"Located in the Sunriver Resort Lodge, this family restaurant is the place to knock back Shigoku oysters with elderberry mignonette while watching the mountain country sunset. Although casual, it’s easy to forget there are no white tablecloths when cutting into a 40-day dry-aged Tomahawk, or rainbow carrots with fermented honey, fromage blanc, and chimichurri. Kids enjoy making s’mores over a flame at the table for dessert — with house-made vanilla, raspberry, or caramel marshmallows, and graham crackers coated with ganache." - Barb Gonzalez

We are staying in the Sunriver resort condos and decided to come here for brunch. The ambience and service were stellar. High vaulted ceilings in a log style “cabin” with huge fireplaces in the lobby and huge windows to stare out at the snow covered outside. Service was very attentive and friendly. The food was really good for a resort! I enjoyed the lobster eggs Bennie quite a bit. A good brunch menu too with variety of options.

We recently visited this restaurant and were quite disappointed. The prices are high, but the portions are small and don’t justify the cost. The $46 roasted chicken dish was basic in flavor, with only two small pieces of chicken and a few bites of vegetables. While the vegetables were tasty, the chicken didn’t stand out, and it felt like a very underwhelming dish for the price. The $64 steak, while very good in quality and flavor, was way overpriced, especially since it came with no sides—no salad, vegetables, or bread. If it had been paired with something like the vegetables from the chicken dish, it might have been a bit more reasonable. The view was beautiful, but that’s where the positives end. The cleanliness was lacking; the booths and window sills were dusty, and there were food splatters visible throughout the restaurant. We’ve eaten here in the past and enjoyed it, but after this experience, we won’t be returning anytime soon. The food and value have definitely declined.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Spendy. We shared a porterhouse for dinner which was very flavorful! Crab omelet, steak and eggs and biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Gravy was not your average white gravy, but had such a great flavor! The mimosa was picture perfect! They had a bloody Mary and mimosa bar on Sunday.

I was unsure of this restaurant because I know how inflated resort prices can be, and although I do think we paid more than we should have, like $18 for a one shot of vodka lemon drop, it was still a good dining experience. Out of everything we ordered, the chopped salad was my favorite. I enjoyed it so much that when I got home I tried to recreate it. The salmon however was very fishy and did give me stomach pain. I stopped eating it after only a few bites due to the strong smell of fish coming from my plate. The chicken was so juicy and packed with vegetables. We also loved the chai crème brûlée, it was the best brûlée I’ve had to date. Our waiter was also such a gem and very attentive.

Google
Beautiful view. Ordered at 12:00 and were served (appetizer and dinner at the same time) at 1:10. Food was meh. Servers were great. Venue is very nice. They use the brunch menu until 1:00. I had the breakfast burger. The meat was great ( try to find bad meat in Bend). The bun a bit much and a bit dry. My wife had the quiche which was burnt and dry.

Google
What an exceptional Holiday dinner with the family. We ate at Lodge Kitchen and had Carla as our server- she provided service that was top of the line. Standouts were the dry aged ribeye and traditional caeser salad. Espresso Martini was on par with the meal but the best part of the evening was the ambiance! We also had a lighter meal at The Owl’s Nest and brunch- such a fun vacation- nothing beats Sunriver!

BetC

Google
Food to Owl’s Nest comes from here, they almost have the same menu, so we had the mac and cheese again , had Caesar’s salad which was okay, and banana split. The view was great tho ☺️

Google
We had charcuterie, lamb, seafood stew, squid ink pasta, kids steak and chicken tenders, crème brûlée, and sorbet. It was pricey but very epicurean. Kids steak was a good deal.

Yelp
Our 2nd times here, we loved everything about it. The food was sooooooo good. Danielle our waitress was so nice . She did such a great job. We will come back here when we back to Sunriver!

Yelp
Our group of five had a great dinner at Lodge Kitchen last night. It was pricey, but we expected that. From the deviled eggs to the burrata to the trout and more, we all loved every dish. The servers were attentive, and the food arrived quickly. It was a nice ambiance, not noisy at all. We appreciated the booth that fit all of us and allowed for easier conversation. I look forward to returning.

Lisa E.

Yelp
Excellent food and excellent service! Conveniently located inside the lodge with a great view.

Danielle F.

Yelp
The only think I really loved about this restaurant was the view. The food was just okay and so was the service. When I was walking to my table there was a wet spot on the floor with no sign and I slipped pretty badly. Then the service was so slow on a non-busy day and when the food was finally brought out it was disappointing.

