Long Beach Convention Center

Had an amazing time watching Disney on Ice at the Long Beach Convention Center! The performance was absolutely remarkable—magical for both kids and adults. The production quality, the skating, and the crowd energy were top-tier. A couple of things to keep in mind though: food and drinks are on the expensive side, but that’s kind of expected at these kinds of events. What stood out to me most (and not in the best way) was the seating—very tight, especially if you're an extra-size person. Comfort could definitely be improved. Still, the experience overall was worth it, and the memories from Disney on Ice will last a long time!

Everything was good, I will say though, we were in Hall C which meant we were on the other side of where maps dropped us off at.

Was there for the KJLH Woman's health expo. The event was nice. The venue is nice. However, can you please get adult size toilets in the women's restroom. I'm 6 feet tall, and my knees were at my head while seated. I'm not the only one complaining. That was a major conversation among all the women in the bathroom and during one of my break out sessions.

I stayed here for a work trip, Guess service was good as well as the working staff. The only reason i give this a 3 start review is due to my hotel room smelling like cigarettes. I called to change rooms but was told every single room was booked. The person next to me continue to smoke cigarettes and security never came up

Great place, new seats 💺. It can host about 10 thousand people. Nice water fountain ⛲️. Water rides also big ponds.

Can't wait til next year's

We attended The Beach Boy's Experience with the Long Beach Symphony and it was amazing! From the Meal, the music and overall experience we had such a blast. The Venue was fun was easy to get in and plenty of parking as well. The bathrooms were clean and they had someone guiding so the Line wouldn't accumulate love that little touch. I've been to this location before for other events as well and the art around the convention center is great and lots of photo ops and nice lounging areas to hang.

Lovely convention center! The seats were a little snug but you get a good view of the stage from most points.

I recently attended a trade show at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. The venue was lovely and located in the heart of Long Beach. Unlike some venues, it was easy to get around and not too overwhelming. The only thing to note is the convention center staff members were very rude.

I've only been to a small portion of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. It is one GIGANTIC venue!!!! I attended the Long Beach Expo here, and it was fun. The area that the event was held looked terrific. It was clean and roomy. Staff was very accommodating. I parked close by to the large facility. The location is nearby many restaurants and shops. Overall, this venue is a fantastic spot to attend an event!!

LONG BEACH CONVENTION CENTER is a modern convention and entertainment center located in Long Beach, California. It is one of the most dynamic attractions off of Long Beach's downtown waterfront with over 400K square feet of event space. It's my first time coming into LBCC to attend a Block Party hosted by Young LA company. It was a great partey! :D #parteyanimal Plenty of parking garage around the convention. As well as restaurants and food trucks. Overall, it's one of the best convention centers in SoCal.

One thing the center does right is to hire or accept volunteer staff who are, for the most part, competent, caring and kind (Shane, Chris etc). But they are able to do just so much. Like many corporate entities, the administrators of the Center are letting problems remain ongoing until they are forced to address them due to lawsuits involving gross negligence. I wonder when or if the lady in the wheel chair was able exit the premises. Were all elevators not functioning at 10 o'clock One elevator has in repair since September if not longer, I believe. Another thing. Would in interrupt their lives too much to provide signage to alert their customers about what is playing at which theater?

Came for a convention, multiple are going on at once. It's spacious, has nearby parking, food options inside, and is right by the touristy area of Long Beach. There are a bunch of different bathroom facilities, seems like a pretty new and well thought out building.

I recently got a chance to visit Long Beach comic con today. But, it's my first time this month than I expected. I'm glad I got to meet with the celebrity from honey I shrunk the kids, the lion king, and monsters inc. Plus, I have taken pictures with the other cosplayers while, visiting the convention center. Lastly, I'll go back to the Long Beach convention center to wear my own cosplay next year.

This year has been spent at numerous convention centers across California. I'd say the Long Beach Convention Center is a solid 4 star. Definitely not my favorite, but a solid spot. The orientation and shape of the convention center doesn't feel the most spacious or comfortable and noise from breakout rooms carries into other spaces. But the pros are that the location is convenient with lots of restaurants close by. Post-conference happy hours can easily be housed at the nearby hotels making it a short walk to the fun!

