I was so impressed with this little restaurant!! I heard about them through TikTok and the food did not disappoint. It’s a little place - definitely make a reservation. But they also have a little patio. You can tell this place cares about the details. The owner walks around, greets, helps, and is just a delight. Our waitress Chris was awesome, just overall great service. The food was phenomenal, possibly best Italian I’ve ever had. 100000% I’ll be back and recommend to anyone.

I took my love, soul mate, and soon to be wife here for her birthday. We traveled from Dayton to indulge in authentic Italian food. She loves and lives to eat this cuisine. She ordered the Gnocchi and I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp. Both dishes were hot, fresh and absolutely soul satisfying! Rhianna was our server and her attentiveness, friendliness, and personable service was top notch. This adorable, quaint place has won our hearts and future choice of dining!! It was a perfect ending to a beautiful weekend of celebrating the life of my lover.

I don’t even like Italian food and this totally changed my mind!! Everything we ate was fantastic. Will return. Very reasonably priced and tasted so authentic and made with love

They have limited hours, so check the site to make sure before you go. There is a parking lot but can be filled quickly (there are other businesses in the strip). We made a reservation, we had a party of 8, and I feel that would be the largest party they could accommodate inside. They may be able to do a 12 top outside. The restaurant itself is small, and the inside has 9 tables. The outside had 5 tables, and they are covered. We ordered drinks and wine, then a few appitizers. Bread does come to the table it is a garlic loaf. We got the Pasta Fritto, Bruschetta, Insalata Caprese, side salads, and onion soup. All were very good. The soup was a cream base, so it was not so salty. Our meals were Spaghetti and Meatball, Shrimp Scampi over Linguine, Lobster Ravioli, Giuseppe Baked Rigatoni, Chicken Marsala, Giuseppe Sampler. The meals take a little time to come out. Everything is made fresh. I would say a 20 min wait for the main course. The deserts were Bread Pudding and Amy's Rasberry Wedding Cake. Our server was very nice and answered questions about the menu.

Google
Old school italian restaurant. Red sauce is neither sweet nor acidic. It is perfect. Good portions. Everybody took home leftovers. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. The fried spaghetti pie was awesome. We bought some Italian wedding cookies from their bakery on the way out and they were perfect! Pretty crowded so definitely need reservations on weekends

Google
Very small venue so you must have reservations. Music a bit loud for such a small place but the Italian music was appreciated. The bread was tasteless. The lasagne was not heavy we both ordered and it would have been enjoyed if it had not been served lukewarm instead of piping hot. The Tiramasu was just ok nothing special. My biggest complaint was that when I made my open table reservation I put down birthday celebration. I didn’t expect anything but a Happy Birthday to my husband. No excuse for ignoring the special occasion.

Google
Came here for my birthday due to great reviews and it being closeby. My husband and I had high hopes, he loves lasagna and I'm a big fan or Marsala anything. We both thought it was ok, average, not the best not the worst. Very small, mom and pop restaurant, maybe 10 tables inside and 5 tables outside with limited hours. We came on a Thursday, no wait. We each got a cup of Italian wedding soup, which was fine. I've had better from the refrigerated section at market district. I got the veal Marsala, my husband got the "award winning" lasagna. The veal Marsala is definitely not worth the price, the lasagna you get a large portion. Both were ok... Not sure we'll come back since there are other Italian places we have not tried that may be better. Service was quick though.

My wife and I visited the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. We had a good experience here. The food was cooked well, even though we did have to add some salt the bakery was tasty and the chocolate cake that I got dessert was kind of dry. The restaurant is extremely small, and it was winter. When the front door opened it was freezing in there. I would recommend spring or summer for dining in. All in all that food was good, the staff was nice and the prices are great.

