The Lodges At Vashon was an amazing place to stay. The lodge we stayed in was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The walkability score is a 10! Lots to explore right outside the property and just up the road. Close to the Ferry Terminal and lots of amazing sites on the island. We’d highly recommend staying here!

Google
Rooms are clean and have all you need. I especially liked Roku , safe and ironing board (not used but nice to have), and coffee, water and other amenities. The lack of separate bathroom I can appreciate but very uncomfortable (hair in kitchen sink, makeup and blow-dry in kitchen area). It the reason it rated lower.

Beautiful, simple, and modern! I enjoy this place because I know my home can never be this minimal and clean haha! These lodges are so fun to stay in. So simple but has everything you need. I love how family/pet friendly this place is. And you can’t beat the location….so close to town, you can just walk to the main strip where you can find all the stores and restaurants I appreciate how easy the check-in is. It’s all done through online. You get a code and thats what you use to enter your lodge. This place can be enjoyed in any weather…the outdoor amenities can be used year-round. The community courtyard is covered and has a fireplace and fire pit. There are 2 cute outdoor dome igloos you can relax in and hang out. There is plentiful outdoor space for kids, pets, or just anyone to run around in. It’s just a great place to get away from the city and to enjoy island life with a little sophistication

Google
Absolutely wonderful!! Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of all the wonderful amenities this resort has available, as we were busy the entire time with a family wedding. But what we were able to use was the amazing outdoor fireplace, the wonderful grassy area with games and a place our grandchildren and pets could enjoy.

This place is amazing. The moment we got here we immediately felt relaxed. The coffee, popcorn, hot cocoa and other treats that welcomed us upon arrival helped us immediately unwind from our busy lives. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the cozy reading areas, the fireplace and very comfortable bed.. we will be back!!! A truly amazing staycation!! Feeling refreshed!!

Google
Great stay overall, grounds were in need of some care, but the lodge we rented was very clean. If it were more affordable I would have given it 5 stars. The coffee they provided was delicious and they had a pour over with creamer. It was a nice touch.

We stayed at the Lodges for the second time this past Friday, and once again, it was amazing. Our lodge was so comfortable, and there was even a bed and treat for our pup, Rupert! A perfect location for a restful weekend get-away. We'll be back!

Google
From the most comfortable bed to the best coffee...these lodges are the best! So cozy and quiet with wonderful amenities! The layout of the cabins and the land are just beautiful! Much more than I expected! We had visited Vashon several times over the years since we have family there but somehow overlooked these lodges! Apparently, they have been a well-kept secret! Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
This is a nice place and would be a great venue for a family reunion or something like that. Lodges were nice although the layout was kind of odd. Super comfortable bed. Location puts you right near town of Vashon so it is handy to everything. Contact with office was polite and efficient.

Yelp
Great communication prior to check in. The property was beautiful and the lodge was well appointed with maybe the most comfortable bed I've slept in in such a long time (spill your secrets on the mattress and linens!!!) Very spacious and a great layout. Was staying on the property for a wedding and the special touches of welcome bags in the lodge on arrival and names on the door was so cute and felt intimate and special. The fire pits were great and the area was walking distance to restaurants and bakeries, important since I didn't have a car to get around! Would highly recommend for a couples get away or event!

Yelp
Awesome hotel! It's in the middle of downtown and within walking distance to many restaurants. The remote check in and check out was seamless and easy. The interior was modern and minimalist, but not lacking. The communal area with the firepit was super cool and a nice place to roast smores at night!
google avatar

Yelp
The lodges on Vashon is a nice, modern lodge with rooms that are larger than your typical hotel room. There is a firepit that is shared amongst the guests and a common area where everyone can enjoy playing games, eating, or just relaxing by an outdoor fireplace listening to live music. Behind the patio are 2 outdoor igloo/spheres which can easily seat 5-7 ppl. It would be fun to hang out in one of these igloos in the fall or winter months. I highly recommend staying here for a short weekend getaway.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Vashon. The Lodges on Vashon had everything we hoped for. Conveniently located near restaurants and shops, very accommodating for our dogs, clean and stylish. Great outdoor spaces. We will be back!