My first time! One spot, multiple uses. From tech conventions to The Grand Prix, the Long Beach Convention Center hosts almost all sort of events. We were here for the 2 day Grand Prix weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The facility is huge and host thousands of people quite comfortably with room to spare. The staff is extremely professional and courteous and did a great job at directing the general public around. Having back end access helps moving past the red tape but it felt hardly necessary. Though my review focuses primarily on the Grand Prix weekend, I can see the facility being a great spot to almost any type of event or convention. That being said, if you are in town in the month of April, specifically the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April, do stop by for the Grand Prix. It's California's version of the Monaco F1 Track and is loads of fun. Check out my pictures attached.

Been to this convention a few times many years ago when Anime Expo held it here. It is such a beautiful convention if you know how to run it. These halls are HUGE and Anime Expo years ago had a policy of one way in, one way out to keep flow of traffic moving. That was an awful idea because the entrance was on the other side of the convention which meant a TON of walking. Luckily we managed this year at the Impressions Expo without having rules like that. It felt a lot smaller so maybe that's why they didn't have such a rule. We were able to enter and leave through the same door. Lots of space and vendors with their booths this past weekend to showcase new items. We were here for a company trip and it was very informative. We didn't get to see the park/lake area of the convention but I'm hoping it's still there and accessible! That place is beautiful. Parking was a bit weird, we managed to find the closest structure to park in from the entrance of the expo. Line was crazy but we finally made it through. However, exiting was the weird part. This lady signaled us to exit this one way but the booths were empty and there was no way to even exit because they were barred off... we ended up turning around and finding a different exit. Since we were there for a bit, we wanted to go to the Pike across to eat but we were on a bit of a crunch time and settled on the convention food. They had a regular spot where they sold stuff like hot dogs, nachos, pizza, very typical convention food and then another area had better things like teriyaki bowls and sandwiches. Of course, everyone wanted the better food so the line was out the door, at least a 30 min wait. We settled on hotdogs and pizza which honestly wasn't bad at all. Definitely on the pricier side, 2 hot dogs that came with chips, 1 order of pizza, and 1 soda came out to about $40. Luckily it tasted good! Would love to visit this convention center again for their next event since it's at such a beautiful location! IG: @ammysalamii

The facility itself is very nice. It's rather larger and, for the events I go to, have adequate security and food trucks for many food options. I hate being price gouged at every turn but I'll blame at least part of that on the people running the show - not the venue itself. They have plenty of parking but the worst parking attendants I've seen. It was $15 at the event and it took 10 tries to get an answer to the question "is it cash only?" They could not comprehend this question and acted like it was a crazy ask. They also changed the "exit" for the event date but put no signs to indicate this change and where the "new exit" was. Overall it's a nice facility, not dumpy and for its comfort and aesthetic i give it 5 stars

Well, I should have known.... Like most entertainment venues, no outside door or drink is allowed. My daughter had a regional cheer competition here today and not even the athletes were allowed to bring their water bottles inside. I can somewhat understand not allowing spectators, BUT athletes??? Come on. Venue and grounds are actually really nice. The lagoon was great to walk around during some downtime and we even saw some stingrays in the water. Very cool! Close proximity to lots of dining options and shopping. We didn't do either but could have if time had permitted. Biggest drawback was the price of everything. Parking wasn't too terrible at $15 and the structure is on the grounds so very convenient. Food and water though, HOLY crap! $7 for a bottled water??? $11 for "nachos" (stale chips and cold cheese sauce!) hot dog & chips for $12?!? It's cheaper to eat at Disneyland. And mediocre so no wonder they don't allow outside food and drinks right??? $30 to get in (per adult) and then another $60-$70 for some crappy snack foods. Bet I won't come back here voluntarily.

Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the gorgeous view of the city. The bridge takes you across to the shoreline village, where you can see light house.

Where are your bike racks near the entrance to the Expo in Pacific Gallery??? Or near any entrance? The only ones I saw were for the blue rental bike units, and those were a good 1/4 mile walk and up multiple staircases from the Expo Entrance. You realize you are in Long Beach right?? We locals ride. Until you fix it, I see no reason to return.

Everything is held here. Graduations, Women's health expo, Home improvement expo and everything else. The people who work at the site are helpful at giving you directions. The grounds are well kept. There is plenty of paid parking. I didn't see any free parking.