Yelp
Had a feast at Lola and Giuseppe's! It's a small local Italian place and they also have a bakery! They had lots of choices for noodles and I liked how the noodle choices were interchangeable. We went in without a reservation and were first quoted an hour wait but thankfully a spot opened up out on the patio so we were seated promptly! I recommend making a reservation for weekend nights. We started off with some complimentary garlic bread. The bread was soft and pretty good but it doesn't seem like it's made in house because when we asked for more garlic on it, they said it came pre-packaged so they gave us a little bowl of raw garlic to spread on it. Some more roasted garlic on it would have been great They had a sampler where you could get a piece of lasagna, spaghetti with meatball, and eggplant Parmesan on one dish! The eggplant Parmesan was the best with crispy eggplant and plenty of sauce. My favorite dish of the night was the fettuccine Alfredo. I chose shrimp as my protein. Although the shrimp was just okay, I liked how tender the noodles were and the sauce was creamy and not too salty! The gnocci was also very chewy and tasty, and I did like the addition of veggies, but the Italian sausage made it a bit on the salty side. The chicken parm came with spaghetti and green beans. The chicken was crispy on the outside and went well with the spaghetti. The portion sizes overall were large so there were leftovers! The prices are not bad for the size. For dessert, we got the cannoli. It was filled with tons of filling and chocolate chips. Overall the meal tasted very homey and hearty. Our server efficient and it was a beautiful night to dine outside so we left very happy!

Yelp
I chose Lola & Giuseppe's for my birthday dinner after hearing the hype for years. Reservations are hard to get, so I snapped one up when I saw it. The food was... Fine? I was expecting super authentic but it tasted like any other Italian restaurant. I was a big fan of the free garlic bread, but not a fan of the cramped quarters or the bathroom that butted up against a table. (Imagine being seated at that table? Ew.) The service was SO great, though. Altogether, I'd say it's a middle of the road option. Just come with realistic expectations.

Yelp
Lola Guiseppes is truly a hidden gem in a small hidden location at Gahanna. The place is open for merely 4hours for service. They get booked very fast and only allow reservations. There is no chance you can get a walk in as they are booked for days. The food is very good. The onion soup is to die for. The pasta sauce everything is delicious. It's your Italian grandmothers kitchen recipes. The servers and owners are very hospitable and friendly. Definitely worth the visit.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to go here for a while, but reservations were very hard to come by (which made me even more interested in checking out this very popular spot!). Finally snagged 8 pm Friday night seats. The place is very small and intimate -- not at all fancy (pretty brightly lit, casually decorated) but it does feel homey. We were seated at a small table, and our server was friendly. We ordered the veal Marsala (served with risotto and green beans) and fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp; we also shared the Caesar salad. Everything was well made and flavorful (though I found the green beans a little bland and boring-- they were just a side, though). We also were served complimentary garlic bread, which we appreciated, and we ordered the tiramisu (which honestly was as impressive as I thought it would be, given the restaurant's bakery business -- the coffee flavor didn't come through as much as I'd expect and the ladyfinger portion seemed surprisingly dry). Prices were all quite reasonable, and portion sizes were large, so sharing was perfect (I felt full pretty quickly, especially after the bread). We also ordered a bottle of wine, and didn't feel rushed -- it was a very comfortable and comforting night overall. I'd like to come back with more people and try some of the other entrees and a different dessert (if I can get a table!).

Yelp
I am not trying to exaggerate here, but this may be the best Italian in Columbus, OH. The food was exceptional! My wife and I came here for my birthday, and it did not disappoint The service is outstanding. The owner walks around and greets everybody and makes everybody feel very welcome. Our waitress was extremely friendly. She kept bringing out fresh bread without any hesitation. The restaurant itself is very quaint. I can't imagine it can hold more than 30 people. There's plenty of parking. The place itself was cheap too! An appetizer, two salads, bottle of wine, two entrees, and two desserts for under $110? That feels like highway robbery! If we lived closer to Gahanna, we would be regulars!

Yelp
What an amazing little place I've found. We had such a good experience here, we came with a couple friends and everyone was delighted by the taste of the food, the only thing I don't recommend to order is the fried spaghetti, yes you read it right, deep fried spaghetti, it didn't tickle my whistle at all, maybe you'd like it but I wouldn't order that again, for the rest of the food no complains, everything was delicious, amazing service and great ambiance who did say good things doesn't come in a small packages? Make reservations before you go.

