⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience at Lokum Lounge was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is elegant and beautifully designed, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The food was delicious — definitely above average compared to many other places I’ve tried. I especially love their Friday nights with the DJ — she keeps the energy high and makes sure everyone’s having fun! 🎶 They also offer karaoke on Wednesdays and belly dancing on Fridays, which adds such a lively and unique touch. Highly recommend this place for a fun night out!

Absolutely incredible experience at Lokum! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, stylish, and thoughtfully done. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, the food is exceptional, and every single detail shows how much care goes into this place. The dishes were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — truly one of those meals where you keep saying “wow” after every bite. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with love. This is the kind of restaurant you want to come back to again and again. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our waitress Arabella. She is an absolute gem. So attentive, kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of service that instantly elevates the entire experience. She made us feel special without being overbearing, gave great recommendations, and brought such positive energy to the table. Service like hers is rare and deserves real recognition. Highly recommend the lamb chops. They were very tasty and crispy at the bone. Lokum gave a generous portion of salmon that was also very flavorful and charred beautifully. The Goddess meze platter is a must, especially with the muhammara, avocado ganoush, and hummus! The best drinks were one night stand in Moscow and stray cat in Istanbul. Our waitress, Maryanna was friendly. I don't recommend: The peach in Paris—it didn't taste like peach at all, and the fries were not shoestring fries and were quite bland.

Overall great experience trying Lokum for the first time. All of the food was amazing. We made sure to tell our hostess to let the chef know the food was superb! Had complimentary bread, beef tenderloin with veggies flatbread, halloumi with apricots, Lokum kofte, tenderloin fettuccine, pistachio burger, Turkish kunafe and Dubai cake. Again - first time here and everything was delicious. The few things keeping them from a full 5 star all around review are the following: - when presented the menu the hostess did not let us know that there is no steak until after I initially tried to order the steak. - we asked for iced water with lemon and she said it was not available; mid way through the dinner we asked a different hostess and she brought us the ice without an issue. - when we asked to order a hookah the hostess told us that hookah does not begin until 5pm since the person who prepares the hookah wasn’t there yet; he eventually came and we ordered our hookah and later noticed that it was placed outside with the charcoal already lit however we were sitting inside the restaurant; when asked the hostess said we are not allowed to smoke inside the main dining area which would have been great information to know when ordering the hookah and before our food starting to be presented to us; we later asked for everything to be moved outside because it would be a bit waste to have the hookah burning outside and not being able to enjoy it. - later while smoking the hookah, since it’s an iced hookah at some point the hookah made a sizzling noise after a charcoal change and when we asked the person in charge of the hookah to take a look he said that it was because the hookah had died out.. however I know the issue was related to water making its way up the tubing and getting into the section with the tobacco and the charcoal probably (I tested it and noticed the water in the tubing goes up into the top of the hookah if you push air through the hookah which is done by many people to clear a hookah that has too much smoke inside of it; something I’ve done countless times in the past without an issue) and that was basically the end of our hookah experience. We went from having thick smoke after a charcoal change to it immediate fizzling and burning outside

Amazing Turkish restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful, and in the evening there is amazing lounge music that creates a truly relaxing and stylish vibe. The cocktails were outstanding — delicious and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the service was exceptional: friendly, attentive, and professional. Highly recommended!

