Deon our waiter was very nice. I just wana tell em instead of my hubby asking em several times to refill his drink just ask em here & there plz.. i actually had water & he never asked to refill it 😔.. other than that he was good👍 My eggplant parmesan was so delicious (the best ive tasted in la thus far) garlic bread & ice cream mm 😋 pizza was ok.. they dont have any 4 seater tables bummer only booths & 1 two seater table.. as we left the other waiter (female) wouldnt say thanks good bye or anything as if trying to avoid eye contact 🙄 rude.. as we left the 2 ladies at register said good bye thanks for coming have a nice day (super friendly) 🤗 very intimate 🙂 if you dont like small places you could ask for take out..

This restaurant gives a family friendly feel which allows you to feel welcome from the beginning. The food is fresh and delicious, I am a picky eater that was satisfied on several occasions. If you love pizza I highly recommend and they even assist with the first slice.

This long-standing small family Italian restaurant is truly a gem. I ordered the linguine with garlic sauce as the pasta was cooked to perfection. The $3 to make it a combo is the best deal in town, adding salad or soup, garlic bread, ice cream, and a glass of wine! Definitely recommend. I can't wait to try more!

First time here and we loved every minute. We drove from Redondo Beach to Gardena to check it out. It's an old school small restaurant established in 1978, with red booths located in a strip mall on the corner of Redondo Beach Blvd & Van Ness. Everything was amazing. From the service, delicious food, and the best part was the value. Where can you go for a huge meal for $21? Not even fast food anymore. Our combo meal that included smaller portions of each, Lasagna, spaghetti, sausage, and ravioli, was $17.95. We added $3 for a glass of wine, soup or salad, both very good, garlic bread and ice cream. Let me tell you, the Spamoni ice cream had to be homemade as well as the minestrone soup! My mouth is watering just thinking about that dinner! I'm sorry, but I forgot to take pictures of the food because we were so hungry from just the smells coming from the kitchen, that we began eating immediately after it came to our table. There was so much food, we both ended up taking 1/2 of our meals home & enjoyed them the next day. We splurged and purchased a slice of homemade pistachio cheesecake to go. It was $9.95 but large enough for two and did not disappoint!! I'm not sure I want to promote this restaurant because it will be harder to get a table next time, and trust me, there will be a next time! As it was, on a weeknight, there was a wait for a table after 6 pm.

Excellent portions, traditional flavors and excellent service. Used to come here when I lived in the neighborhood WORTH the trip back.

Unbeknown to me this place has been in business for years. My friend invited me here her and her family used to go here when they were kids and when I tell you, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had so good They have a variety of things on their menu, pasta, dishes, meatballs and many other items to choose from the tiramisu for dessert was the icing on a cake. If you’re in the Gardena area, I would definitely encourage you to try this hidden gem

The food was absolutely amazing! The garlic bread was crispy and buttered just right. I got the crispy parmigiana and also the combo #5 for my partner. The food came out quick and service wasn't bad! Felt like they were pre-bussing really quickly and gave us the check in the middle of the meal, but still overall great experience :) They did check on us once and even refilled our drinks. Would come again!

It's always yummy and the prices are great! I got a simple dish of meat sauce with angel hair pasta and made it a combo so it comes with salad, ample garlic bread and a small glass of wine. Yum yum yum

Food is Amoreeee! Chefs kiss. Classic Italian dishes with my favorite cheesy gooey pizza that I legit crave when I think of the cheese pizza from the goofy movie. If you know you know! My other favorite dish is the pink sauce (1/2 Alfredo sauce and 1/2 marinara sauce) spinach ravioli and lasagna. I always get the spumoni 3 flavor ice cream for dessert. Great for a cheat meal or date night with your loved ones. My grandma and dad used to take me here ever since I was a little girl. Sadly it is a little outdated and needs some renovations but it still had that home style feel to it last time I went. It makes me happy and reminds me of my late grandma. There was no wait time either and used to be packed. Hopefully business picks up so this restaurant stays open! I probably had like 1-2 bad waitresses over the many times over been here but besides that they keep really good and friendly workers there that I love! The waitress I had last time was amazing but I didn't catch her name I do remember her cute duck earrings tho! See you next time and thank you so much!