Yelp
Take me back! PLEASE! I wished I could have stayed longer. I adored our lodge. Oh all the beautiful details just made me feel special. And as a Mother of 3 adult kids and one young child we need to feel special and catered too! My husband and I went to Vashon Island for a quick getaway. We had lodge number 8. And it was gorgeous! The ceiling to floor windows and cute little table by the window. The fireplace, the heated floors, and the decor is modern and minimal. Clean and sleek. The bathroom has so many features and a cute patio. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was easily accessible. The bedroom honey that mattress will lay your body down! I slept so great! The mattress was soft yet firm. The pillows were perfect. Sheets were a nice thread count. The nature that surrounds your lodge is beautiful. Tall trees walking trails and a communal space to hang out. Fire pit and a cool place to sit by a fir and enjoy a drink. But, that is not all. The lodge is walking distance to so make options to eat. It is so cute to just slow down and walk. The community and people of Vashon are so kind. And the ferry ride is beautiful especially on a clear day. If you are able please stay here. It is a whole experience and worth your time. I will return. I gotta see Vashon in the summer.

Yelp
Decided to stay on Vashon Island and chose the Lodges. After previewing the property from attending an event and I was not disappointed! I love that my room, was more than a room. It was like a mini lodge, thus the name Lodges on Vashon fits appropriately. The bed was so nice and soft and comfortable. Softer than what I normally prefer but it felt luxurious. Block out blinds make it darker and allowed me to sleep in. The little kitchen was nice and had a French press coffee maker along with the directions which helped. A mini fridge and microwave was nice for my beverages and making the microwave popcorn in the kitchen. A fireplace with a timer was nice for the evening. The bath tub was also epic. With a heated floor and heat lamp, I felt like a queen. Add the bath salts and voila! The toilet is in an entirely separate place which was nice, if you were staying with someone they could use the toilet if the shower/tub was occupied. The rest of the lodge had plenty of aesthetic and seating. I wish a few throw blankets but, oh well. The property has community areas to grill and or play games. The outdoor globes to sit in are cozy and warm. I can't say enough to express how much I loved staying here versus a traditional hotel. No one above you or the sounds of annoying doors that usually come with a hotel room. Just peace, quiet and relaxation. Worth every penny! Happy travels. SYOY.

Yelp
Lodge #3 was very clean & comfortable for my husband and I and our adult son. The location near the commercial district of Vashon was ideal for walking into town for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed exploring Pt. Robinson and hiking at the Marine park as well as the Fishery Pond trail. We also enjoyed the Mukai Farm & Garden and the Country Store. Unfortunately, many places were closed on Mondays & Tuesdays which were the only two days that we visited Vashon.

Yelp
Would have never known about this place if it hadn't been for the Passport to Vashon Event by Yelp being hosted by this place. What a great place to meet! First of all, they are dog friendly which will always guarantee that you have my business. Second, when we came we were greeted with a wine and cheese reception, which buys my loyalty. Then we got to sit around the fire pit on a pretty sunny day, meeting people and snacking, while getting to see the stunning facilities. I'm a Hollywood TV producer by trade, so I could see shooting photos for actors portfolios here, making commercials, or if nothing else, having Zoom backgrounds that will make your co-workers envious. That fire pit area had beautiful swing chairs along with picnic table and different sitting areas for the hipster set to enjoy their craft beers or to have a nice outdoor conference. Right behind the fire pit on the lawn there. Are two geodesic domes- one with couches and coffee table that feels like a lounge. Even though the sun was out, the air was a little brisk, but you couldn't tell in those domes because it was warm and you could sunbathe in there. The other dome had a conference table and I could see my staff doing pitch meetings or just study group in that space and being refreshed by being surrounded by nature. We got to tour Lodge 1 and 9. The Lodges are guest suites that have two wings on opposite ends of a center area that includes your bathroom and kitchen space. Lodge 1 had a really cool outside sitting area right off the shower so if you want to air dry at naturel in the sun, you have all the privacy in the world to do that. the owner said that the floors are heated. It also has a living room with a swing chair overlooking the grassy field with the geodesic dome, so if you are aching to get your pics in there, you'll be first to know when they're empty by looking out your window. Lodge 9 is the same format, but it sleeps four people. They have a stash of board games in that room which is such a great idea. Right outside the room is another fire pit area and a grassy area where you can play outdoor games. The Lodges on Vashon is located so close to town, so you'll want for nothing here. The staff is really nice here and the girl who served us snacks was happy to answer questions and to give restaurant recommendations which I love because I'm all about food. We happened to show up on a day where we got a break from all of the rain, so we got to see what a gem this place is. Can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the rest of the island and you can bet we're making our reservations for this place.

