The space is kinda sparse and there are tables to hang out but, really, you go here for the drinks/treats. And in this, they are completely fine. The watermelon slush is actually fresh cut and blended. All the other drinks are nicely flavored and sweetness level adjustable. And, they also have other treats and a selection of chinese PJs to shop. Seems like it's run by a group of friendly vietnamese ladies who were attentive and helpful with our orders.

Google
Honestly so bad— the Lollicup on Colorado blvd is so good so I figured this would be similar. Vibes are weird, drinks are bad. Mine separated before I left the parking lot and they made the wrong drink for my friend. Hard pass.

Julia Bilderback

Google
7/15/23-About average for a boba place and that's why I gave 3 stars as an average score. The sour plum was actually salty and not sour. Prices of the drinks were also about average.

Google
This is the OG boba shop in colorado! They have been here since I was a kid and I’m 31 so that’s saying something! They have the space the tea and the genuine community feel! They are family owned and definitely try their original tea it’s the go to spot! Oh btw if you want a new coffee shop , that mermaid coffee doesn’t do anything for me, the the Vietnamese coffee is on a whole nother level! Come try their coffee and tea and find out how I can detail 6 cars in a day by my self running on their Vietnamese coffee! You can only consume one! Any more than one cup a day and you’ll be wired, can’t sleep, too active, and if your lactose like me you’ll be a bit unhappy with the second cup consumption.

Google
Inconsistent quality. First visit was pleasant- perfect texture and smooth. However on another visit drink was all ice chunks which made it terribly difficult to drink as with each sip on the straw there were chunks of ice coming up with the boba. Being one of the more pricier joints I’d expect more. A blended almond snow with Boba cost me eight dollars- most places you can get two drinks for the same price.

Google
Layout of the place has a strange mix of things. Thai tea was pretty good. Very friendly service, drinks made quickly. There are options for powdered or fresh fruits.

Erica Augustine

Google
It's fine, the drinks are decent, and there's an interesting assortment of other sweets and snacks. They don't seem to have any signature or custom creations like at other shops.

Jenn Paradise

Google
It was ok. Much different vibe than the Co Blvd location. It is like the Vietnamese family-owned version. It's the same menu and the taro boba came out good but it was hard to order because one of them didn't speak English. The interior isn't as cute or welcoming as the co Blvd one and i wouldn't plan on hanging out there.

Barbara S.

Yelp
Was in the mood for a boba drink! I'm a sucker for anything matcha, and I LOVE Thai tea so when I saw they were promoting a their new drink, Matcha Thai Milk Tea, I knew I had to try it out. I thought it was quite tasty, although to me it kind of had a taste of lavende. My little brother tried it and thought it tasted like horchata... so the taste will definitely vary person to person. I enjoyed it very much, however, it is very sweet and the tapioca pearls didn't taste very fresh. Overall, good experienc!

Yelp
This is actually a really good place for boba. Its a bit pricier due to some of the drinks being fresh fruit, but I actually enjoy that a lot more than the powdery drinks. The durian and avocado fresh fruit is great! blended really well and has a good amount of sweetness thats not overwhelming. The area is kind of hard to get into as its located inside a small shopping center with barely any parking. However, if you're in the area shopping for asian food, this is great place to stop by.

David U.

Yelp
The ladies are rude. They don't really smile and make you feel welcomed, Last Boba tasted like medicine. They need to work on this.

Taylor W.

Yelp
My favorite boba place! I have been going here for years and I didn't even know they sold little sides like fried cheese balls and dumplings which I love! Definitely a must!

Cindy T.

Yelp
Came here twice while visiting for my boba cravings. First time I got tangerine passion fruit which was tasty and perfect mix of tea and flavor. Came here again since I had pho 555 around the plaza for a watermelon slush since it was a nice hot afternoon. I'm usually use to the watermelon juice so this slush is on the sweeter side. I paired it with lychee popping boba which made it a bit too sweet for my liking. My friends tried it and says it tasted like a jolly rancher. Still a reliable boba place to get your milk tea / boba drinks here.