Yelp
Nice but very small. Music too loud for such a small place. Played nice Italian music. Mandy our server was very nice but obvious she was new. Bread served was very tasteless. Lasagne would have been enjoyed but served lukewarm instead of piping hot. No excuse for this. The tiramasu was just ok nothing special. When I made my reservation I did put down that it was special occasion- birthday. I did expect anything but to acknowledge my husband's special occasion. No excuse for this.

Yelp
This was my first visit since moving back to OH. I used to be a regular and now I will be again. The carmelized onion soup was so delicious- I asked for 2 extra spoons so my friends could taste it and they loved it. The chicken marsala was excellent. All the components were melded together for a symphony. For dessert I had a cannoli, the best I've had in years. The portions were so big that I took home half of my entree and most of my cannoli. Trish our server was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation. It may take a while to get one. Totally worth the wait.

Yelp
This was our first visit to this restaurant. The website and the reviews were accurate. The place is small and busy. Every seat was taken. The room looked like a classic Italian restaurant with checkered table clothes. The service was excellent and the portions are huge. We were visited at the table by the owner to introduce himself. The only disappointment was that they ran out of lasagna by 7:30. I had the onion soup. It was thick and filled with onions and it seemed to have mushrooms. Very tasty and filling. Imagine a bowl of soup these days for $6.00. The other items on the menu were very reasonably priced as well. The veal Marsala was good as well. A little different-the sauce was a little thinner and sweeter than I've had previously My wife's eggplant parm was tasty as well. Also a large portion. In summary, a good place to have dinner. Be sure to get a reservation well in advance.

Yelp
Small and intimate restaurant, took a bit to finally be able to get in with a reservation but well worth it. Food was all delicious, and will definitely return. Service, everyone was very friendly and outgoing.

Yelp
Been meaning to come here for years, but basically working second shift did not mesh with their hours. Now I can finally enjoy actually doing things in the evening. Met Mike, Anna, and a couple other Yelpers here. We had a reservation, which is a very good idea. Even on a Tuesday night there was a wait, and the place is tiny so the waiting area is pretty much in the dining room. As is the kitchen, right around the corner. But once seated it didn't feel cramped, and the noise level was decent, with easy conversation. There is a small outdoor area but it was rainy. Very pleasant environment, somewhat old-school Italian-American. As was the food: perfectly-done versions of lasagna, Alfredo, Parmigiana, etc. I got the lasagna, a big portion with very good sauce, perfect pasta, a load of excellent meat, and good cheese. Very enjoyable. Took home some gnocchi for Sweetie; she liked it but wasn't completely impressed. Loved the sauce, liked the gnocchi. Baby K got her new favorite, Alfredo, also on her new favorite, rigatoni. I tasted it and it was very good. She loved it. The kid's portion was more than enough for an 8-year-old, and really enough for an adult. Plus, hers was brought out first, a nice touch for parents. And it was not served hot- just right for a kid. Our meals were a bit warmer, again just right, and the one I got to go came out piping hot. They are on top of many little details here. There was plenty of garlic bread for the table, also good. I tasted Mike's artichoke-spinach dip: great dip with perfect dipping wedges. Stuffed, we passed on desserts, but they sounded good. Service was superb. There when needed, but not pushy, really on top of things for a kid, which I didn't expect from a fairly adult-oriented place. And on top of things in general. The owner checked in on us, and talked to Baby K about what she liked. Prices were better than I expected, well worth it for the quantity and quality. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I've been here before and had a lovely experience. This visit wasn't quite as great, but the food is always top notch. I made a reservation for 7:30 to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were seated quickly and our waitress quickly brought out some waters. I did feel like they rushed us a bit, you could tell they wanted to close for the night. Each course came out before we had finished the previous. However, they have a nice and inexpensive wine selection! We had a bottle of wine and started with the spinach and artichoke dip which is probably the best I've ever had. The hot pita they serve it with was awesome too. We both got a salad as well and they were great. I wanted to lasagna for my main course but they ran out, which was a bummer. I ended up getting the spaghetti and meatballs and it was awesome. My husband got the gnocchi and it was tasty too. We finished the night with a cannoli and the carrot cake, both of which were delicious. This little spot is so cute, very mom and pop style Italian restaurant. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
Great food and friendly service. Not crazy about the faux wall divider being pushed towards our table every time the other party moved their chair, lol. But sauces and salads were all fresh and on point. Service was very good as well. Disappointing to find pieces of a scrub brush in my meal but they were very attentive about that issue and handled it professionally. Overall we'd go back for the fresh and delicious food, and good service Also, would love to see them expand their space.

