Highlights

Nestled in Milan, this longstanding Chinese restaurant has charm but strays from authenticity, favoring a European twist over traditional flavors.

Following are my dissapointing experience with this Milan Lon Fong Chinese restaurant: 1. Food quality: Food portion are small and of poor quality -The sweet and sour chicken was overly starchy, served in an unappealing yellow-colored sauce. - The tofu dish was paired with overboiled vegetables, resulting in a lacklustre taste. 2. Portion size and pricing: Portion sizes were very small, with the sweet and sour pork priced at €11.50, making it feel overpriced. Paying nearly €30 for such poor-quality food was not worth it. 3. Service: Delivery was unhelpful, and the staff were cold and unfriendly. 4. Customer base: The restaurant seems to primarily attract Caucasian patrons and does not cater to those seeking authentic Chinese cuisine. Avoid this place if you are looking for good authentic chinese food. Consider looking out for restaurants with positive reviews from both the chinese travellers or locals

Great chinese food, more authentic in the inspiration but closer to the european taste. Quality, service wave cleanliness were just on point!

Not authentic Chinese here at all, maybe it’s what the Italians like? Wouldn’t say taste bad but odd if you ever taste any authentic Chinese food or even North American Chinese food. Portions are indeed way smaller than regular Chinese restaurants. If I read the reviews NOT made by locals before coming in I probably would skip it.

To be fair, the taste is actually not bad, but it’s far from impressive and authentic. Portion is on the small side given the price. The worst is you have to wait for ages. They bring a dish every 10 to 20 mins but not everything together. Forget about the Peking Duck. It’s not how it’s supposed to be. If you are in the area, there is better option in the side street with better food quality and price.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Milan since 1978.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I never given a restaurant such a terrible review like this but this restaurant is so terrible that I have to. If you’re Asian, I recommend you don’t even attempt this restaurant because they deliver their dish based on if you’re Italian or not. We ordered the same Peking duck dish with the table next to us (non-Asian customer), the presentation on their dish looks way more professional than our dish. Second, the dishes come out very slow that we are hungry by the end of our meal. Total rip off. If you ever tasted any real Chinese food before, don’t step into this restaurant, you will be completely disappointed. Service terrible, food terrible, nothing is good about this restaurant.

We are Chinese from Hong Kong. The foods are very delicious and authentic. They have Chinese Dim Sums I like. Fried rice is excellent and tasty just like in Hong Kong. No wonder they are celebrating 40 years serving Milan with good food. I also love to eat their traditional steamed fish and Chinese veggies. Wanton soups make me happy hard and dry. 好好食

Google
Small portions, high prices, rice was partially uncooked and one of the chinese staff was unfriendly and seemed to comment in chinese , bored of the fact I asked again another question There's absolutely nothing authentic about their food and its just a quick money grab chinese place with very little efforts for your bucks. Would never again dine in here again

Yelp
Great food and service! Always a treat to eat here when in Milan. Wish they had a location where I live.

Yelp
Bad service, bad food. Complete rip off. If you ever tasted any kind of real Chinese good, don't try to come here. It's absolutely terrible, speaking from a trueChinese person.

Yelp
Usually I will not choose to have Chinese food in Europe. The rain was pouring and the restaurant is near my hotel so I decided to have my dinner here. The service is good here. The food is average considering I'm a seasoned Chinese cuisine diner. I didn't like the hot & sour soup as I feel the flavour can be much better.
