Lokos Takos

Lokos knocks it out of the park again! Service is awesome... really nice people, and they are friendly and helpful! I ordered the birria tacos again, this time with the HUGE handmade masa tortillas they make. They are so good. The pickled peppers, carrots and onions add a little bite.., and really amp up the flavor. The consommé is good too (just needed a little salt for my taste). I have tried a number of places that are supposed to have good Birria here in Eugene, and so far... I still think Lokos is the best. ----------------------------------------------------- Had to try the Chile Relleno at Lokos... have seen a number of people commenting how good it is. Previously I have only had the Birria tacos here, and they were really good! Nice plate.... large serving of rice and beans, which are both good. The relleno was delicious, although I prefer them a little larger, lol. But excellent flavor! And this is a fried whipped egg white version... which I love. I also ordered a side of Guacamole to go with it. Very good Guac! So two for two good experiences at Lokos now... will be back soon!

Went here on a whim after a day at the farms. We were looking for tamales (didn’t find any here) BUT, we did find amazing tacos and pozole. Honestly, the food was so much better than we expected. The handmade birria mais tacos were super delicious and the pozole bowl was seasoned perfectly. This place is now definitely on our return list. It’s fully worth the 4.8 stars it gets! Try it!

I am so upset it took me so long to go In here, I’m from Las Vegas so the Mexican food here never seems great, this place was beyond great, best Mexican I’ve had in town yet and the cook brought us out a taco for being our first time there, amazing food and I loved that the cook came out and checked on us! Will be back frequently

WOW. I got the quesabirria tacos with corn tortillas and oh. My. GOODNESS! 10/10! I was so full with 3 tacos but I was depressed I couldn’t eat the 4th bc it was THAT yummy! Best tacos I’ve had In as long as I can remember!!! Quick friendly service! Must try!

One of the best hard shell Taco I’ve ever had. The delicate crunch lets you know right away this is a home run and the ingredients do not disappoint. We split an order of rice and beans which were delicious and presentation made us know we found a gem. Very friendly staff and clean surroundings, you know someone cares and works hard to preserve that atmosphere. Can’t wait to return. Jim

My hubs and I went for the first time on Friday. We will definitely be back! The chile relleno was one of my absolute favorites in town! If you want spicy, they have a bunch of homemade sauces for you to choose from! The staff was so kind and welcoming. The guacamole was worth the extra $! I'm patiently waiting for a full sit down restaurant now. They deserve one!

If you are reading these reviews to decide if you should eat here, the answer is "yes, yes you should eat here" The burritos are amazing, the tacos are amazing! The tortas are delicious. Everything is. You really cant go wrong with anything you order. The staff here is amazing and nice. They are always kind when I make my order and I have a few food sensitivities, so it can be a bit much sometimes wheh i order food out. But they never make me feel that way. And they are especially kind to my daughter with special needs everytime we come in a eat or pick up our food. Dont pass this place up!! You won't be disappointed. Great food, great people!

Definitely enjoyed my fish tacos, though I would like to have been able to add some black beans. My meal came with some limes, jalapeños, and a roasted hot ass pepper. And though I had to pay extra for the guacamole, it was worth it. The staff was great as well. I will be going back.

This place is outstanding. I had menudo, and my wife had the Birria Tacos. You can choose from homemade tortillas, corn, or even bread. The menudo was very good, as were the tacos. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We will be going back often. I definitely recommend Lokos Takos, very, very good food

Unfortunately going here has ended for me due to my experience over the weekend. The service was friendly but the food is another story. My sister was in town, my mom and I came to order basically just several tacos, carne asada, for $3 happy hour. I hate to assume but, not even an hour after eating, my stomach hurt like crazy, so did my sister's, my boyfriend's and my mom's. TMI maybe but it's just too much of a coincidence to even chance it again. Meat could've been old or something, I assume, I really have no idea. We all had the asada tacos specifically.

The atmosphere is pretty layer back nothing too outrageous. They have TVs inside a good size menu to pick from. I got the chili relleno burrito and the asada burrito both were great the only thing is I would not have put lettuce in the burrito but that's just me.

A better-than-the-rest taqueria spot amongst a sea of other taquerias on River Road. It's casual, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. In addition to standard taqueria items, they offer specials (tamales, menudo) that are worth going for. The birria tacos are a standout menu item. The guacamole, salsas and veggies are fresh and the protein options are higher quality with good portions of meat that aren't full of fat or gristle. They have a nice cooler of drinks (including Jarritos and Mexican Coke) and popsicles in addition to fountain sodas, and it's a pretty casual vibe with tvs on and local folks visiting during dinner.

Great, authentic flavors. Lokos Takos has everything you could want in a taco. The service was absolutely awesome too. The staff were very cheerful and polite. The restaurant is on the smaller side, with a casual vibe.

The food was ok my taco had no salt and the habanero sauce I got was just pure water! Service was good I definitely would not go again.

New taco spot, so new that I added them to Yelp! I drive by here all the time and decide to check them out. Definitely coming back. Meats are all cooked authentically and taste like a true Mexican taco shop!