Rachel C.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this location (I usually go to the one on Colorado Blvd.) and this Lollicup definitely has a different vibe, but the same great boba. This location doesn't have the funky decor or manga stuff. It's much more straight-forward and the kind of place you'd pop into rather than linger in. The ladies at the counter were super friendly, the treats and snacks you could buy in addition to the coffees, teas and smoothies were plentiful and delicious-looking, and my boba tea was amazing. I only saw the Vietnamese coffee blend after I'd ordered by boba, but I'd come back on a hot day just for that! There's tons of parking and it's kind of hidden/in the middle of the strip of shops so just park and trust that it's there when you start walking up to the stores. I came days after the Atlanta shootings, and definitely questioned whether I should have been in a predominately AAPI space as a white person, especially in that moment. I love that Colorado has the level of diversity that it does, but in many ways diversity still isn't the right word because Colorado's neighborhoods remain very segregated. I wish my home state was more integrated and welcoming, but I am glad some of these parts of town exist for people who need an area where they are the majority and can (hopefully) feel safer and more at home.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
The friendliest staff! I got the chai tea boba blended drink (with almond milk and low sugar). Perfect for a warm day. The cafe is tucked in a shopping mall area with parking and inside is super clean and organized. Overall great spot to stop for a quick boba fix.

Steven L.

Yelp
I ordered a royal milk tea w/ lychee popping bubbles. The royal milk tea tasted good, but it was sweeter than most bubble teas. The lychee popping bubbles are a great addition to the tea because they give it more flavor and they pop in your mouth! Most of their drinks are under $5 and the extra toppings are 50 cents each. The boba shop is family owned and they are friendly to their customers.

Alexanria J.

Yelp
I was VERY upset. I had filled punch cards that I have been saving it for when I don't have the money to buy myself some boba. I finally went in to used my filled punch card. They said it's too old and refused the filled punch card which does not have any expiration date. I will never go back again!

Eugenia L.

Yelp
Meh, pretty much sums it up. I tried the Royal Milk Tea and just wasn't impressed with it. The drink itself didn't have a strong tea flavor, so you're left drinking sweetened milk. Oh and the worst tragedy was the boba! They had an odd gummy, slimy texture. Not the bouncy, chewy pearls they're supposed to be ideally. The boba bothered me so much I was spitting them out. In the end I didn't even bother finishing the drink.

KELLY M.

Yelp
After dim sum went by this smoothie place for some drinks. There have a wide variety of smoothies, mile tea and coffee. I order a ice Vietnamese coffee. Love the bitterness and hint of sweet and creamy. It really hit the spot. I would recommend people to come in to grab a drink if you are near by. My boyfriend order passionfruit mango.

Roxanne M.

Yelp
Addicted to this place! My usual is lychee tea with lychee popping boba. They have mango popping boba too!

Emma J.

Yelp
The lavender snow bubble was good. The matcha green tea snow bubble on the other hand, not so much. It tastes very dairy/milk/butter like.

Nancy L.

Yelp
Every time we visit my grandparents, lollicup is the place to go to get our bobas! This place has been here ever since I was a little girl. I love coming here and I love their milk teas. The family-owned business is super friendly. We always order more than 10 drinks every time we go here.

Aarti K.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon to satisfy my boba craving and left disappointed. I ordered a regular milk tea with boba, and it was way too sweet that I couldn't even finish the entire drink. Also, the boba was not cooked properly, and it almost tasted like it was old. There was some seating inside and they also sell several packaged snacks/desserts. Overall, wouldn't recommend if you're looking for quality boba drinks.

Melanie T.

Yelp
I am happy that there are other boba places in Denver and Aurora now. I remember when I was in high school and Lollicup used to be the only place you could get boba flavors that weren't smoothie texture. Personally, it was always too sweet for me. Even when I tried it in LA, I was not a huge fan of it. Its a nice introduction because it's one of the original locations for boba in Colorado, but there are so many other options that are better now that have less sugar in it.

Linda W.

Yelp
Probably one of the most artificial tasting boba shops I have ever visited. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a royal milk tea 50% sweetness and Vietnamese coffee. Despite clarifying that I wanted 50% sweetness twice, I'm pretty sure they made my drink with the full sweetness because it was ridiculously sweet and tasted like straight up syrup. The Vietnamese coffee was no better--extremely bitter and washed down coffee that had a sour aftertaste. Definitely will not be returning.

Alyssa N.

Yelp
My siblings and I come here every time we're in the area. The owners are very friendly, service is fast, but parking can be a pain. I usually always get either the taro milk tea with boba, almond milk tea with boba, or Thai tea with boba. Their flavors and sweetness levels are always consistent. Their bobas are always super soft and chewy. They also have really good pudding! Also-- they've got the punch card system! For every 10 drinks you buy, you get a free one. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of your way to come here. There's plenty of other boba places in the area that are better and easier to access.

Anny H.

Yelp
We always visit this place when we are in town! Their bobas are amazing! I always get avocado with tapioca, it's very hard to find a good place that has avocado! This place I've been going to since I was young it never fails my taste buds! There's so much to choose from and you can always find what you're in the mood for, a regular is around $3 and a large is $5. The portion size are great! It's family own and very friendly, when you buy 10 you get one free! It's a must try in if you're in the area!

