The experience was great. The food was wonderful and the server was the best I've seen thus far hands down. (Alice from the Brady bunch). Ask for her when you go there. I promise you you won't be disappointed

This location is hit or miss. I order to go and have received a French onion soup with no actual soup multiple times. Sometimes it’s correctly filled about half way, other times its like pictured below. Will not return.

I’m not usually one to love chain restaurants. Usually I find them a passable place to get a meal, but nothing to write home about, to quote the old saying. This Longhorn is the exception to all the rules. We were passing through from Nashville to Florida and stopped here for dinner. Every single thing was perfect. The service was friendly and prompt, our steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked, my 7-pepper salad was crispy and fresh and not just made of iceberg lettuce, but chock-full of spring mix and romaine. Even the kids meal was excellent. And all of it for $55. I’ve spent four times that at fancy steak houses in Nashville for far worse food. I will most definitely be back!

11/21/24. We will start with the appetizers we had the fried shrimp and it was fabulous. I ordered the strawberry peacon salad and it was good also. The rideye and sweet potato came out and the sweet potato was good but my steak was the worst steak I had in a long time, it was fatty and had some stringy what ever you want to call it through my steak. Their were 2 of them running through my steak. So for the money spent on that kind of steak you would think I would be better than that. I put a pic of all the fat on my steak..

This place was outstanding. The food was phenomenal and the service was top notch!! We had Euniqua as our server and she was absolutely perfect!! I would go back just for the service but the food was amazing too!! Highly recommend!! Our family got the Nee York, Salmon, Ribs and Chicken tenders and all were excellent

June 2024 review. 9 Months ago, this was a 5 star review. I know any one thing can change, but the total experience degraded. This time, the strawberry pecan salad was not fresh and filled with brown tinged romaine stalks. Other fruits not very fresh. Shrimp skewers were okay. My wife's chopped steak and sweet potato okay. The bread was dry and overheated. Hostess asked how many, grabbed two menus and walked away. I asked if we were supposed to follow. She was pretty dismissive of us. We're much older, she was very young. New pics included. Note the brown lettuce. I think you can see it. When I pointed it out to the server, she said she would tell the kitchen. Later the manager walked by twice but studiously avoided eye contact. Looks like they are off my list again. 9 Months Ago: First time in years that food was that good here! If it was a fluke it was still great! I ordered a ribeye. Which was just right for medium. My wife got sirloin that was little tougher but still good. The happy surprise was the strawberry pecan salad that was DELICIOUS! Crisp lettuce, juicy mandarin oranges, pecans that tasted like fresh pecans (that's pee-cans in local slang). Everything about the salad had me dancing a little in my chair. Not many things get me that excited at my age nowadays! All the food was excellent or better! Service was pleasant and I didn't get grief about needing 3 take home boxes! We are putting Longhorns Valdosta back on our list and hope they keep it up!

Cameron served us in Bar Booth. My husband had the Delmonico with Brussels sprouts, delicious. I had a fabulous Lamb chop meal. We both had Caesar salads which were also great! Cameron was so nice and polite. Great meal and we will be back!

Have you ever been a victim of racism, WELCOME TO VALDOSTA LONGHORN. I had the time to let loose an I an my (White) husband came to longhorns even though the wait to be seated was short I was soon faced with issues in todays society. My waitress brought us the wrong food which made another customer upset. Instead of the manager coming out to resolve the issue we where left to figure out why the food was not delivered to the right customers. I was given an excuse that we had the same name but still we decided to leave peacefully because the other customer was clearly upset. We never received our food, we where told we did not order anything after overseeing an waiting 40 minutes to receive someone else’s food. I decided to call an let the manager the next morning know of the situation but as usual in Georgia “the customer is never right”. I was given a gift card an when I. Came to retrieve the gift card I was told by the same manger (Domonique) that sent me the gift card that she was told I was the issue the prior night, I was falsely accused of telling someone I would snatch her hair out & also accused of fighting in the parking lot even though there was no altercation AT ALL. I am very disappointed in the service I received my first visit at longhorns in Valdosta & deeply think that they need better management and servers. I expect management to come on here an make me seem like a bad person but me an God know the truth. Happy Eats & Safe Travels. Try Austin’s Cattle House instead! Better service better people better food. 10/10

Yelp
Very nice evening, here working from out of state. My New York Strip was very nicely prepared, nice meal for end of day. Nice clean bar area.

