Lone Star Dry Goods

Department store prices and Walmart service. I was thrilled to find a local seller of Orvis, Simms and Patagonia. Unfortunately, mine will be a one-time visit. I asked about the fitting room and got a head-nod toward a curtained area. I prefer little or no attention as a customer but theirs borders on indifference. Not even a "thank you" after completing my transaction. I want to buy local but loyalty is a two-way street. This store hasn't earned mine.

If You folks looking for custom Hats these guys are the one to get them from. Very professional employees, lots of merchandise, and more. Stop on in, grab a vest or Tshirt, better yet swing by to the ice house for good beer n atmosphere. Highly recommended

The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. They have a terrific beer selection, along with some non-alcoholic beverages. There is a very small snack menu, that was unappealing, but I would go back, as long as I’m not hungry! The shining star was the Old Fashioned made with a specialty cherry (Filthy Black cherry,) and was positively the best drink I’ve had in ages.

A must visit when in Abilene, Texas. Unique merchandise, friendly staff, apparel, gifts..... something for everyone. Located right downtown near restaurants, shopping and museums. Don’t miss this gem!

Only been to the Icehouse which is LSDG’s restaurant that is attached. Seen Chris Knight acoustic in concert here in early Sept. Paid over $100 for a bar top table for 2. We had to share it with another couple. Fried pickles were not the best. Very lightly battered…no crunch…they almost had no batter. The fried Mac and cheese on the other hand was amazing, delicious and spicy. The venue was horrible listening to music. Adjacent tables were rather close and talked and laugh the entire night…couldn’t hear the music/signing. The waitress and the host who sat us were pretty short and almost rude. Made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Disappointed in our experience all together. May be back for an appetizer and a drink…but will not be going to listen to music

WOW! I ordered a BRCC coffee mug from Lone Star Dry Goods, and they did a wonderful job packing it for shipping to prevent and damage or breaking as it traveled from Texas to New England. They included three really cool and quality stickers in the box also. If that wasn’t enough, a personal note thanking me for my purchase on the receipt was the finishing touch to make me a return customer. Thanks again for a great shopping experience LSDG!

Ordered from the online store. Shipped the same day. They have very cool items and the sunflower seeds I've been looking everywhere for. It shipped from Texas to North Carolina in 2 days! Will definitely use then again. Great small business

This is my favorite store in the entire city! The staff is always welcoming and helpful. I love looking at the new products, or just checking out their supply of knives, custom hats and patches, or their badass shirts. Also, it's right next to the Ice House Bar, so after you're done shopping, you could grab a beer. King's Barbers is also in the same vicinity.
