Finally got the chance to visit after 10 years! Quite a bit has changed but its was for the better. There was great music, good food being sold by the meatball place, and fun inviting crowd. We decided to do a tasting of vodka AND whiskey. Next time I'll do a mixed drink 😊

Delicious vodka, live music, lovely view from the back deck, games.. nice place to have a crafted cocktail on a Saturday afternoon.

Another amazing day at Long Island Spirits with our grandpup, Waffles!

Google
Really fun distillery with the nicest staff and a beautiful environment! My friends and I split 3 tastings and really enjoyed some of the spirits (the Rough Rider rye bourbon and the sorbettas). Some of the others were a bit too strong to enjoy straight. But overall a really cool place to visit!

Beautiful place 🤩, nice people 🥰, tasty booze🤤🥃, overpriced tho😔😮‍💨. The drinks cost around $15.00 each which is a bit too much.

Google
Great find on our self-guided wine tour! Too bad we came here at 11am, the drinks were strong!

Finally a seltzer alcoholic beverage that doesn’t taste like seltzer 🙌 lispirits is soo delicious! It’s also even more delicious knowing that I’m not violating my diet while I’m getting lit 🥰 My favorite one was definitely the watermelon🍉

The worst neighbors ever ! The smell alone when brewing is horrible. Can't leave my Windows open. And the noise from their new grinding machine is twice as loud as before. Not to mention the drunk busses running all the time and the fumes. And let's not forget all the drunks running around yelling and acting stupid. I've seen people stumbling from restaurant to there to the vineyard and back again. It's only a matter of time before someone gets killed out here. There's no side walks I've seen people tripping and falling from uneven ground. So sad. The worst part is in the summer time when it's busy there's not a cop to be seen out here on a main road.or they just turn a blind eye to the hole thing. I'm so sick of upislanders coming out here and starting businesses and destroying the way of life we used to know. So very sick of it!

Yelp
This place is a a great little gem on Long Island. I went on a weekday in the middle of the day so it was quiet. The bartender (I've forgotten her name as it was some time ago) was super friendly and chatty. She was informative about the history of the distillery and each of the products they make. I like vodka so I enjoyed multiple cocktailsnwith their potato based spirit. The distillery has inside and outside seating areas, the latter overlooking a potato field (hey, it's greenery on Long Island). Inside you have views of the distilling columns, and of course the wonderful staff. I'm not sure if they offer tours of the actual distilling area, but you get a good view of it nonetheless. They offer both tasting menus and cocktails made with their products, along with bottle sale and branded glassware. Support a local business on Long Island and pick up some excellent vodka. Check this place out.

Yelp
Came here for Joannes birthday party. Everything was great. Mia at the bar was fantastic. Explained all the differences between the vodka's & the bourbon's. Thank you this place is amazing.

Yelp
Went here in a small group of 3. We went upstairs to have some samples. We sat on the balcony deck outside and enjoyed our flights. after we then ordered 3 cocktails from the bar. The staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Stopped by on our tour of the East End yesterday as whenever I see a sign for a distillery, I have to go check it out. While everything else was packed around the area, LiV was actually pretty do-able with some open spaces to sit, food truck outside, but the place itself was closed, only outdoor service. The lady pouring drinks wasn't the friendliest, felt like a cattle call of bringing people up, hurrying them to get drinks, charging them and getting them out of there, not the friendliest. Went with the flight of bourbon choice, wanted to get a taste of what they have going there. Got the Smokey Cherry, Big Stick, and Straight Bourbon. Decent juice, not the best not the worst. They gave bag of chips with the orders, and my dad got one of those vodka mixed drinks, and I guess he got rocked by it since he has like no tolerance, but overall it was a decent experience. You get a bag of chips with your orders since they have to by law give you food with booze now. Probably all set for visiting in the future, once was enough.!

Yelp
Long Island Spirits is a country distillery up on Sound Avenue just before the North Fork. One day soon sure I'll be back to try their craft vodka or other spirits. Would also make a nice gift for one vodka appreciating friend. Today I can't resist their easy access to their own FDA approved homemade hand sanitizer. Not cheap a 6 pack of small 8 oz bottles will run you $75 They come with two sprayers to be reused on the other four. Deal! Able to spray my steering wheel and hands between mask changing etc. priceless! Thank you for going to brewing up good times to serious times so quickly. Very reassuring when we manufacture and don't have to wait for a truck to come in. Sustainability is also priceless. We need more of it.