Samara F.

Yelp
Not even sure how I haven't done a review on this place. I've been going here for years now...at least 13 years lol anyways. In those years not much has changed honestly. One of the goods best charms for sure The owners know us and have always been suuuper nice to everyone that goes in. The variety of drinks is endless and I think anyone should be able to find something to drink here. I like their coffee more than Starbucks. But I usually get snowy slushees, milk teas with boba. Their boba is the freshest around on a consistent basis. There is always plenty of seating. One thing that has changed and not a bad thing by any means is the amounts of snacks they have ready to grab to go along with your drink. A must to check out when you're in the area

MyHanh N.

Yelp
This place really needs to work on their management. It is a poorly run business with below average milk tea. There was at least seven people behind the counter, but when I went up to order not a single person greeted me or took my order because they were too busy watching TV. When a man finally decided to take my order, I had a question and all I could say was "what's the difference between..." before he cut me off and turned around to watch TV. Like wtf??? His daughter saw that I was clearly aggravated by the poor customer service, so she chimed in and answered my question/took my order. I ordered the royal milk tea with boba, which is apparently their best selling tea...I don't know how??? The boba was undercooked and it tasted more like chocolate than any kind of tea.

Shannon Z.

Yelp
Cheers to my first time having Lollicup! Oh my gosh, being an avid boba tea drinker all my life, I feel its such an honor to come try a chain of one the earliest boba tea companies in the game. Lollicup started their business in America in the early 2000's which means they've been in the game for a pretty long damn time. I went to try their jasmine boba tea and my hubby got their taro boba slush. The drinks were excellent, not too sweet but not flavorless either. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm back in Denver. It's also a bonus that this store is located in an area where it's predominantly Asian because after Dim Sum, we came here for boba.

Joyi W.

Yelp
Staff was friendly. I usually like my bubble tea to be decaf and unsweetened. They didn't have decaf tea but was able to deliver unsweentened green tea w boba. I have had many better boba (in Asia though) but this taste pretty ok as well. Will get it again if i happen to be nearby.

Adelio L.

Yelp
This doesn't really seem like any other Lollicup I've been to. Sure they have Lollicup branded cups and stuff, but this is more like a Vietnamese convenience store that just also happens to serve boba. I ordered the watermelon juice with boba and my friend had the strawberry milk tea slush. She asked several times to make sure they could make it into a slush and the lady just nodded her head saying yeah yeah sure we do that. My watermelon juice was neither watermelon or juice it was just plain water with some red sweet syrup stirred in. This place only gets an extra star because they actually made the boba perfect, it was just the right amount of chewy and soft and not undercooked like some terrible places or overcooked. Too bad their actual liquid drink portion is terrible. They also gave my friend a strawberry slush with no milk or tea in it.

Yao H.

Yelp
Found Lollicup on Yelp with good reviews and gave it a try on afternoon. It turned out they had several shops around Denver. The one I went was in an Asian market. They offered different types of drinks, including milk tea with various flavors and toppings to choose from. I had a small size taro milk tea plus boba, had it hot and 50% sweetness. They bobas were chewy while the milk tea was not special at all. They also sell snacks, more of a tiny store.

Sandy L.

Yelp
I've been going here since I was a kid and I know the staff personally. Overall, the drinks here are decent and the boba squishiness varies, some days it's hard some days, some days it's squishy, and some days it's old. The remodel looks good!

Cindy V.

Yelp
Even though there are so many new boba shops Open we still enjoy coming here once in a while. They have amazing avocado smoothies with boba and the royal milk tea with boba is yummy! The ladies who work the counter are so nice!

Meghan C.

Yelp
I hate doing this to small businesses but I really can't recommend this Lollicup. Ordered a regular size almond milk boba and it was 4.50. On top of the ridiculous price it tasted horrible. Both the tea and the boba tasted like plastic. Nope. There is candy and canned aloa drinks. The staff is friendly so maybe buy some of that but skip the boba.

Lindsey N.

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations, considering it's not the cutest and cleanest establishment one has ever seen. Its location is super sketch, but as they say, a person shouldn't judge a book by its cover since lollicup's service and boba impressed me. Not the best boba I've ever had, but it does the trick. My favorite is the royal milk tea, which had a distinct and pleasant Asian tea flavor. I went for the slush option which means that the boba drink is blended with ice to give it an almost frap texture with little ice crystals in each sip. They don't load up the cup with tapioca, which I prefer, because I hate when each gulp is overwhelming with boba. The boba itself is a nice dense consistency, not chewy. The service was excellent. The employees have a comfortable parental feel where the older man cashier was more than accommodating. Super sweet.

