I started chiropractic sessions in the London Wellness Clinic around week 28 of my pregnancy due to pain in my lower back and tailbone, which worsened after sitting for long periods (particularly during travel or at the office).
I had an initial session with Dr. Edwards, who assessed me, performed a correction on the same day, discussed a treatment plan, and recommended some exercises I could do at home.
To be completely honest, I never expected the pain to go away entirely, since pregnancy is constantly evolving and the baby continues to grow. However, Dr. Edwards explained that I should see significant improvement within just a few sessions.
I noticed a difference from the very first session, and after just two or three sessions, the tailbone pain had completely disappeared.
Dr. Edwards was consistently professional, clearly explaining the causes of my discomfort and adapting each session to reflect the changes in my body, ranging from addressing tailbone pain to preparing the hips and pelvis for birth. I always leave our sessions impressed by his deep knowledge of the human body.
I would highly recommend chiropractic care during pregnancy. Dr. Edwards and the London Wellness Clinic have been fantastic. Scheduling appointments is very easy, and rescheduling ( when needed) has always been smooth. I've never had any issues.
I'm now 38 weeks and considering continuing with the adjustments even post birth as I had such a positive experience.