Pooneh E.

Yelp
Myline was an incredible server! Beautiful restaurant and beautiful view. Food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Sharon L.

Yelp
Enjoyable brunch experience. We came here twice during our stay at Sunriver. The food is pretty good, service is friendly and professional, but the view is the best part of the dining experience. I had the pork belly benedict on one day, which was decent. The pork belly was soft and the biscuit was flaky. The strawberries were amazingly sweet. The second day I had the yogurt parfait and thought it was even better. The granola was tasty and had a variety of seeds (not plain granola), and again the strawberries were wonderful.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Food was not good and very expensive. The best dinner was the child's grilled chicken. We won't be going back

Courtney U.

Yelp
We visited here twice during our stay. The first time, for dinner and I had the Fisherman's Stew, and we ordered the scampi appetizer. Scampi was delicious! The Fisherman's Stew, the broth was thick and rich and full of flavor. The fish was hit or miss. The muscles were dull and the salmon was way too fishy (I couldn't eat it). We ended with a Blueberry Cheesecake dessert that was lack luster. I both expected and confirmed with our waitress that it was like a blueberry compote or syrup, not blueberry in the cake. Not cool. The cherry on top of dinner was that our waitress didn't seem to be into it. Fake smiles, walked away quickly every time, and we also heard her complaining to her colleagues about having to server someone else's food. It's an open kitchen... Second time...completely different! We went for breakfast and our waitress was inviting and we could tell liked what she was doing. I ordered the steak and eggs...perfection!!! I'll totally go again for the most important meal of the day! The view...breathtaking But again..the prices are exorbitant. For a place where food and service is inconsistent, your prices should reflect the service (food and staff).

Katie B.

Yelp
Ridiculously priced for a mediocre steak. Better bang for your buck at Outback. If you want to eat at the lodge, go to the owls nest instead cause then you can at least get a full meal out of what your ordered.

Christine M.

Yelp
We had the most amazing dinner here last night! The service was wonderful, the view was beautiful and the food delicious. We started with a bottle of JLohr cab, devil eggs and Caesar salad Then moved on to one of the best New York Steak I have ever had with mash potato's and asparagus that was perfectly cooked. Ending our evening with a espresso choc martini and cream brûlée Can't wait to eat here again

Dave K.

Yelp
Main restaurant at Sunriver Lodge. Nice fancy but casual ambiance, Steaks were great though one was a tiny bit over cooked, and the sizes for are too big for one person but almost too small to share, which is awkward. Wedge salad was great, carpaccio great, the deviled eggs unfortunately looked better than they tasted. The side baked potato was somehow screwed up, more slimy and hard than light and fluffy. House wines were fine, the martini looked good and not too big. The service was outstanding-- thanks Jaymie! The Sunriver fine diner now has two good options: this place and the south Bend Bistro. Come here for the broader menu and resort vibe, go there for better food and the boutique bistro feel.

Yelp
While most of the time I do find the positives on food review, taking into consideration of all the variables it takes make a great guest dining experience, but sometimes.... Disclosure: I have been going to this restaurant got 50 years, when I was a kid. My memories were of the golden years when this was a dress up fine dining experience and it was always amazing. Things change, I get it, and while the names have changed it is still Sunriver which brings me to my review. Location: One of the best locations, anywhere, you will not be disappointed and if you can make it near sunset, be there. Dining area: well it has changed a lot, not fancy now very casual which is now Sunriver culture. To me it could look a lot nicer considering the real estate. Menu: Pretty okay, nothing to complain about and you will find something you like for sure but read on. Food Prep: Really nicely done and the meals looked great. Food Quality: Terrible, ordered an appetizer steamed clams ($22) that were uneatable and tasted like old fish. Maybe someone should taste what they are making. Main course positives, French fries were incredible.... I ordered the Steak Frits ($36?) and it was uneatable, while it was under cooked it also had gristle all the way through the cut. Wait Staff: Hostess was amazing... Server very nice but they did not know how to deal with the situation. My concern was we did not eat the clams and my steak was not eaten. Usually they say something. When they asked how everything was I told them the truth. It seemed like there was no manager on duty or they did not want to deal with the manager. Value: Should have ordered a hamburger but when we drop over $200 + tip on a meal I do expect to able to eat it. Recommend: YES, maybe a really bad night with supply chain or labor excuses but if it is just food for stupid tourons, well this is what it seemed like on this night. VISIT Sunriver, but at this point in time do not have high dining expectations for the lodge.

