The 27 Best Breweries in Denver | Eater Denver

"The slogan “good beer for good neighbors” pretty much covers it. With a spacious, sunny taproom and patio; a steady lineup of food trucks; and an even steadier lineup of suds, this Park Hill brewhouse doesn’t reinvent the wheel — it just fosters community by excelling at its craft, turning out fruited Berliner Weisses, West Coast IPAs, and blonde coffee stouts with equal skill and care." - Eater Staff

One more pint please! One of the best neighbourhood in town! What a beer! What a staff! Colorado IPA - 100% from local ingredients 💪 Belgium 🇧🇪 golden ale - tender and balanced! And please welcome one and only beermosa! Good job!

The winter porter was lighter than figured would be and had some nice spice to it, almost kind of between a porter and a brown ale spiced really enjoyed. And Taylor was just hanging out all by herself...

Google
Great neighborhood brewery--delish beer, nice staff, wonderful indoor/outdoor spaces, and they almost always have a food truck outside.

Long Table Brewhouse is a hidden gem in the North Park Hill neighborhood of Denver, CO. I drive 25 minutes there monthly for my friend's comedy show and I keep coming back. The comedy works when the room feels cozy and intimate. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, except for that one lady who heckled and quickly learned why she shouldn't have. Umm... yeah, don't do that. Also, my dog thinks their patio is his second home now, and expects strangers to scratch his ears. I could always find closer breweries, but Long Table Brewhouse has earned my loyalty.

Google
Awesome neighborhood brewery with a good selection of beers. Mostly clean, classic styles. Between two visits I've had almost everything on the current menu, and while nothing is bad, there is room for improvement on a couple of the beers. Id put the helles and pumpkin beers up against any locally though, very nice. Taproom itself is nice, bright, open. Staff has been great, friendly, helpful. There's an outdoor area. They're pet friendly. Good food truck/stand every time I've been. They have a couple of TVs in the back room with sports occasionally. Overall great experiences and highly recommended!

Hate to post this. I love this brewery. My friend and beer rep for eagle rock were sitting at the back bar chatting away, discussing how to add to the profolio when suddenly we were asked to leave... we were disrupting a comedy show. I was asked to step outside by some random person to discuss. The bar tender was friendly and tried to explain that there was a show. Totally confused that I was being asked to leave... I was defensive. I paid for drinks... been coming here for years... and now being heckled by the meek 14 person audience to leave. When I did step outside there were customers who didn't like the way we were treated and they themselves chose to leave. How embarrassing. I am a somewhat regular, invited a friend for the first time (dogs no longer aloud inside)... and treated like an ass hole by the "comedian" and his crowd. Wow. Not only will I never come back, I will never recommend this brewery. I am a beer manager at a popular beer retail establishment who always gives recommendations for breweries... my recommendations will no longer be positive. If you decide to go to this brewery... great beers and great staff... don't go on a night where there is a show...

Google
A great local brewery with a delicious variety of beers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Marzen and Berliner Weiss were great. I went there with my two young children for an Oktoberfest event and had a great time. There was a bouncy castle and a lemonade stand that was fundraising for a local elementary school. A most excellent brewery. I wish I lived closer.

Google
We had our baby shower at Long Table Brewing a few Sundays ago and it was absolutely perfect! Nate was very responsive and helpful in the planning process and the reservable party space was super cute with nice tables, chairs, and artwork. The service was fantastic and our family and friends loved the drink selection. Nate also scheduled a yummy food truck for that day where we bought lunch for our guests. Definitely give this little brewery your business!

Yelp
This is the best brewery in Denver. Friendly faces, every time and enjoyable beers. Fantastic neighbors.

Yelp
First time coming to this brew house. The beers were pretty tasty and the bartender was super friendly. They are dog friendly and we saw so many cute floofers. Cute area with a park catty corner to the brew house. Perfect for a family outing.

Yelp
Typical Dtown - entitled boys club dog brahs. Out. Interaction went as follows "Hi, you kind of I slip in at the bar to grab a beer". Looks down and sees large dogs taking up area. " so is your dog friendly (2 large German shepherd)" "Lady, if you don't love dogs you shouldn't come here" Endorsed by bar person "yeah we live dogs not customers" Right oh, I won't be back.

