Loft 94

One of my favorite places to eat inside the jamul casino. Make sure you come the first two hours they open because there is a happy hour appetizers. A great place to watch the game or watch since you’re up above the casino. They also have great views of the jamul Valley. I recommend: the sushi rolls, ouchi eggs, Tokyo sticky wings, and the build your own bowl.

There is much to say about this location but I will try to keep it short and simple. The food is just delicious! I typically go for the noodles and a roll, with the option to make it spicy, it’s nice. I love my food spicy! The customer service here is always above and beyond, which is enough of a reason to keep returning. Try to note the days they are open so that you don’t make a trip all the way here for nothing :) The vibe is also chill if you want to hang. I have been noticing lots of updates to the restaurant that are subtle yet appealing. Definitely recommend you come check it out.

Update: 6/2021 Came back out to the Loft post pandemic to be greeted with a professional staff and personally greeted by Hector who insured our hospitality would be a 5 star visit. Nothing but great vibes and relaxed atmosphere out on the deck. If you are looking for a first date spot or an anniversary spot, make this your choice. The Loft 94 is now the best hybrid sports bar lounge & Japanese grill. There is no other comparison in East County. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the new Japanese menu options. Look at the quality food options!!!

Cool rooftop hang out spot with an indoor/outdoor feel. The food is a fusion mixture of Korean/Japanese/Asian cuisine. We made a reservation for 6 people for outdoor seating because there’s only two corner lounge area that could seat a large group outside. It had a nice view. We ordered: -Chicken karaage - I thought it was popcorn chicken -Gyoza - can’t go wrong with this -Tokyo sticky wings - pretty good -Spam musubi - too much rice -Sensei roll - description looks better than how it taste. Didn’t taste any blue crab. -Korean bento box -the braised beef was a bit tough to break apart and needed flavor so we dipped it into the sauce that came with the tempura shrimp. -Tropic mango drink - this came blended and taste like mango lassi -Lemon grass coconut mojito - my favorite. Refreshing. There’s a live deejay that played really good 90s music on this night. There’s billiards table on the other side and tv screens for all the televised games. The only downside would be not having a table. We had to pull chairs over to be closer to the fire pit to use it as a table. The fire pit also had difficulty and couldn’t turn on so we had the heat lamps instead.

I have MIXED reviews. either we came right when they were turning over shifts but we waited TOO long for a table and the place was empty -no one knew how to do someone else's job. The manger was there and a guy we asked went to ask him what time happy hour was over and he said 6... they open at 5 and it stops at 7pm but once we got our waiter(s) a younger guy with someone shadowing him- they made it all better. They actually knew what they were doing and did their job well. Food was okay-good. Mushrooms were okay. We really liked the kaarage chicken we disliked the spicy garlic edamame. I got a lobster handroll and don't think it was worth it. The tofu was good. And the views were great.

I heard they got a new chef and needed to give it another try. About 4 years ago this place had great ramen surprisingly, but this was probably chef dependent. A year ago no good; broth and everything was basically worst than top ramen, but i am glad they are back on course!. I got the spicy dandan noodles this time lvl 4/5 Not gonna lie this was spicy, but i can tell there was flavor. So grab a 3 if you like spice and flavor without tears. Broth: 10/10 Spicy lvl: on point Noodles: 10/10 Egg: 10/10 soft boiled and well seasoned Veggies 8/10 not sure about the corn tbh because it just sinks to the bottom, but the rest fit well. My dish did not come with meat, ill give the pork belly tonkotsu a try next.

I came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon. During a bingo tournament. They had us come back after 5 PM when all of the bingo people we're checked in. The hostess remembered us and greated us kindly once more. We sat outside because the weather was nice. We were going to order a meal, but since we arrive just at the beginning of happy hour, she suggested we give those options a try... So glad we listened to her, the sticky wings are to die for. All of the happy hour options are very tasty. We ordered one of each, and we were not disappointed. We will be coming back for more!