Yelp
This place is consistently not good. We have gone back twice thinking it might get better but it never does. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table when there was 8 tables completely empty, we know it was a server issue since they only had three servers. So we get that, it's understandable. The food has just gone down hill. They are trying to be an upscale steak restaurant based on prices, but the food is not living up to it. The steak was okay but not great. We got Mac and cheese which hardly had any cheese sauce, basked potato which we found out thirty minute after we ordered that they were not available. We got mashed with topping of a baked potato. We started with a salad and had bread. Bread was cold and not tasty, salad was good. Hard to mess up a Cesar salad. Our server was friendly and was trying her best. We won't be back anymore. Wasted $130 plus tip on a mediocre at best meal. It is sad cause the ambiance is nice, and we want to love this place.

Yelp
This is a great place to eat but pricey. Food and service are typically excellent and the view while dining is spectacular at all times of the year.

Teri J.

Yelp
This was a nice surprise in the Sun River area. We ate the tomato-bisque soup which had a delicious roundness to the flavor. We also enjoyed the Caesar salad; bright and fresh and earthy with the anchovies. Our server was very polite and sweet. We're planning to return!

Jason W.

Yelp
Sunriver is an awesome place, its one our favorite places. Having said that, the Lodge Kitchen is a nice ambiance with good service but the food is overpriced. We got a filet mignonette, which was just okay. The side dishes were average - the mashed potatoes were good but the carrots weren't. The prices are consistent with a high end steak house but I can't say th Le food lives up to it. The service and ambiance, however is very nice.

Yelp
Party of 7 on Feb 18th for dinner. Appetizer's: the bread plate was 4 brioche rolls and 4 slices of a multigrain bread. The multigrain was slightly stale, not worth $14, 4/10. While on the menu, they were out of oysters. Burrata with pears, would recommend, 7/10. Caesar salad was tasty where there was dressing, half of the hearts of romaine were dry, flavor was decent. 6/10. My son said the shrimp scampi was amazing. Sides: mashed potatoes were fine, onions on top were not a crowd pleaser. Carrots with whipped ricotta, very tasty, needed salt, 8/10. Mac and cheese got great reviews. Mushrooms were a fav also. Entree's: it was reported the rainbow trout was "ok", would not order again. The table had 2 NY steaks, a10oz, filet and a 12oz waygu ribeye. All but the filet came sliced, which no was was a fan of. All steaks were ordered medium rare. The NY's were raw in the middle which was disappoint given thinner cuts. The filet was raw in the middle. The ribeye was darn near well on the ends and medium in the middle, very disappointing. Steals were seasoned well, 5/10 on all the steaks. Desserts: Chocolate chip cookie, creme brûlée were great per report. I had the apple cake, doors were very moist and flavorful, others were dry and gritty, 6/10. I was a good meal, but did not justify the near $800 bill. Now that I have had dinner there, I would not go back. Having had breakfast there also, I would say that breakfast is the highlight, skip dinner.

Yelp
We had a disappointing experience here two years ago, but decided to give it another try last night. We will NOT be coming back. My pasta dish was awful. The pasta was dried out. It was supposed to be stuffed with spinach, but was all ricotta. It was served with a "salad" of old-looking and wilted lettuces and one piece of bread. I was only able to eat about 1/3 of the dish before pushing it aside. My husband has the chicken, which he said was fine, but looked like something we could make at home. The prices are astronomical and NOT worth it. Do not waste your money here...go get a burger at the Owl's Nest instead.

Tracy D.

Yelp
What an amazing improvement in service and food since last June (2021)! I'm sure it has a lot to do with having more staff now. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, which was good. The cocktail sauce was not spicy in the least bit but like I said, it was good. Fir dinner had the filet mignon and the New York strip. Both were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were delicious. We were both impressed with the quality and flavor of the meat given that it is not a steakhouse. We ordered the chocolate cake to go. It was good.

Darlene F.

Yelp
Bread plate $12 served cold with tiny amount of butter. Crab tagliatelle had 3 tiny pieces of crab $1 worth of pasta for $40 Seafood stew tasty but lots of chunks of onion and little stew juice. Overall very disappointing. Way overpriced for what you get.

Sunny B.