Lisa M.

Yelp
Well. The beer is good. But I've had better service at a gas station in Nebraska. I have to side with the other few reviews about the attitude from staff. I couldn't believe how terribly our group was treated (who were bringing them in a lot of money and tips). Snotty, rude, entitled and downright nasty servers. I can't believe people pay money to be treated like such crap by their staff- who frankly were just a$$holes to everyone . Go up the street to Station 26- they're much more friendly.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot! Wide variety of food trucks! Love it! Great folks gather here.

Yelp
I've visited this brewery several times, and do not recommend it. While the beer itself is just fine, the service is consistently poor. The individuals behind the bar were simply rude. Honestly, they made me and my friend feel unwelcome. When we went to close out, they ignored us to the point that another customer had to point out that we needed help. I love supporting local spots, but I felt embarrassed to be here. Please support better breweries.

Yelp
Stopped in before dinner at Yuan Wonton. Beer was delicious and staff was great. Chatted with some regulars who were super friendly. Wish they had a location in the southern suburbs.

Max B.

Yelp
Pretty solid beer...friendly staff. Kids are everywhere, like daycare meets a baby shower. It's a great place if that's what you can roll with. Gotta always give props to your neighborhood brewery.

Yelp
My sisters and I were feeling the urge to continue our little hang out session and stopped in for some drinks after a family dinner nearby. None of us live in Denver and we don't really get the chance to spend time together all that often, so seizing the opportunity to chill a bit before we all needed to part ways was rad. I pulled out my phone and searched the trusty ol' Yelp app to see what might pique our interest, and ended up eyeballs deep in the reviews and photos for Long Table. It was only about a five minute drive from where we were - total plus - and when we arrived, street parking was surprisingly abundant. Double plus. Like I said, I'm not a Denver resident, and quite honestly don't like being in the city all that much, but the little area we found this place in was cozy and nestled right in the middle of a neighborhood area. It was super quaint, super cute, and looked like an awesome place to kill a couple of hours! There was quite a bit of construction happening right around the block, so it seems like the area will become a little busier, and parking may become a bit more difficult as time passes. We stopped in early evening, but the place wasn't crazy busy; we were able to find a nice, open place to sit before two of us walked to the counter to grab a couple drinks. Everyone behind the counter was super friendly and patient with our questions, which we really appreciated. The lounge area and outdoor patio area are kept clean and tidy; no empty glasses hanging out or trash cluttering up the floors and tables. The ambiance is super relaxed and laid back, but I could see that sitting inside may get a little loud and cramped during really busy nights. For us, it was a perfect place to grab a beer before heading home; for you, it might be perfect to swing by before heading into town for a night out. The selection isn't overwhelming, but diverse enough to satisfy quite a few different tastes, and the price point is reasonable. It would be sweet if they had some rotating selections (maybe they do now or will in the future, I'm not sure), but I'd most definitely be open to stopping by again if I'm ever in the area!

Yelp
Great beer and great atmosphere! Met a couple friends here for the first time and it was a blast. We will be back!

Yelp
Chelsea is fucking awesome, atmosphere is great, Josh is the best brewer, awesome vibe great beer and delicious food trucks.

Olivia N.

Yelp
Are you looking for a Cheers bar? How's about a Cheers brewery. No Sam and Diane nonsense here. Only serious beersiness here! Delicious beers and knowledgeable, friendly beer-tenders here to answer any questions or offer a delicious pairing for your food truck nosh (different food truck every day.) My only complaint is that they are closed on Monday. Come say hi to Chelsea, Christie, and Alex!

Yelp
We drove in for a bite to eat & some beer! The food truck was packing up so we stuck to a liquid diet. TUCKER -- such great staff. Kid was so cool. He LOVES his job. We tried a few before committing to a flight of 6. He told us their back stories & what his favorites were that we just HAD to taste once he told us about it. The IPAS hit! Hazy X reminds me of a few diff brews I've had before. Idk why it's familiar but thats what I'd get a tall glass of! The sunset outside was super cute. See photos. Adorable. They're dog friendly & have water bowls by the picnic tables. I'd love to come back when things are back in full swing. Deff a place to get lively at! Thanks Tucker!

