Clean and friendly environment, kids included. But the food was beyond delicious!! We tried the burgers, nachos, and taco salad. All was fresh, perfect to order, and large portions. Even the fries were super good!! The server, Whitney, was pleasant- friendly and nice to the kids, and not over the top. Knew exactly how to time and pace the meal. Definitely be back!

Jonathan was a great waiter very helpful and honest . Food was very disappointing, menu is so creative but the food doesn't back it up The entire place needs a facelift or maybe a good cleaning would do. Visually horrible Prices are so high and food is not worth. We wouldn't mind paying top dollar if it was worth thou . Not here . Not sure if we will be back On the bright side the dessert guava empanada was really good .

I want to start by saying I have lived in Jacksonville all my life and I did not know of this place and I’m so glad I do now!!!😂 The food WAS AMAZING ! The atmosphere is inviting and really refreshing. My waitress Amber was really cool and so sweet. She knew a lot about the restaurant’s history and also made some really good recommendations. I seen the instagram post with the food and location and I just had to try them out and IT WAS WORTH OT! The portions are really good sized and the food is fresh and SEASONED DOWN TO THE BONE! This is my new favorite place to go to for happy hour drinks and food now.

We happened upon Lola's, and I'm thankful we did. It's a smaller restaurant with a great vibe. The staff was on their game, our food came out hot, and it tasted amazing. The Caso was some of the best I've had. Definitely added this to our list of favorites.

Everything was great. Dessert was decent but I wasn't a fan. Could have just been me. The Los burger was on point. Queso was good. Chips decent. French fries were great. Good seasoning. My only complaint was it was very warm inside. I cant take away stars for that. It couldn't been a day something was broken. I will definitely go back for the burger alone. Looking forward to trying the rest of the burgers

Pleasantly surprised by this place all around. We don’t come downtown often with 2 young girls, but we drove up here after ice skating and it was the perfect meal. Our server accommodated us well letting us try all 3 salsas, kept our drinks full, and updated us as the meals were coming out. The food was delicious from the tenders to the quesadilla, to the burgers - a complete hit! Fries are the best we’ve ever had. We took the salsa to go we liked it so much, and when we come back downtown, Lola’s will definitely be on our list!

Honestly the food looks better than it tastes. Had no flavor but the plate is big and the prices aren’t terrible

I come here all the time it is a great place. The food is always good. Service is always fast and friendly. I got nachos and it was a good potion size you will not leave hungry here.

This is one of my regular 'spots'. I have to go here once in awhile for the margaritas, steak taco, chips, salsa and queso! The margarita menu is like no other and their happy hour menu allows you to try more than one! I've heard all of the food is good but I can't seem to get past their tacos. My son loves the burritos - they are HUGE!!! The street corn is popular as well. The prices are reasonable. In nice weather, I love to sit on the patio and people watch. Also, dogs are allowed on the patio and that's always fun. My daughter used to take her Yorkie with us when we'd go to Lola's. It can get loud during the dinner hour and during trivia. But I have to say, they have some of the best servers in the area - many have been there for a long time which says a lot about the camaraderie and atmosphere of the venue. Bonus - it's within walking distance of the Cummer and the Riverside Arts Market - it's a great location with lots to do in walking and cycling distance. We often go to the arts market first and then walk over to Lola's after...... I gave it a four because sometimes the tables aren't bussed in a timely manner and sometimes the restrooms need to be cleaned.

Was here on a Sunday so I did the brunch tacos. There were three with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheddar jack cheese. It also came with a side of potato hash that was soooo good. My son had the chicken quesadilla which was large. Most items on the food menu are large portions. My bloody Mary was good and even though it was spicy, it wasn't over the top. Will be back to try some other menu items.

Our Go-to Burrito joint! We don't live near Five-Points, but make the trip to Lola's! Lola's has great food, fun vibe and great location. It is lovely to sit in the little porch area. The food is fantastic, the prices are right, and service has always been great, even when they're slammed, which is often.

We got catering/takeout for a taco bar - fresh ingredients and came with fresh limes and cabbage slaw, so not your standard taco! The chicken and beef were really tasty and the portions were generous. It was nice to have the flexibility to make our own tacos

I'm a pretty regular here. It a good chill late night option. They have very good service and an amazing late night menu. Typically my go to is the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner Burrito which is to die for! Also the late night menu is great!

