We spent one night at The Lodge in the Woods and really enjoyed this little escape. We loved the theme and the beautiful setting. During the day, we visited the horses and goats just next to the lodge, which was a really nice experience. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very attentive and kind. The food was tasty, although the choice was a bit limited. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a unique place.

I absolutely loved the hospitality and the safe, welcoming space the lodge offers. What made it extra special for me were the animals that lived on the lodge grounds and farm—it brought back so many cherished childhood memories, especially those shared with my dad. During my stay, I caught a glimpse of what it truly means to live in harmony with nature and animals. The food was another highlight—so colourful, flavourful, and lovingly prepared with ingredients harvested right from the farm. Every bite was a celebration of freshness and care. A heartfelt thank you to Bernard and the wonderful team for making my stay so meaningful and memorable. I’m deeply grateful.

I spent two days at lodgeinthewoods and it was one of the most peaceful experiences I’ve had. The house is beautiful — minimal, calm, and full of soul. The food was amazing (still dreaming of the seafood soup and the buckwheat), and I loved walking in the forest and washing the horses at their farm. Laura, who’s also from Spain (how small the world is), made us feel so at home. And Bernard, the owner, he’s the epitome of good taste and healthy lifestyle. Thank you both for such a special stay.

My husband and I finally made the trip to lodge in the woods during my second trimester. We were searching for comfort and peace and as animal lovers, this place felt like the perfect fit. It far surpassed our expectations. I loved the food. It was creatively curated and quite satisfying. We dined in often, and even when we ordered from outside, the meals were thoughtfully arranged for us at the communal table. What made our stay unforgettable was the people. Their kindness and personal touches added so much heart to our experience. We’re already dreaming of returning with our son. This is where I want him to experience nature in its purest form: the animals, the insects, the plants, the sunlight, and the serenity of the pool. This lodge holds a special place in our hearts. The quiet mornings spent photographed alongside the animals, surrounded by such beautiful interiors, will forever be etched in our memories.

Thank you! We had a inspiring and wonderful stay at the Lodge. We were welcomed with warmth and friendly staff. The room was remarkable, clean and had a stunning view. We had an amazing experience with washing, feeding and playing the the many animals on their property. The animals were well kept and honestly have a wider array of shampoo and conditioner than me. We had amazing discussions and chats with other guests aswell as Lauri and Bernard. We were taught about their philosophy, their Farming experience and eating habits. Bernard showed us their farm and let us plant a some new tomatoes with all their tipps and tricks! Thanks to the whole team for this wonderful experience and see you again soon!

Simply a stunning place, like something out of a dream. I don’t even know where to begin. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the food is incredibly healthy and delicious, and the farm itself is absolutely charming. The staff and owners are genuinely warm and attentive, always making sure you feel comfortable and well cared for. You’re surrounded by wonderful animals, kind-hearted people and an atmosphere that invites you to truly relax and unwind.

Lodge in the woods is definitely heaven on earth. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my 34th birthday. All i can say is nothing could be better than this. Everything about this place is amazing. The hospitality, staff,management,rooms, vibes, food etc everything!🥹 can i just be honest? I have never visited a villa/lodge with such beauty! The staff are amazing and super friendly especially the owner himself! Thank you Bernard! I truly appreciated your kindness. This place is definitely a must visit for those who appreciate nature and its beauty and also for those who loves animals🫶🏻 Best part is all the animals are treated well with respect and care. They also love to surprise their guests. I got 2 delicious cakes for my birthday and it was so yummy and healthy!