I celebrated my 30th birthday here, and when I tell you that I had the most amazing time here, it is an understatement. The service was spectacular - everyone was so attentive and present. The food was delicious - we kept wanting more! The atmosphere was incredible - first with chill music earlier in the evening, followed by literally fire beats from the DJ and an awesome dance performance from a really belly dancer. My family and friends all had an incredible time and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Lokum definitely scores high on ambiance and service; it's clear they spent real money creating a sleek, comfortable space. The tall, heavy glasses gave off a refined touch that fit the setting perfectly. I ordered the lamb chops medium and got them well-done; no red anywhere. Luckily, they weren't dry and still tasted fine, just not the juicy medium I was hoping for. The mushroom sauce had some flavor to it, so that helped. The side, on the other hand, was confusing: long, crispy carrot strips that looked like potato chips but didn't taste nearly as good. At roughly $50 after tax and tip, the portion of three medium-sized chops felt a bit light, especially since I later saw photos on Yelp showing some plates with four. Between the off temperature, the odd side, and the light portion, I actually left and grabbed another meal afterward. Great vibe, friendly staff, decent food; but for the price, I expected a bit more substance.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here. All in all an excellent experience. Reservations were easy and they easily accommodated a larger party. Great opportunity to take photos with cool decor and backgrounds. Everyone was happy with food. And with drinks. Service was top notch and surprisingly final bill was reasonable. As far as food - lamb chops were excellent. Pasta with steak was quite large and tasty. Seafood pasta was excellent. For me best dish was pistachio Adana kebab - visually stunning, with layered flavors and sauces poured table side Also enjoyed all the drinks. Especially bourbon with flaming cinnamon stick (actual fire made the drink warm and added nice smokiness). Emmons Ave features many restaurants but Lokum for me stands out due to food quality and ambiance

Came here a while back for an event. It's way far out in Brooklyn but the water view is awesome, the decor is lovely and staff I interacted with were friendly enough. The bathroom was also inclusive and had a nice sign to indicate it was unisex and to keep it clean. I can't speak to food since I believe I only had water and attended for an event but the comedians varied from decent to awesome and the fashion show was very nice. I believe there was also live music and I have no complaints there. It's way off my beaten path but if you're in the area, it's worth a visit even if just to see the sunset from the outdoor patio area.

Lokum is truly a gem in the heart of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. The Mediterranean delights, soulful tunes, and cherished company, you won't want to leave. I celebrated my birthday dinner with my friends & had an amazing time. The hospitality were all 10's across the board. Just the perfect dining experience. I enjoyed everything. The food, drinks, live band & dancer were all a hit! I definitely recommend dining here for any occasion

Such a beautiful venue with plenty of photo ops! The service and food was great! I loved the dips. We were told they were freshly made daily. We had it with pita. We also ordered a flatbread which was delicious too. Love love love the decor. Definitely a gem in South Brooklyn! I'd love to attend salsa night or a night with entertainment!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Was here with 15 people the other day and the service was phenomenal. The waitress we had was so sweet and she had a great attitude the whole time. This spot is super cute and chic and has a lot of room and photo ops. The food is through the roof, I have never had every single dish that tasted so good. Apps: The dips with flatbread: I love how they displayed the dips, beautiful and each dip tasted amazing. The eggplant and guac was definitely top tier Octopus: was so good and fresh, the texture taste was just perfect. Must try Meatballs: it was flavorful and perfect amount of sauce and cheese Adana Kebab with pistachio: honestly got to say this is so unique. The adana kebab was wrapped inside like a tortilla wrab with sauce over it. Steak: LOVE THE STEAK, literally melted in your mouth. I would go here everyday if I could. Best place ever and the sangria is the best as well.

Had a company lunch here & omgggg everyone loved it! Beautifully curated and well thought out restaurant. The ambiance was gorgeous!!! Service was exceptional...so friendly and just attentive!!! The food was delicious. Portions were perfect! The lamb chops succulent & the drinks were A++ Looking forward to returning soon!!! Lokum is in the heart of Brooklyn it's such a cute restaurant. Lots of food options and everything was just delicious. The service was excellent I definitely will be back. It was such a cool date night spot. Even a great place to bring the family.

My friend and I booked a table at Lokum. From the first minute and throughout our dinner, it was a positive experience. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess. She helped us choose a table. Then we chose dishes from the menu. From the appetizers, we chose grilled octopus, zucchini pancakes. The main courses were lamb chops and Kashkaval Kofte. Everything was very fresh and tasty. We ordered two cocktails: lychee martini and passion Margarita. The choice did not disappoint us. For dessert, we opted for Turkish Kunefe and Turkish coffee. The service was at a high level. The waitresses were very nice and attentive. I would also like to note that we really liked the interior of the restaurant. The hall is spacious and well decorated. The furniture is comfortable and modern. I will definitely come here again. I would especially like to come in the warm season to dine on the terrace overlooking the bay.