Yelp
This place gets one star because I did not get food poisoning. As a foodie and wine enthusiast, I was extremely disappointed with the Lodge Kitchen at Sunriver. There is obviously no chef on staff and absolutely no one with any wine knowledge either. A couple examples: The Caesar salad consisted of 4 leaves of romaine lettuce, 3 Spanish anchovies, a very light dusting of cheese, and fragments of lacy breadcrumbs for $16.00. It had no dressing. No salt. No pepper. No garlic. The lettuce tasted like water. The seafood stew lacked flavor as well. It was basically a tomato broth with fennel, leeks, mussels, clams, shrimp, and two 1" pieces of salmon. It was obvious the seafood was just tossed into tomato soup. No depth of flavor or seafood stock. It came with a piece of toast with orange mayo. Was that supposed to be saffron? It was flavorless and greasy. There was no garlic or salt in this dish. I was charged $38 for this abomination! The wine list has some pricey bottles. There were NO vintages listed! If you are a wine enthusiast, you will be very disappointed by this mess. This place needs to hire an actual chef. And a wine consultant. The prices are exorbitant for food at the quality level of a Denny's.

Kevin F.

Yelp
We've always enjoyed our dinners here. I agree that the prices are a little high relative to what they deliver but the food is memorably good and the service always fantastic.

Bella M.

Yelp
The restaurant is located inside Sunriver Lodge. Just a few steps from my in-laws condo. Beautiful view and one of the best Crème brûlée we've had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Love this place! The view here is absolutely breathtaking especially during sunset. They have patio dining....you can also dine by the fire pit (outside). Bring your own smores makings and enjoy live music with the family. It's a very chill atmosphere. We come here almost every year.

Patty G.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here! They have adopted a steak house model, and every dish was perfectly prepared and delicious - Caesar salad, New York strip, creamed spinach, and amazing sautéed mushrooms. And a great view of the Christmas light show to boot. We will definitely be back!

Manny G.

Yelp
Solid 2. I wanted to love this place. Instead was totally disappointed. The food is average nothing spectacular. The view is beautiful although the filthy windows make it difficult to enjoy its beauty. The hostess was not very inviting and thats all I will say about her. The Waiter was absolutely horrible. Slow and not very attentive. I understand that staffing is a challenge although this person should find something else that does not require customer service. With that said we had better service from other wait staff that saw we were being neglected. My opinion is you are better off at any of the other restaurants on the premises. Spend your time elsewhere.

Peter L.

Yelp
Very average. Billed as the best restaurant at the resort but the Owl's Nest is far better (we ate there the night before). The seafood stew was terrible, with 3 shrimp (that somehow were cold inside the hot stew), a couple of pieces of salmon (with bones) and maybe 2 slices of vegetable and canned tomatoes. The worst I've ever experienced. Avoid and go next door to the Owls Nest that is about half the price for entrees.

Erik T.

Yelp
There's a few great places to eat in Sunriver and this is one of them. It's a bit on the pricey-side but the food, drinks and view are worth it. We've been coming here for the past several years and their service and food quality have continued to be consistently great. Their menu does change from time-to-time but they have a few that are always present (e.g. their Wagyu burger, fried chicken sandwich, etc.). This is a great place to grab a bite and/or cocktail and watch the sunset. Choose to eat indoors or out, at the bar or in the dining hall. We've always had a good experience here. One thing to note, during the busy seasons like spring and summer, make sure to make a reservation as it does fill up fast.

TIna L.

Yelp
I had to give this place 5 stars for their patience. We brought three kids in here (all are messy, gross, loud, ADHD jumping off the furniture type of kids), and the place never kicked us out. They actually let us sit and talk for 3-4 hours. The food was only okay, but the view is fabulous. Very similar to Portland City Grill (in pricing and atmosphere).

Ammara T.

Yelp
Made a reservation for breakfast since it was the weekend and we were seated right away. Our server was great and personable. We ordered the panckaes, eggs and hashbrowns which were huge and definately shareable. We also got the eggs benedict which was delicous along with with a vanilla latte. The pankcakes were the main show stopper since they were so fluffy and soft. However, it did take about 45mins for our food to arrive and we were just two people. The party of 8 behind us which arrived later even received there food first. Anyways food wasn't bad but I far more enjoyed cafe sintara in the village. The views on the patio however are amazing!

Lindsey B.

Yelp
Sandy provided impeccable service and the food was amazing. Honestly, the best Cesar salad I've ever had plus salmon on top - it was delicious and satisfying in every way. Sandy was so sweet and fun to chat with. Will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Bill D.

Yelp
I really can't complain too much as they have stepped things up here from a couple of years ago. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke don't fix it" and that's where their Club along with the Tomato Basil soup and I stand. It's probably one of the best Clubs I've had and the soup tastes fresh and well prepared as well. Service is good and establishment clean. Worth the try if at Sunriver.