We have never been to Jacksonville before and this place was walking distance from our Airbnb. The prices were amazing! We went on a Wednesday and they have happy hour all day. The food was super good they have many vegetarian/vegan options. Large menu, excellent service! Would highly recommend if you are in the area, no complaints!

Started off with the Berry Berry Good Margarita!! Had the Havana Nights Burrito!! Sooo GOOD!! With the sweet plantains!!! Our server was super cool and knowledgeable!! Recommend some great pairings!! Always a good time at Lola's!! Everyone is so friendly & the music adds to the ambiance! You can't go wrong here!! The burgers are really great too!!

One of our many visits to Lola's this past Sunday. In the past, we have had pretty much every burger and Quesadilla on the menu. All excellent. The Yucca fries also come highly recommended. We have also gone during the week for drink specials and they have an excellent selection of margaritas. The Mexican food is good. Whereas the burgers are 5 stars, these selections are good, really good but closer to 4 stars. Overall 4.7 our of 5. Inside is cozy and often features sports. There are high tops outside with fans. Dogs are allowed and that's always a plus for us. Every time we've gone, the service has been impeccable. The staff is top notch. We did not try the brunch specials this time but we will be back for sure. This is a staple for us.

Since we ordered carrot, I can't comment on the ambiance. We ordered thru chow now and it was quick and easy. Our food was ready in about 20 minutes and pick up was easy. My burger was ordered as medium and cooked perfectly. My fries were perfectly crispy on the outside. My husband's beef chimichanga was enough for two meals.

Tried this place while in town based on their good reviews. Got a good parking spot off the street right in front of the place. Inside looked cool and had a good feel. I tried the Wet Willie Burrito because it looked like a house special. It came with everything and was huge! I swear it was every bit of two pounds. It was very tasty and I enjoyed it but did not finish it. The meal also came with free house chips and salsa which was nice. Very fresh and delicious. Service was great. Very friendly and fast. If I was local I would love to come back here and work my way through the menu. So many items looked good that I wanted to try. Next time I'm in town I would be sure to stop by again!

Been coming here a very long time. Got lunch with family today and Kalee was excellent! She thought of EVERYTHING! She is soooo good at her job. I will be visiting again! Oh yeah... and the food was amazing as always! We got chips and queso, a burrito, a burger and fries, and quesadillas! All YUMMY! Had lots of things on the menu... have never gone wrong with anything!

As one walks through the door of Lola's and waits to be seated, the "lady on the motorcycle" is perched just above, near the ceiling, setting the fun tone one might expect here. Additional interesting and amusing wall art contributes to the lighthearted mood. I was promptly seated and my server was Johnny on the spot to take my order. To drink, I ordered their Tijuana Margarita made with tequila, tropical vodka, guava juice, pineapple juice, splash of sour mix, grenadine sinker, and a sugar rim. ($6.99). Described on the menu as "Old fashioned Mexican madness", we'll I'm not sure about that ha, but it was extremely good and one of the best I've had. For my entree, I ordered their "Wet Willie" burrito. It's a monstrous two pound (+) burrito consisting of Latin-seasoned beef, refried beans, cheese blend, guacamole, Lola's rice, sour cream, cabbage, diced tomatoes, and all covered in Lola's wet burrito sauce ($15.97). One may choose the option of covering it with Jalapeño cheese sauce for additional $1.77. I chose not. It was approximately 15 minutes for my meal to arrive. It was steaming hot. I wasn't sure if I would be able to eat the whole thing but it tasted so delicious (and I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast) that it disappeared rather quickly. Truly one of the best burritos I've had! My server was friendly, efficient, and came by to check on me throughout my meal. 4 Hearty Stars for Lola's! It has a lot of good things going for it. I enjoyed good food, good drinks, and was provided prompt and efficient service. The non-complimentary chips and salsa prevented a higher rating (for me). Check this place out.

Excellent service (Meghan), excellent food and such a nice vibe! How could I forget the famous Lola's in riverside ?? I was craving Mexican food and remembered about this gem that I use to frequent back in the day. I love that they have so many veggie and pescatarian options and of course that the food is so tasty! Definitely a place to visit!

