We had a wonderful evening at this charming Bavarian restaurant just a short drive from Salzburg. The set menus were excellent, with a thoughtful vegetarian option alongside the traditional choices. Every dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, and generously served. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to help us with translations, since the menu is only in German—a gesture that made the experience even more welcoming. The wine selection was also outstanding and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, it was a warm and memorable dining experience, and we would happily return!

What an amazing place. Relaxed vibe, we sat outdoors, food was delicious - I especially recommend the carpaccio, the goat cheese salad, the fillet steak. Some great wine choices and just incredible kind and friendly hospitality. Five stars!

Lovely restaurant located in southern Bavaria close to the border with Austria. The quality of ingredients was stellar and it made even dishes like the salad stand out. The servers are amazing and very friendly, and helped us to order since the menu was in German and we weren't able to understand it. We really enjoyed all the dishes and drinks we ordered. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area!!

In my humble opinion the best restaurant in the region. The ambiance, food, and personnel's attention to detail would even deserve a star. What you get for your money is at par with star rated restaurants. We will certainly come back.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne in die Lohmayr Stub‘n um besondere Anlässe mit einem wunderbaren Abendessen zu feiern. So auch dieses Mal, als ich mit meiner Frau meinem Geburtstag feiern wollte und zur Überraschung des Tages plötzlich unsere Kinder aufgetaucht sind um mitzufeiern - es war ein superschöner Abend! Aber ich schweife ab… Auch dieses Mal genossen wir die Menüs mit der gut kombinierten und leckeren Abfolge der einzelnen Gänge. Das Rindercarpaccio war ebenso ein Genuss wie die Kalbsbäckchen und die Dessertvariation zum Abschluss. Abgerundet wurde das ganze durch ein leckeres Glas Rotwein - die Auswahl , welche die Weinkarte bietet, ist schier grenzenlos. Der Service in der Lohmayr Stub‘n geführt von Frau Oberholzner ist sehr persönlich und aufmerksam. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast wie zu Hause. Der Gastraum ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Anzahl der Tische ist überschaubar. was auch zum gesamten Wohlfühlerlebnis beiträgt. Wir mögen dieses wunderbare Restaurant und werden sicher bald wiederkommen. Sei es zum nächsten Geburtstag oder Jahrestag oder sonst einem Ereignis, das mit einem leckeren Essen in authentischer Atmosphäre gefeiert werden möchte!