Yelp
This is a complicated restaurant to deal with. Online orders are limited to practically none. My favorite dish was offered online, and now it's taken off. When calling the restaurant, the blunt response was "sorry, we are not taken online order". So the question is how do I get some food? They are booked consistently unless you book way in advance. I have not been able to sit down inside this restaurant for a meal, and they are only 15 minutes from my house. We had to go inside the restaurant, place the order, sit and wait, and that took several questions to get an answer. Mr. Giuseppe, you need to find a way for this dilemma. So Steve replied to this review with a link for carry out, still no chicken marsala on the carry out order and the carry out option is turned off 95% of the time from this restaurant. I give up!

Yelp
I felt a very high level of racism.. The male server had 2 is opportunities to greet me and my husband he never did He spoke to everyone around us at the entrance door but not us. At the end of dinner he checked on the table right next to us but never spoke to us or even looked our way.. One bright spot was our server she was amazing her name is Rihanna.

Yelp
This is simply one of the most wholesome and loveliest places. So small and intimate, and the owner comes around just to make sure everything is good. The caesar salad was great, it didn't even last long enough for pictures. If you love anchovies like me, definitely get them added! Pasta Fritto was good, but heavy. I barely touched dinner after that! The sampler is great, I was shocked that my favorite was the eggplant parmesan because usually I wouldn't go for it. Bread pudding was so decadent. Book in advance and prepare for a wonderful evening!
google avatar

Yelp
My husband loves Italian food and he kept talking about this restaurant, so I had to try it! It was very nice! I really like their Pasta Fritto, the crispy and everything was so good. My husband got Chicken Marsala and he said it was the best one so far! And you can't miss their Garlic Bread, it's the beeest!!!! I want to keep eating their garlic bread all night :D The restaurant was very cute, the owner was very nice, he came and said hi us. If you plan to go, you should book the table in advance!

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while and so excited I finally made it! The inside is so cute, they have red and white table cloths and lots of nods to Italy. The staff is also so kind and I was sat right away. For the food we ordered a bottle of red wine for the table, pasta fritto, bruschetta, and insalata caprese. The pasta fritto seemed a little strange to me but it was AMAZING. The caprese was also so flavorful and fresh. For my meal I ordered the chicken Marsala. The vegetable it came with that day was green beans they also were so delicious and fresh. The portion size of the chicken was HUGE and I was able to bring almost half of it home! It was some of the best Marsala I have ever had. For dessert we split tiramisu and carrot cake. I cant decide which was better they were both so amazing. The carrot cake was so flavorful and the tiramisu was fluffy and the best I've ever had. Can't say enough good things about the food! When the bill came I was shocked by how inexpensive it was. We ordered so much food, the portions were so large, and the pricing was so good! I will 100% be back.

Yelp
One of the best family owned restaurants I've been to. It's super small so reservations are encouraged. You definitely feel at home. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the spaghetti and the meatballs were huge!! My friend ordered a seafood pasta and it was delicious. Also, the basil dressing they use for salad dressing is top tier. They also own a bakery next door. We got tiramisu and a hummingbird cake which was phenomenal. Will definitely be back when we're in the area. I didn't get many pictures.
google avatar

Ariel S.

Yelp
This is a small, quaint restaurant. The food is delicious. I especially loved the pasta fritto! The staff and service could not have been any friendlier. This will be my go-to Italian restaurant.

