Long View Gallery is a cross between an art and an event space. I came here for a Glenlivet tasting this past week. It's a big, airy space with 20 ft ceilings and can hold up to 400 guests, so it's useful for bigger functions. The gallery has modern track lighting and two halls. The main one was being used as a mingling/reception area and had been decorated with all sorts of gentlemanly trinkets like pocket squares, hipster glasses, an hourglass clock, etc. They had set up a small bar in the rear center. There was plenty of space to move around and check out the collections.
The second hall, which is accessible by a ramp, is where the tasting occurred. They had decorated it with plenty of leather couches, pillows, and tables laden with 12/15/18-year old Glenlivets, aroma cannisters, a pitcher of water, and even candles. The space was large but cozy with all the furniture. They even have wall panels for projections.
It's a great space for art shows, exhibitions, corporate get togethers, and even weddings. The doors and windows at the front are all glass and allow for lots of natural light to stream into the space. It's conveniently located near the Washington Convention Center.
