‘Fusion’ and ‘Filipino’ must not be used by this restaurant. The food that I ate was neither fusion nor Filipino. I believe the food is the result of somebody trying to learn how to cook Filipino but ended up creating something terribly off. I got one of the lunch specials (Giniling). It is so bland and has some ingredients put in there that do not belong in a passable Giniling. The champorado it came with was not champorado. The taste is so off, it’s embarrassing they have Filipino advertised on the logo. (To think that Champorado is an easy food to create) As for the soup it came with, if that was some fusion of something they came up with, it’s terrible. Had a few sips of it, and said to myself ‘no, no, no.’ It’s bad that I wouldn’t wish it to be on somebody’s bowl. I love Filipino food and I do like to support Filipino eateries, but this one was very disappointing. I have to mention also, the customer service, what might have been displayed was Vienna welcoming but for someone coming from the Americas, it was also disappointing. The person who led us in the restaurant seems to only want people to come in and eat, but not come in, eat, and enjoy; there’s a big difference there. The person cannot communicate well with the customers and it’s not about the language, it’s about hospitality (just not hospitable).
