Logan's Roadhouse

I work at the hospital here in Cookeville. Today was my only day off in 9 days. I asked my husband if he would please get me a steak, and he did here at the local Logan’s. I ordered the porterhouse with sides. $54. This was, without a doubt, the worst steak I’ve ever had. It was all fat. I’m so tired of subpar takeout. I thought Logan’s would be better than this.

Called in on our way to the smokies. Yummy steak, very tender and extremely yummy cocktails, recommend the peach tea.. thanks to Justin our host with the most and to Riley for the delish drinks and grill masters Eric and Davis.

Logan's restaurant was awesome. The staff and their service were very attentive and friendly. We really had a great experience and the food was very delicious 😋 plentiful and great taste. We had the ribs, steaks, and the teriyaki chicken. Every dish was cooked to perfection 👌. We will definitely come back for more.

Great service and was seated as soon as we walked in. The food was amazing. Will come back for more . Loved the country fried steak 😋 and the house salad . Our waitress was very kind and kept checking in on us but never while we had food in our mouths lol .

Great experience at Logan's Roadhouse. First time visiting and won't be the last. Had Loganoff Storganoff. Went on a Tuesday night. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Seated quickly. Wait staff was great and attentive. Portion size to price was good. Food came out just right for temperature, not too hot or cold. Overall, it was a great experience!

It was really hot on the bike but it was cool inside. The country fried steak was thick and juicy, my ground steak was really good and the salads hit the spot. The broccoli was actually warm and delicious..

The food was incredible. Service was wonderful. Justin is an amazing asset to the business. He took great care of us during our visit. Prop’s also to the chefs Davis and Courtney. Our food was well prepared and just as ordered. Thanks to all for a great meal and visit.

My husband and I love going to Logan's! Food is always great, and issues (if any) are well handled. Service can be a bit slow at times, but not enough to not justify the trip.

Yes! A thousand times yes...Now let me give you the reason why. Cayleigh... for one. She is just one of the amazing staff you will find here. The food is always fresh and hot. The flavors from any of the dishes are amazing. My husband ordered the grilled chicken salad, but as you can see, it is enough for two easily! I had the teriyaki grilled chicken with steamed broccoli for both my sides. Yes, they have broccoli that taste that good! We've tried just about all the appetizers, and they are all nice portions, so plenty to share. They do have a full bar that you can sit at, or they have booths to sit at as well. I will have to say anytime an issue came up with our order, which happens sometimes no matter where you go, they take care of you here. They really appreciate their customers!

We loved it here. Food was good and the service was impeccable. The menu had great choices and the atmosphere was inviting.

Miranda the evening Mgr at Logans Manchester is amazing. I was so sick and my husband drove me an hour forty five mins to get there to get Logans mashed potatoes and they were out. Miranda made me the VERY BEST POTATOES I HAVE EVER EATEN out of baked potatoes. Thank you to the best Mgr Logans has

Logans used to be my favorite for YEARS! Stopped here traveling and what a disappointment. Waited forever. Steak overcooked. Forgot shrimp. Had to wait. French fries cold and stale. Probably 4 bites of mashed potatoes under hamburger steak with hint of gravy. 2 adults and 2 kids shared a meal. $90

We brought mom here tonight to celebrate her . He ordered potato skins with the works for an appetizer. She ordered the Fried Fish ; he ordered the Cheese Burger; and I ordered the Coastal South Carolina Shrimp with Caesar salad and rice. The potato skin appetizer picked up by another server and given the another table. So our waiter had to place our appetizer order again. Our waiter(the bartender)was good . Salad dressing was too heavy on both salads. Mesquite grilled Shrimp was perfect. Mom's fish was overcooked. The steamed broccoli was overcooked. His cheese burger was a little overcooked. But still good. Overall a decent experience.

I will never forgive my girlfriend for taking me here to cheer me up after my car crash. This restaurant is psychologically damaging.

Normally I give places a second chance but I wont be back here again to do so. i ordered a medium pink center steak. I was picking up to go, so I didn't notice how bad it was until I got home and saw that my steak wasnt even cooked at all. This aint even rare, its raw. As you can see in the pictures the meat is absolutely RAW. And i had eaten it abit off the "cooked" edges before noticing how bad it was and opened up the meat nd saw how raw it was inside. Either the cook is completely inexperienced or they just didnt care to cook the steak properly. But this was not even a "rare" steak. It was raw. Uncooked. The cook in my opinion isn't experienced or they just didnt care to cook it properly. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. i paid over $40 dollars for a steak I couldnt even eat.