Yelp
My husband has been wanting to try this little Italian place in Gahanna and we finally made it there this weekend. He got the fettuccine alfredo and I tried the daily seafood special, which was seafood linguine with spinach, mushroom, and roasted bell peppers in rosa cream sauce. And of course we had to try the tiramisu. It was a great meal and we'd go back. It's a small place, so I recommend making reservations.
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
High quality, authentic food. Small dining area. You might need to call for a reservation. I went early (5pm-ish) so it wasn't an issue for me.

Yelp
I loved this little Italian restaurant! Very quaint with a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff was very kind and the food was delicious (I especially loved the Pasta Fritto) I will definitely be returning!

Yelp
100% positive on food, service, and ambiance. Multiple visits over the years, and never a flutter of disappointment. Let me reiterate my previous reviews. Taste the layers of flavor and texture in each bite. Service is as if each day they strive to do better than the last. Clean petite dining rooms with light music, that doesn't flood your table conversation. Lighting bright enough to read your menu and see the beauty of each plate. *Our best visits have been a party of 4 with 2 apps, 3 entrees with salad or soup, 2 desserts, and a couple wines. Tasting 7-8 wonderful items and still having leftovers is an ideal experience. The lasagna and meatballs are top of my 614 list. *Make a reservation and go for the experience. Carryout and catering is available. Private strip center parking lot with a seasonal outdoor patio that overlooks it.

Yelp
My son took me to Lola & Giuseppe's for my birthday and it was wonderful! I ordered their sampler and I was not disappointed. It was delicious. It was like a step back in time. The restaurant was very quaint and had an old time feel to it. Our server was very nice and did a great job. If you go to Lola's, don't forget to stop at their bakery. It was awesome. I purchased their thumbprint cookies and they were the best I have ever had.

Yelp
Tiny dining room, but awesome Italian food and great service. You'll need a reservation. If you can't get one, consider them for takeout! Really good food!

Brian M.

Yelp
Can't say enough positive about this place. You will need a reservation just due to size of restaurant and how popular it is, but it's worth it. We went for our anniversary, the food was great. I got the lasagna and my wife got the baked ziti. We got tiramisu for dessert. The service was fantastic, our reservation was for 8 and they close at 9, but never once did I feel rushed or that the late reservation was a burden on the staff. The owner was checking how our food was and chatting with tables. We have been in Columbus for a long time and just now tried this place for the first time, can't believe we waited this long.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This exceeded my expectations in every way. The food here could easily hold its own with any Italian restaurant in Boston or NY. The owner Steve was going around greeting everyone and checking on the food. You can tell there is a lot of care and love put into the cooking. They serve complimentary garlic bread and it is old school with lots of butter. The chicken marsala had the most flavorful sauce (slightly sweet) and lots of mushrooms. Loved the cheesy risotto it was served with. The salad dressing is homemade and it is incredible. Marinara sauce is some of the best I have ever tried. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. Cannot wait to come back and try dessert. If I lived closer, I would be a regular for sure. Definitely make a reservation. It is very small inside and fills up fast.

Yelp
Delightful little place in Gahanna. Came in for dinner on a Tuesday night, around 5:30. Had a reservation for 6:00, but was immediately seated. Service was fast and food was delicious. Waitress brought a basket of garlic bread to the table, which was delicious, though unexpected. Had the chicken parm which was OUTSTANDING. Not a dollop of red sauce, but a half cup on top of the pasta, very well done. Chicken was delicious, too. Daughter had the baked penne in a meat sauce which was also outstanding. Finished with a cannoli and bread pudding. Both were outstanding. This place is really small, less than a dozen tables. Felt like we were eating just outside the kitchen, because, we were. Owner makes a habit of talking to everyone, most of which I think he knows. Very happy we found the place and will come back again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
This cozy trattoria seats only about 30. You're met with friendly staff and familial energy upon stepping in. While the tables and booths are close together, there are choiceful partitions to make your experience more intimate. The restaurant is decorated with European art, family photos and hand-painted Italian landscapes. You immediately notice the red and white tablecloths, akin to the ones you might see at a busy strip of restaurants in Rome. I had heard all about the meatballs so I knew that was a must order. I was set on ordering the spaghetti and meatballs but then saw the Giuseppe's sampler which would include that, eggplant parmesan, AND meatball lasagna. As someone who likes to try a little of everything, I could not pass up the sampler. Zach and I ordered that to share and coupled it with shrimp and lobster ravioli which is topped with a creamy sauce and more shrimp. While we enjoyed everything, I have to say the meatball lasagna was my favorite to my surprise! Of the three dishes in the sampler, I thought that was the one I would like third best but it came in first. We bookended our pastas with salads, which all come with house-made sauces, and the tiramisu. I wouldn't skip either of these courses, especially the tiramisu. The consistency was perfect, spongy but not too much. Rich in flavor but not overly sweet. Overall the food and value are both top notch (you'll probably have leftovers), and I quite enjoyed the ambiance. As a bonus, several of their wine pours were under $10. When you go, you'll want to book a reservation ahead of time given the restaurant size.