My favorite Italian restaurant in Gardena. Since the one in Brea closed, I drive to Gardena to get my Italian fix. The portions here are huge. Lots of different pasta combinations too. Compare to Buca this place is much better. The decor is outdated but I like it since it gives that extra vibe. Their house wine is good with their meals and most of all the staff members are great. Friendly and welcoming. Come here if you want great Italian food. It's inside a small plaza next to Ralph's so lots of parking!

Came here for the first time last week. The inside is very small and dark lighting. The inside looks outdated and worn. However, the service was great. We were seated right away and our server was very welcoming and willing to answer any questions we had. We ordered the chicken parm, shrimp ravioli, and spaghetti and meatball. Everything was enjoyed and devoured. Italian food isn't my favorite but we enjoyed our meal at Lomeli's.

Lomeli's Italian Restaurant is a South Bay favorite. They've been around for generations and the food is still high quality as when i was a kid. The taste of all my favorites has never changed and i still order my favorites. The small restaurant is surprisingly roomy inside with many tables. The service is usually very good, sometimes there's a lag because its packed. The staff are friendly and the owners are really nice. The inside has the look of an Italian bistro and a cozy intimate dining room. There are plenty of parking spots in this strip mall.

I've never had a meal from this place that I didn't enjoy. I am particularly impressed by the delicious vegan pepperoni topping! By far the best I've ever had and it tastes so close to the real thing! We order it with real cheese as that meets our dietary needs. Although it transported a bit messy, we also really enjoyed the build your own pasta with the classic Italian garlic sauce. Soooo much garlic sauce that we ended up making our own garlic bread the next day (yum!). My family members who eat meat love the chicken parmigiana sandwich with garlic bread and the lasagna. The staff is friendly and courteous. I have never dined in, however I waited inside and the restaurant is clean with ample seating. I look forward to having a sit down meal sometime.

We've been there twice. The service is great. The staff is friendly and there is a retro-chic 70s Italian restaurant vibe. The menu has a lot of appealing entrées and daily specials. Unfortunately, the food is only average.

The lasagna is amazing!! Love the ambience. Place is small and gets crowded, so we went right when they opened.

This rating is solely based upon their customer service up at their front desk. I have been coming here for a few years, their food is exceptionally great! They have recently hired a young female. My family and I order out a lot and when placing phone orders she is extremely rude, and when going in to pick up our orders she has zero customer service skills, and she always looks irritated and acts as if she is being bothered.

First time going to this restaurant and I'm happy to say the food was good, and service was great. The restaurant is small but that's what adds character to it, I won't say it's a hole in the wall like some, but I'll say it a quaint family owned restaurant serving good food. I definitely recommend this restaurant

Lomeli's is a fan favorite in ufficio, and I'm always happy when someone brings it up for lunch. Their lunch specials are delicious, and laid out Monday through Friday on my behalf, so that minimal thinking or spending is required, while I muddle through another work week. Il lavoro, il lavoro, mama mia, infinito! The staff remembers us, because there's not too much turnaround here, and because it appears to be a family business. I love the front door, it's a bit of a Narnia situation where one moment you're in a shopping plaza in Gardena, California, the next you're in a cozy den with tasty hot food and nice cold beverages. Their combos are a touch more expensive than the lunch specials, but you get two classics! Like what I had yesterday: lasagna and fettuccini Alfredo, so nice. The shrimp scampi pizza is a za I have not forgotten (I took a photo of it), melts in bocca. Their sandwiches are sensibly portioned and delicious, so that I can go on about my day without needing to take a nap first. I've had their eggplant parm and the sausage, both fantastic. I love their little dishes of carrot spears, pepperoncini, and ranch that they bring out before the meal, really whets the appetite. All around fun place with good vibes.