It's a chain, food is average!! Servers treat it as a job!! Not bad for a chain!! Don't expect to much, better than McDonalds!!

Great meal with fast service. Consistency in food quality!!! I recommend stopping in for dinner. They do a great job.

Teryaki chicken n rice is always perfectly cooked and seasoned! Fun place to go with n Game Day too!

We went today and had a delicious meal. Our waiter was very friendly and welcoming. Our food was tasty as always. I highly recommend the mesquite wood grilled salmon with a rice pilaf, Caesar salad, and a loaded baked potato. The employees were wearing masks, and the guests were being seated apart from others. Something we really liked was that even the cow by the door was wearing a mask. The kids got a kick out of that.

Delicious salmon & sweet potato love them !!Mesquite Wood Grilled Salmon is the best !! And the waitress was excellent!!

We are at Logan's in texas and it was wonderful. This was not a great experience at this location. The wait staff was pleasant but the food was hit or miss. The first basket is bread was not fully cooked. It was like the take and bake rolls at the store. The replacement was very good. We ordered a medium rare and medium steak. The rare was under Cooked and the medium was Medium well. We also had fried chicken that was over fried. It tasted fine but not great. The soups and salads were good but it was a disappointing experience for a steak house.

Came for dinner , service slow for them having a basically empty parking lot. Anyways food came, was pretty good, got the bill after hubs plate taken and she wanted my plate before I was done, and hubs was beyond shocked that his 22 oz Miller lite was $12.00, and they charged us $6 for the crappy little dinner rolls.$70 for dinner for ??? No wonder the parking lot is empty and all the others are full

We ordered the onion rings (new item) off the fireside menu, and when they arrived, what we received was a semi greasy lump of fried onions on the plate. There were a couple of solo pieces, but most of the onion was a fused lump that resisted separation. We asked the server to take it back for a replacement, but he explained that that is how they cooked them there. We asked they remove them as we were expecting separate pieces of onion, similar to what was pictured...how disappointing. For my meal I ordered the fried fish...which was basically fish and chips (I had ordered the same dish last week that was yummy). Apparently the fish was fried in old or burnt oil, as it had a bad, burned after taste. By that point I didn't want bother our server again, as he was nice, efficient and apologetic for the onion ring debacle. My wife had a steak salad that was huge and awesome (according to her)

My husband and I were here on Saturday night. He ordered a steak medium. When it came it was nearly raw. Sent it back to be cooked. We were finished with our entire meal before they brought it back. It was over done..smelled burned. No discount or apologies or any other type of compensation was offered. We will not return.

Oh it hurts when we adventure to a new restaurant and it isn't as good as we had hoped. Our waitress, fantastic! Great job. Where it falls flat, is the cook. My ribeye was really good. There was a spinach cheese type sauce that tasted like it might have had lime in it. Did not go well together. (remember, for me and my tastes). Others might like that combo. But the steak was good very well (medium rare, closer to rare) and soft, with little gristle, and not overly fatty. I ate half, my son ate the other half. Unfortunately, my son ordered the t-bone steak and it was so bad that he took three bites and just said "no, mom". So we took it home so my husband can chop it up and mix it with something else. The Potato soup was decent, not overly thick, and I enjoyed it. The spinach artichoke was good. The buns are slightly too sweet for me, as opposed to the warm savory, non-sweet dinner buns I prefer. I am sure they have many excellent items that taste great on most nights, we unfortunately did not have our meal on one of those nights. We may or may not try again. We usually give a place two tries before we say "no more". But if you go, and you try something that is fantastic, please, please, please send me a message and let me know what it is, and we might go back and give it a try.

Placed a order on Uber Eats first order got canceled the second time I order I got the wrong food. Avoid this place

I'm a burger kind of guy. Our first time at this restaurant, and I will be back. Service was very good, waitress was prompt and very pleasant. Service was pretty fast. My burger was good sized, and very tasty. Prices were on par with other similar restaurants. I will go back again when I'm in the Cookeville area.

This was my first time going to a Logan Restaurant and I must say I was well pleased. The food was amazing. There wasn't a wait time to be seated and it didn't take a long time to get my food. Everything was hot and fresh. I highly recommend dinning here!!

l gave one star because you can't give negative ratings, it probably deserves negative ten. I got the potato soup, tasted like it went bad, friend got the salad, dirty lettuce and really dry chicken. Kids' burger was smaller then my already thinning patience for this place. Soda was watered down, chips were stale and soggy. They order of fries were less then a handful. Overall not great experience, service was nice but they only came to take our order and give the check.