Place has a cool vibe. You have a mountain Vista (during the day) and fire pits on patio. Live music in the evening. They have a good local beer selection ($7/beer) interesting cocktail list but a little sweet for my taste. ($9/cocktail) the table service is always a little slow and I suggest you order drinks at the bar. Loft 94 is located on mezzanine level so it over looks casino and has a few slots as well. There is a pool table. Handicap accessible elevator is in back corner of non-smoking area, it's really easy to miss but trust me it there...

Had the best experience celebrating my 21st birthday here! The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing, but Chef Greg, Alan, and Colin made it extra special, they went above and beyond to make the night unforgettable. From the top tier service to the great energy around the table, everything was perfect. Huge thank you to the entire staff for hosting my family and friends and making it such a memorable night. Couldn't have asked for a better way to turn 21!

This is my go to spot when I have to hang out with my dad. He does the casino and I hang out at the bar. The service has been great and I've met a few friendly people at the bar. The menu has changed a few times but I do recommend the happy hour during the first 2 hours of opening if you want to try all their appetizers.

No doubt this place is beautiful, the aesthetics are stunning and the vibe is cool as hell. They have a DJ, (not sure if it's only on weekends) a pool table, serve food, ginormous TV's to watch sports on, a full size bar and the coolest thing ever, they serve hookah! Seating on the inside and option balcony seating. Casino just right below the escalator's. I really wanted to give this restaurant a 10/10 but the food is where it fell short for me. I have had their sushi in the past, which was pretty good and I heard their ramen is good too. I came in at 10:30pm, tried to order Yakitori pork ribs (which was unavailable, they stop serving it after a certain time they said) Was recommended loft fries, so I ordered that, a red dragon roll and gyudon bowl. It took about a half hour for my food, I came up and to my surprise, they didn't have my sushi roll. Apparently they stop making sushi at a certain time too. Not going to lie, I was most excited about that. Took my food home and I was very disappointed. My fries were good but didn't have much on it. A few pieces of meat that braised the top and the rest was Literally a box of fries. For $20 I would have assumed it woulda been LOADED fries, with a decent amount of protein. My gyudon, def not gyudon. It was more of a Korean bbq flavor. Meat was dry and the quality was just not appetizing, portion was small too, it was more of a snack. That ran me about $13. I felt like I wasted money, huge heartbreak! Very underwhelmed over the food and the fact that they didn't have what I wanted available. They close at midnight, so you would assume they would have everything on their menu still being served. Overall, staff is really nice, the restaurant is gorgeous and looks like the perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends. I'll give it another try, and order something else. If all fails at least there's alcohol! Lol CHEERS!

Conveniently located on top of Jamul casino Asian yakitori eatery and full service bar serving small plates and noodles menu and cocktails. Nicely decorated, roomy and clean tables inside looking down the action floor or outside open air gazing at the beautiful full moon over the Jamul valley. Thee are nice heaters outside to sit by. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for a friend. Staff is warm and relax. Life is short just take it easy. Huge screens for watching sports. No smoking smell is a huge plus.

We were staying at Jamul and wanted dinner. We have eaten here before, so why not. We were greeted by Liz and seated right away by Winter whom also was out waitress. Me and my husband were vibing to the Dj playing music. Winter took our order and received our food quickly. Everything was delicious.

The food at Loft 94 is always fresh! The pickled cabbage is one of my favorites, the sushi is packed with flavor, and the fried prawns will leave you wanting more. The custom ramen bowl is unlike any other, with endless options to make it exactly how you like. On top of the great food, the people truly make the experience. Management staff Alan and bartenders Jessenia and Brandon go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. They work together like family, and it really shows.

My hats to the chef! The atmosphere and service was only the cherry on the cakes. A must stop next time we come to Casino.

I love this place! Their eel nigiri is aaaamazinggg! It's large cuts of eel on top of rice but it's so filling for nigiri pieces and so worth the price. ($11 2 pcs) Ok I had to start off with my most favorite food item there. lol. Other items I do love is the ouchi eggs, the flavors on it just pops in your mouth and it's just so good! lol. Deep fried half eggs with so many flavors, you have to try it! They also are on happy hour which is great! Happy hour is only within the first two hours of being opened with a handful of selected appetizers to choose from. Service is usually pretty good. Josh the bartender I usually see whenever I'm there and he's awesome! One of the friendlier employees there. The hostess and some servers can be a little more cheerful tho and talk less amongst each other when people are waiting to be seated as I've observed many times.. The ambience is wonderful, you can sit watching big flat screen tvs, inside or outside the patio for a wonderful view of the mountains. It's wonderful day and night

The food is amazing here. We come here as much as possible. The service is also good. The ambience is romantic.