Yelp
We stayed at the Lodges for 2 nights from Dec 25th to Dec 27th. This was a quick getaway with my husband, our toddler, our dog and myself! I was really excited about staying here, I had done some research after hearing about it from another mom I follow on Instagram. I was specially excited because they seemed very pet friendly and our pup could come with us for a $45 fee which included a dog bed, bowls and a blanket, so I did not pack any of his stuff at home. Upon arrival, we couldn't find any of the dog things, so I called them (they don't have staff on site) and was told the cleaning ladies were probably in a rush to get home since it was Christmas and forgot to leave the pet amenities, but that they'd be delivered on the 26th. We never got them. Our pup didn't have a great experience since he had to sleep on a doormat (they don't allow pups in beds). The morning of the 26th we had a power outage that lasted about an hour and a half, I understand it was weather related, but they never got back to my email asking about it or the fact that rain water was coming in the front door. Finally today we checked out in the morning, again I emailed because the check out code I had to input was not working (the #8 in the keypad wasn't working). I also reminded them we never got the pet amenities and asked for the $45 pet fee refund. Again, I have not heard back from them. The room itself was lovely, we stayed at Lodge #10, but the customer service was just not good at all. If you don't have staff on site at least make sure you're on top of your calls & emails. I was very excited for this short family getaway but unfortunately our experience fell short of our expectations. I still hope we'll hear back from them since we never got the pet amenities we were expecting,

Yelp
Tiny home hamlet on the island! Converted 'shipping containers-like' into a tiny home village retreat. Walking in, the grounds are neatly kept in a natural setting with paved walkways. Our lodge ~ comfortable bedsheets, small kitchenette, and a lounge nook equipped with an acoustic guitar with broken guitar strings. Large shower was unexpected though the soap amenities need an quality upgrade. Each lodge was separated just enough for that extra privacy. The grounds ~ pup friendly, large field to frolick around. The pavilion was a nice moment to sit by the gas fireplace, relax in the hanging basket chairs. The domes were a bit moldy to lounge in. Gas grills & kitchen available to use for guests wanting to picnic. Check-in & checkout all done electronically with no front desk staff on property. The cleaning staff were not that willing to assist us with a few extra needs during our stay and kept referring us to contact management via phone. No restaurant or snack bar on site. A large grocery store is a minute drive for any supplies or evening munchies. But walkable to town restaurants and cafes with a local brewery literally next door ;) Pricey splurge ~ $400 per nite for a tranquil stay in a clean sanitized cabin aside from no pool or hot tub.

Yelp
Close by everything and is pretty peaceful and relaxing. Inside, was tight in some corners but nothing serious, overall I highly recommend it. *Update your Vashon Tourism docs, some of the businesses are closed for good

Yelp
What a wonderful, easy, relaxing experience. From the ease of making reservation to the speed at which inquiries were answered, the folks at the Lodges made my trip a little bit easier. The Lodges are situated within walking distance of many of the shops and bakeries found along the main drag through "downtown" Vashon. I use quotes because it is a small town feel with friendly, welcoming people. The Lodge we stayed in was clean and ready upon our arrival. The only potential complaint I have is the weather was a bit rainy (sure wish they could have scheduled a little bit more sunshine!). Overall, a wonderful experience and I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Vashon.

Susan A.

Yelp
Lovely grounds, easy place to walk to the excellent bakery (which opens at 6am!). Well set up and decorated. A toaster would be nice and tv should be in living room instead of bedroom - but those are simply personal taste Check-in/out easy as can be. Quick response to emails

Yelp
Great location, attentive team, love the coziness. Also love that it is dog friendly (although she had a tough time getting used to the sleek floor tiles - she did love the pet bed & biscuit). Solid wifi signal as well for those who have to work remotely once in a while. Wish there was a toaster in the room, but that's just personal preference. Would come back for sure.