Had a bad experience here around a year ago. So I stopped going. Decided to give it a try today..... I was seated, I waited 14 minutes and nobody asked me what I wanted to drink or acknowledged my presence. I got up and walked out. I stopped by the host stand and informed her there was a reason the parking lot was empty. It's a shame the place has went down hill. It was my favorite for years.

Came here after the titans game with my friend, had been on the road for hours and we both were starving and really looking forward to a nice burger. Came here expecting to get one since I've always liked Logan's , instead we were both served two extremely overcooked and dry burgers, with stale buns as hard as a rock. The waitress was fine, didn't have a problem with the service but overall extremely disappointed in my experience here, will not be coming back.

The worst food I have ever had. The prime rib was very tough and had large amount of connective tissue in it. The au jus was just regular beef broth. The Red wine mushroom had no flavor and NO hint of ever coming in contact with red wine. The waiter tried but was so forgetful and we had to ask twice for several things. Over-all the sweet potato was the best item on the plate.

Bad experience all the way around. Burned burger. Undercooked steak but tough as nails. Poor response by management. Will not be going back.

We ordered a full rack of ribs and the new appetizer chicken wings. They didn't bring the sauce that was suppose to come with it so we had to ask. The 'ribs only' were charged as a full meal so we had to bring that to the attention of the server. She corrected the problem.....but we shouldn't of had to bring it up in the first place. My husband had to ask for the fresh rolls too. We started eating the chicken wings and realized we didn't have napkins or silverware. WE HAD TO ASK. My Southern Hurricane drink was listed to have Southern Comfort, Bacardi Rum with fresh fruit. Honestly, if it was suppose to only have the two alcohols and fresh fruit, I should of tasted alcohol . It's was so sweet. It tasted like punch and my fresh fruit was a slice of orange and Maraschino cherry and not a whole one at that. I didn't know that falls under fresh fruit. I was generous with the two stars due to the fact the wings and ribs were very good. I believe the server we had in the bar had to many tables. She was walking as fast as she could and think if she could run through the restaurant she would have. An extra person on a Saturday night would of been a great help to her.

We ordered from Doordash and after waiting almost an hour we were informed that someone else picked up the order. It had to be remade. When we received it, we were missing something and the food was cold. We also ordered rolls and literally got RAW DOUGH!! This is beyond ridiculous!!

We decided to go for lunch at Logan's today since it had been awhile. I ordered a half rack of ribs with bbq baked beans and cold slaw for my 2 sides. Oh my goodness. My choices turned out to be excellent and I want to go back for more. My friend ordered the Twisted chicken fingers, mac & cheese and the bbq backed beans. The chicken at many places around here is tough, dry and no flavor. I could not believe how tender the chicken was and how light the breading was and so so good!! I recommend you go by and give Logan's a try. Oh and I brought 1/2 rack ribs dinner home for my husband and he too said how good the ribs were. Yummm!!!!

We had the worst service that we've had in a long time. The server was not attentive to our drinks nor did she place our food order correctly.

My wife and I had our anniversary there last night (03/12/20) I had the create you own and had steak with chicken on rice, mashed potatoes with gravy and a Caesar salad, my wife had ribeye with baked potatoe and a Caesar salad. Salads came quick and tasted as they should, the main course came piping hot and tasted great. Server was helpful and observant and we would recommend this restaurant to our friends anytime. Great place.

We were able to be seated quickly on Sunday afternoon. The service was friendly, the food was mediocre at best.

This is the worst customer service I've ever had, I waited over an hour for my food that was ordered ToGo and when they brought it to me it was cold and everything was mushy from sitting in the containers. definitely not worth the money!!!

My friend and I ordered 6 oz sirloin, medium. What we got was a little ball if meat that was so tough, it couldn't be cut, let alone eaten. We were very disappointed. We won't eat there again.

Horrible confession on my part. We eat at a ton of Logan's. What can I say? I love a good yeast roll! We stopped at this Logan's on our way home from Christmas with the family; so I was very concerned about service, selection, speed, etc. You would have never known it was any other day. Everything flowed as wonderfully as it usually does. Food is great. Service is great. It's easy to get in and out of quickly!