Yelp
Stopped in to meet up with some old friends here. Nice brewery atmosphere to hang out in. Cute patio area and comfy inside. We liked their scrabble tile themed tables. The beer was very good. We all especially loved their porter. But their selections were solid across the board.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
Place was moderately busy when stopped in with a friend, maybe 1/3 full. Cute set up, though beer selection was also moderate. Service was aloof and ineffectual. One bartender left when they clearly still needed two people working, beer was not cold, and they seemed to be extremely short on glasses, & staff seemed taxed on managing pouring tap beer for a handful of orders; shortly later it seemed it was more about getting the side work done over waiting on people in general when place was supposed to be open over an hour more. Nice strategy at maintaining a business to just start ignoring customers so they'll leave well before closing. If you live in the neighborhood, it's probably decent enough to stop by on occasion but on the list of breweries in Denver, I wouldn't rush to hit this one.

Yelp
Great beer, service, and food truck! Dogs welcome inside and out. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Yelp
Love our neighborhood brewhouse. The beertenders are wonderful...friendly and attentive. There is always a good selection of beers on tap and all are great. Love that it's kid and dog friendly. The biggest down side is that some parents have decided that it's a playground and free-for-all for their kids. It's one thing to take your kids and have them sit at a table and play a game, it's another to have them playing chase in the building, running into customers. Seems like the dog parents are more attentive to their pooches, than the parents to their kids. Kudos to the patient staff, who incidentally are beertenders, not babysitters.
google avatar

Dorito T.

Yelp
Everything is sticky and the place reeks of farts. Limited beer selection, no food. Wipe the floors and tables down for Gods sake.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
Has a fat selection of craft beers and a really cute inside and outside seating area. Host a lot of local food trucks o be sure to checkout who is going to be there!
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
I was completely excited for this brewery to open! Great beer, awesome people running the show, and a variety of food trucks during the week! BOOM! Awesome! Here's the flip side of the coin - all the kids. everywhere. I get it - people want to go out and socialize and include the kids. How about those who don't want to be surrounded with children and just imbibe with adults? At my last visit, there was a dad changing their kid's diaper on a picnic table. NOT COOL. By all means, enjoy the beer and location.
google avatar

Dawn J.

Yelp
Great selection of beers, cool atmosphere, nice patio and food truck options. Would go back!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for good beer and even better beer tenders, stop by long house. dani and sav gave a+ service and even better beer recommendations! definitely our new go to
google avatar

J G.

Yelp
I like the place! Good beer, friendly people, and rotating food trucks. It's a nice ride from Capitol Hill area to enjoy your summer day! Patio has room for everyone and there's plenty of shade. Dog friendly outside. Ice cream and non profit bike shop down the block. And the pizza truck cannolis are AWESOME, rotation every other Tuesday and Thursday. Allegra pizza!!!!!
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Great brews! Amazing service! Dannah is bar none. Check it out! It's new but great beer to offer!

Jill H.

Yelp
Had the best time hosting a party at Long Table. Wonderful service, great beer, and super easy to work with for our needs. Highly recommend!

Yelp
One of my f route breweries in Denver. It feels like a neighborhood bar and is always dog-friendly. Good beers and good food truck options.

Yelp
Beers, and... Well, there's beers. This place played host to a meet up of a bunch of us with new (and/or slightly used) babies. First of all, props to them for taking that risk. Second, major props for allowing all of those beer drinking women to take over half of the place, throw a big blanket on the floor, and let a big bunch of tired, sleep deprived new parents drink & socialize. Good beer, nice people, and a unique spot in an otherwise odd place for a little brewery. Good on ya!
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
This is a great little neighborhood bar with good beer. I liked the English Bitter especially but the IPA was good, especially for those just getting into IPA's and the Porter was great even though I usually don't seek them out. The patio is perfect - very local feel and just super laid back. We were inside for a while too and like it there as well. The staff is great and helpful in choosing beers. A really nice addition to this part of town!