Yelp
We chose to eat with you all because it's a familiar "usual" great experience. We are here from out of town. We came into this location and were welcomed by wonderful hosts. The host who sat us was wonderful as well. Our server was great at first but then drifted. We got our salads and two seconds later our food came out. We didn't say anything. Food came out. A side was missing. It finally came out and the street corn was undercooked and looked rushed. Even if it was over cooked it was way over seasoned. My daughter's steak came out and I couldn't even get a fork through it. Ok, no biggy. Sometimes a steak can be off. Temperature as fine it was the steak it's self. I ended up sharing my food with my daughter because we didn't want to wait on a recook. Asked for drinks never received them. The steaks were very very salty. Asked for bread a literal crouton hard bread made its way to the table at later... asked 2x for a drink refill. When we stopped her she said oh yeah here's your bill. In the middle of eating dinner hands us the bill. Ummm... ok. We paid. Still no drinks. No refills. No bread. No dinner for my teen daughter.... We still left the young server a 20% tip because that's who we are. But we are very disappointed in the quality. Service outcome and how no one offered anything else to help the situation. Two thumbs down big time.

Yelp
We were traveling through Valdosta overnight on Father's Day. It was dinner time, so we decided to go to Longhorn. Our server, a great guy, did a wonderful job with us. However, my ribs were overcooked and hard and dry, and my baked sweet potato was not baked enough and was hard as a rock. The restaurant was absolutely filthy from all the business that day. I would never go back.

Yelp
It's a chain, I got it but if there's one thing you can usually count on with places like this in consistency. It was close to my hotel and convenient. I've gotten the Steak Salad before and honestly for the money it's pretty good. Good portions, steak was cooked well (MR) and salad (romaine) seemed pretty fresh and cut well with a decent amount of crumbled blue cheese. I had mine with Honey Mustard and an IPA at the bar. I haven't tried much else at this restaurant but I would definitely go back and try some other items.

Yelp
Food was great. Service? Felt like I was at a four star restaurant. Inside is clean. What made them get four out of five is the outside appearance. Trash all in parking lot. Make sure Evelyn is your service. She is so energetic, sweet.

Yelp
Jordan was amazing! He made us feel special! He checked on us regularly. His personality was outstanding and service was excellent!

Yelp
Awesome service. However there was a problem with my steak and the mgr almost acted like it was my fault. Weird interaction with Josh the mgr.

Yelp
On a cross country road trip. Been driving all day and I was starving. Normally I tend toward seafood and nonchain choices, but this is Valdosta, Georgia. I had been wanting to try Longhorn for a long time and this was my chance. The decor is cozy and a little hokey which is kinda perfect. No rye but they had big rocks for my Johnny Black--props for that. Dinner was Ribeye Steak, salad and baked potato. The steak was good and cooked to a perfect medium--not too rare. Service by Autumn was very propmt and attentive. So everything was good all around. What earns this place the extra star to 4 is the VALUE! My steak dinner and scotch on the rocks totalled $31. It would have been 3 times that at Capitol Grill or Hyde Park, let alone Morton's. So yeah, I liked it a lot and you should go
google avatar

Carlos D.

Yelp
Food and service was really good, but unfortunately the place smelled like a piss , the reason we stayed is because we were starving.

Yelp
Consistent as always no matter what town the service alone is excellent lots of places to eat off of this exit so if not here I'd eat on this exit every time. The food was a little off but they made it right very quickly

Sue E.