Out of all the volleyball tournaments I've been to this year, this has been my favorite venue. Lots of bathrooms, water refill stations, eating options, the location (right next to the Pacific Ocean) and lots of shops and restaurants surrounding the convention center as well. It was clean and convenient. It had a really nice bar too.

MY FIRST TIME HERE, AND IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! PARKING SUCKS, BUT STILL WORTH COMING AND WILL BE BACK! Okay, my boyfriend dragged me to the the Long Beach convention center for the low rider competition on March 20, 2022. At 50.00 a pop, I was excited to see some cars, but I just knew it wasn't going to be my thing (so I thought!) We got there about 1pm, and found parking for $15.00. It was PACKED! We walked up, looked for the gate, and the fun began ! When we got there, good lord, there was super long lines. (Covid lines and lines to get in/ checked ) It was a bit of a mess, but the workers were just so nice. Before we entered the actual event, I pretty much even loved the beginning of the show. So many amazing cars with some bad a** paint jobs and designs. Do not let it fool you, ITS HUGE INSIDE! I mean car after car and hour after hour just blew on by! We stood until people started packing up- and it was all around so fun. Men: there's so many women walking around basically naked and modeling the cars! Haha. Ladies: There's so many men there looking for women and flirting with anything that walks haha anyways, all jokes aside: Seeing the love people have for their car, is just so one of a kind. Some dedicated their car to a loved one who died, (I saw a baby and a young woman who passed away very young) others dedicated it to their kids and grandkids. I cannot wait to come again next year!

Not sure how the concession food is selected for events,but the food or should I say the lack of food that was at the event was horrible. They had cafeteria food style selections, such as fruit cups, sandwiches, cheese/egg/fruit container,pizza,pretzels,chips,nachos. No other hot foods, the drink selections were better than than the food Maybe next don't have Bellator or any other MMA events at the LB convention center keep it at the forum way better

PRO-TIP: Having a convention badge gets you SO many deals for the local businesses and eateries. This includes discounts, free items with purchases, etc. Hell, I even got into the Aquarium of the Pacific next door for more than 50% off admission. Definitely take advantage of this if you're here for a convention. Recently came here for Anime Los Angeles and although I'm unhappy that they've moved to somewhere much farther, I don't have any issues with this convention center! There's a parking structure under the con center and nearby within walking distance. If you're there for the whole day, the $15 flat rate is not a bad deal especially if you're carpooling. Only park at the Pike Outlets if you're gonna be there for a short time period or if you're gonna get parking validation. FYI, there's a parking structure across the con center where if it's right next to the con, it's $20, but if you go a block down, it's also $15 flat OR if you're lucky like us free cuz there was no guard lmao. FYI, apparently the Hyatt (next to the con center) didn't allow luggage check in for their guests, so LOTS of cars were targeted and broken into during the last day of the con. Be very, very wary of this! The parking garage for they Hyatt also did not have security cameras from what I have been told. Anyways back to the actual con center. The first 2 floors are a sort of hallway with some rooms for panels, cosplay repair, manga lounge, etc. As you head towards the end of the con center near the Hyatt, there's some seating there and the bigger, main performance rooms. Lighting is not bad for photos in all areas. There's also an underground area that split into 2 exhibit halls (really trippy if you look at them since it looks like one large hall). There's some cafes and LOTS of mini bars if you need some booze to slosh yourself throughout the event. Security hired to staff was very efficient with bag check and directing the crowds. No issues there. One side of the convention had enough space for gatherings and photos and for food trucks and the other side had a really nice fountain for really pretty photos. Lots of eateries within walking distance, a neat rainbow bridge for photos, right next to the pier and the Pike Outlets. Not bad! My only issue was that the bathrooms were not cleaned efficiently enough and it was a bit gross even though it was only day 2 of the convention (though still better than using pier restrooms to be honest).

We went here on a Friday evening for the Midsummer Scream. Parking in the lot was easy and cost $15. The convention center is located in the heart of Long Beach, so it is in a perfect location of several shops, eateries, and bars. The line to get into this venue was extremely long. The event started at 6:00pm and I got there about 6:45. We did not get into the venue until about 7:45. Once inside, it was clean and spacious. We were all able to move around freely, enjoy the event, eat snacks, and drink cocktails.