Lola's Burritos For people from the Southside/Baymeadows area Riverside is like Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory . There are many colorful murals and psychedelically draped cafe patios and windows. At any one moment as you walk the blocks and streets from one enclave to another you can find yourself in Zurich, Hamburg, Dublin or Santorini. You can also get your palm read, your reefer card, some smoked Kava or a micro brew. You better have an open mind and a pair of skinny jeans . No one could ever describe any of my jeans, or pants or shorts as skinny. I fluctuate between a 38 and and a 42 waist at a towering 5' 11". That does however happen to be the ideal endomorphic body type for consuming craft burritos and tacos . Like Charlie and his Golden Ticket I headed to Jacksonville's cultural Disney Land for a long overdue ride on one of Riversides main attractions Lola's Burritos and Burger Joint. Greeted promptly and very courteously I was sat at a large booth facing the bar in a very festively decorated dining area. It's more(decor) EDC meets Tex-Mex than pure Latin/Mexican. It reminds me of my Day of the Dead make-up fetish. Mildly hungover from my "Sunday is my Friday" night out I ordered a Bloody Mary for a little Hair of the Dog. The menu is clever and taunts you with varietal flavors and cross-cultural originals. Like the Yucky Yucca Fries with Jalapeño Queso and Chorizo and the Cajun Gator Tail Taco. I honestly wish I'd ordered three of these suckers. But the Big Show was the Bought the Farm Burrito with chicken, pork and steak. It was massive and lived up to the pics I'd seen. Every item was prepared fresh, came out hot and each bite was better than the last. I enjoyed both the traditional salsa, their homemade pineapple salsa and some tomatillo (or maybe it was verde, I can't remember and don't know the difference). For dessert, and this was the real French Kiss for me, was the Plantini . Sweet fried plantains topped with ice cream and sauce. It was one of the most delicious after meal treats I've ever had. During my visit my server Len(think his nickname is No-G) checked on me regularly. I was lucky to get to meet previous owner and now operator Carlos Ramirez. Carlos is a very affable guy, passionate and cool. Certainly the type of fellow I'd love working for. He invited me back and I'm convinced my experience was par for this great establishment. Get to Lola's ASAP and don't forget extra Gator tacos and the Plantini -- eating lunch with Carlos A. Ramirez at Lola's Burrito & Burger Joint.

Ate here after doing the soap making class next door( studios of Florida school of holistic health from Groupon). The instructor recommended this young hip Tex Mex joint next door called Lola's since I was starving. This was a pretty good recommendation. I walked into a retro-style bar/restaurant that had some New Age music with real cool vibe. They seated me in a booth where I could watch football. That was a plus. The waitress answered all of my questions and I ordered the nachos half order and three tacos. I ordered two margaritas which were both bomb dot com. But To sum up the food up, I'll say it was ok. It was basic(I had shrimp, beef, and gator) tacos that were slightly salty and the nachos already filled me up which were actually really good. I'd eat here again if I was in the area. This place has a real sporty vibe and during football season I think it will be crowded. 4/5 is what I rate this spot.

Delicious food, definitely worth trying asap, service has been great I've ate in and had it delivered, always great. Ambiance is just what you'd expect from a bar and Mexican restaurant, just right.

This place has huge burritos, delicious margaritas, and great service. I ordered the Carnitas burrito covered in queso and it was yummy. I also tried their guac and pork rinds and they fresh and crunchy. Their mango margaritas were so flavorful I enjoyed the beautiful Day of the Dead decor. There is also plenty of street parking.

Food was excellent. Staff super friendly. Manager took time to speak with me. I have eaten Burritos my whole life and look for places like this. The food is outstanding. The flavor profiles are insane. Highly recommend. You can't get there quick enough.

Ambience was great. An excellent place to grab a table outside with a marg and people watch! The portion sizes were great. We went with sweet Thai chili wings with jalapeño ranch for dipping and the carnitas quesadilla which was delishishly cheesy! Also made new friends with the neighboring table and their sweet girl

The food was fantastic. For the price, you get huge portions. The service was friendly and super attentive. It's a very cool place, with great decor and local influence. Highly recommend.

We went to Lola's tonight after a while and we were disappointed . I thought I'd try the paella. The manager came out and said that they were out of mussels, so I said add extra calamari instead. When the dish came out had no calamari at all. It did have extra fish and shrimp but it was greasy and unappetizing. My friend's chimichanga was way too greasy as well. My wife's taco salad, the street corn, and the chips with 3 dips were fine. The manager did discount our bill but overall it was not the experience we always had at Lola's.

Love Lola's just wish they had more of a variety for dishes. Most items are in a shell of some sort. However, food that we do get is always tasty. Watch out for the chorizo bc it is very spicy!! Staff is always very friendly and the day of the dead decor I dig.