Sean S.

Yelp
Its is just average. And expensive. Service was decent, For my appetizer I had the clam chowder which was somewhat bland and chunky along with an odd presentation but it was passable. Not recommend though. The New York Steak is what I got for my main course and expectations were high seeing as it was priced at near 60 dollars. I was going to get the fillet but they were out. While the steak was pretty good, it didn't match the price at all in my opinion. I also asked for a side of garlic mashed potatoes twice and I just didn't get them, but I decided to let it go. At least they weren't on the bill. For desert I had the carrot cake which pretty obviously wasn't made fresh. It was cold and stiff like it just got out of the refrigerator. I honestly couldn't tell what the butter pecans were at first glance as they looked like chunks of dog food on my plate but they weren't bad. Overall its pretty hard to screw up a cake so it was pretty good. All and all, not disappointed, but left alot to be desired as far as dinner service. I remember this place being a much better lunch spot as the fish and chips are great and their burgers are good too. Do yourself a favor and stick with their burgers, sandwiches and fish & chips rather than their fine dining options.

Melissa L.

Yelp
Given we were visiting around the holidays, I made reservations ahead of time for a party of 3 to ensure that we would not have a long wait. Turns out, that didn't help. Carson's American Kitchen is located in Sunriver resort. We were staying nearby and opted for a nicer dinner. We arrived on time; however, we had to wait 15-20 minutes past our reservation time. By the time were were seated, we were very hungry and placed our drink order right away. It took a while to get our drinks and we all decided to place our food order when the drinks were brought to minimize having to wait for the server to come to our table. I ordered the cheese & charcuterie board. $28.50 Selection of 3 meats and 3 cheese, the selections were of average quality and I felt like I could have gone to the local grocery store and made the same board for a fraction of the cost. Another at our table ordered the winter vegetable coconut curry ($23) and was disappointed. Another ordered a salad and ended up not eating it. I am not sure if they were understaffed and experienced too large of crowds which then caused long waits and subpar food. It was a disappointing and overpriced dinner for our group of 3.

Bill S.

Yelp
If you are in Sunriver, then this is probably the best place around. The ambiance and decor is very much in tune with the location and there is a beautiful view out the windows. The service and selection were very good and I started with the crab avocado and it was very tasty, but looks pretty messy on pictures. The bread rolls are very fresh and warm. I had the pan seared rainbow trout and it was as good as it looks in pictures and I definitely recommend this selection.

Shannon F.

Yelp
I'll start by saying that I don't often have high hopes for hotel restaurants. I figure you're sometimes just stuck with what they offer you at high prices. Well, the prices are still high...but the food is excellent! We ended up eating at Carson's for 2 different breakfasts. The first time we decided to share a Monte Cristo. We are always concerned that by sharing, we won't get enough food, so we added 1 biscuit & gravy and a side of bacon. When the Monte Cristo rolled out with the side of tasty home fries, we realized why we decided to start sharing dishes in the first place. It was a huge portion! Thankfully, we had a fridge and microwave in the room. Everything was really great and that may have been the best biscuit & gravy I've ever had. I'm not a big sausage fan, so I was pleased to see they added another meat...I think it was bacon, but it could have been ham. Our second go, my husband had an omelette, it was just fine. I had the lox and bagel and couldn't believe the amount I was brought and the presentation. It was really good and I had leftovers too. If I ever have the chance to go back, I'd like to try some of the dinner dishes as well.

Wendy D.

Yelp
Delicious food, high prices but worth it. NOT fast food. Definitely a slow down and enjoy place. Good drinks selection and beautiful presentation and taste. Worth it.

Ana M.

Yelp
New to Oregon, new to San River for work. Stopped by Lodge Kitchen with my coworker for dinner. I had the vegetarian gnocchis and my worker had the salmon, both were delicious!! Great service and beautiful place!

Steve F.

Yelp
I'll make this brief. Frank, our server, was very attentive and helpful. We tried the fried chicken sandwich, the smoked chicken breast, and the salmon sandwich for lunch. The food was lacking due to a sparse application of seasoning and dressings, but acceptable. The truffle frites were very good. I would recommend asking for a side of tartar for the salmon sandwich and ranch for the chicken sandwich. Overall, an expensive place to go for lunch considering the average food.

Mike R.