I had a lot of fun at this place. The decor is funky and pink themed. Food was fresh. I don't love their wine menu and didn't get a chance to try their cocktails. I hope they get busier because it adds to the atmosphere.

This restaurant is disappointing!!! We went there for girls night for celebration. The restaurant was empty and we asked DJ GIRL to play Turkish songs we even tipped her but she refuse to play it. Kept playing russian songs even though it was only us there. Google shows that they close at 2 AM however we got our check given to us at 12. I do not recommend this place for partying specially with that DJ girl!

We was visiting friends in Brooklyn ( from Hamptons- i wish we had place like this) & they wanted to try this spot, we was pleasantly surprised- it was 6 if us-& every dish we ordered was great: octopus, calamari, babaganush, for main course lamb chops & adana pistachio , duck- all was great,& great deserts, service was great!!! Bathrooms was well decorated & clean ( which i always judge the place), sitting outside where we was nice (& throw blankets was available)

The service was very good especially Elif. They gave blankets to keep warm by the ocean breeze. The staff was carefully N.H. and attentive. The food was very good and the presentation was really nice.

Beautiful atmosphere!! There is a stunning background to take photos in and disco balls lighting up the entire place. The food is spectacular, loved the fettuccine. The service was amazing and the waiters & waitresses are so kind. 100% coming back!

Came here with the family for Mother's Day and results were very mixed. The good: Service - waitstaff was very pleasant, attentive and patient. No complaints there, A+ Decor - very nice and festive. Place was well decorated and had a nice atmosphere. Tea/coffee service: fantastic. Delicious Turkish tea served in traditional small cups. Solid espresso drinks. Enjoyed those very much. Bread service - we got fresh warm pita bread for the table which was great. The bad: Food - the lamb chop dish was terrible. Three tiny chops served with bland overcooked "risotto", without any other sides or sauce, for $38. Complete ripoff. Shakshuka was over-salted, too acidic and served with undercooked eggs. Had to eat it with tons of pita to balance out the salt and acid. The menu - this was apparently an issue just for Mother's Day but they removed all the Turkish dishes from their brunch menu I wanted to try and, instead, had a pre fixe with burgers, omelettes and eggs Benedict that I can get everywhere else. So that was disappointing. Will still probably come back as I'm curious to try the Turkish dishes on their regular brunch menu, which hopefully will taste better than what they served this time.

A MARVELLOUS PLACE. Beautiful view from the balcony of the second floor: the bay, the water, boats, sunsets, pleasant sounds of music. Very colorful and comfortable decor inside out. Enchanting Place. Food is Superb. The tastes of Eastern Mediterranean. Always new to discover, very tasty and very fresh. Service Excellent. On weekends in the evenings Belly Dance and Salsa Dance LIVE. Plus, DJ music. A must for a NY er to visit. Many Thanks. Will definitely come back and bring guests.

Mike and the team are always on top of their game. I came back with my family to celebrate my bday here 2nd year in the row. The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful and well balanced. The lamb chops, chicken kabobs and meatballs juicy. Was not disappointed from beginning to end. Live entertainment and belly dancing on Friday/Saturday and Sunday!!!

The palace is really good! The server Julia is amazing which is a great addition to any restaurant. The food is pretty good and everything we tried was tasty.

We were in this restaurant for the first time and we are very happy with our choice! The cocktails were very tasty!!! I would especially like to mention our waiter Saddy, who provided us with excellent service! She always checked our table, was very attentive, could answer any of our questions about the menu. This is exactly how a waiter should be.

Went here on a Saturday night just for drinks & hookah..the decor is nice & the staff is very professional..I had the sangria and a margarita which was very good and smooth & the hookah was electric love which was also very good I will be back!