My favorite place to eat at Jamul! The restaurant is upstairs and you can sit inside or outside on the balcony. TV screens everywhere plus DJ too. 5 stars for the lobster tail yakitori! I saw another Yelper review stating the lobster was dry and not great, and so I was hesitant to get it, but it's been 10/10 the majority of times I've been there. Only once that it was 7/10. The chicken wings also delish, but just a little too sweet for me. Ramen and udon were good too. Salmon nigiri is hit or miss. But overall good quality and great experience every time.

Calamares,was ok because i love my calamares crispy,my hubby love the Modelo Draf Beer. And i want to said to the Dj thanks you because we ask to play salsa and he play almost 40 minutes the Salsa for us and spme customer star dancing. Was a very good nigth at the Jamul casino. Ider if y lose my money :(

Jessenia is amazing! She's always patient and professional , even when juggling a packed bar and a ton of restaurant drink orders. She keeps everything running smoothly and still takes the time to make guests feel welcome.

Went to Loft 94 recently for a friend's birthday dinner and we had such a great time! The food was sooo delicious and the atmosphere was super chill. Chef Greg really worked his magic, every dish came out so flavorful. I ordered the Volcano Roll and it was chef's kiss. Our server Colin was super sweet and attentive the whole time, and Alan the manager even checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely will be coming back!

Super happy with my visit! The food was so good especially the pickled cabbage, it's my favorite! Big shoutout to our server Tanner, he was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Also want to give a special mention to Manager Alan for going above and beyond! He helped me with my rewards concern, personally walked me to the rewards booth, and even assisted me when I lost my phone. Seriously, such amazing customer service. I've been here two times, the food is amazing last time they gave us complementary Asian salad like trio, it was delicious. I got a House salad súper good, the manager checked on us and the serves were super friendly. They have a DJ with an amazing music that makes a relax ambience . I do recommend this place. Great job everyone!

I used to love this Ramen place but yesterday, was very disapointed when Inreceived my Ronin ramen it was first a super weird presentation and the cumin smell was very noticeable I ate first the egg and it was cold touch the other egg as well cold the green side as well, I pointed out this to the waitress and they took my plate back put it in a microwave and eat it up it came back a little hotter but still the smell of cumin was strong started to inspect the meat and it's a very big piece of chunk of meat had to go online and check again The Ronin Ramen and it said short rib, this was definitely not short rib as if the meat from the birria was put in my Ramen I returned everything except the Dr Peppe. The Waitress was very Kind and try to help but this was one of my favorite places to eat Ramen.

What can we say the service is very consistent and just awesome experience when you have the outstanding bar duo of Brandon and Jessenia this team is always there making sure you're well taking cared of... One of the great spots in town for a view of the country side in Jamul along with enjoying food. This is an Asian based eatery at the top of Jamul Casino. Sushi, appetizers, and cocktails were all enjoyable. This may be my go to spots in the future just because of the ambiance and food. They had a full bar and a DJ playing early 2000s jams on a Saturday late afternoon into the evening. First two hours of opening is usually happy hour prices.

Colin and Aldo are the best people here at Love Loft 94 at Jamul Casino: has such good service and Aldo is the best manager ever. We will come back here every time we have not seen such good service like this in a long time. We are so happy we came here for my niece's 25th birthday and we will come back many more times we are called and we love these people thank you Aldo and Colin.

Been here a few times for both their buffets and their regular meals. I would say the regular meals are not too bad! They have a large menu and have tons of different asian appetizers, soups, and sushi rolls. I thought the sushi was decent, nothing too crazy. This place really shines when I come for the buffets! They have sashimi, sushi, lobster, crab, steak, desserts, and soooo much more. I know the buffets are only certain times of the month and you probably need a players card. Also cant forget how amazing the views are from this place!! The outdoor seating is so nice and i love sitting out there during sunset times (even though you cant totally see it, its still a lovely view).

Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Everything was perfect! This is a little oasis in this casino. I can't praise this place enough. Our server Jesse was attentive and helpful. Can't wait to come back!

Love Loft 94!! Food is always fresh and amazing. We were going about once a week for awhile. And service is always great. Try the loft fries and you won't regret it.

Felt like spending some time at Jamul casino and wanted to have a good meal as well. This place did not disappoint. My ONLY complaint would be that it's open concept is right above the smoking section and I could smell that during my whole meal. However the service made up for it. Melissa and Jessica were GEMS. Took care of everything that we needed and checked on us frequently. Food was delicious! Will be coming back again

I really enjoyed my experience at Loft 94. It's a great spot in Jamul Casino to get some delicious food. The service there was pretty good. It wasn't too busy because we went on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately it was already dark by the time we got in, but I'm sure the views during sunset would be amazing. The terrace was beautiful with large fire pits, heaters, and comfy couches. The food was great. I ordered the Mazeman Ramen with Pork Belly. We also had the Ouchi Eggs (SO GOOD), the wings, and Shishido peppers. The ramen was good, nothing very unique, but a solid choice. The pork belly was juicy and real fatty. The wings were pretty good and worth ordering as an appetizer. The drinks we ordered from the bar were not the greatest, but cheaper than if you ordered at the bar down in the casino.

I gave it a 3 because the fried tofu with sweet chili sauce was amazing!! The service was not so great. Went on a Friday night! Overall casino was amazing and we came here to grab an App and do hookah. The waiter at bar was not very friendly and seemed like we were Bothering him. The hookah did not have very good flavor and it took them a long time to bring it over. We sat at the bar and it was our first time here and it just wasn't a great, fun experience as we thought. Will not go again. Maybe just for the fried tofu.

Went back to loft 94 and why is it so different? Everything was slow: the time it took to get a table, the time it took for a server, the wait for our drinks and food, waiting on the bill....waiting on change. The servers were all standing in a circle including the manager, chatting it up. It felt like nobody was working. What happened to that female manager??? She was great and i remember she even came by to check on us...but not this guy. He didn't even care. Pretty bad experience.

Loved the soup but the other food we ordered needs improvement. Needs more flavor. The server made us feel rushed to order because she's taking her break soon. So we couldn't really check the menu. It's a nice place and clean. Try going on here happy hour. Would try again hopefully we won't be rushed ordering.

We ate at Loft 94 this past week and it was a great experience! The outdoor patio was very comfortable with the heat lamps and the view was amazing. We ordered the Tokyo Sticky Wings and the Loft fries with shirt steak to start. Both were so good, I highly recommend them! And then we had the Crunchy Roll and Baja Roll. Everything was fresh, our food came out quickly and the service was great. We will definitely be back soon!

I will definitely be coming back here! Everything we had was flavored with unique and bold flavors and cooked to perfection. The wings were to die for! Sweet and tender, I could have just eaten that for dinner. We also had the ramen which had a huge slice of tasty pork belly (my fav!) and a beautifully cooked hard boiled egg. I highly recommend the five spice brownie. It sounds strange but it works and it was chocolate gooey deliciousness with vanilla ice cream. What made everything even more delicious was the unexpected views of the rolling hills off to the east during dusk! Never knew you could get a view like that at a casino. The restaurant was spacious and peaceful on the balcony with the biggest heat lamps I've ever seen.

This is the third spot I've tried here at Jamal Casino and AGAIN it's a WINNER!!! (Short haired) Server Taylor?? Was pretty awesome and friendly, knew her menu well! Had the Fried tofu which was good,, bento appetizer sampler which was TASTY!, and the lobster roll which was pretty good too! The only bad thing was the Bento got there WAY after the others so we had to sit there and watch each other eat instead of eating together.... I guess on weekends Military Vets get a complimentary plate and mine was backed up because of that. It's definitely a go to spot at the casino for next time!!! I didn't take pix of the food but all 3 looked GOOD!!!!