Yelp
I was disappointed in this place. Atmosphere was lame outside, and the drinks were absolutely disgusting. I asked for a dirty martini and it was dark brown with olives and pickles on the skewer?? The olives looked old as hell. Tasted horrific. My friends bees knees was literally just pure gin with a lemon slice. The outside bartender was a complete asshole who thought he was being funny by making jokes but he went a little too far. It just got really annoying, uncomfortable and unenjoyable. He said some things that he probably shouldn't have, and we laughed it off to avoid any awkwardness but looking back it was weird as hell. He acted like he hated his job too. To have that type of attitude and make drinks like shit is just a lose/lose. I won't be back.

Yelp
Long Island was known back in its day for growing potatoes. In the past thirty years, vineyards replaced potato farming. I always wondered why nobody ever thought of distilling spirits on Long Island, and then about ten years ago a distillery named LIV appeared in a historical building that cannot be altered since it must keep its original building structure intact. The tasting room does have an old tavern like appeal, but can be cozy for a small party on a rainy afternoon. My favorite was the Gin and the many different flavors of vodka they had. They also have Rye and bourbon, but they were not my cup of tea. Worth while to visit only if you have not heavily indulged in wine tasting before.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is top notch. Excellent spirits (vodka, whiskey, bourbon, seltzers) and very welcoming. Def recommend going. Fantastic!
google avatar

Lou D.

Yelp
Rich, I saw the LiV piece on News 12. Great job, well done. You should put a link to it on your website, if you haven't already. Everyone i talk to loves those canned LIVs. I hope you really take off and become the next Blue Point Brewery! I am anxious to return to your place and try it again. I am upgrading my LIV rating due to your news 12 interview. You have a great product and an apparent vision to move your business forward. Best of luck to LIV. I now recommend visiting LIS/LIV.
google avatar

Amanda K R.

Yelp
When you think of LI, perhaps the Hamptons and wine country come to mind. But alas... let's remember that LI was once potato farms. Only fitting that vodka is given it's time to shine, especially Long Island Vodka or LIV. Pluses include being lil further West than the Hamptons. Nestled in to a nice little area of local treasures boasting wine and local grown produce. Ample parking, outside patios on both the ground/entry level and the top floor. Lots n lots of stairs- careful as you imbibe. Limited snack menu but a fresh hot pretzel to sop up your libations. Other packaged snacks available as well. Top floor tasting room featured live music, huge selection of various games, pretty cool views of the acreage/planting field behind. Be mindful of natures "creatures" that fly n buzz around but the tunes from the speakers, the ample selection of adult beverages and the ambiance are for a pleasurable distraction. Be advised.... While this is a distillery and drinking age of 21+.... Seems many families make the trek. Can be a little distracting when you're trying to get your drink on or party like a rock star and you hear the pitter patter of lil feet. That said, plenty of places to escape and a down right comfy, friendly establishment. Cheers and enjoy. Ps, did the whiskey tasting x deux and appreciated many of the various flavors of the Rough Rider family. Loved the Happy!

Yelp
You cannot beat the view and the atmosphere here! Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. We went here on a weekend and there was a 2pc band playing some bluegrass which was so nice. The inside is painted white and has a high ceiling and very open design with French doors leading to the back deck where we sat. The only annoying thing was our bartender. She was moving around at the bar like she had no idea what she was doing and my boyfriends drink nearly knocked him on his ass lmao. Not exactly an enjoyable thing to sip on.

Yelp
Cute place down frown from the Ciderhouse in Riverhead! They had a lot of nice outdoor seating as well as live music (cover song artists!). They were definitely unique and had an interesting selection: vodka flights, whiskey flights, and a range of mixed drinks. Because of Covid, they had to serve food with every order so they gave you a bag of potato chips with each drink. They also honor a 10% off coupon with Yelp! That was exciting, however the price still seemed high compared to the other places around the area.
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
Love it here. Have been on both the weekend and during the week. Prefer it during the week when it's less crowded. The acoustics are a bit loud so it's more pleasant when it is empty. That aside the vodka is great! The mixed drinks are fabulous! Staff friendly and helpful. I love their pumpkin sorbetta that comes out in the fall. Great for pumpkin martinis.
google avatar

Debrin S.

