"In the colourful, contemporary interior with its large glass façade, or on the terrace in the leafy garden, tuck into the chef's well-crafted dishes concocted with the finest ingredients. Gribiche-style head cheese, pan-fried beef and crumbled offal, small pot of cream and a madeleine… Appealing to the palate, it's also easy on the wallet. Comfortable and colourful guestrooms are available, should you wish to prolong your stay." - Michelin Inspector

Lived up to its name with quirky and amazing colour. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and fun. The stars go to the chef for a truly amazing dining experience sitting in the great courtyard in the evening sunshine ! Inventive food with great textures, taste and of course, colour. Some of the best food we've had over the last 3 weeks in France. Thank you! We will return.

A lovely friendly hotel run by a family that exudes customer service where nothing is too much trouble. The food was the best we had eaten during a 15 day holiday. Rooms are clean, spacious and although to decor can be slightly eccentric one can soon overcome the shock one can enjoy a peaceful relaxing stay

The hotel has been recently renovated and is now bright and vibrant. The room was comfortable and well equipped. However the highlight is the food, with an interesting menu. The quality of the produce and the cooking are really excellent. We had a wonderful meal. Breakfast was one of the best we have had anywhere. The family are really welcoming and everything is done with a smile.

Another great stay at this friendly, well managed hotel. The Lanchais family are always so welcoming and service is excellent. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. As always the food was outstanding with the usual interesting menu. It was good to have breakfast served at our table rather than as a buffet.

This food may not appeal to everyone although I think it is incredible. I would describe it as very modern, for instance foam and crumb etc. I love it but some friends find it too unusual. I would strongly suggest that it is worth trying because this is a chef who really wants to stay current and cares deeply about what he cooks. The desserts are surprisingly traditional, please try the souffles - you have to pay a supplement but they are fantastic. The restaurant has now been revamped and extended - I rather miss the 70's decor. It is now very posh!

My wife and I have visited this hotel on many occasions finding the vivid pink and green rooms very attractive. My wife is particular impressed with the new renovations including the Jean Paul Gautier style chairs in the restaurant and the parrot which is a new addition. The food is always very good but it does come at a price with some starters on the a la carte menu costing over 20 euros, and that was not foie gras! The wine list is now getting a little pricey, something the proprietors should watch. Everything is very well executed but this restaurant does not as yet have a Michelin star. The price for dinner bed and breakfast was £225.00. We will however save up and go again.

This is always a must visit and we have been stopping here once or twice a year for the last twenty years and have whitnessed both the evolution of the Hotel and Restaurant. The newest addition is a talking parrot who keeps everyone transfixed. From the vivid pink and lime themed bedrooms to the Jean Paul Gautier styled restaurant, everything is perfect and that is before you taste the food which is divine. I will not go through the whole menu here but must highlight the souffle with cardomon, a supplement of 5€ per person but worth every penny. A great place to visit!

Stayed here for several nights on a cycle tour of the area. Have visited many times and the food is simply wonderful. It's that rate thing - Michelin star quality at Bib Gourmand prices. Stayed in one of the new rooms and was very comfortable indeed. Will be visiting again in October.