Yelp
What a fun spot! The whole area is cute and cozy. I love the concept. The lodge itself was great- lots of amenities with space, comfy beds, kitchen items, welcome gift, heated floors in shower, good gym, etc! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. Great location within waking distance of many places. Highly recommend!

Mark A.

Yelp
We went to Vashon during the week for our 20th wedding anniversary and stayed at Lodges on Vashon. We were both greatly impressed with the lodge and its amenities. Walk-in shower, plates and cutlery, a gas fireplace, and a King Sized bed. It was our first time on Vashon, but it certainly won't we out last. We sort of fell in love with the island, and are already talking about when we can get back over there. And I can tell you, the Lodges will now be our default go-to option for lodging.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night and it was very spacious and relaxing. Very convenient location, only 10 min walk to downtown vashon.

Yelp
Wonderful property and amenities made for a peaceful getaway. Rooms were nice and spacious.

Yelp
The cottages are very cute, modern, comfortable with very well maintained and beautiful gardens. The cottages are within walking distance of the main amenities in town which is super convenient. The cottages are a bit tired and do need a fresh coat of interior paint. There is not cable but only Roku which we are not familiar with how to use. There was also no blow dryer which we are used to having one provided. It was nice having local coffee provided with a french press. It would also be nice to have multiple books and games provided. Although we did not use them, it was nice having the option of using their gym and community room. This was our second time staying there and we would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Cotton ..

Yelp
I am so taken with this property! I came to explore Vashon and found myself at an oasis - well designed, tastefully appointed accommodations with lots of natural light. Mature landscaping and lovely spaces for outdoor enjoyment were a bonus not to mention a two block walk to the wonderful town of Vashon. This is my new "runaway from home" destination!

rose s.

Yelp
I only wish we could have stayed longer. This was our second stay with you and it was such a delight to open the door and view the minimalist, functional and well designed space. We'll be back!

Yelp
Very cute minimalist lodges located right in the heart of Vashon. They kind of reminded me of shipping containers that got a facelift and a fancy makeover. Great location - walking distance to restaurants and shops. We stayed in the Meadows Suite (Lodge 2), which was a wheelchair accessible unit. I stayed there with my husband, our puppy, and my mother. The lodges are pet friendly - we were supplied with a dog bed, bowls, towels, and biscuit for our puppy. My husband and I shared the main bedroom and my mom stayed in the other nook with a pull out bed. There is a small fridge available to store any drinks or leftovers. The common areas that are shared with other lodge members is very cute - there is a firepit with wood available and lots of seating. There is also an electric fireplace for people who don't want to start a real fire. There are also unique clear domes available that have additional seating that are available to rent. Things to note: The bathroom sink was very small so we ended up using the larger sink in the common area. The only TV was located in the main bedroom and not in the common area so it was not used while we were there. I wish there were doggie poop trash bins and/or bags available around the premises. We obviously carried our own but it would be a nice addition for us doggy parents. Not all units are dog friendly so when you make your reservation, indicate that you will be bringing a dog. There is a small pet charge. We thought the place was really cute and very convenient. It was on the pricey side (~$400/day) which could easily get you a really nice hotel room. However, if you are looking for a Vashon escapade, this might be the perfect place for you!

Yelp
Our firm held a retreat at LOV and we loved it! Great rooms, great facilities, accommodating staff. I'm excited to return next time for fun!

Yelp
Local family with pup here. We needed a getaway from our West Seattle neighborhood that is a complete warzone during the 4th. Last year we rented an airbnb on the island that wasn't available. We did a walk through the Lodge property during our visit and I knew I wanted to stay this year. The Lodges online reservation system showed everything sold out. My husband emailed them direct and we were in LUCK. A lodge was available. We had no issues entering the cabin (#9 - Courtyard Suite). It was exactly as the pictures show. Knowing there was only one sink, I brought along a square Ikea tray to sort all our toiletries. When we needed kitchen prep space all I had to do was move the tray. Perfect! There are wine glasses, plates, tall glasses, and utensils available. We brought our toaster AND a small Lil Smokey weber grill - the holiday was on Monday and nothing was going to be open. We decided to grill up some veg for burritos. Was perfect. Speaking of food...very few restaurants are open on Monday and Tuesday, so plan accordingly. We had no neighbor sound issues as others mentioned. It was quite peaceful. Only downer was that we brought a puzzle to work on - and there was a puzzle in the lodge among the games. But there is no acceptable table to construct the puzzle. Only the floor :/ All in all we had a fantastic time. We love to hit up the various parks and trails. And we always make time to get at least one meal in at The Ruby Brink. Snapdragon is also a MUST for their delicious bakery items.

