For God’s Sake, Dine Out on Weeknights at San Francisco Restaurants | Eater SF

"This is the kind of dark bar where I’ll commiserate with a coworker over a martini or three during happy hour, and the only food to consume is a few olives or, here, a conservative bowl of cheeze puffs." - Garrett Schlichte

Liholiho Yacht Club Is Moving to the Mission | Eater SF

"At the iconic Mission dive Lone Palm, I was saddened to learn that the single palm tree that gave the bar its name had become diseased and was removed because heavy, falling fronds were hazardous to patrons and nearby buildings; owner Jane Seabrook told SFGate that losing the 30-year-old palm was “heartbreaking” to her and her family, and she hopes to replace it with a new palm soon, though they’re expensive, so a GoFundMe has been started to raise the several thousand dollars needed for the new mascot." - Ellen Fort

I wanted to enjoy my experience at the lone palm golf club, but it quickly turned into a political agenda with the “assistant” food beverage manager Jeremy Knoll. Instead of offering assistance, he quoted his political agenda and quietly asked if we supported Trump or Kirk and then proceeded to shove his political views down our throats. We quickly left and have no plans to return. No matter what side of the political playing field you’re on, it shouldn’t become the focus of this establishment and quite honestly it’s an embarrassment to the company to have employees harass customers.

Great view, excellent service, and the food is super fresh and well prepared! I had a Greek salad with shrimp, pictured here! The dining room is not too noisy and great for conversation!

Members only facility. Golf course greens are fast and undulating. Restaurant ranks in with Lakeland's finest.

Fun and fair gold course. If you don't get to aggressive you can have a great round!

Yelp
Wish I took pics but this spot was great. It's a members only club for golf and pickleball and, although I didn't look around much, seemed almost brand new. I was at the "patio" bar next to the pickleball courts where they had live music and a restaurant. Vibe was cool for this area and food was good. I hear there's a multi year membership waitlist though, so tag along with a member, you'll have a good time!