Loft 94 was the perfect spot to end our night at Hollywood casino recently. Go up the escalator and you're in for a treat. Drinks, sushi, ramen, hookah, all the things I love! We had just eaten dinner, so no food for us. Drinks and hookah were what we wanted. After being seated, it took pretty long for someone to acknowledge our table. A total of 30 minutes to be exact. The place wasn't busy and had a lot of employees just standing around so I was a little confused. After our orders were finally taken, we got our drinks and hookah bowl in a much better time frame. The drinks were all really good and the hookah bowl was great. They don't come around and change your charcoal, they just give you a roll to change it yourself. Fine with me! Besides the delay in taking our order, we still enjoyed our time here. The ambiance is very nice and they have plenty of seating. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I would definitely come back to loft 94 for hookah and drinks. Maybe food next time!

I cannot wait to come back! The food was unbelievable and the service and atmosphere did not disappoint! I had the build your own bento box and the serving size is enormous but so delicious I couldnt help but eat it all! Highly highly recommend!

Out in the middle of nowhere sits the Jamul Casino. Believe me, you can't miss it. And in that casino sits Loft 94. The Mrs. and I had dinner there on Wednesday night. We arrived at the casino shortly after 6 and made our way to Loft 94. Loft 94 sits at the far end of the Jamul Casino and overlooks the countryside. We were seated at a table right on the edge of the patio and had an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside. Honestly, it was a beautiful view. James arrived to take our order. He seemed to rush us at first, but slowed down after a while. Loft 94's menu offers Asian in nature, which doesn't seem to jive with the name of the restaurant. The menu offers everything from Ramen to Yakitori, to bento, and yes, Sushi. I'm always amazed when I find good Sushi, or even good seafood in general, out in the middle of nowhere. We decided to stick with Sushi. We started off with the Red Dragon Roll. Which was put together with shrimp tempura, cucumber, spicy tuna, Tobiko(flying fish roe), green onions, and spicy mayo. Then we moved on to the Sensei Roll. It was beautifully put together with Blue Crab, avocado, cucumber, seared Albacore tuna, ginger ponzu, and green onion. We wrapped things up(pun intended) with the Crunchy Roll. It consisted of shrimp tempura, Krab(imitation crab meat), cucumber, avocado, crunchy tempura flakes, and topped with eel sauce. The only thing that bugged me was that the Sushi was unevenly sliced. Some pieces were bigger than others, which can make it difficult to eat, however; we really enjoyed. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. My experience with casino hospitality workers is they tend to want to push you out and get the table turned as soon as possible. The hours of operation that Yelp has listed are incorrect according to Loft 94's website and according to that site, the hours of operation are: Sun - Tue: CLOSED Wed & Thur: 5PM - 10PM Fri: 5PM - 1AM Sat: 3PM - 1AM

The food was great but what made it better was our service. Our servers name was Winter and she exceeded beyond expectations. She made us feel well taken care of on a busy night and constantly checked up on us to make sure we weren't forgotten.

3 stars for food; 4 stars for view and service. Had the ramen and it was good. Nice selection of craft beer.

Can't tell you how the food was because we never had a chance to eat. Place was fairly empty - we were seated and watched servers attend other tables but they never stopped to help us. We sat for 25 mins then got up and left. Too bad, so sad...

The Loft 94 was very nice for us. We had a peaceful dinner as we sat by the railing. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to leave the city for the evening. Driving to Jamul was perfect! You do want to make reservations for this place. The Patio is open air so bring a light jacket. They have a lounge area where they play live music, they also have a billiard table. But the best part was our food of course! We had our favorites, the plate that took the show was the Korean Chicken Sandwich!! What a sandwich!! Must try! We also loved the Seared Scallops, we had sushi and the Tokyo Stick Wings. All of these were great, but must try the Scallops and the Korean Chicken Sandwich for sure! Enjoy!!

I brought my wife and my sister in law to this place to try their food and we ordered 3 Surf and turf for each one of us and a chicken karaage as our appetizer. Their food was good but it wasn't satisfying enough for your money. Their serving size was small than I thought. The haft lobster tail grilled stick was small like small a shrimp and we waited about 30 minutes for our food after we ordered. I like the ambiance and the view. But I don't think we will come back to eat here again.