Yelp
Entire dining experience great from entering to leaving, new manager Cass is top notch. Longhorn you did well with new management

Nina P.

Yelp
Service definitely could be 20x better. Shelby was our server. I'm sure you've had bad reviews on her already. With that being said, Maybe¿ go over training again on how to treat people. Simple fix. Didn't have a good experience at all.

Yelp
I've really come to prefer Longhorn over most others. The salads and service had been great the last several times we have been there. I love their strawberry and chicken salad. They have great coffee and fabulous desserts as well. Their steaks and bread are yummy.
google avatar

Al S.

Yelp
I went here 6 years ago because family all suggested I go here . The absolute worst steak for 32 dollars I've ever had . More fat than meat . Longhorn maybe good in other locations yet it was terrible here

Yelp
Food usually good, service too, atmosphere pleasant. I have had a few bad experiences in the last 20 years but I guess everyone will at some time or another

Yelp
We happen to stop by here on our way to St. Augustine, FL to have dinner. When we walked in (6:30pm) our first impression, is the place is dated and and needs some TLC. Also, the hostess was nowhere to be found. My son and I went to the restroom (which was filthy, not to mention the men's bathroom - our son found a very undesirable and disgusting encounter). When we returned, they had seated my husband (after 5 minutes of no hostess to be around) in the bar area where the bench cushions had problems (sunken and not stable). When the waitress/bartender Mykala arrived she asked us for any drinks and we just told her we wanted water. She came back with the drinks and some bread and we just had her take our order since we were in hurry. We had order the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a Cesar Salad and Asparagus, Sierra Chicken with House Salad and Sweet Potato and grilled unseasoned chicken tenders with a plain sweet potato. We sat there and waited 30 minutes for the salads and they never came out. We started to wonder what was the holdup since it's always served so quickly. We saw that the Waitress/Bartender Mykala never once went back to check on our order because she was having a long personal conversation with a customer who was drinking at the bar. She then left a moment and brought him his take out order and still continue her conversation while other people were trying to get her attention so they can pay and leave. We also were trying to get her attention to see what happen to the salads. She finally came to our table after my husband flagged her down because she was having another conversation with the customer that was trying to pay. We then asked what was going on with our order and why haven't the salads ever come out. She then said that there was two large parties on the other side that was slowing the kitchen down (which seemed inaccurate as we had seen all the tables on that side all served with their meals as we went to the restroom earlier). Mind you she didn't check our order not even once since she was to busy with her personal conversations and getting drinks. So she said she was going to check on it and then after 40 minutes we get the salads. We asked about the rest and she said they were working on it. So we waited another 10 minutes and I was telling my husband to let's just go since it was not looking very good on our end and we still had long drive ahead. At that moment, she returned and gave us an update on our order and said it will be another 4 more minutes (which during our whole experience she never came to give us any update or even check if we needed any more water). I then told her we were about to leave if it didn't come since we have already waited almost an hour. After a bit more, the food finally arrived at 7:33pm and it was all cold and the unseasoned chicken tenders were all covered in seasoning. We see a man walking by and I asked him if he was the manager (Mike W.) and he responded that he was. We then told him all about our experience starting with the no hostess and the waitress/bartender personal conversation to the seat cushions, long wait and the cold and wrong food order. He then defended the seat cushions by saying that the cushions we redone but they failed to put the springs back. I then told him if the staff was aware of it then why seat us or any customers in that area. He didn't even respond to my question and just kept repeating the same thing about the cushion. We also brought to his attention that the tenders were seasoned (we returned it) and he just apologized and asked to get another thing but after this whole long wait, we didn't dare as we were afraid to have to wait an eternity to get our order. Also Mike (Manager), never even acknowledged the cold food or address the waitress/bartender or no hostess at the front reception area, he only cared about the bench cushion. Mykala (waitress/bartender) came back and said "I put the order right" but didn't even apologize or seemed genuine of her concern of our experience. So we paid and left to never return to this location in the future. If you want poor service, terrible seats, cold food, disgusting and dirty bathrooms with an MIA hostess and waitress/bartender who has a mouthful of personal stories and a manager that only cares about defending his bench cushions, then this is the place for you! EATERS BEWARE!