Great place to see Jo Koy live in person for his tour. We parked at a nearby hotel so we really didn't have to worry about parking here, but our friends who had to park says it wasn't difficult. Outside, it was beautifully decorated for the holidays and perfect for photo Ops. Inside, just as beautiful. Main problem that I noticed and comedian made fun of is that there's no center aisle for you to leave without so much hassle to use the restroom. So if you sat smack in the middle, you would have to bother around 40 people to squeeze by just to use the restroom. Then bother the same 40 people to go back to your seat! LOL Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time laughing until our face hurt from all the laughter. Would we come again to see an event here? Sure, but next time we'll reserve near the ends of the rows! Thank goodness we didn't need to use the restroom! LOL.

Whoever is in charge of the bar should be fired. You're hosting a MASSIVE convention with hundreds of parents looking to imbibe in cocktails, and you have 1 bartender? Sat at the bar for 15 minutes with zero acknowledgment. They expect you to stand in a line to get a drink at a bar that seats 18 people. Terrible planning and management.

Went to Disney on ice which was fine. The venue itself is pretty run down. Our son busted his lip open after slipping along dozens of others since many of the sections were filled with water from the rain storm. An EMT checked him out and the management company took a report. We would've liked a call to check in afterward, but that didn't happen. We hope they work on the facility and bring it back as a wonderful venue in Long Beach because it truly is NOT SAFE.

Been here for a few events and everytime it's a different experience since it's all different events. Staff at all events seems nice and helpful at all events and that's very good with consistency. Layouts are always planned right with events from activities, food, shows, and vendors. Parking is the worst for the most of the events as this area has limited parking areas and the traffic is bad as it is. Entry can be crazy depending on the size of the events, some are ok but most can be long wait times. Overall glad they always have something different and fun going on.

The place looks beautiful outside. Nicely decorated foe the holiday. Came here for the Disney On Ice event. My daughter loved the show. Everything was pretty organized. They had the rapid test site to the right, prior to the event entrance. I believe it was $75. You can also get a pcr test that is 48 hours in advance. The staff was friendly, but inus 1 star because everything was soooo expensive. Not sure cause it was for the show or not but we grabbed a water bottle and diet Pepsi which cost us about $14! Such a rip-off. The seats were generic, even though we sat closer to the stage. At least it was more comfortable than it looked. Besides that, the show was great! It was about the dreams coming true. My daughter and the ladies behind me loved it. At least the tickets were cheaper than the other locations.

I will give a good review as I attended a conference. The service was pretty good and they were accommodating with the menu. The meals were paid by a sponsor. The selection of food items were appreciated by most attendees. The convention center was very clean. Bathrooms were kept very clean and there was no lack of supplies in any of the restrooms I went into all three days I attended.

Bravo Broadway was fantastic! Indoors picnic style event. Everyone brought something, lots of wine, friends, and Broadway songs. I always enjoy the Long Beach Symphony, and it was beautiful to hear Lakisha Jones on vocals again. Her version of "And I am telling you" from Dreamgirls was magnificent!

We went here for a Bellator MMA event and it was awesome! Great view all around and our seats were just perfect (lower row in 117). The arena is not too big so seems like most seats have a good view. There was plenty of drink and snack spots serving the typical event food such as nachos, pretzels, etc. Clean and nice restrooms is a plus. Seats are comfortable but a bit on the older side. Parking was $15 which is not bad compared to other venues and conveniently near the main doors so we didn't have to walk a lot. Overall we had a great experience at this convention center.

The pacific cafe inside lobby: expensive as expected- and a rude dude serving, more engaged in texting and reading his phone than helping you. I don't think that guy likes his job and should definitely get out of the service industry. The convention center lobby is very welcoming and clean but oh my is it cold in their conference rooms! Are you trying to make your guests leave early? Bathrooms are clean but very narrow and door closes automatically so you never know if the stalls are occupied or not.

Went here for the first time ever for "complexcon" I was impressed by how clean it was ! Large facilities the bathrooms were spotless every time I went to them the food services were quick and it was just amazing to see ! Got great parking there had a good time ! Wi-Fi was even spot on !