Sam H.

Yelp
Awesome neighborhood spot! Great for families and events! Super friendly staff and the food trucks out front always have the best food!

Yelp
Went here on a Friday evening. Saw that there was a newer brewery and we wanted to go check it out. When we walked up we noticed there was a good sized patio and the inside had a good number of tables. The bar had about ten seats. There was specific place to order. You either go near the computer at the end of the bar or you just walk anywhere along the bar and make eye contact with a bartender. We noticed when we walked up that they are dog friendly which is always a plus. They had 9 beers on tap. One of those was a dark beer and then others were Amber and lighter beers. We ordered the Bitter, IPA, Belgian, Porter and Amber. Out of them the Bitter and Amber were our favorites. To go back, we were able to get a seat at the bar and we were greeted right away and then many times after that. The bartenders were very friendly. The beers were pretty good. They said they have been open for 3 months and we'll have to go back a few months down the road to see if they have anything new. The downside to this brewery is that there were kids everywhere. There were probably the same amount of kids to adults and the kids were running everywhere! There was no control of them. I get a kid friendly brewery but the parents should have more control. But other than that everything was good.

Yelp
Wrote a great review and im taking it back. I'm in sales and customer service. I have never made a negative review. Talked to the owner and he is awesome. Beer tasted amazing. Service was absolute terrible. Beer tender named Zach was disgustingly rude and ruined the whole vibe. Because of him I will never be returning. DO NOT GO HERE
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
So happy this place is in the neighborhood! They always bring in the best food trucks. It has a great vibe, lots of outdoor seating. Only have had their siason...they had a handful of porters, ipas and a few lagers. They also carry Happy Leaf Kombucha which is my favorite!!! Looking forward to coming back for another food trunk and a beer. Check out their website for a calendar of food trucks and events.
google avatar

Caitlin S.

Yelp
We tried a sample of 6 taps and all of them were amazing and high quality. It's a rare treat to find a brewery with such skill in diversity. Welcoming environment for all ages, and that is perfect in this friendly neighborhood!
google avatar

Dillon P.

Yelp
favorite brewery in park hill. Definitely qualifies as a hidden gem. Beers are quality and staff is friendly and knowledgeable..definitely worth checking out.

D K.

Yelp
Not a beer drinker, so I tried the mimosa beer to be polite, oh my, I am hooked. I am 40 years old, and I just became a beer drinker. And my husband loves their dark chocolate beer, so win-win. They are great, and are always doing things with the community. People are there with their kids and dogs, it is a nice environment to be in, and the food trucks are pretty good.
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
All of their beers are ON point, and they offer a variety of pour sizes... Long (Pint), Short (Half Pint) and tasters. My current fave is definitely their Hazy IPA. They always have Kombucha from Happy Leaf on tap for a non-alcoholic alternative. Great spot... super friendly staff and owners. They have Crowlers to go of any of their on draft beers. Regular food truck schedule can be found on Facebook. Definitely not a spot to miss.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Love, love, love the Long Table opened so close to us. It's much bigger than I expected and all the outside space is fantastic with summer approaching. Most nights I've been there, there's a food truck parked outside. And if you are looking for something sweet, Em's Ice Cream also just opened a half a block away. Swoon. I've had several of their beers and enjoyed each of them. They have a smaller menu but a wide variety - heavy beer, light beer, hoppy beer, beer with high alcohol content, beer with low alcohol (well, lower.) They also have kombucha on tap if you'd rather not have a beer. And the people who have been working here any time I visit are just the nicest kind of people around. I foresee many more evenings with Sir Nicholas at Long Table. And I'm not sad about that.
google avatar

Claire G.