Yelp
If I could do zero stars I would. They served my pregnant wife RAW salmon! Do not recommend.

Yelp
Food was good and what I expected but what stood out was the service!! I went a month ago but I wish I remembered the name, he had just recently started there but he hooked me up with the good butter and bread lol steaks are on point as always

Yelp
Exactly what you would expect from this popular chain. It was conveniently located near a well populated area with hotels, restaurants, shopping, etc. it was clean and had a good vibe. I was greeted warmly when I entered. I ordered to go from the bar and had a drink while I was waiting. Good and strong cocktails and full bar. The bartender was super friendly. Food was prepared quickly. I had a salad which was crispy and fresh and so good. I also had the Red Rock grilled shrimp and it was great. I definitely recommend this dish!!! It comes with a side of garlic drawn butter that I could've just drank. It was good all over everything. It comes with rice and two sides. The broccoli was really good as well. Follow me on instagram sweet_maloy. Bottom line is I would definitely return.

Yelp
We were visiting GA, originally from Fl. And the steakhouse did not disappoint in Valdosta either. I got a medium rare steak which was perfect! Good service as well. Everything came out in a timely manner and the staff was friendly too.

Yelp
Came here with my fiancé's grandfather and grandmother, it was fantastic. The servers are amazing and they always ask if I needed anything else. They have a full huge portions that will satisfy your hunger and taste. It has always been my tradition to order macaroni and cheese and LongHorn's Mac and cheese are to die for...literally. It's that good.

Yelp
We have been to many of these restaurants across the country... southern hospitality at it finest at this location! Our waiter was polite, prompt, and very attentive. Asked if he could clear some plates instead of just grabbing and going. He actually waited until we finished eating before asking if we wanted dessert. Once the entire table was clear he asked if we were ready for our check and if we wanted any drinks to go! Our steaks were cooked exactly as we asked and delicious. Loaded baked potato - picture perfect & just the way I like it. The rice wasn't as flavorful as my husband would have liked but still good. The Caesar salad was a bit heavy on the dressing. Would definitely come back to this location for sure!

Yelp
A pleasant surprise. Had never been to a Longhorn before. Both steaks were good and prepared as ordered. Very nice server and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Yelp
I love long horn and I was expecting to leave a great review but the food lacked so much even though the service was impeccable. We got those summer salads with fruit on them but we got a wilted salad and spoiled oranges one on. We also got a raw baked potato. We sent it back but the next one was raw too. We just stayed quiet since we don't like to complain. Here's what we got: 6oz Sirloin ($11.99) Get the sizzling steak sauce with it. It normally comes with the porterhouse for 2 but you can get it with any steak upon request for a few bucks extra. Of course with your steak you have to add a strawberry pecan salad ($1.59 extra)and their famous steakhouse Mac and cheese ($1.59 extra) These 2 are my favorite things on the menu hands down. We also got the spinach feta chicken ($13.49) The chicken was nice and moist and good, However we didn't find any feta on it. Where's the feta? We also got the half baby back ribs ($15.99) of coures they came falling off the bone. We also got the dessert sampler ($9.49). This way you get a little of 3 desserts.

Yelp
At this visit in Valdosta I got the meat head badge which means I frequent longhorns a lot. This visit was a let down also. I'll get straight to it. Ordered appetizer of stuff mushrooms, mention it to our server 3 times and never got them. Order chops for wife, porter house for me and renegade steak for son ( medium well ). Chop were crispy dry. Both steaks over cooked. Talked to manager and he reordered. We had to wait 30 more mins for steaks and chop 20 mins. Chops were better but still dry ish. Never got refills on drinks either until we left. Now back to the steaks , the second steaks came out and I'll just say this , these two 30 minutes wait time steak were Delicious . Our meal was ruined but this saved the day. The problem I'm having is why couldn't they do this on the first try ‍. The manager did give us a 50 percent discount but the issue is the experience. With dinning dollars in the air the customer expects better service. My experience at other Longhorns have been good and consistent for the most part. Will I go back to this location, maybe .