Ally W.

Yelp
There are some boba tea places that you just know are sketchy upon entering. You know, the ones that use artificial syrup rather than real fruit juice. The ones that use year-old bobas in their teas. The ones that use cheap, carcinogenic plastic cups that you have heard reports about on Dateline. This is one of them. In an attempt to avoid artificial syrups, I ordered the Thai ice tea with boba, thinking that Thai ice tea is just natural tea, condensed milk, and sugar. Unfortunately, their Thai ice tea seemed to be made from an artificial syrup of some kind, too. It tasted both annoyingly sweet and carcinogenic at the same time. I know all Lollicups are individually owned, but this location seems to be the worst. I have been to other Lollicup locations, and they all seem to have more variety in teas, food, and snacks. This shop is kind of dirty, too. The background music is rap, but their T.V. is also tuned to Judge Judy. I wasn't sure if they wanted customers to be enjoying real rap or Judy Judy rap. 1 star off: dirty shop 1 star off: Judge Judy rap 1 star off: who uses syrup to make Thai ice tea?!?! 1 star off: I didn't know if I was going to die from the sweetness or the carcinogenic-ness of my Thai ice tea

Jamie L.

Yelp
If sketchy and kinda weird-looking kept me out of Asian places on Federal, I'd never have discovered half (okay, most) of my favorite Asian places on Federal. So. This Lollicup is next to one of my go-to Banh-Mi joints, and around the corner from my favorite Dim Sum. I ain't afraid of no strip mall! The couple that runs Lollicup were so friendly my first visit, the gentleman even managed not to laugh at me when I couldn't figure out that you just "Pop" the pointy end of the straw through anywhere on their neat, sealed-after-they-make-your-drink, lid of the cup. Their Vietnamese Coffee Boba was fantastic. Rich and creamy with Sweetened Condensed Milk and fresh Boba... Yes, please. I also watched the lady behind the counter make my Strawberry-Banana Boba... With fresh Strawberries and fresh Bananas. Prices are actually a little cheaper than nearby places with Boba... $4 for the large Vietnamese Coffee suits me just fine! Can't wait to try some of the more exotic flavors, but it's tough to pull me away from that caffeine!

Kat A.

Yelp
I haven't had boba tea since I moved to Denver almost three years ago - the horror! So, after having some pho yesterday, we stumbled through the drizzlesnow (shush, it's a word now) into Lollicup and I was quite pleased with the experience. There were all sorts of treats available, but I merely got a small taro milk tea boba. Yum squared. The women behind the counter were quick and polite, and the store was clean and friendly on the interior. My coworker attempted boba for the first time yesterday and just did not take to the tapioca pearls. However, she did seem to enjoy shooting them out of her mouth rapid fire from the open car window as I was driving us back to the office. We are a very mature bunch. If I had something snappy and helpful to say in Vietnamese here to wrap things up, I would, because that would be neat and very Yelp-savvy. But I don't. I took German in school. That's not helpful at all. I had a tasty boba drink yesterday! Sehr gut! See? It doesn't work. I wonder if they sell German movies subtitled in Vietnamese. That'd be weird, huh? Right then. Good times.

Mila Q.

Yelp
Love love this place it's about time we have a good boba spot. 100% would recommend it I'm not buying just ice enough flavor for sure service is also great

Kaitlyn W.

Yelp
This location should be shut down. Dirty inside that looks like a convince store rather than a boba place.. Awful customer service and they made me the wrong drink. Walked in and asked for a pumpkin vanilla and watched the women look for the pumpkin sauce but never found it. Instead of letting me know this they just gave me a vanilla drink that tasted like pure sugar. Go to the location on Colorado Blvd and avoid this one at all costs!

Sarah T.

Yelp
The boba was flavorless and the teas just weren't that good (bland and a bit on the sour side). I typically like Lollicups (the chain), but this one was just bleh. There was a bit of a language barrier too. I would suggest going to Bambu instead.

Carmella J.

Yelp
My husband and I got lychee snow with bobas and mango snow with bobas and lychee jellies. It was absolutely fantastic! I don't know why people complain about business owners at a boba tea establishment sitting on a chair watching a television as long as they are helpful and serve you. This is obviously a family establishment and what people don't realize are the owners are most likely there from open to close. They have all the right in the world to sit on a stool and watch television if other staff are helping you. Also people complain about it looking like a convenience store when it absolutely does not. It looks like a boba tea establishment with different Asian candy and some American candy which is probably there because they know not all people like Asian candies.