The AC was not working all Saturday. They failed to inform us while making the reservation. We did NOT enjoy the food Stay away!

I ate in this restaurant with my husband for lunch, while in the area. The place is sophisticated and beautiful. Service is excellent, as is the food. I had the avocado toast, which comes with an egg on top and the creamiest feta I've ever tasted, accompanied by a salad. My husband had the shashuka. Yummy! The bread for the table comes out hot and delicious. Everything was so fresh and so very tasty. There's music on the weekends and we're looking forward to returning.

Everything here is amazing! Loved the outdoor patio seating, and so did our toddler who joined us for dinner. The live band was just perfect! It was a gorgeous night and the staff was on point! And the food- was incredible. Presentation and quality were beyond my expectations! We ordered several drinks, apps, entrees and deserts. The smoked ribeye- yum! So fun the way it is presented in the glass dome. The steak and lamb dinner were tender. The Turkish Kunefe was delightful and the cocktails were great. I am always pleasantly surprised to see lychee on the menu! I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic place with excellent ambiance, tasty food, and great entertainment. We have been to this place a few times and it never disappoints.

Save yourself from this place. Nobody speaks English including the manager and the owner. The owner is disrespectful and nasty. He was called to my table because I was given the incorrect plate and all I wanted was my food and I didn't even get that. Please do not COME HERE. I think the owner is against Jewish people because I had a Jewish star on and for no reason he was nasty to me.

The food here is great. Everything on the menu is flavorful and delicious especially their goddess fig salad. The decor is also so beautiful and vibrant. Additionally, the people who work here are very sweet and attentive. I definitely recommend eating here.

This area does not lack in Mediterranean cuisine, but Lokum stands out because it's what I call an elevated take on the classics. First, the room is really spacious, and the seating is super comfortable. We came here for dinner with my in-laws, who are in their late 70's-early 80's, so we need places where their bodies do not hurt from sitting for two hours in flimsy chairs. Here, you will find comfortable banquette seating and cushy chairs. The drinks are excellent, they don't skimp on alcohol and craft. We had 3 mezze platter and opted for butternut squash dip, smoked eggplant dip and avocado-feta dip, each of which was fantastic. We also had falafel, liver, halloumi, mediterranean fries, and hummus as a start. For the mains, we had seafood linguine, tenderloin fettucine, adana wrap, chicken kebab and fig salad with chicken. The adana kebab was amazing. I have had adana kebabs before, many times, but here, it came in a really tasty wrap, with pistachio and yogurt sauce on top and the meat quality was amazing. My husband felt it was too spicy, but I did not think so. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. We then got desserts: chocolate mousse, baklava and kunefe. The kunefe was the best I ever had, and I had many of those. It was just so sublime. They had music playing in the background at just the right volume for people to be able to hear each other and then a singer came, which was also very enjoyable. Our total with tax and tip was $643 for 7 people for high-quality meal and we left full and happy. I would love to come back here in the evening as I think it will have a very lively atmosphere with dancing.

One of the very best kunefe I have tried for the last 5 years. Unfortunately, I was in hurry to eat there anything else, but kunefe there is awesome!!!

10/10 . This restaurant was amazing from the exit of my vehicle to the end of the night . We came to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday and she enjoyed it very much . The food was not good but delicious . Everything was well seasoned, came always with great timing . The drinks were also great. My mom does not drink alcohol and the bartender went ahead and made my mom one of the best pina coladas we ever had. We had the lentil soup, fried octopus, the lamb chops and duck conceit it was all tasty . For dessert the raspberry cheesecake and rice pudding sealed the night ! Besty or maybe it is Betsy was the best host ever she was so nice always smiling and great at her job . She would make anyone want to come back just to visit . Hasan our waiter also took care of us very well. Always coming back to check in and making all was good . Oh how could I forget the amazing pita bread. We love Lokum and will be back they made sure of it . The place is gorgeous and the aesthetics beautiful.