Wish I would have taken pictures. We ordered full service catering for 200 people. They arrived on time, set up, served, and left the leftovers. The food was a hit. We had a lot of our guests tell us how good the food was. Our guests had seconds and some even packed food to go. The serving size was plenty. The bread was warm. The service was perfect. The staff was friendly. The day I placed the order, the owner was very nice and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. I would recommend to my friends and family for their catering needs. I would definitely use Lomeli's again.

This is a rebuttal from a previous review I made on the restaurant. The owners did reach out to me regarding my experience and I felt it was a very sincere apology and response. So I will go back and give them another chance to make it right! I know good Italian food when I eat it and it's just heartbreaking when it's not up to standard! Thanks for the response

I've been going to Lomeli's since I was a kid loved it then loved it now!! I haven't been to Lomeli's in years but I recently attended a party for my god sister and my coworker brought some pizzas OMG!!! He brought a Shrimp Scampi Pizza and the Big Duke Pizza (not on the menu but it should be!!) the BDP has ricotta cheese pepperoni marinara sauce and a tangy sweet honey sauce!!! The pizzas were so bomb I left the party and went straight to Lomeli's and ordered the pizzas for the family!! They loved it as well!!! Lomeli's is a gem in Gardena the service is always top notch and I can't wait to go back!!

It was our 1st time trying Lomeli's restaurant and it didn't disappoint!!The food was delicious Our experience was amazing: From walking into the store, being assisted with our selection from the menu, belly laughing at the owner's jokes, to the cashiers being so friendly and making last minute changes to the order, I truly recommend this place for all your catering needs for Italian food The pizzas (Deluxe with pink sauce, Meat Lovers with Alfredo sauce, Shrimp scampi with creamy Italian creamy sauce) were also mouthwatering and the kids couldn't stop raving about it. You definitely get your money's worth by going with Lomeli's!!

I heard great things about Lomeli's from a friend who grew up in this area, so I was excited to finally try it! We weren't able to make it to eat here in person, so we ordered through Door Dash to have it delivered. We ordered a mushroom pizza (thin crust) to share and it was absolutely delicious!! It had lots of mushrooms on it, had the perfect amount of cheese and sauce, and is one of the best pizzas I've had. I loved the thin crust. The spaghetti and meatball were also delicious, especially when eating it with the garlic bread. I love Italian food, and Lomeli's is definitely now one of my new favorite restaurants! I can't wait to come back and visit to eat here in the restaurant.

I was craving fresh pizza, pasta, salad & bread, the whole shabang. After browsing through some Italian restaurants, I've driven by this one many times & decided to try it in hopes of satisfying my cravings :). When entering we were immediately sat and the ambiance is a very cute family owned vibe. We were greeted and got water/drinks & complimentary veggie sticks (w/ranch & peppers) started immediately by a nice woman assisting our server. Although it took a minute for our very kind, sweet, amazing server CARI to get to us she apologized & definitely made up for it. On her defense we sat in a more hidden table then others so we were understanding. With that in mind she gave exceptional attentive service with such a great friendly attitude & made me feel well taken care of & in good hands. Service I don't get often when going to other restaurants, upscale or not... so I really appreciated this from Cari!! The food itself was tasty and comforting, I got a small pepperoni & jalapeño pizza (very good size) a combo #5 (lasagna & fettuccine Alfredo). Lomeli's provided everything I wanted, it was just what I needed. Good price, good portions & I had lots of leftovers Togo! All in all, I'll definitely be coming back & bringing friends & family if the food service & ambiance was anything like what I experienced today! Side note- don't forget to be kind & tip your server! I always shoot for 20% or more if good service is provided Lots of things happen behind the scenes for your server to bring you everything you need to have a good dining experience, so if you can pls do :)!

Happen to help pizza and Lomeli came out since we were close we decided to give it a try. It's a pretty old location not updated and pretty small The owner him self works there and helps take the orders They were busy with to go orders and in person. We ordered there combo og spaghetti and ravioli with cheese pizza. The food was delicious the Garlic bread soft tasty and nice sizes. We are a family of three and there was more than enough food If you're ever close definitely try it.