Yelp
I don't understand all of the reviews for this place. it is non è buona e sicuramente non è autentica cucina italiana.
google avatar

Margie W.

Yelp
I think this place has solid Italian food, but it may have been overhyped so my expectations were high. The standouts were the service, desserts, and bread. (And the limoncello cocktail was delicious!) The atmosphere is very cramped, but we ended up striking up a conversation with the friendly couple who sat next to us. Overall it's worth trying out and the food is good, but not particularly mind-blowing. Would be a great place for appetizers, desserts and cocktails. They should add a bar.

Yelp
If you're wondering if you should try Lola & Guiseppe's, the answer is yes, you should. I had heard about this little gem for quite a while from some colleagues and finally was able to give it a try. Importantly, it is reservation only. It is located in a strip-mall type area in Gahanna with parking right out front. The inside is way smaller than I was expecting, but it adds to a quaint, European feel. There are roughly ~10 tables total, about half of which are for two people. The service was very prompt. We started off with cups of onion soup and wedding soup. They were both good, but we preferred the onion soup. The marsala wine gives it a nice after kick! They also brought out complimentary garlic which was phenomenal. For entrees, I tried the chicken parmesan. It normally comes with spaghetti and marinara on the side, but I switched it to rosa cream sauce (a mix between marinara and alfredo). It also came with a hearty side of green beans. My SO got the meat lasagna with alfredo sauce on top. The chicken parmesan was delicious and had a very nice crispiness. I thoroughly enjoyed the rosa cream spaghetti and cooked green beans. I would get this dish again in a heartbeat. For dessert, I tried the carrot cake and my SO got a cannoli. The carrot cake was huge and I took most of it home. Overall, we were very happy with Lola & Guiseppe's and would definitely come back! For the quality of the food, the prices are extremely reasonable.

Yelp
Delicious food great service will be back again soon. I've been there many times over the years have never been disappointed.

Yelp
The best pasta in Columbus, hands down! They also have a bakery a few doors down, which is worth checking out. The place is very relaxed but small; they have a patio open during the summer, which is nice. Check it out if you have never been!

Yelp
The food and service was fantastic. The owner greeted us and asked how the food was. We got our food and drinks quickly. I ordered the crab and lobster linguine special and it was delicious. The seafood and linguine were tender. The tomato based sauce was incredible.

First, make a reservation. Second, get the bruschetta. Everything was wonderful and tasted spot on. I had feels like I was sitting in my grandma's house eating a Sunday supper. It was that good. Popular small place and has a bakery a few doors down. Don't skip dessert.