Yelp
Unique in the land of wines and hard cider. Worth checking out. We tried a variety of the infused vodkas which would work best in a cocktail rather then straight up & the lemon was the favorite. My group happened to be bourbon enthusiasts yet no one was impressed by theirs. Didn't find the staff to be friendly or very helpful. 30 somethings w their toddlers was a strange sight. Great rear deck w a nice view to chill w your cocktail though. Restrooms. Ample parking.

Yelp
Wow! Such an amazing time here for my mother's birthday last night! The prices were amazing- they had twofers on Blue Point pumpkin beer, with a delicious rim job. The vodka was delicious, my mom indulged and my boyfriend bought some of the whiskey. The place was completely empty by the time we arrived at 5:30 on a Sunday. The band had already played and left and there were no other customers but us- which was awesome. The bartenders Sammy and Mike were super helpful and very personable. Sammy was extremely knowledgeable about all of the liquor sold there. They both made my boyfriend and I laugh at some point of the night. I had a great drinking experience there and social experience. The staff really made it 10x better than it already was. My mom lives about 20 minutes away so the next time I head out to her, we will be heading back to LIV!! See ya'll soon!

Yelp
We came here about 530pm on a Saturday night, 10/13/18. It was myself, my husband, and a friend. First time here andddd would never came back. First of all, I'll start by saying it wasn't that busy. There was a good amount of people here but plenty of room at the bar still to order drinks. The 3 of us stood at an open spot right in the middle of the bar. As we waited, we asked a bartender what the drink was he was making, he didnt answer. Asked a 2nd time, after about 6 seconds he goes "pumpkin spice latte" w a bit of an attitude. We then stand there waiting still, as he gets a half a cup of beer for himself to the side. At this time we've been waiting about 7 min now, and one of us says, "heyy, we've been waiting a while, can we order some drinks?". Same bartender replies, "yeah u and everyone else." And then went back to his cup of beer and texted on his phone!! At this point I decided that we would not be ordering anymore and it was better idea to just leave and go elsewhere. I don't understand whe he was so cranky with us, I guess he was having a very bad day, but that's not our fault...lol. I can understand if it was super busy and tons of people, but it wasn't. I live out east and frequent the north fork area and I will make a point to not come here again. At $17 a cocktail, I don't also need rude bartenders to deal with. No thanks!
google avatar

Katherine B.

Yelp
I came out to the vineyards for a few days but am extremely careful with Covid so I have gotten drinks to go at most places. I came to LIV planning to do the same but was pleasantly surprised. They have seating (only) outside with heaters. Although they do have plastic which I normally think is ridiculous...the outside inside?!? This was just on one side to shield the wind and was completely fine. They are also dog friendly which is important to me...(Rocky looks mad but he loved it!) Can't wait to come back in the warm weather!

Yelp
Love this spot! We came here on July 4th to celebrate. We were the first ones there, right as they opened (yes, we might have a problem). They have a vast outdoor area. It would actually be better if they had games, but we brought our own. We had Kan Jam and a volleyball. Since we were the first ones there, we nabbed a picnic table that was far from the distillery patio area and with more grass and open space. We were able to spread out and play a few games and eat lunch. Drinks there were a little pricey but well worth it. I highly recommend trying the coffee vodka, it is absolutely delicious. There is a food truck there was well with some pretty good eats. I ended up getting an order of wings which were cooked to perfection. The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste, but that was the only thing I didn't like about it. Overall, great way to spend an afternoon with a few friends.

Yelp
In the midst of all the wineries, you can find a place that sells vodka!!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You can either do a flight of vodka tasting or grab a cocktail. I had the North Fork Strawberry Blonde. It was very good. The price for one very small drink was steep $15 but you keep the cup (which broke in the bag somehow). They have a seating area outside on their top deck which is peaceful. I gave it 4 stars because of price. My husband and I spent $60 on 2 drinks each. I've drank cheaper in Manhattan. Kind of crazy.
google avatar

Janet I.