Yelp
Linda and I headed to the island for a workshop last Saturday and decided to stay on here for a few days after the workshop...It's located a short walking distance from the heart of downtown, such as it is. So restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, etc are all close by. Yet it's back off the road so you get no road noise from traffic. The positives are the cleanliness of this place inside and out. The grounds are well kept. The rooms were spotless. It's a bit of a weird place in that the rooms are like little modular homes or tiny homes. I measured with my big feets..maybe 10-12 feet wide by 30 or so feet long. Ours was a very nice king bed on one side (which surprised me because given my weight and size, 6'3 and 245 pounds o'man..I'm usually disappointed with too soft beds in lodging) with it's own AC unit, a good albeit under equipped kitchen sharing the middle space with a bath/shower and toilet each in their own room with doors. Then a living space with couch, TV, gas fireplace, and another AC unit, then a smaller end space that had a little round table and art and shit. It probably serves as a second bedroom in other options. So all in all we thought the layout was neat and functional. Also the service level if you needed anything...towels, more coffee, etc. was really responsive. What we liked less well were the following. That little living space with a very small table and two goofy chairs, board games, and art? We would have traded all of that for a cooktop and some pots and pans. If you, like us, enjoy making some of your own meals on vacation you're in trouble. You got a microwave so you can reheat but if you want to cook you have to take all your stuff over the the public house and cook over there. And while there are ample pots and pans over there, there's only a two burner hot plate to cook on. That's a pain in the ass...so we adapted..each morning we went and got the hotplate, pans, knives and brought it back to our room so we could make some breakfast, then cleaned and returned it to the public house. So a caution...if you're planning on having longer visits to Vashon and indeed like to cook a bit here and there, this might not be the place...but you will have art and boardgames in your room...oh..and the little round table is so small that when we both needed to get a little work done, only one computer would fit on the table at at time...the other had to work off the coffee table in the living room. And those goofy chairs...cute but not comfortable...enjoy enjoy playing Probe!

Yelp
This place is absolutely gorgeous, and the only reason why I did an overnight on Vashon considering there aren't many lodging options and I am very particular. However, the service and communication we received was less than desirable and is the reason why I will never return. We booked a lodge over memorial day weekend (5/30/21). Upon the 4pm check-in time I tried opening the door with the code given to us. It didn't work, so I tried it another 5 times. It still didn't work so we checked the website to make sure the check-in time was correct. We then called the phone number, no one answered so we left a voicemail. We continued calling/leaving voicemails/trying the door code for the next hour. Not once did anyone pick up or call back during this time. At this point it was already past 5:30pm,  we were discussing/arguing with each other about whether we should wait longer or grab the ferry back since we didn't know when/if we were going to have a place to stay. We decided to grab dinner at least and maybe ask around to see if anyone knew how to contact the owner (with it being a tiny island town the business owners would know each other) and then we would catch the last ferry back if we still couldn't get into our lodge. We had quite a nice dinner at Ruby Brink and asked the waitstaff if they knew the owner(s) of the place and they said their boss did and would message him for us. Towards the end of our meal our waiter came back and said they were able talk to the owner (apparently she had a family emergency come up) and that they had fixed the problem. We then finished up and went back to unlock the lodge, with the exact same code that we had tried over 30 times previously. Miraculously, it worked, but it was now past 8pm by now and we were in no mood to hang out or do anything else after. I understand having a family emergency come up, but when you run a business like this and your customers are having issues accessing their lodge, you need to have some way to fix issues in a timely manner! There are 20 plus lodges and all were fully booked, what if another person had issues? They wouldn't have been able to reach the owner either. I am sure not everyone has issues with their door code and our situation could have been an isolated event. However, I should not have had to go into town and ask around for the owner to resolve the issue. The uncertainty of whether or not we would be able to access our place was even more stressful because the ferry stops service a a certain time and we would've been stuck on the island with no place to stay; it quite frankly ruined the trip for us. To this day we have yet to hear back or get an apology from the owner- I did notice on my bank statement that she gave us 35% off which is a nice gesture, but still does not change our minds about staying here ever again.