Had to wait over an hour to receive our food. We had to also watch people that came in way after us, receive their food before us. horrible!

If you're looking for a fast food restaurant or a chain restaurant there's no better place to come that alongside the interstate in Cookeville. Every chain you could think of is crammed into a one mile section here. Logan Roadhouse is one of dozens. Why come here vs any of the others? I'm not sure. The service is below average (it took 10 minutes for someone to come by and claim our table) and the food is your average chain food. Meanwhile, the bar are does have awesome flatscreens to watch games, which is a big plus for those who don't want to go to Buffalo Wild Wings. As for the food, if you like Chilis, Fridays and Applebees, you'll fit in here. There's nothing amazing on the menu and nothing terrible, either. It's average burgers, chicken, steaks, etc, and if that's your thing, this is your spot. Everything is priced fair, tastes fair and you'll leave feeling full, without having spent too much money and without a burning desire to return. Fortunately, you won't have anything negative to say, either, except maybe about the service.

I am very happy with my choice of Logan's! I'm from FL on a business trip and there are several choices but on my last night I wanted something familiar and spite of prior reviews here. I am impressed and happy with the steak and service! Steak was perfect and great taste. Also my server, Emily was very kind and on the move. It's great to have someone check on ya. It said a lot for even the manager came by to make sure I was happy! Thank you Logan's and for being a reasonably priced restaurant. Thank you Emily as well :-)

My husband and I eat at this Logan's quite often. I don't know what has changed. I ordered a steak cobb salad and my husband ordered rib eye. Both of our steaks tasted faintly like liver. I guess this means it was less than fresh. The avocado in my salad was bitter. The service wasn't too great either. Upon entering, the young lady and two hostesses stood there and whispered back and forth then one of three hostesses took us back. The waitress was OK. Her appearance was a little sloppy but she did check on us a few times.

I placed an online order at the Cookeville, TN location. The order was for 4 meals. It was placed at 2:55 pm today for pickup at 6:30pm. I was excited as this was out special Father's Day dinner. However, when I called in to let them know I had arrived, I was told my food was not ready, and that the 2 side order of ribs as well as the fried okra was not available. They asked what to replace them with. They had 3 hours to call or even email to let me know. I declined the replacement, asking that they be removed from my order. When my food came out, I was told that the manager would process a refund for those items in 3-5 business days. I will be watching for my refund. When I got home, the onion topping for one of the steaks was missing. The salads had no dressing (I ordered the homemade ranch). The food overall was only so-so. I expected a lot more for the amount that I paid. I used to love Logan's, but this was extremely disappointing. It is now 6/24/2021 and I have received no refund for the unavailable items. I have contacted Logan's through the contact link provided by Logan's.

I was refunded for the dessert missing. Thank you. I do suggest that if a situation of phone tag occurs, that you reach out to guests via email in correspondence.

This place does not clearly understand how to make a French Dip Sandwich. This is the third time in a row that we have talked to a manager about this sandwich. There was a lack of meat, not even close to warm, and the fries were beyond salty.

The 3 star average is way too generous. The ribs were cold and server confirmed they would just microwave them if we sent them back. The kids burger was burnt around the edges to the point that the parts I cut off rang my glass like a bell when I tapped it to see if my kid was exaggerating. Nice staff but that isn't enough to make me want to eat there again. I made the manager aware of the issues, but from the rest of the reviews, I doubt my feedback will affect much change.

Great food and we had awesome service by Cheyenne. The service was fast and friendly. We will be back! Our steaks were cooked perfectly.

Visited the newly renovated Cookeville location. It's been way over a year since I last visited this place. The last few times I had visited was not good. The service was terrible and the food took way to long to get. This visit was a good one. Service and food was excellent. My only gripe was the taxes. Should have been approximately 3.40, but it was 6.60 .. they charge a large tax on mixed drinks. No other restaurant that I visit does this. I WILL NOT be getting any more mixed drinks there.

I was driving home with 2 hours more to go in my trip, but craving a steak. I placed my to-go order and waited. After 20 minutes, the manager told me they had lost my order, and it would be another 10 mins. He did comp the whole meal, which was very nice and the right thing to do. Unfortunately, the steak was mostly gristle, and had a strange, spoiled flavor.

I will never go back here again. We waited for ever to get our food and then when it came it was not right. I ordered a top sirloin not a top FAT sirloin. I ask for it to be burnt so u would think no pink. If u want a good stack u must go to Texas road house that is where it at