Yelp
So I think I need to stop trying Italian food in Columbus. Every restaurant I try, just seems to be average and nothing great. I have a lot to say about the food and the services. First let me discuss the poor service we received. My significant other and I made a reservation at 7:00 pm and were not seated until 7:35 pm. We were completely ignored and not provided any updates or told sorry for your wait. When this has happened in the past at other restaurants, usually someone would ask if we wanted to order drinks or look at the menu. I was just surprised by the complete lack of trying from the staff. At 7:20 pm, I inquired why there were a bunch of open tables. They book all tables in their restaurant and will only seat 2 people at their small tables. I feel like to avoid having people wait I recommend they need to come up with a new system, since if this happens often they may be losing business. It just seemed like they had many open 4 seating tables that could have been used, but chose to make customers wait instead. Once we were seated service was average. There was no apology for the wait and the staff were neutral, not exactly pleasant. However, since I read the reviews, despite the poor service I was greatly looking forward to the food, which was subpar. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and wedding soup while my s/o ordered veal. Both of our dishes came with a side of spaghetti. The soup was probably one of the worst wedding soups I have tried. The broth was good, but the chicken bits they added to it were really dry. The eggplant was okay. It was thick (too much for my taste), but tender. The breading was nicely fried. However, they didn't put much cheese or sauce on the eggplant so it was a bit dry. The taste of the eggplant was also bitter and not the most pleasant. The spaghetti was al dente, but tasted like typical spaghetti I would buy from the store. It was tossed in sauce and was very plain. The sauce didn't have much flavor and tasted acidic. The veal was cooked well, but not that flavorful. It was breaded nicely and topped with a good amount of cheese and sauce. Overall I'd say these dishes were rated around a 3. Lastly, for dessert, we ordered a cannoli. The shell was light and crispy. The filling had good flavor, but the texture was a little too runny. I do not plan to go back to this restaurant and was disappointed with my experience. Based on the cannoli I do plan on checking out their bakery. I hope that I will have better luck there.

Yelp
We were visiting for the weekend and found Lola & Giuseppe's on Yelp. The food and service were great and very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.

Yelp
This place is a delight!!!! I've tried Many different things on the menu over the course of several visits! Some favorites include: the lasagna with Alfredo on top, their salad with home made dressing and their cheesecake! Seriously the best cheesecake ever. Service is always quick and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious

Yelp
A good find in Gahanna! You will definitely need a reservation but so very worth it. Great food, super friendly service. I went with the chicken parm but swapped out for Alfredo. Also tried the sampler and the Giuseppe's salad. A ton of food. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
I don't think there's one bad thing on the menu here. Tonight was our second night in, and between the exceptional food and friendly service...it keeps reeling us back for more! From what I know, Lola & Giuseppe were the original owners who sold off the restaurant to new folks and also gave them their secret recipes as well. I'd say the new owners are doing a phenomenal job with this place and continuing the legacy. I highly recommend reservations in advanced, and you'll have to either call or text them for that. You can't do it online, which I admire! My favorite thing to get here is the build your pasta: rigatoni, pesto cream sauce, chicken. I crave this like no other! Other things that are good here are the pasta fritta, wedding soup, chicken parmesan, and baked rigatoni. Like I mentioned, I don't think there's anything bad on this menu. They put a lot of love in care into everything, I can tell. We'll be back, thank you again for a great evening!

Yelp
The service excellent. The food not as good as Olive Garden. Disappointed in spending $100 with tip. The pasta Frittata was dry and besides looking fancy it tasted awful.. I've had Carfagna's too and it was amazing. Nope so sad. They never ask if we were celebrating and we were :(. The table was so tiny yet they had real estate in the bathroom which was also directly next to a table, so it could have been worse I guess. I had the veal risotto it was chewy. The risotto had a good flavor but needed salt and was gloopy. My husband had the chicken parm good but ordinary. I tried his spaghetti too. Eh. I regret waiting six weeks. .

Yelp
Amazing food supper great service and waitstaff. Stop and grab a carry out for my wife. They prepared me the daily special in a very short period of time. This gave me an opportunity to observed the staff wait on other customers, and I was highly impressed.a

Yelp
Tried out this place on a busy Friday night. The restaurant was small, however we had reservations. The waitress was very friendly and the owner checked on us several times. We started with the pasta Fritto. The appetizer was delicious. The outside had a nice crispy crust. I ordered the chicken parmigiana for dinner with a side of Alfredo sauce. The chicken was seasoned nicely with a crisp crust. It was Paired with spaghetti and marinara. The side dish of Alfredo sauce was excellent and full of flavor. The homemade bread has a nice garlic olive oil rub. I finished my meal with the cannoli. It had a creamy filling with the crispy outside crunch. Will Definitely be going back!