Yelp
My first trip to LI spirits. This time of year, not much to see on the exterior deck, just cold and windy. Inside is warm. This venue is a bit pricey, cocktails we tried were 15 and 17 dollars each, but the glass was a "souvenir". I must say the bartenders were excellent, well versed in their stock and excellent mixologists. Would I go again? No.
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
Stunning outdoor area and delicious cocktails. The strawberry blonde was refreshing and not too sweet.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
This place is great. I came here with a group of 12 as part of an LI vineyard tour for a friend's birthday. The vineyard is really nice and expansive. They had a live music band on the Saturday afternoon hat we came. Although very crowded on the Saturday we were there, the main house/space is large and they have both an indoor and outside covered seating area, so it's really great for groups and socializing. They also have a detached petting zoo outside where you can get close to some sheeps and lamas. My group and I did a wine tasting and while I didn't like their reds I really loved their "Candy" blend rose. It was fresh without being too sweet like most rosè. PROS: - large space - great for groups and families - impressive bright green vineyard and great for photo-ops - petting zoo on the property - large outdoor seating area - live music CONS: - can get really crowded (shoulder to shoulder) - small parking area
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
Nice vibe.. Live music, lots of outdoor seating, drinks are tasty and strong. Didn't eat here but they sell appetizers.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Smells like vomit. Like not just one area. The entire site legitimately gives wafts of vomit. Ruined our mother's day weekend. This is all my mother wanted. Disgusting.
google avatar

Frank T.

Yelp
Conveniently located at the beginning of the North Fork and major vineyards and something different besides wine and beer. I do like their bourbons, rye and vodka's but never had a good experience at the tasting room. Not a welcoming staff. You enter the building and walk up a flight of stairs to the tasting room. It's kind of dark and the bar is on the left side of the room as you walk in. I don't think I have ever been greeted by staff. The most recent visit I overheard a guest ask the staff person what vodka's does she recommend and she actually said I don't like vodka, but I do like bourbon. Maybe you should find another job or at least find out from the owners what they recommend. I might as well go the a liquor store and pick up a bottle of vodka for half the price of the tasting room bottles. Outside they have a deck with a nice view of the fields. There was a nasty odor the last time I was there. It may be the left overs after distillation or a dead animal. The exterior of the building is starting to look worn, a good power washing is needed. Anyway I think I'm done with LIV tasting room, their products are sold in many liquor stores on LI at much more reasonable prices than the tasting room.

Yelp
This weekend, my friends and I headed out east to explore some wineries. On the way, we encountered a place I had never heard of before - a craft Vodka distillery located right here on Long Island, distilled from fresh Long Island potatoes. Clear disclaimer that I am *not* a huge vodka fan and yet I definitely think this place was awesome! The vodka itself is delicious. My fiancé and I sampled a vodka flight that was only $11. Among the options, we selected watermelon (which tasted like a jolly rancher), raspberry (which had the richest vodka flavor) and orange (which tasted like a spiked orange juice - perhaps a mimosa alternative)! Our friends tried a couple of mixed drinks and loved them as well. The ambiance here was also very cool. There is a bar outside, but we decided to head upstairs to the loft, where the main bar is located. Inside, they had an acoustic duo playing live folk music (some of the "happier" guests were dancing along), and just beyond that was a gorgeous deck with seating that overlooks a beautiful farm. The place is both cool/interesting and gorgeous! Oh and the service was fantastic as well. Everyone behind the counter was incredibly knowledgeable about the vodka selections and was willing to provide as much guidance and support as we needed in making our selections. Without a doubt, I will definitely be back! Yelpers (and especially Yelp Elitists) be sure to place a visit to this awesome craft vodka distillery! Would love to see this place get some more attention. Quality - 5 Service - 5 Ambiance - 5 Cleanliness - 4 Value - 4

Yelp
Corey made our entire trip!! Had a great time visiting for a friends birthday. Vodka tasting was great, beautiful location, pickles were incredible, fantastic way to kick off Spring!
google avatar

Yelp
The land this is on is beautiful and the only downfall is all the stairs to get to the tasting room. I had the lucky Leprechaun (we visited on St Patricks Day) and it was wonderful. The employees working were so nice and knowledgeable about the products. We'll be back when the weather warms up so we can sit outside
google avatar

RICHARD P.