Yelp
Biked to this brewery on a sunny Sunday and enjoyed my afternoon here very much. This is a newer brewery with a fairly sizable space on the inside and a mid-sized patio. It was big enough on the inside to host an event, which I will keep in mind for the future. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our beers. Beers come in 3 sizes for most beers. The beers they have are pretty basic varieties - IPAs, APAs, milk stouts, amber ales, etc. I ordered a maibock (tis the season, after all), and enjoyed it a lot. Nothing fancy, but it was done very well for the style. Husband ordered an IPA and said it was pretty good and my friend ordered an APA. She said it was okay. There was a great food truck out front and a lively, but family and pet-friendly patio scene on Sunday afternoon. I would definitely come here again, when in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Just moved to the area and wanted to check this place out. Walked in to find a man furious after someone who works there apparently poured water on his kid to discipline them. (????) Okay, super weird start. Go to order and am met with suspicion for my out-of-state license. I flash my military ID (hence why I just moved and don't have a CO ID) just to reassure, but still nope. Whatever, it's the babyface curse and they have to be diligent. But then the employee takes my license and gives it to some random guy and his friend sitting at the bar who don't even work there. They take pictures on their phones and send them around with much discussion. Only then am I denied service after also overhearing that I don't appear to be the "military type." Wow, that's simultaneously wrong and degrading. Plus now pictures of my personal information are on several random people's phones? I understand the desire to be cautious, but this was totally inappropriate.

Yelp
quick stop at the new neighborhood brewing co. was greeted promptly, ordered a pint of the dry-hopped blonde ale, and headed to the open-air patio. the beer was flavorful and light. after enjoying the blonde, I ordered some food from Farm To Truck and headed to the bar to get a second round. after waiting a few minutes, I ordered another blonde and headed back to the patio, to collect my food and enjoy the sunset and dine. I look forward to their future beer releases and having Long Table in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Was with my boyfriend and his friend who was visiting from out of town. We stopped by here because we've been checking out local breweries and this one popped up as one of the closest in our area. Not only was the beer mediocre (not a very broad selection while lacking in any kind of distinct flavors), but the bartender was very rude. I'm not one to normally get hung up on bad service. I understand that people have bad days, and we all go through it. However, all three of us felt like this lady went out of her way to make us feel unwelcome. Got a very "ugh why are you here? I don't feel like working" vibe. When we walked in, she made it a point to not greet us and instead walked up with a frustrated look asking "what would you like?" We hadn't even had a second to look at the menu yet. After she gave us our beers, she proceeded to sit in the corner of the bar chit-chatting with her friend the entire time. Maybe it's because we went in on a weekday and inconvenienced her? Or maybe it's because our licenses were from out of state. Not sure what the problem was but I know I won't be coming back. Every other brewery we've been to in Colorado has been amazing. You can skip this place.
google avatar

Joshua D.

Yelp
More beers on tap and Merch is also now available!!! Still a great relaxing place to be.

Ethan K.

Yelp
Awesome beer. Amazing staff. A great neighborhood brewery. Inside and out, the environment is perfect during any season.
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
Great beer selection! We were just visiting in Denver when we came across this place and really enjoyed our time here.
google avatar

Jon R.

Yelp
Super cool place on Fairfax but if it only had TV's to watch games on Sunday, it would get 6 out of 5 stars.
google avatar

Gerald B.

Yelp
Really good beer and a fun space. They always have a good food truck out front as well. The only crappy part is that this brewery attracts lots of parents, and sadly their children. It is hard to have fun with screaming children running around and being annoying. If you are an adult without kids go anywhere else but here, or take some headphones. And for the guy that says "yeah there are kids get over it..." I say, no . Take your kids somewhere more appropriate that won't piss people off..
google avatar

Nora M.

Yelp
We love coming here! A great neighborhood brewery in park hill. They have a good selection of beers. My favorite is the Colorado IPA. They always have good food trucks outside to get some food. Nice outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. Dogs allowed inside too which we really appreciate. Plenty of space inside for larger parties. Overall a great place!
google avatar

Dylan E.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the beertender and the beer. Met a guy who ended up paying for our beer -- this short of thing never happens but was very appreciated. He also recommended a lot of other cool places. Really liked the ambiance of this micro brewery.

Yelp
A hidden gem, wish the word hadn't gotten out, but it has! Love the vibe and their beers are terrific! Very kid and dog friendly as well.