Yelp
It's a fantastic place to stay on Vashon. Super modern, efficient, clean, and very comfortable. Walkable to Vashon's downtown and best restaurants and cafes. I can't recommend it enough.

Yelp
Beautiful and relaxing setting with lots of community hangout space. Right in town so you can walk everywhere. Clean and cute rooms.

Yelp
This is a great place to stay on Vashon!!! It's not far from some amazing restaurants, grocery store, and other great Vashon offerings. And the lodges!!! So great!!! We stayed on a cold winter night and kept the fireplace going whenever we weren't sleeping. There's also an amazing shower that could open to outside (with privacy!) in warmer weather. We will DEFINITELY be back again, it was a WONDERFUL experience!

Merlyn S.

Yelp
Overall good, but we got off on a rocky start with our keycode not working. Several calls to the phone and 1 email all of which took 1-1/2 hours before we got into our room. Once there the bed and linens were comfy. I wish the TV had been in the livingroom instead of the bedroom, and only one sink in the kitchen makes it odd for personal hygiene.

Yelp
This lodge is amazing! It's like a modern cabin. Quiet and easy to get to. A short walk to downtown. It's super clean and the bed is very comfortable. The rooms are set up with a code and there isn't a "lobby" to check in at, which I love! Has a condo rental feel. Heated floor in the washroom and deep tub in room 12 is very, very nice. I've stayed in this room a couple times now dig the layout; bedroom on either side of the living room and kitchen. Great for couples who differ in morning routine or have kids or just friends who prefer different beds. The common area are splendid as well. Best place to stay on the island! *guitar and boots in the photo are not included in the room

Yelp
I've heard of medical tourism but never thought I'd be a candidate to navigate resources for myself, especially on my island in The Sound. But, here we are in Covid times. I had a total hip replacement two weeks ago and because of Covid I wasn't able to stay over even one night in the hospital for my recovery. Plus, our bathroom was (and, is still) undergoing a complete remodel so I found myself needing a place to land as soon as we got back to the island after my procedure. I am beyond grateful for The Lodges on Vashon. Their ADA units #1 and #2 are close to the courtyard entrance and have a gently sloping ramp up to both doors. The bathroom is huge with a dropdown bench and a vertically adjustable showerhead. There are plenty of assist bars in the shower area and surrounding the loo. The unit is more than a pod in a courtyard; it's huge! A few friends stopped by in the five days we stayed there. It was so nice to be able to have a place to sit around the fire in the living room to visit. The view from there into the backyard is serene and we saw a few deer grazing in the afternoon sun. They have strategically placed the units for optimum privacy so even with curtains drawn open it felt like we were the only guests there. I hope you don't ever find yourself needing hospital-alternative accommodations but if you do, I cannot give The Lodges on Vashon enough praise!

Yelp
Spent the weekend at The Lodges for a family wedding. What a cute place! Rooms are very modern and have everything you need. Bed is super comfortable. Property is well maintained with plenty of outside space to lounge. It's a five minute walk to town. But, yet you feel like you are staying at a little secluded oasis. Just charming! Would love to come back!

Yelp
I always enjoy my stay here. Every Lodge is unique in its own way, and always welcoming. Cozy, quiet and relaxing. A great place to clear your mind and take a hot bath.