Seriously old-school Italian-American food, to the point that you have to do it for the experience, or for the pasta combo meals. Hidden in a strip mall, this is a dark, retro restaurant where the first thing on your table is a dish of crudites. Get that pasta combo in all its red-sauce glory. It's really nicely done comfort food, with lots of flavor that will soothe you rather than challenge you. After a generally stressful LA experience, I *loved* this.

Cute, hole-in-the-wall Italian joint - an absolute hidden gem! Doesn't look like much on the outside, but once you walk in, it's so cozy and homey. The staff always treat you like family, and you will see the famous Mr. Lomeli himself hard at work time to time - you can tell he loves what he does! Great food, family-friendly prices -- and they give you free ice cream! What's not to like?

Lomelis is great! My family likes to get the pizza, salad, and lasagna. The pizza is good, but tastes way more cheesy than other places so I wish they used more sauce. Combos come with an entree, small salad, wine, and icecream. Great service and friendly environment!

Service was not the greatest :( Such a disappointment this restaurant used to be our family's favorite 30 years plus . Antipasto Salad used to be good it has lost its quality. Pizza was still delicious! Place needs to removed carpet it is so dirty Makes me not want to eat inside anymore the restaurant. I hope owners can step it up on service , and ambiance and continue to carry quality of food . I will only stop by for a pizza pick up but definitely not to dine in.

Lomeli's has been a staple in Gardena known for good Italian food for many years. It's easy to say that many residents in Gardena have either eaten there or have heard of Lomeli's. Lomeli's is family owned and I think it's safe to say that the family members work there as well so they basically take pride in customer service. I've had much better tasting food at other restaurants but for the nostalgia side of Lomeli's, I would suggest trying it for yourself.

Used to be our family's favorite weeknight spot as the prices, food,service and ambiance were great. They changed their recipes or their food provider and it honestly went downhill. We gave it a try a couple times after noticing the changes but we're disappointed. Wish they had their old recipes/food provider.

We visited this place for the first time we encountered a bad experience not because of the place or the staff but because of a couple who was sitting at the disabled table waiting for a pizza to take away (they were already there when we arrived) they started making comments and judging us looks We don't understand why there were only 2 of me and my boyfriend we don't understand why they behaved like that, maybe because we were speaking Spanish or because they are simply people who like to judge strangers, it was very uncomfortable until I thought about asking them what the problem was? Apparently they are regular customers because they spoke to the staff in a very familiar way. Leaving aside that experience, I liked the place, the person who served us was friendly (Manolo I think), the food was very good and the prices were normal.

Second time at this location. Upon arrival I had to wait to get someone's attention ( Thursday evening ) we were sat down rather promptly. Our drinks came by fast. The garlic bread wasn't tasty at all. However the pasta and pizza were quite delicious. My daughters Alfredo (no pic) was a big cold but since my kid was hungry we didn't send it back. The service could be better if they had more employees working when it's evening on a Thursday as we had to ask for napkins and utensils. The gentleman who helped us was nice but I felt he was overwhelmed. Perhaps next time I'll order to go. Be aware this place also does not have any windows fyi. They do have AC . Managers please do better in staffing accordingly.

Came here because I drove by the day before and saw it. We were going to the big chain Italian food restaurant but decided to Give this one a try. WE LOVED IT! Food was delicious and the waiter was very very friendly and knowledgeable. Forgot to take a picture of the actual food. But took one of the cheesecake and that was the best cheesecake I've ever had. A bit pricey. But will be coming back

If you are looking for a homey Italian restaurant, you should check out Lomeli's. You can customize your pasta and pick the sauce you want and whatever type of topping you feel like eating. They are known for their pizza, so make room for it. The place can get crowded, so expect to have a wait time. They don't take reservations and plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. They don't have outdoor seating.

