First time dining here and it was early and not crowded so I don't know a lot about the place. I was driven to review it only because I order the Scallop Scampi and was exceptionally pleased. Certainly the finest I've had anywhere. Add to it that the salad was fresh and plentiful and the service was very good so I had to post something! Even though it is a bit out of our way, we will be back. Apparently I can't make a second review of a place that I have already reviewed so I'm adding on to this one. Just a word to people that live nearby. You are missing out on an excellent restaurant. My second visit was as good as the first but this time we arrived at a more respectable dinner hour. I don't understand why this restaurant isn't packed. If you haven't eaten here yet, put it on your list!

Our reservation (3 people) was for 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. They sat us quickly. Once someone finally came to take our order, salads/bread was quick to come out. The one appetizer ordered did not get delivered to our table until 8 pm! Dinner finally arrived around 8:15 (2 hours later...). Had to ask for boxes and check right away for fear it'd be another hour before we saw our waitress again. Finally walked out at 8:45! Food was mediocre...nothing authentic or spectacular about it. I would not go back.

Was excited to try this place with a couple of friends; it did not turn out how we'd hope. Our server was a little rude, and didn't really come up to check on us all too much. Inside is nice, if that's all you seem to care about. Food on the other hand, did not live up to expectation. We got a large Primavera Pizza to share, and each our own appetizers. I got the Fried Calamari, my buddies got some Fried Mozzarella and Pasta Fagioli. My Calamari was bland, super oily, and not as flavorful as I'd like. My friends liked the Fried Mozzarella, but the other did not like his Pasta Fagioli soup. Almost NO beans and broth had a slight weird aftertaste. The Primavera Pizza was a little sad, super thin tomatoes, almost NO artichokes, BARELY even a hint of garlic, and the crust was slightly undercooked in the center but on the outside it was somehow slightly darker, pretty damn close to burnt. Overall the staff were nice and accommodating, but the food was NOT good. We will not be back at this place, we've had better soup and pizza. 0/10

Recently had some surgery and ordered off of their catering menu to supplement not being able to cook along with meals that friends and family were bringing. They’re catering food is excellent and just as good as their regular menu and other to go items. I had the chicken and potatoes which I think was probably my favorite and a little different than what I expected but excellent. Eggplant Parm was awesome as was their sausage, peppers and onions. Highly recommend ordering for gatherings or parties but also if you just need a little help around the kitchen!

I love the crust and the pizza structure The clam pizza is really good but too much cheese too little clam otherwise delicious the sausage and pepper pizza awesome all the ratios on Point. The Fried calamari though Always feels like it needs to be a little bit more fried(no crunch not crispy enough )Always feels like it needs to be a little bit more fried And there’s no tentacles. I love the tentacles!!! otherwise the girl behind the counter absolute sweetheart great head of house. I enjoy going there my third favorite pizza place

I love the food here. We have fried mozzarella and I have the eggplant every time. So good. And servers always pleasant. Prices reasonable.

One of the best pizza and Italian restaurants Branford. If you’ve never been… git cha self over there! I’m in love with their bacon pizza and white clam but they are all good. Very reasonable catering prices. The owners are great too. The trifecta ❤️