Yelp
We absolutely loved the Lodges on Vashon. Clean, comfortable, quite, convenient. They were very responsive to our requests (blankets, general questions etc.) and our couple of encounters with staff were friendly. You can walk to everything... coffee, baked goods, multiple lunch and dinner spots, music in the park, etc. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Wonderful two night stay. Walking distance to town with food/shops/park and beautiful hotel grounds for playing outside with the kids. Loved having the queen bedroom with the door and the kid room with the curtain so we had our own space. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
We arrived March 6 for a two day stay. There was NO service. No one to greet us or show us around. No one to give us the code to get into our room and we only had until 4pm to get in. I sent an email at 3 followed by many many voicemails. We were unable to reach anyone. Without the help of the bartender in the nearby pub, we'd have had to just leave. The grounds are lovely and we found the cottage bright clean and cheerful. My initial image changed though upon settling in. Where to put the luggage?.. I guess the window seat in the main room. The closet wasn't really available as it had a broom and ironing board. We had about six inches to use. There was no vanity with sink. Everything, cosmetics, toothbrushes, husbands shaver, hair brush, dryer etc had to be put on the kitchen counter. Teeth had to be brushed in the kitchen sink, the only sink. There was no table or counter to put clothes on in the shower room; just a stool. The toilet was nearly scary. It was in a very small room of its own with only a toilet brush and a hygiene container. No pictures,.. nothing on the wall, nothing. We had one very small trash container and nowhere on the grounds to dump it as it filled very fast. And we were never able to get the TV to work. Dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand sanitizer were available but none were marked. Had to test each container to identify what we had. We had just come from another lodge and the contrast was stunning. But the bed was comfortable. Lodges on Vashon was not inexpensive. I expect more for my $195 per. We will not be back.

Yelp
What a great find on Vashon Island. The Lodges was a beautiful cozy retreat. Stayed in the Meadows suite. Watched a family of deers roaming outside our window view. The room was clean and simply decorated. Liked the keyless entry and checkout. Didn't have to wait for anyone, just followed the text. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay on Vashon Island.

Yelp
The venue is gorgeous. It's a number of mid-size trailer/modular single-wides that are about 8x30' and are basically small apartments. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there's several areas where groups can hang out together that are fantastic little spaces. Best part is that pets are allowed; we didn't know this when we first came but will definitely be bringing our dog with us next time. HIGHLY recommended, spoke with the people who run it and they're cool as well. We came as a large group to celebrate a friend's birthday but my husband and I very much hope to come again. It's right near downtown Vashon within walking distance of everything, and was an amazing experience.

Yelp
All in all a wonderful place with a very Vashon unique boutique feel. The feeling was very local and handcrafted from the local coffee to the wonderful soaps and creams. The setting gives a very indoor/outdoor feel and the common areas provide an additional plus. I also love the modern aesthetic. There are a few minor quibbles though as it seemed that not everything was thought out in terms of function. As others note, there is only one sink due to Vashon rules. I understand the lodges can't do anything about that, but the rule itself does not solve a problem that I can see. Is it to constrain water usage? If so how does having one sink change anything? One had to work to get the soap back into the handcrafted soap dish in the shower -- resulting in wasted water. The bedroom door and the bedroom closet door interfered with each other. No stand for luggage. I was there for a work retreat and the work room and common kitchen worked nicely. The minor issues I mention are the only thing holding me back from giving five stars.

Yelp
We found the Lodge(s) to be perfect. Austere but strangely welcoming. Decor was simple and rather eclectic. The bed was wonderful, everything was very clean and the Nordic efficiency vibe was pretty cool. My wife kept referring to our unit as 'The Pod'. All in all I would highly recommend. Will be back.

Yelp
Really nice stay at Lodges on Vashon. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well appointed. Weather was lousy outside but the rooms were nice and toasty. Walking distance to town and great restaurants.

Yelp
Our first time at The Lodges was an overall success! There was a disclaimer that all check-in/check-out times are unchangeable so as to give them ample time to properly clean during COVID. We appreciated how clean the cabin was! Overall, the cabin was modern and timeless. Some very small downsides are: 1 sink for the entire cabin/there's no separate bathroom sink, the gas fireplace is on a timer, there wasn't a shower curtain and you can see into the bathroom, and the tv is in the bedroom/not in the living room. We had one issue during our stay, and the manager was wonderful and very responsive via email/phone. All in all, it was super relaxing being there and the walk into town every morning was lovely. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have nothing but good things to say about the Lodges! Our recent stay was great. The accommodations were luxurious and calming with a soft grey and white color theme. Lovely bed!! And the staff was great. I had made a mistake in my reservation and booked a meeting room instead of an overnight but Kriss fixed things in a jiffy and was so nice about it! Location is great-walking distance to downtown Vashon. I will definitely return!
