"For cones with throwback style, head to Lolly’s Creamery. With multiple locations around town, this retro ice cream shop scoops up both classic flavors like strawberry and mint chocolate chip to monthly and limited releases. The wilder options include frosted animal cookie, cheesecake brookie (a mashup of cheesecake, brownie batter, and cookie dough) or bubblegum studded with mini Chiclets." - Tierney Plumb, Adele Chapin

I absolutely love ice cream and had no idea this is more like a kiosk. I walked about 20 minutes and was so disappointed when I got to the window to see they only have like 6 flavors total! 3 of them were vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. So upsetting for an ice cream feen. I will travel for great homemade ice cream. They also do not make waffle cones here. They just order them from a manufacturer. They don’t even come from the other ice cream shop where they make them fresh. I got coffee and vanilla. They do not fill your cup at all. That was disappointing for me. They’re not generous with the scoops. I have never got 2 scoops and it looked like 1! The coffee was good but not very creamy and it melted quick. The vanilla was good as well but same situation. For the price people pay, the two scoops should not be level with the cup. I probably wouldn’t come back to this location again or their other one. My friend got chocolate and she said it was just okay.

I am an ice cream lover and quality always wins over quantity. I love these tiny places that don’t drown you with choices but offer amazing tasting ice cream. The plain Vanilla is absolutely delicious however the Cookie Monster and Coffee were mind blowing.

The milkshakes were messy and tasted terrible. We watched the young girls make a mess in the back making the shakes, and they didn’t even get the order exactly right. The milkshakes tasted like actual soup. They were terrible. We usually wouldn’t complain, but we paid more than $11 per milkshake and really just wanted a treat. My daughter and I asked the blonde older woman cashier if we could have some ice cream instead because we didn’t like the milkshakes. She was rude and said “no, you get what you get and we don’t do refunds” My mother who had paid for the three of us (she got OK ice cream) tasted the milkshakes and agreed with us. We weren’t being picky. My mom is almost 70 years old and has maybe called a restaurant to complain only twice in her life. This is the 2nd time. When the person at Lolly’s picked up the phone they told her she would get a full refund, and they express their sincere apologies. She only got a partial refund. Stick with Ben and Jerry’s for reliability and don’t fall victim to a local place that takes advantage of tourists. (my mom is a local). Lolly’s employees were rude and the local creamery definitely does not stand behind their product. Terrible experience.

Took forever to find this place, and once I did it cost me $40 for two small cones and two milkshakes. The worst part of it all was that after spending that amount of money the lady forgot my daughters sprinkles and when we asked for them she claimed she didn’t ring them up and wanted to charge us for the sprinkles. It’s not that i wanted anything for free, but it was just one more aggravating thing about what was meant to be a fun experience with the kids.

Great ice cream! Would recommend! I got mint both times I went. Went to both the boardwalk and the stand alone.

Amazing and flavorful ice cream. The one on the boardwalk is a perfect spot to stop while walking along the beach. The vibe location is great too and I believe offers more flavors. I love the blue Cookie Monster ice cream. Usually one scoop is enough for me, but I like to share with my husband and get two scoops (although I usually eat most of it lol)

Cute spot with delicious ice cream! Limited flavors, so if you want anything crazy probably not for you, but they make up for that with service and an incredible scoop. A little tricky to find so keep your eyes peeled!

Lazy workers closed before 10:00pm, was really looking forward to some icecream I’ve been to another one of their locations and the icecream itself is great but the service was ok, but at this location it wasn’t even open at 9:40 so can’t rate the icecream but because it wasn’t open I’m just going to say service there sucks! 🙃

Yelp
I'm so excited!!!! Lolly's is right on the boardwalk!!! As we ride our bikes almost every weekend. They had a little sign saying Lolly's!!!! I had to stop. We did have any cash on us but they take Apple Pay. Laurie is almost always out there serving up the best ice cream on the beach. She us sweet herself and super helpful. Thank you Laurie wine will be seeing you again. I'm not sure if all of there hours yet. But on Sunday they are 8 AM to 9 PM. Their super cute Volkswagen front really will help you find them. It is so beachy. Between 28th and 29th street. What great Beach vibes. That is the perfect spot for Lolly's . I am so happy they are there. Ice flavors of course change. They have them listed. They make fresh cones. Or you can go like we did and just get a cup. Either way ya can't go wrong. They also have bottled water and some sodas.

Yelp
Best ice cream in town!!! I love how creative they get with their flavors. Always coming up with fun ones per season. You can even sample them too! My favorite which is one of their signature flavors is Cookie Monster!! I like texture so getting chunks of cookie surprises is the cherry on top for me. Don't leave the beach without trying.

Yelp
Absolutely love the ice cream. A small selection of delicious homemade flavors of ice cream. I had the Cookie Monster and strawberry. The Cookie Monster had lots of oreo and cookie dough chunks which made a great texture. I appreciated how the strawberry did not have any added food coloring and was a good, very fresh strawberry flavor. It was pretty busy and there was a line, but for a good reason. My friend is lactose intolerant and there were only 2 lactose-free options (popsicles) which is why I gave this place a 4. The mango popsicle was good.

Yelp
The ice cream was OK, not great. We went out of our way past other ice cream places to check out this local place because of online hype, and honestly, we were disappointed. It wasn't as good as we expected. I was surprised to be charged extra for cones. Apparently they just started adding a charge for any cones, but there is no mention of it on the signage. (Sign says there is a charge for waffle cones, but nothing about charging for cake or sugar cones. When I asked, they said it was a new policy.) The workers seemed irritated to have to be serving us, and when I asked about the extra charge, they seemed amused that I asked. I suggested they consider adding a note on their signage that they charge for all cones, not just waffle cones, and they just shrugged their shoulders. Skip Lolly's and hit up another local ice cream spot. This was not worth the hype.