Delicious food and really lovely service. This is our new go to. Love the pink sauce and that's coming from someone who typically hates Alfredo.

First time here. I had the lasagna and it was definitely good. Place is small but it was empty so not a big deal. Now the waiter did make a rude sarcastic comment but she's older so I honestly brushed it off.. lol

Today was the worse experience I've ever had. I spent $35 on 2 Alfredo dinners which turned out to be horrendous. Food was watery and chicken undercooked I won't be going back anyone saying this spot is a gem is full of it. This place hasn't tasted good since the early 2000s.

God. Awful. We ordered a pizza from Lomeli's this evening and not only did they forget to put the marinara sauce on it, but they drowned it in olive oil! Total let down since I was dying to try this place. What's crazier is that I just moved to the area and it's so close to my place! Bummer I'll never be back as a result of tonight, though. Unfortunately I would have to advise people to get their pizzas elsewhere!

My family and I don't usually come to this restaurant often however, we've come here a few times. Most of our meals have been good and pleasant. However in the last two occasions, we have got out order wrong. Now mind you we order take out because this place is just so tiny. So going back to get out order fixed or get reimbursed is not ideal nor convenient. This last time which is a crazy holiday (valentines) our pasta was stuck together, and not enough pasta sauce. We order 3 orders of the breaded cutlet, and all were uneatable . The cutlets were all overly cooked. I wound defiantly not go here! I'll be taking my money elsewhere. Like Nikkos in San Pedro when I'm craving good eatalian!!!

I haven't been here in many years this was always the best Italian spot for dinner w the fam or for party trays. Came on Saturday night for take out. Ordered all kinds of stuff. Large Meat lovers pizza bomb! Chicken Alfredo bomb! Mozzarella sticks bomb! Spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread comes w the pasta dishes which is so good! I can tell you how good the food is and service is great. Everyone here is nice. Plenty of parking located in a plaza in Gardena. It's a small place that's always busy because they are so good. I love the pizza so much I'll never order pizza anywhere else. People from here and surrounding areas know about this place and love it. If you haven't tried it you must.

I used to go here withe deena guys decades ago. I stepped in and expected to see the guys there. There was a wait, I waited outside for about 15 minutes and was called in. I was seated, looked over the menu and settled on Ravioli and chicken parm with spaghetti split with mu friend. The ravoli was great as was the chicken. The only fault was the spaghetti was a bit over cooked. The service was great, the waitress dodded on us. We entended up being the the last customers, no complaints from the staff, sorry guys. Thank you for the great food and fond memories.

Today my boyfriend and I decided we would like to give a new place a try. We got to the restaurant it was kinda dirty the table was sticky. We ordered mozzarella sticks and we would give them a 6/10. My boyfriend ordered chicken parmigiana and he was very disappointed. The food was bland he had to add some salt, pepper, cheese and chili flakes to try and give it flavor. Normally at places we've gone to the chicken parmigiana is usually breaded but here it was dry with a lot of cheese. The spaghetti was bland as well. I ordered the chicken cacciatore with pesto sauce and I was extremely disappointed. The pesto sauce was very watered down and it was very unappetizing I only took a few bites of some noodles and a piece of chicken and i couldn't eat it. Very disappointed, my boyfriend doesn't like Olive Garden but he even said that would've been better. The server was nice, very friendly. But food was just disappointing. Won't be back again

Lomeli's has the absolute BEST pizza!!!!! If you haven't tried their pizza, I HIGHLY recommend it. We no longer live in Gardena, so we aren't able to go like we did previously. We have yet to find a restaurant like Lomeli's that has good tasting pizza. It is indeed the best pizza in the Southbay area!!