Yumminess abounds at Lola's. My daughter and I were in the area and decided to stop by for a snack. We opted for the Mexican Corn and the Yucky Yucca Fries with Chorizo. Service was a bit slow, but mainly due to one person on the floor and working outside as well. May have been because of the time of day (mid-afternoon), but can't fault the server as she was running around trying to handle it all. Drinks came out promptly, and we chatted while waiting to give our order, and it gave us time to review all the great food they offer. The Mexican Corn is amazing. They will split it for you to share, which was nice. It is fresh, cooked to perfection, and covered in yummy cheese. The Yucca fries were also cooked well, covered in a cheese sauce and chorizo. They had such wonderful flavor. Just a bit of heat from the chorizo and the cheese sauce was very good. My daughter said she can't wait to come back for a meal to try out their gator tacos. They have plenty of things on the menu that sound terrific.

We went to this establishment for our department holiday luncheon and secret Santa celebration. The waiter, a gentleman with a nice beard, whose name I did not get, unfortunately, was very gracious and patient and dealing with us. We were a larger group, exchanging gifts, while trying to put an order in for food. The weather was great and had some wonderful recommendations. I had the nachos with ginger, tofu, small portion, thank goodness, and it was not only filling but fantastic flavor! I definitely would do that again. Only downside is chicken is only chicken thigh something I will not eat. Overall, this local establishment is definitely worthy of five stars. Thank you to the waiter again I wished I got his name to give him full credit.

This was my first experience at Lola's Burrito and Burger Joint, but it won't be my last. This hands down was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The menu has a wide selection of unique items that really got me excited. It's been a long time since a menu has made me excited to try some food. I came solo for lunch and sat at the bar. I was greeted and offered a drink really fast. The waitress was so sweet and did a great job making a Spanish Harlem Margarita. That margarita was delicious and refreshing. I purchased a second one. For my appetizer, I tried the Mexican Street Corn which I can say was probably the best I've tried in Jacksonville. The sweet corn was complimented perfectly with Cotija cheese and Lola's adobe sauce. I did pick off the cilantro, but the few pieces I ate did not make me dislike this delicious fried corn. Moving on to the entree. The serving size was huge. I was torn between Lola's Secret Garden (veggie option), and the Chooie's Chimmy (steak option). After talking with my waitress, I was sold on the Chooie's Chimmy. I was not disappointed at all. The steak was seasoned perfectly, and the mojo lime aioli sauce was fantastic. I was tempted to ask how it was made because I would hands down make that sauce at home if I could. Also, if you want extra cheese over your burrito, it's a small upcharge. Honestly, I think the Chooie's Chimmy is perfect naked without the extra cheese, but I'm sure the cheese is excellent as well. The food was so tasty, but I still wanted more for later, so I ordered a lamb burger which was so amazing if you enjoy lamb. It reminded me of a lamb gyro except in a burger format. I loved it. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. I did not need to add on any extra condiments. Also, the fries were very tasty and went great with the burger. I can't wait to bring some friends to try this place. There were a few more menu items I can't wait to try such as the curry dip. I love anything with curry, so I know it's probably amazing.

The food was okay, nothing wrong with it... just bland. We got the chips and salsa appetizer, it came out really quickly but we only got a hand full of chips. Unfortunately that's the only thing that came out quickly; We went on a Tuesday so I expected it to be a little busy but I waited twenty minutes for my drink and about an hour for our food. The service was really slow.

Food & service was great! Enjoyed the atmosphere too! All the servers seemed very sweet. There was a male manager with a mustache who was being rude to one of his employees (she seemed great!) other than that, loved the place - thanks for lunch!

I and my wife had burgers for pickup from this place. Burgers were better than what you get from a typical fastfood place. Wish the burgers were a little bigger for the price we paid.

Neat place but it is just okay. Have visited twice now because of the convenient location but regretted the second time after remembering that the food is just okay. Go try a few other local favorites for better food for your money. Do order- queso or empanada (waiter said they're handmade) Don't order- tacos (small and underrated), fries (didn't seem very fresh) Lots of drink specials mentioned on the walls but not sure they actually apply. No deals on the actual menu or mentioned by the wait staff...if they had a clear,official happy hour then I think more people would come and it would be worth a visit.

We started with half order of nachos which is plenty enough to share for two people. We also had a house salad to share. I ordered the surf and turf burrito which was very rich. I liked it but I will try something different next time. Service was quick and I appreciate Jocelyn for telling us that the half nachos order was sufficient. I also noticed that the beef on the nacho was a tad salty which made me drink more of my ice water and I got full to enjoy my burrito. Next time , I will try the burgers.