Yelp
Had bigger expectations. Hostess was very friendly. Kinda dumpy looking place. Wanted to try the corn vodka but its sold out so i tried the potato vodka instead. Very strong. Wanted a martini but they don't make that. Music too loud and room is echoed a lot. Its like $12 for 3 tiny vodka samples. Will stick with Tito's, Grey Goose snd Belvedere instead. Disappointed on what i tasted here.
google avatar

Yelp
Great range rover event, excellent band, wonderful staff and terrific iced coffee based liquors! Get a lift for the people who need one.A man was out of breath attempting the stairs....our group of 6 loved your quaint little delightful spot coming back
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
Be prepared to walk up a flight of stairs to a VERY small tasting room, the website photos are deceiving. I got one of their cocktails, I found it light and refreshing, my mother-in-law said it tasted like water... I don't drink much, nor do I like super sweet or super strong drinks so I enjoyed it. They have a handful of tables with bar stools for seating, its not comfortable so we didn't want to stay long. Would have loved to sit out on their deck if it wasnt pouring out. Beautiful grounds. Bring your own food unless you want to snack on their slim pickin'snack choices... pickles, chips, and mini tates cookies.
google avatar

russel c.

Yelp
Why does it smell like vomit? I saw another response to a similar comment saying it's because it's a farm. I've lived in farms all my life and they don't smell like vomit...
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere in tasting area. Bartender was very knowledgeable of the drinks she was serving. Great live music kept my stay there entertaining.
google avatar

Yelp
DONT GO HERE. I rarely leave bad reviews but I was verbally attacked by the waitress. I wouldnt take a drink for free. After asking a staff member where the restroom was, I went to the bathroom and left it in perfect shape, I got out of the restroom and was SCREAMED at by the waitress who got in my face and then said "YOU'RE TOO CLOSE TO ME". I wish I was exaggerating. A bouncer had to come resolve to problem because the waitress refused to let us return to our seats after her coworker told us it was fine to use that ladies room but she decided otherwise. We were a large group of 12 but it didn't matter to this waitress. I wouldn't take a drink for free from them. Don't waste your money because apparently the staff do not communicate.
google avatar

Yelp
We recently had a private tour of this place. Great experience! Rich and Amanda went above and beyond to make this a special experience for my husband's birthday. Their spirits are incredible, their cocktails are incredible, these people are incredible and this place is incredible...GO!
google avatar

Nikki T.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had so much fun going through the tour of the distillery and trying the tastings. The bourbons they make are complicated and have depth, I loved them. Our tour guide kept it interesting and answered all our questions and was more than happy to help us with photos. The staff we did the tasting with was knowledgable about the process and their products and even helped to recommend some other cool places to try in the area. I definitely recommend visiting this place.

Yelp
Merlot and Cabernet not cutting it? Not rising to the occasion with Riesling and Chardonnay? Look no further than LiV Vodka in the heart of North Fork Wine Country. For those traveling on the East End and looking for more than a great glass of vino, LiV Vodka is a much needed addition to your itinerary. Situated in a farmhouse dating back to the early 1900s, LiV offers sweeping views of farm country from a balcony on their second floor (also where the tasting room is located.) The tasting room is simple with ample bar space to begin your tasting journey. The many varieties of vodka are on display and for sale in addition to other bar accessories, novelties and North Fork Potato Chips. For $8 you sample three varieties of vodka (full shots) in a shot glass you can take with you as a souvenir. All of LiV's vodka's are potato vodkas and 100% gluten free. In addition to traditional vodka you may choose from their Sorbetta flavored vodka choices of lemon, lime, raspberry, strawberry and orange. Don't be fooled by the vibrant colors because all of the Sorbetta varieties are flavored naturally with fresh fruit; artificial flavors and colors are never added. A recent addition to the Long Island Spirits family (Long Island Spirits is the parent company of LiV Vodka) is Pine Barrens Whisky. In a partnership with Blue Point Brewing Company, Long Island Spirits uses BPBC's "Old Howling Bastard" instead of a traditional mash. A sampling of this single malt whisky can be purchased separate from the vodka tasting for $15.

