Arrived on our bikes very tired. Taken in looked after , fabulous room. We enjoyed sitting in the sun with a post ride beer. We then had one of those delicious meals you’ll never forget. All , of course, with truffles - amazing. Breakfast the best yet fresh local yoghurts and home made cakes not forgetting the freshly boiled eggs . Incredible. Some of the best bread we’ve had. Stop and stay.

Arrived to a very friendly welcome. Room excellent, couldn't fault decor or cleanliness. Only thing I wasn't too keen on was having to go across a quiet road to go to the swimming pool, so although temperature was in the 30's gave it a miss. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Do not eat breakfast, but had a coffee which was very tasty. Definitely a hotel to recommend and return to again if coming this route again.

Wonderful 3-day stay in an extremely comfortable and friendly hotel in a picture-postcard part of the Perigord. Our large, clean bedroom was located 5 minutes by foot from the hotel in a small square next to a beautiful church. Adequate parking. Restaurant is excellent and the service outstanding. For truffle & foie gras lovers, this is the place to visit. For others, the menu choices will satisfy their needs. Extensive wine list for all wallet sizes. Overall a little pricey but you are paying for quality. Will definitely return.

Best Soufflé I've ever had!!! Great use of truffles in multiple dishes. My kids were welcomed, the owner set up a separate table for kids and brought them toys and even has a playground in the backyard. Waitrer Natasha was super friendly. Truly memorable meal

Very pleasant stay with excellent hosts. The owners of this hotel take pride in their property and restaurant. The rooms are clean and simply decorated, en suite shower or bath with separate toilet. Some with a small balcony. Nice breakfast with fresh juice, coffee, tea, lovely fresh breads, soft boiled eggs, local yogurt and cereal options.||The restaurant has a themed truffle menu ending with Isle Flotante and truffles! Call ahead to reserve. The chef has been creating wonderful meals for guests for 35 years. ||Well located for a starting off point for day trips in the area (loved Sarlat!). Take a drive to the village of Bratome for the truffle market. Don't let the busy road put you off, the rooms are very quiet and in the rear of the hotel. Ample parking is free and across the street. A short walk to the truffle museum is worth a look as well.

We went primarily for the restaurant. We preferred to spend the night as it was a distance to drive home. The room was very clean, excellent shower, very comfortable bed and very quiet as we had requested a room at the back. The restaurant was quite busy but the service was very well done without long waits between courses. Them food was excellent. Can highly recommend the Grand Marnier soufflé. Service correct and friendly. All in all a very good experience for our 47th wedding anniversary.

The hotel is delightful and welcoming; the owner and staff are delightful; the accommodations are more then adequate snd the food is beyond good… bordering on exquisite….and more than ample. Could not have been a better trip for me. Love this part of France!!!!!