Had a GREAT lunch with my family at Lola's! We ordered chips and salsa to start. The salsa is mild but really good. The chips were hot when they reached our table and very tasty. The chips were not really salted or seasoned. The kids had a kids basket of chicken tenders and fries. They must have loved them because both finished it all and it was a pretty large serving! I had a fajita bowl all the way, with chicken. Plenty of rice and black beans topped with fajita seasoned chicken and melted cheddar cheese. It included fried onions peppers and mushrooms, all topped with sour cream, guac and salsa! I was so full, no need for dinner! The place is decorated very cute, the service was friendly and good. I'm sure like everywhere, nowadays they are short staffed but everyone smiled and continued to check back often, refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant fits in great with the neighborhood but I do wish we had a Lola's in St Augustine! You can't beat it!

I came here with a friend of mine and we both ordered the ragin cajun burger cooked medium with fries. It was made to order but lacked a bit of seasoning and punch. I was expecting to have a spicy burger but I felt like it was a lacking in that department. Overall I'd go back and try more menu items. The staff were friendly and attentive. They do offer specials throughout the week as well as happy hour. Fun spot for anyone and everyone! The establishment is clean and the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. However the path to the bathrooms is narrow and could cause issues for people who use wheelchairs, walkers, or canes.

Was super excited to try this place tonight, as I have been wanting to try it for years but just never got around to it. When we first got there, we were stuck behind a indecisive gentleman with unkempt hair who was adamant he needed an outside table so his family could dine with their dog. Once his dilemma was solved, we were promptly greeted and seated. We were seated in a large spacious booth which was quiet and pleasant until they seated a rowdy group of six behind us. The group brought in their own alcohol, played music from someone's phone at the table and played cards at the table. All while cursing loudly and ruining the dinner of everyone seated around them. Our server was a little slow getting to the table but once he did, he was courteous and attentive but service was still slow throughout the meal. We ordered the trio sampler of tortilla chips with guacamole, salsa and queso which while a little pricey ($16) was a great appetizer. Their chips are a little thicker cut than most places which was a plus for me. My wife ordered the shrimp No papers burrito with street corn which she enjoyed. She said it had a lot of shrimp in it. I ordered the barbecue chicken burrito served wet (covered with red enchilada sauce) and chips which was a good meal. The servings are large but I found out my burrito did not have any smoked corn or tomatoes in it which it was supposed to. Probably won't go back.

First time eating at Lola's and I mean WOW. Loved everything about the place and would definitely love to have drinks there more often. The Margaritas are made so PRETTY! Our server Jonathan was super polite and made sure we were taken care of before and after our meal! To the hardworking chefs in the kitchen! YALL KILLED IT! The burger was BURGERING, the BURRITO was made for a KING and know that everything was finished for leftovers the next day, because it was still just as good as when it was served ! Hi everyone! This is my Local Hang out place! Lunch,Dinner or Late Night Snacks. Great Food but Better People and Totally happy people. One day it's the local boys having lunch or a special happy moment with a wonderful woman with a generous spirit! It's just a fun place with good food! Thanks everyone for hanging with me. The food is pretty solid. The service is pretty good. Make sure to stop by for happy hour!!

This place was absolutely amazing. The ambiance is very chill and inviting. It had a day of the dead theme which gave me some hesitations initially, but the food was very much so invigorating and flavorful. The service was impeccable! All the waitresses seemed happy to serve. Our server Hope was very patient with my hubby and I. She gave her honest opinions of the various items on the menu, including drinks. The food came out within 10 minutes. We ordered the Yucky Yucca fries. My husband had a burrito with chicken that tasted amazing. I had their staple Wet Willy burrito. I asked to have my guacamole on the side and added the Lola jalapeño cheese sauce. I'm embarrassed to say I ate the entire burrito, which is very big and loaded (it comes packed with 2lbs of beef). Please do try the street corn. It was cooked to perfection and the best we've ever had. Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of the burritos. We dug in so fast that the pic was an afterthought.

This place was super busy. I came at thirty minutes before close because I figured it would be dying down. Upon coming into the door, the server says they're no longer seating. As I made my way to the bar to place an order I couldn't tell who was taking orders. The bar tender was also the person taking orders. First I was not acknowledged,He said I needed to wait. The waitresses at the computer ignored me and were too busy to help. I saw a familiar face and decided to grab the manager Carlos ,from the help event. Flashed him a smile as I ordered my corn and a margarita to go. He asked if I wasn't anything else? I said, maybe the burrito I got during the Yelp event. He immediately recognised me and said "Michelle right?" I was so excited. He said he'd hurry for me. Y'all, this man did wonders, within 5 minutes, I was drinking my margarita to go. Within 20, I had my burrito and corn. Loved the special treatment, getting in and out.

