It was our first time at Lola, and we were amazed by how kind the two hosts were. They were impressively attentive and friendly.
When my partner arrived with a bouquet, they immediately provided a vase of water. When we left, they helped us get the flowers back and dried them with a tissue. If you're used to the average service in Austria, these things really make you feel welcome.
The food was really good, too. I've been to Spain about ten times in my life, and this place was authentic. It's not just an average tapas bar; I'd say it's more upmarket in terms of both portions and quality. They even brought an amuse-bouche which was a clear sign that we weren't in an average tavern.
The atmosphere was pleasant too, and the location was small and well curated.
In my opinion, the prices are aligned to the quality of the food, the service, the location and current restaurant prices in Vienna.
