My sisters and I were feeling the urge to continue our little hang out session and stopped in for some drinks after a family dinner nearby. None of us live in Denver and we don't really get the chance to spend time together all that often, so seizing the opportunity to chill a bit before we all needed to part ways was rad.
I pulled out my phone and searched the trusty ol' Yelp app to see what might pique our interest, and ended up eyeballs deep in the reviews and photos for Long Table. It was only about a five minute drive from where we were - total plus - and when we arrived, street parking was surprisingly abundant. Double plus.
Like I said, I'm not a Denver resident, and quite honestly don't like being in the city all that much, but the little area we found this place in was cozy and nestled right in the middle of a neighborhood area. It was super quaint, super cute, and looked like an awesome place to kill a couple of hours! There was quite a bit of construction happening right around the block, so it seems like the area will become a little busier, and parking may become a bit more difficult as time passes.
We stopped in early evening, but the place wasn't crazy busy; we were able to find a nice, open place to sit before two of us walked to the counter to grab a couple drinks. Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and patient with our questions, which we really appreciated.
The lounge area and outdoor patio area are kept clean and tidy; no empty glasses hanging out or trash cluttering up the floors and tables. The ambiance is super relaxed and laid back, but I could see that sitting inside may get a little loud and cramped during really busy nights. For us, it was a perfect place to grab a beer before heading home; for you, it might be perfect to swing by before heading into town for a night out.
The selection isn't overwhelming, but diverse enough to satisfy quite a few different tastes, and the price point is reasonable. It would be sweet if they had some rotating selections (maybe they do now or will in the future, I'm not sure), but I'd most definitely be open to stopping by again if I'm ever in the area!
