With a wide, well-maintained shoreline and a walkable, independently owned Pier Village, Long Branch Beach draws both locals and visitors seeking a classic shore day without the crowds of bigger resort towns. The beach gets consistent praise from The Star-Ledger and The Infatuation for its accessibility, diverse food options, and welcoming atmosphere. Stroll the boardwalk for ocean views, or head slightly north to Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park for a quieter experience. Local cafes, ice cream shops, and small galleries line the nearby streets, offering a genuine taste of the community.
It's our favorite even in Summer time. Now in September, it is Sooo clean and quiet- very few people at weekdays. People are Respectful and friendly towards beach neighbors. It's truly a relaxing place. Bathrooms clean and furnished. Fast food nearby. Parking: some areas have meters $2/hr and you pay with CreditCard at the kiosk, some areas free around the neighborhood. There are a couple of entrances that get you to boardwalk and then to the ⛱️ sand. Some wheel carts ramps at some entrances- not all-.

I grew up in LB and imo its changed so much. Catered to rich white people especially with the gentrification thats taking over catering to the wealthy and the locals who have been there for years are reluctantly moving out because its getting to expensive. I love the LB beach but it was way better in the 80s and 90s. Now its a whole new beach. So if you're wealthy sure come on down and make it that locals have to leave to let the privileged people in. I only visit the beach during off season, otherwise it's a nightmare!
Beautiful day for Oct. 23rd, so I decided to hit the boardwalk. It was an absolutely superb day!!!!
Parking was heaven! Restaurants weren't inundated with hoards of people and screaming children.

combination of sea air with 100% salt and sun flavor and cold water…. You last a maximum of 10 minutes and then you come out with a cramp. Everything is changing so accept what is coming. If you like the atmosphere and everything that silver represents, this is your place. keeps it clean 🏖️ parking $30 plus entrance.🏖️🌬️☀️

Truly a longtime favorite place to beach and shop! Come here for the coast and the coolest vibes… and breeze! It’s like an all-inclusive getaway, even if just for a day. Parking, food, and ocean views are plentiful and there’s many options for each.

It’s a good beach if you want to enjoy a nice and relaxing day, is quiet, the water is SOOO cold but besides that is great! It has some sand sculptures and a beautiful boardwalk. Parking is easy during week days and has a lot of restaurants to choose from.
