"A country inn with a refreshingly trendy vibe! The chef, a fan of interior design, likes to shake things up, both in the decor – with a blend of styles – and in the food. On the menu: an affinity to the land and innovative touches (snail ravioli with herbs and cream of Pelardon cheese, pike-perch matelote with red wine and candied carrots, exotic baba). A success!" - Michelin Inspector

We wanted a quick stop over on the way down through France and chose this hotel. We paid for the cheapest rooms, and yes, they were in an annex, and very warm, but they were clean, if dated. The meal we had was excellent, with lovely cheerful staff. Breakfast was good, and again cheerful staff. We had my 85 year old parents with us, and they loved it. - praise indeed.|There is a swimming pool, lovely bar plus it's in a quiet village allowing an evening walk stretch into countryside, yet being minutes from a motorway junction (Lozaire).

We chose this hotel as it was on our route to Spain. It is situated just off the motorway in a lovely little hamlet. It is nowhere near the main road so is very quiet. |The hotel is very well presented in a boutique style. The staff were very polite and courteous. English was just about ok which was fine. |The room was great with a lovely view and immaculate. |We ate in the restaurant. The food and service was to a very high standard. |I would stay there again.

My wife and I have stayed here several times with our two small dogs. Themed hotel rooms basic but comfortable. Standard rooms are small and in need of renovation. The restaurant is certainly a major attraction with good quality ingredients well cooked with imagination. Aligot served with most main courses which is certainly a plus for me as I love good aligot(Cantal cheese and potato puree). The staff are friendly and helpful.

We were really excited about visiting this hotel as the rooms are themed and it looked fun but it really didn't live up to expectation....the rooms are rather shabby rather than chic, food was ok but be prepared to pay a min of 22eu for wine with your meal and most considerably more. The outside pool is nice but freezing, the indoor one had been booked along with the spar by others so no chance to find out. The hotel is in a village with very little around to do.

It's perhaps worth reviewing this hotel again as this was our third visit and the standard is as high as ever. The themed rooms are good fun as well as being comfortable and quiet, and the food is excellent. The service on our last two visits has been very friendly and I expect we'll be back there next year on our journey south as it is so convenient for the autoroute and just the right distance from Caen.

From the outside it appears to be a well kept Inn. Inside it's a bit nuts with eclectic decor throughout. We had a fire hydrant in our bedroom. The dining room air con looked like an alien mothership. Great food and interesting local wine. Friendly staff.

Mostly ok, cozy lounge with billiards, poker, chess and more. Interesting interior, my room was modern and nice. The dinner wasn't enough for a propper meal but atleast very delicious. After getting food poisoning (in a kebab not here) i didnt have any towels anymore and they wanted to charge me 80€ after 3 days not having towels, wich one employee kindly neglected. Overall, nice stay if your company deems you to, but its in the middle of nowhere.

The website is gorgeous, but a total misrepresentation . We tried to book one of the theme rooms, but we were advised to take a standard room as we were travelling with our daughter. We inquiring about the state of the standard rooms we were assured the rooms were of the same level as the theme rooms, but basic. We were horrified when we saw the standard room. Everything in the room was at least 40 years old and the room was extremely small. Old and filthy! The picture of the pillows of the standard room on the site at least looks clean. We cancelled to room and drove to a different hotel.