Yelp
We pretty much ate most of our meals at the lodge kitchen. Here's the biggest question I have for the lodge. Are you pet friendly or not? We have a chihuahua that fits in my wife's purse. 1st meal-Breakfast. Had dog along and staff didn't bat a eye and no problem. Really enjoyed the pork belly Benedict. Pretty tasty bloody Mary's and mimosa options. So stopped in for dinner and staff was really rude and told us no animals allowed and ended up doing a to go order. Was pretty curios to check out Yelp for pet friendly options for dinning. To my surprise the number one pet friendly option on Yelp showed the lodge kitchen that we were standing in front of. Pretty much all meals for the three of us with drinks was all about a hundred bucks. Breakfast serve rocked and dinner service sucked!

Antonio G. F.

Yelp
Good food, but almost no vegan options. Rating this so low because of the lack of plant-based options. They fries, one salad, broccolini and broccoli.

Gayle L.

Yelp
This dining experience has significantly worsened over the past 6 months. We are regulars (including when it was Carson's). Staff is simply not friendly, food takes forever (even when ordering kid food right when we sat down, asking for it to be prioritized it was a 45m wait for one $15 kid cheese pizza with four slices; the rest of the order was almost 1.5 hours), and food quality has gotten worse. We used to love delicious, fresh, high quality service and relatively fast meals here. We have had so many poor experiences this summer that I now have to recommend against eating here. Prices have also gone up significantly, some of which is just inflation and fair, but the quality and service worsening so significantly with price increases so high mean we will not be returning. Big bummer! This place was a gem for so long.

Milena S.

Yelp
Took one hour for food. And we had the worse service no even gave us refills water we had to get it ourselves. Steak was just fat and not cooked as we requested. Caesar salad $15 and it was only 5 leafs of Romaine lettuces. Oh and don't go in the corner boots is a freezing cold. I wish I could put 0 stars

Thao M.

Yelp
I was staying at the sun river resort and decided to try this restaurant on site. The lobster Mac and cheese was just okay, it had too much of a "herb" flavor to it that just wasn't great. The steak was a bit over cooked. The fried Brussels sprouts had delicious flavor, just a little dry. The customer service was great!

Frequent D.

Yelp
Five stars! Tremendous service by Sandy!! She went above and beyond what we expected. Food was excellent and the view of the mountains was beautiful. Will definitely return!

Frances L.

Yelp
We ordered the elk meatloaf and steak frites (which were both cooked perfectly)To-go since outdoor seating reservations where booked. I was a little hesitant when I ordered how the food would be when it arrived at the room, but it arrived hot and on time. The food was amazing to-go so I can't wait to sit in the restaurant next time and try some more items.

Sally B.

Yelp
We own a house in Sunriver and spend 3 to 4 weeks a year here. When in town, we used to be regulars at this restaurant when it was called Carson's and probably ate there 8 to 10 times a year. But now that it is the Lodge Kitchen, the menu has changed (for the worse in our view) and prices have escalated. We are not generally that price sensitive but just don't think the food quality matches the pricing. So, the most recent time we went we decided that was likely our last. We now go to the Owl's Nest when we want to eat at the Lodge and South Bend Bistro when we want really good food.

Marc L.

Yelp
Had a couple terrific takeout experiences here. Both for lunch and dinner. My dad raved about the fried chicken sandwich and my brother had similar plaudits for both their New York strip and ribeye offerings. I found the ricotta gnocchi delightful and really enjoyed their tomato soup and garlic smashed potato sides as well. Food was always ready ahead of schedule and was brought curbside to the main lodge loop for optimal convenience. Love this spot!

Stephen E.

Yelp
Excellent New Years Day Buffet. Delightful server named Sandy. We had a great time with our family and friends. Keep up the good work.

Tara W.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the resort for Christmas. We expected our dining experience at the lodge to be top notch since the rest of our experience was amazing. The food was sub-par and highly over priced. For Christmas Eve we ordered the elk meatloaf, it wasn't to bad but the potatoes were cold and the asparagus was almost raw. I ordered the ham dinner and had to return it because it was mostly fat. My husband ordered the prime rib that was not tender and very chewy. The Cesar salad was three leaves of romaine with parmesan sprinkled on top. On a good note, the Brussels sprouts were good and the pop-overs were very tasty.

Yelp
Ordered for take away. Excellent service over the phone. Food was ready for we were told. They keep an eye out for the truck and brought it out straight away, in the midst of a snow storm. Food was hot and delicious when we got it home. The steak sandwich was quite good. Tomato bisque a big favorite in our house.