Came back here after a really long time but my experience here was not as good as before anymore... Service was almost nonexistent. I had trouble flagging the waitresses because they're not even looking at the tables. Waited awhile to have orders taken, food took awhile to come out, took awhile to get check, etc Garlic bread was not fresh, bread was cold and stale Carrot and pepperoncino w ranch is nice and fresh. Ranch had good flavor Lasagna, ravioli and spaghetti meatbals combo was just alright. Meatballs had strange texture...maybe too much bread crumbs? Marinara was flavorful, pink sauce was flavorful, god portion Shrimp and scallop angel hair with creamy italian looked fantastic when it first came out but was surprisingly very very bland. Had no favor! I had to add salt, pepper, cheese for every bite. Angel hair was a bit overcooked and mushy. Great amount of scallops. Got 3 shrimps. Tiramisu had good flavor Spumoni was good

What can you say about O'Malley's? Is this little unassuming Italian restaurant not too far from the drive-in theater you can tell it's been there for years. Every time we've been there. We thoroughly enjoy our meal. The servers are very attentive. The food comes out piping hot and there's just something about that strawberry cheesecake ice cream at the end we will be returning for sure. We already been there 34 times. Plenty of parking as it's in a strip mall.

We had family in town and wanted something good but filling and that everyone would enjoy. We placed individuals orders food was ready for pick up in no time. All hot, good and filling. The eggplant was really good. We did make sure to get our favorites the meat lasagna, chicken fettuccine and antipasti salad. Always knows the assignment happy family.

Staple of the community ... You want to know how I know that? My wife and I came through for a Sunday night dinner after a long busy weekend. Didn't expect to get much but wanted to try the meatballs and their lasagna. Another table close to mine was having pizza, there was a small group of 3. What we thought was a family, what was actually happening was a wholesome introduction of a potential father to a little boy and his single mother. Questions like "How did you meet my Mommy?" Came up and really just made my heart smile. So my wife and I decided to purchase their meal and to wish them well. Now to review the food. Meatball sandwich could use a little more sauce but for the price it was awesome. The lasagna was solid and something we would have again The service was a little slow, but friendly and quick to do what they can. Service was understandable considering how packed the restaurant was (GOOD SIGN)! So overall the food was decent, the atmosphere was amazing as was the service. Give this place a try and keep your ears open for good stories.

Love lomeli's. We moved to Henderson , NV 6 yrs ago. Every time we go back to Cali we go to lomelli's. We have always gotten the same waitress for lunch. She still remembers I love the pepperoncini's and carrots! She brings me my own plate. Never says a word.

Cozy restaurant with delicious food for reasonable price. Definitely coming back to try other items in the menu! Free carrots, peppers, and ranch was served when we sat down Shrimp scampi pizza: delicious for first 2 slice, but does taste salty and one-note over time. I requested for marinara sauce (charged extra) to add a little more dimension and sweetness to the dish. The medium size was perfect for two people. I wouldn't order this again unless I'm sharing with more people and can try other items. Peanut butter ice cream covered in chocolate: pretty good if you like peanut butter. There was caramel in the middle. Again, perfect for sharing. I would try something else next time. Service and ambience: very cozy and nicely decorated inside. Good date night spot, but I wouldn't recommend for big groups as the restaurant is still tiny. The tables are spread out, but still close enough where you can hear the conversations in the next table. Service was friendly. COVID precaution: servers wearing masks, and online menus available. Parking: easy in a big plaza, same plaza as Ralphs.

Food is exceptional and very fresh. I love the pizza and lasagna very much. I've been going to Lomelli's for many years. I've moved to Corona and I still come out there to enjoy the food.

After reading the reviews our expectations were for a delicious, authentic Italian dinner. Unfortunately my expectation was far from the reality. The mozzarella sticks were decent but nothing special. I had the chicken parm and it was thin and dry. Other dishes in our party were the cutlet parmigiana which is a breaded ribeye covered in cheese. To me, it was inedible. Dry, gray and gross. The make your own pastas were below average. Sauces seemed like they came out of a can. Nothing tasted homemade. It reminded me of cafeteria food. The best dish was the pistachio cheesecake. That was actually pretty tasty. Unfortunately we won't be back. Way too many better options in the South Bay. Even as a last resort, I'd rather go to Olive Garden.