Dawn F.

Yelp
Not exactly cheap, but the best boba smoothie I've had. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood! I had a mango smoothie and my friend had a coffee smoothie. We both had boba balls and they were chewy, not frozen. But, it was around $9 for the 2 drinks, so a little pricey.

Tricia K.

Yelp
I've heard some good things about the frozen yogurt here but if it's anything like the boba, I'd skip it. I've come here quite a few times, whenever there's a long wait at Star Kitchen, whenever I'm stopping by the little Viet market next door, etc... Just don't do it. It's never good and there is always regret. I think it's their ice machine - you know the taste of old ice that comes from a freezer needing a filter change? Like smelling old frozen meat and dirty fingers, except you're tasting the smell. After every sip like a gag reflex. So please. Be good to yourself. And don't order the boba here.

Alison M.

Yelp
Nice lady at the counter. Pretty sure she gave us larges since we didn't ask to purchase smalls. Selection of Asian snacks. Big space.

Denise R.

Yelp
I love this place I think I will be visiting this place a lot this summer best slushies ever they have the Boba drinks in many different flavors

Sarah R.

Yelp
I'm only giving this a three because my boyfriend had a 1 star-worthy better experience than I. Since moving to Denver, boba tea is just not how it used to be. I give this place props because they actually carry milk tea over ICE (cream or snow are the only choices around here!). Unfortunately, the drink was disgusting. Mine has completely separated into some artificial hazard. The raspberry flavor was so overpowering and just didn't taste right at all. I can't even taste any almond flavor which I had in it. It tastes like an unhealthy v8 berry. Nice guy though taking the order. Time to try the next place for bobas.

Khanh N.

Yelp
Thank you for letting me use the restroom. I appreciate everything! I even cleaned it for you... Long awkward story...

Daryl B.

Yelp
Great place! Uses real ingredients and has great service. One of my favorite spots for boba smoothies...

Kim D.

Yelp
Visiting from Dallas and I needed my bubble tea fix. Found this place and no....just no. The decor, the drinks, the bubbles...horrendous! Can't wait to get back to Dallas for my bubble tea fix.

Summer D.

Yelp
I've been to several Lollicups and love the beverage selection they offer. This one I give 5 stars for friendliness and service. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is hard to stay in there very long because it smells bad & it's very pungent upon walking in. The drinks were good, they have some different coffee drinks that I have not seen at other locations. My brother in law had the cookies & cream and really liked it.

Gilliane L.

Yelp
Could barely make out what they're saying and when asked to clarify, they were pretty rude about it. They did not bother with any customer service and were pretty rude throughout the entire transaction.

Amaryllia L.

Yelp
I was visiting Denver and tried doing a search for "bubble tea" on Yelp. Not many results were actually relevant and the first place I tried to go to either doesn't exist, went out of business, or had the wrong address posted. On the way back to my hotel, I saw Lollicup (a familiar name since we have one in Atlanta) and decided to stop. I'm not sure I want to relive the whole experience but it was terrible in every way. 1. This is located in an obviously sketchy part of town since the store front was completely barred up. Nevertheless, I got the courage to go in because appearances aren't everything...right? 2. Once I was inside, 'clean' wasn't exactly the word that came to mind...quite the opposite. 3. I didn't see anyone at all, not even a cashier, until after I stared at the menu for a good period of time. 4. Ended up ordering the standard jasmine milk tea with tapioca since I didn't want to get creative at a place like this...paid $4! Yes, $4 for ONE bubble tea. 5. Bubble tea tasted like 10% tea, %20 sugar, and 70% creamer...bleh. Actual tapioca pearls weren't disgustingly mushy, but it wasn't fantastic either.

Tran L.

Yelp
I've been exposed to the Lollicup on Colorado Blvd so this one falls behind that one. They both have equal stars because this one is MUCH more convenient for me to go to. Federal has traffic but not as annoying and hair tugging as the one on Colorado Blvd. The one on Co Blvd, while there are rare occasions of rude cashiers, this one is very helpful and friendly. Whether it be the man with the mustache or the girl with nice hair and wicked circle lenses. Also, it's in that little strip, so you can grab a bowl of pho at Pho 95 for lunch, Be Le Sandwhich for a "later on" snack, shop a little at Sky Nail Supply and end it with a cup of boba or frozen yogurt. My favorite is Taro =)

Damian W.

Yelp
I order a royal milk tea with pudding. The pudding taste like something out of plastic . I had to spit it out when I was drinking it.
