I've ate here many times in the last year. The first experience was great, but it keeps going downhill... There used to be long waits, and the food was great. However, you walk in now, and it's practically a "ghost town".
I can only assume that it's because the service and food quality is deteriorating. I have eaten here twice in the last month, and both times the service and food were unacceptable.
The servers have repeatedly forgotten things, and need to be asked multiple times. Half of the time we'll be waiting while we watch them sit around and talk. After dealing with the manager, I'm pretty sure I understand why it is the way it is.
On a recent visit, I decided to order a LH (Long Horn) Burger, because the ribs and steaks have been overcooked the past couple of times. When I took my first bite, I immediately noticed the burger crumbling. I ordered it medium, but it was so dry and overcooked that I couldn't eat it.
I'm not one to usually send something back, but the place was practically empty and there was no excuse for such a poorly cooked burger. (I'm pretty sure that I could make a better burger in the microwave.)
Anyhow, after watching our party finish their food, the manager finally brought me out a replacement. He seemed very smug. I immediately noticed that it was missing bacon, but didn't say anything because everybody else was done eating and I didn't want them to have to wait another 30 minutes for it to be corrected.
Also, again the manager didn't care enough to check the ingredients on his business' signature burger before bringing it out. I can't expect his staff to care anymore than he does.
For anybody that's visiting the area, I'd recommend Texas Roadhouse over Long Horn every day of the week. I've been there many times, and I can't remember a single time that I was as displeased as I am with Long Horn.
Good thing LH has a great location, because I don't know too many people that would go out of their way for Hot Garbage.