We were there to watch Disney on ice. It was fun, could have been better organized. The flow of people coming in and out was crazy hectic. The food is basically junk food!! Not cheap either but the bathroom waiting time wasn't bad; I saw a woman run to the men's bathroom cause she couldn't wait but other than that, it was cold and rainy outside on this day. Plus parking was reasonable. The people in charge should really try to organize their events better.

Horrible! $15 to park and we are vendors for an event. So we already paid to be here. Next is water. We can not bring in our own and bottles from the convention center are $7! We were here for 11 hours! We had to buy water but couldn't even get cups of ice. Only bottled.

The venue is old and tired. New carpet, but dated and really odd decor. Too few restrooms. Worst is that they have no control over the HVAC system. Temperatures swing wildly between coma inducing heat and bone chilling cold. For a recent conference temps in the ballroom were hovering in the low 60s and the venue did nothing to fix it over 5 days.

The working elevator is full of piss. The general area is pretty dumpy. Years ago when we were here they had a vacant pit full of garbage and temporary walls and fencing. Well I guess it's not temporary because in front of the convention center is still a dump pit of garbage in temporary walls. there is a long Corredor with the air conditioning but you have to walk way down to the center because they lock the door at the end. If you want to place the cares about your customers or a good appearance this is not the place to go. And it's probably not the cheapest place to go because you cannot do any set up in your booth without paying a union member $300 an hour. And again. The elevator already had a lot of piss but during the time we were setting up a new puddle of piss was added.

Walk up for COVID19 vaccine was so much easier and efficient than the drive through. Got my first shot with the drive through and was turned away at the drive through for the second shot, because I couldn't find the appointment confirmation email. I initially thought that was an inconvenience, but the walk in is so much better. Parking is free despite the $15 parking sign. WALK IN. Find your way to the fountain area of the convention center and walk to the west side of the building, right next to the Terrace Theater Office Box. Line starts there... but maybe you'll be lucky like me and there's ZERO line. Have your proof of appointment ready or they can look it up. ESSENTIAL WORKERS. You guys are bomb. Seriously, I was scared to get the 2nd shot, but you guys were courteous and reassuring. I'll keep that fear in my back pocket for tomorrow, when I'm pretty sure the flu-like symptoms will kick in.

I came here to watch a friend compete in a gymnastics tournament. I followed the signs with the event name and arrows pointed me in one direction. Then..no additional signage. I ended up driving two blocks away which required a U turn. I ended up parking right at the location for $15. There's parking across the street for less but you need to accurately determine how long you'll need the space and pay beforehand. I had no idea how to gauge the time needed, so it left me with limited options as I realized I was only carrying credit cards and not cash. After parking, I followed the signage in the underground parking for the elevator. It pointed in one direction and again, no additional directions. I had to walk pretty much all around the garage to locate the elevator. Other visitors were just as perplexed. For safety reasons, more sign are necessary. I've been to the Long Beach Convention Center before but this time, I noticed how nice it is inside. The concession area is an opportunity for additional revenue for the Center. Across the street, there are plenty of options to grab a bite, but as attendees (busy parents with multiple children) with time constraints, it's an appreciated convenience to be able to nosh during the events we paid for. Besides hot dogs and dismal looking nachos, there wasn't anything else but a hot pretzel cart. I don't know if the concessions are limited due to budget or lack of interest, but it was disappointing as several of us truly needed sustenance after the event. A more robust menu and additional signage both inside and outside of the parking lot would be ideal.

I just got my vaccine. 10/10 would do it again. Thank you frontline workers for working tirelessly and answering everyone's "how are you" questions at a speed of 30 per hour. They are incredibly efficient and friendly. The shot only felt like a small pinch. Everyone is required to sit outside for 15 minutes after getting the shot. Long Beach was so spacious and breezy that day. I want to go back for fun in the near future!

Long Beach Convention put out some of the best events in So Cal. I especially love the Comicons and concerts. Some shows they stop putting out here because of Covid. I had missed out on lot of events. But i took my kids here and we had fun. Ive come here in the past with family and all. Parking is a little cheaper. Right near the beach and mall. You cant beat this.

We both went to the Progresssive Motorcycle Show this year (again) and the event was successful. The motorcycle show occupied the whole bottom floor and has motorcycles and people left to right. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency this time was glad that the convention center is within walking distance. Great event at a perfect venue with many restaurants and a beach nearby.

