"Does the world (and New York) need another wood-fired pizza and natural wine spot? Probably not, but we’re still glad that Lola exists. While pies topped with robiola and black fig drizzle are the main attraction, try at least one of the non-pizza options, like their housemade rigatoni alla vodka or calamari with tiny spears of fried zucchini. Get a little bit of everything, plus a bottle of barbera to celebrate thrifting the perfect vintage valise to store your throw blankets. For dessert, go for the affogato. Pizza has absolutely no flavor. The cheese is like plastic, the crust super dry and flavorless. I’m sure some people love it…. But not for me. Gave them three stars instead of one - because it’s my fault for trying a different place that delivered as I was too lazy to go to Glenville Pizza to get an amazing pizza.

The people are very nice and it was very clean when i went. The pizza tastes super cheap. Got margherita pizza which had no flavor and a white pizza which looked and tasted like they used american cheese and nothing else.

We wanted to try the new restaurant in town, which was fantastic; we asked for a regular pizza with pepperoni, and they have something called pastor pizza; it was terrific, like eating a taco; the pizza was thin, with a perfect crust, just at the right point if you don't like to taste only bread, was cheesy and not that greasy The owner helped us a lot during the call and gave us a callback to hear about our experience. Allow trying new flavors (: we will be back and try new flavors.