Yelp
Manhattan prices. They have some overpriced mixed drinks made with their house vodka and BJs lemonade. Unimpressive. On the up side... There's live music and the singer kind of looks like Eric Roberts.
google avatar

Yelp
Sammy, was the best bartender, that I have come across. She was attentive, caring and really knew how to mix her drinks. Definitely can't wait to go back. Excellent place

Yelp
Came here after getting engaged at Baiting Hollow Farm next door. It is so close you can walk right over from Baiting Hollow. When I arrived I went upstairs and purchased a vodka flight. It was $11 for 3 shots. I started with the lemon shot and it was okay. The women at the first bar were not too friendly. My friend had told them I just got engaged and they seemed to be unimpressed (kinda rude) didn't even get a congratulations. After that I decided to go to the back bar so I actually never ended up taking the other two shots. I still have the tokens so maybe I will go back and hope those two bartenders aren't there! When I got to the back bar my friend ordered me a bloody mary and it was delicious!!! I took it on the back porch where we took a bunch of pretty pictures and had cake that we brought in! Overall, the place is nice and I would go back because the bloody mary was really good.

Yelp
Our first visit there today with 6 of us. Greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. The cocktails are out of the world!! The outside deck has a beautiful view. Very laid back and approachable! We can't wait to go back! A must stop!!!

Yelp
Love this place! Highly recommended! Has out door seating, live music and a wide variety of drinks to order from. Plus in-house made vodka, whiskey, bourbon and Gin available for purchase to take home with you. Great place to take the family and there's a food truck in the back to order some delicious grub. One stop shop for all your summer needs :)

Yelp
Had a great time at Liv yesterday. Place was very rustic and the bartenders were phenominal. Alicia took care of my wife and I, and made us try a few drinks that I normally wouldnt order. The drink was superb to say the least and I am already looking forward to going back to try some other ones. The use of bitters and other simple syrups really worked and was very unique. Highly reccomended!! Ask for Alicia when you arrive, she knows her stuff and will take care of you.

Yelp
Last minute stop for some tastings - Had the vodka flight - they let you choose 3/7(?) for $9 and you keep the shot glass. I tried the original, raspberry, and espresso. The raspberry and espresso are liqueurs, and go down as such. The espresso is no joke - if you like that strong coffee taste, you absolutely have to try that. The raspberry was a little too sweet for my palette. Do not be scared of the original!! Yes, the liqueurs sound fruity and delicious but you MUST try the original. It is one of the most sip-able vodkas I've encountered. It's incredibly smooth. The glasses are frosted, and the original will most likely be the first they serve you - it's fantastic cold.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
Who knew they grew potatoes on Long Island? Who knew they made vodka out of them? LiV Vodka -- aka Long Island Vodka is an 80 proof, all potato-based vodka. I did a tasting flight of a few different flavors and Strawberry was my favorite! Don't forget, you can take your LIV shot glass home as a souvenir.
google avatar

Chuck C.

Yelp
Terrible service. Very rude bartender! I don't know why she was so nasty. One of many examples is we asked for a tray for the tastings since it's three per tasting and before we could finish our question she barked "NO!" Everything she did was with an attitude and very weak pours. To top it off, the vodka is not very good. We will not be back (all 12 of us)
google avatar

Denise A.

Yelp
What a beautiful places and spectacular idea for the Northfork. I am not a big wine drinker... but I do love vodka. LIV is deeelicious. "On the rocks please". When you go to the facility they create the most amazing drinks. The staff were not only knowledgeable but fun and bubbly as well. I give this places a ten. This place is so cool. You sit on back deck and enjoy your refreshing cocktail. They actually had something for everyone in my group. Pine barrens was a hit!!

Yelp
Place smells pretty bad. We got some samples and the lady with tattoos was kinda rude not friendly at all. The samples were the only great part of the place. Probably wouldn't come back.