It's a bit out of the way but they have the best Empanadas, street corn I haven't got around to trying anything else but I'm sure there all pretty tasty! Plus it's in a good area right off riv

The service there is very nice and always helpful. The food isn't always consistent. I would give it another try one more time. I've only had it twice.

The ground beef was seasoned to perfection. I also had the The Wet Willie Burrito which was huge and covered in cheese sauce and included 2 lbs of meat. I definitely had leftovers. Our waitress and the management was phenomenal! We will definitely be adding this to our list of favorite places.

My cousins and I came to Lola's for dinner after being on a sunset cruise in downtown Jacksonville, and it was an interesting experience. The ambiance was unique and very decorative with brick walls and banners across the restaurant. I could not tell it was a Mexican restaurant from the decor, so that did throw me off. The menu was good and had a good variety of Mexican food and burgers as well. Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs, so that made my dining experience very worthwhile. The food itself was a different story. We ordered Yucca fries as an appetizer for the table, and they were fantastic! I ordered the winner winner chicken dinner burrito for my entree and I was disappointed. It had no flavor and was very bland. I was hungry, so I did eat it and made the most of it, but it was not the best burrito I had ever had. The Yucca fries were much better than my burrito. The chips and salsa were Ok as well,but not great. The server was wonderful and excellent to our table , so that made a difference, but the food itself was very low quality in my opinion. If I come back to Jacksonville to visit my cousins, I would not come back here for dinner, mainly because of the food. It is a great place to hang out at the bar for a drink, but that's probably it for me. It was an interesting dining experience for sure, but not worth coming back to revisit.

Ahhhh Lola's. Lola's is...simply put...quintessential Riverside. This place needs no introduction, it's been a neighborhood staple for years and will continue to go the distance, pandemic or not. I popped in for lunch, because spending the morning doing laundry gives me the serious "hangries," and if you've ever been to Lola's, you know that they cater well to the famished and food-deprived. From the boundless variety of beers on tap and signature margaritas to the monumental plate-sized burritos, Lola's got the goods to pacify the most voracious of appetites. Whenever I visit any Mexican or Tex-Mex eatery, chips and salsa are my must-have starter. At some places it's complimentary, some places it's not, but honestly I don't mind paying, especially if the chips are piping hot and the salsa is garden-fresh with a touch of heat, like Lola's. For $3.47, you can choose between 3 varieties of salsa, the Original (my choice), Tomatillo, and Pineapple Cilantro. The serving is generous enough to feed a small herd of hungry patrons, so as one would expect, I didn't finish, as my main course was still yet to come. Speaking of which.... While most look forward to the diverse variety of Tacos and indulgent Burritos, their Enchiladas are my jam. On this occasion, I chose Carnitas as my filling, smothered in Red Sauce, served with a side of Yellow Rice and Black Beans ($14.47). I'm not sure if there's a charge for a side of sour cream, but I asked for it anyway. The Enchiladas were fork-tender ( the knife was barely necessary), and the scrumptious shreds of pork were complemented by the vibrant flavors of the sauce. The Black Beans and Rice were more than just simple add-ons and fillers as they are with most places. Seasoned well and finished with a dash of Cotija Cheese, they were greedily consumed with no regrets. Honorable Mention goes to the All Hail "The Queen" Burger ($13.47). Bring a bib for this one, because it's loaded with grilled onions, a fried egg, crispy bacon, and melted cheese. It's messy, you'll need a stack of napkins and a canister of wet wipes, but trust me, it's well worth your troubles. This Burger is what all other Burgers aspire to be. If you're somehow able to stave off the food coma and make room for dessert, The Chocolate Nachos is a prime offering. Cinnamon-sugar sprinkled fried strips of empanada dough and flour tortillas, drizzled with chocolate fudge sauce and topped with fresh-cut strawberries and dollops of whipped cream. I got the half-order ($4.97), and it was more than enough to satisfy my post-meal sweet tooth. Landon, glorious Landon was my server on this occasion, and catered to my wants and needs like a well versed professional. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating, drink refills were abundant, and tackled my questions without batting an eye.