My boyfriend and I came here for ComplexCon last month. This was my first time at ComplexCon and at this venue, but my boyfriend had been here once before. We both hated the parking situation, first and foremost. There's limited parking on-site and it filled up quickly. We had to loop around the area a couple of times in order to park at The Pike Outlets. It was incredibly packed, and my boyfriend remarked that it wasn't nearly this crowded last year. Maybe the best option is to park a mile or two away, and then just uber to the convention center. Once we finally made it inside, the place was quite appealing and spacious. The convention center seems well-maintained and modernized. The main hall was packed with exhibits and foot traffic was hectic. It felt a lot smaller with everyone inside, and it was insanely warm with all that body heat building up. ComplexCon's decorations were quite beautiful, so it made up for any trouble. The concert hall, on the other hand, was sizable and only about 2/5 of the room was utilized. Speakers were super loud -- you could hear the music from well outside of the hall. We walked outside toward a back area for food. They had food trucks and booths set up next to the water. It was quite hot that day, and I remember there being no shade as the sun beat down on us. The minimal seating area was absolutely filthy with trash -- not a single staff attendant in sight to clean up anything... Yuck. Long Beach is quite a drive for me, but I wouldn't mind coming back for another event. I'll have to be smarter about parking.

Who organizes a conference, the venue, the association or both? No exterior signage- walked around the building 52 degrees and 25 mph winds...finally a nice gentleman walking his dog told me he saw an open door around the other side (8 doors I tried were locked). Ahhh, guess what, no signage on the ground floor, not even for elevator. "Breakfast " set up is a joke- see picture . I know conference budget determines what is served-- SHAME-- at least make sure it's ripe!!! Warm orange juice? So cheaply done. Weirdest thing ever- toilets in womens upstairs bathroom are so low, like in a preschool. Bizarre!!

Once you actually get inside, everything looks glamorous and spectacular. The chairs are comfortable, and the acoustics of the concert hall is conducive to listening. However, you'll have to get through parking first, and that's a nightmare on Pine Street (Elm is a couple of streets down). The entrance is steep and difficult to get to when you're traveling westbound on Ocean (no left turn possible). The parking structure is cramped, and you feel like you're constantly about to scrape your car against the adjacent vehicle. The stairs and escalators are blocked off, and the stairwell reeks of urine. The elevator is dim and dilapidated. It felt like I am going to an opium den rather than a concert. Put some funding into remodeling or rehabilitating the parking structure.

I got my vaccination here. Nice place that you can walk by the pier and enjoy the food with ocean view.

Tropical storm Hilary flooded some areas of the parking structure creating unsanitary conditions. The standing water surrounding the parking structure smelled of urine. It was gross! I had to throw away my car floor mats after it got soaked with water from our shoes. To the convention center management team: your parking structure is in desperate need of a deep power wash cleaning. You all know people who can't wait to go to the bathrooms relieve themselves in your parking structures. It's unfortunate I know, but it happens.

One elevator? Good luck if you're i. A wheel chair or have a stroller. Access to the 3 floors is extremely limited.

Can I give a zero??? Went to Disney On Ice and this is the WORST venue EVER!!! Staff and gear could not handle the crowd. Took forever to get in. It seemed like half the crowd was still outside waiting to get in 15 after the show started. That was just the beginning, food was horrible. Got to our seats and was wondering why so many people were standing or sitting in regular chairs. Yes regular chairs. When we found our seats we realized that one of them was completely missing. Yes completely missing so I had to squat the entire time but at least I had the back rest??? Staff had no sympathy for anyone. Horrible experience for what was to supposed to be a magical day.

It's large open space. So it works, I guess? I came here for Agenda Fest, which is a trade show for Skate and Surf brands along with a beer garden and a few live musical acts. The venue is a little tricky to navigate, with it being so close to the harbor traffic is nuts, and the parking fills up fast. So you'll have to park on the street, in a private lot, or somewhere miles away and walk to the venue. The actual layout inside is normal for a convention center. Just a giant open space with miles of smoothed concrete and bathrooms at every corner. It's close to the ocean, so it stays cool even on a hot Long Beach summer day. If you're close enough, I would just Uber or Lyft here to save yourself from some parking frustration and wasted time.