Yelp
Bottom line food was tasty but luke warm, service was great but kitchen was wrong. The restaurant was out of baked potatoes and our sides got all screwed up after that. My food came out a whole 15 min after my family's. It was my first time at a longhorn steak house and I can safely say probably my last.

Yelp
Streaks were perfectly cooked Service was excellent What you would expect from LongHorn Steakhouse. It was a nice lunch Food for the money was average. $56 for two streak dinners.

Yelp
Their food is amazing and great customer service. They did over cook my steak but quickly fixed it. I highly recommend this place

Yelp
I was in town for my husband's softball tournament and a few of us went for dinner. We had a few appetizers before our meal and one of them were the chicken wings which were cooked just the way I liked them! They were very tasty and crispy! They were so good that we went back the next day and had them for lunch!

Taliya G.

Yelp
They usually have really good service and steaks but after the disastrous Valentines Day I have to reconsider giving a 3 star rating. Valentine's Day was terrible. I came early knowing it was going to be busy. (Which was around 5:30). They said it was an hour wait and I was seated at 7:00 and I stayed seated at the table until 8:00 when the food came. The steak (I had a T-bone steak because they were out of the outlaw ribeye) was burnt crisp and was genuinely nasty. I waited for the remake til around 9:30. Pretty horrible service this day and I left longhorn without even eating my meal
google avatar

Susie D.

Yelp
Valentine's Day is supposed to be a very romantic day of the year so we decided to go to Longhorns. We had to wait 45 minutes to an hour before we got a seat.we were seated at the bar close to the emergency door and facing the front door so it was cold. we got our drinks fairly quickly we ordered our meal. When they brought my husband's meal the steak was not cooked correctly got a sent back, when they brought my salad which was a 7pepper steak salad I had Romain lettuce which I told him I didn't want I wanted the spring lettuce and the meat was medium rare when I said medium well. So they took my salad meal back they brought my husband steak back but instead of steak and potato it was now steak and broccoli so they let us keep the broccoli and went to go get his potato in the meantime I'm still waiting for my salad which is again the seven pepper sirloin steak salad which shouldn't take that long but it did and after about 30-35, I finally got my salad put in a to go container because I was ready to leave we have already been sitting in the restaurant almost an hour and a half we ordered a to go meal before we even ordered our meal so that way you could be ready by the time we had to leave now mind you it's already been an hour and a half and they still hadn't even worked on the to go meal when we brought it to the managers attention and the hostess attention she comes back and tells me they're working on it it's been on there for 20 minutes she comes back and gives us a gift card to make up for us waiting and "having you to deal with all this nonsense and how busy we are on Valentine's Day, and try to please understand ".. so at this point my husbands upset, I'm upset we've already paid the ticket, which included the to go meal, and after another 15min, we said the hell with this! We left. Overall I can understand how busy it is in Longhorns or any restaurant on major holidays but there was absolutely no excuse for how this was going for us I mean even the drink I ordered was nasty as hell because they ran out of certain things and I was just taken aback that you know the server never brought it to our attention or the bartender never bothered to say hey you might want to ask her you know since we don't have certain things they want a different drink and everything so she went ahead and served me something that was lacking in the drink and I literally had to go up there and get orange juice and lemonade to try to make the drink taste a little better than the nastiness it was already tasting . Longhorns got paid for meal that we never got a gift card is not to me enough to make up for what we had to deal with and when we're looking at close to two hours sitting in a restaurant waiting for them to make a meal that we ordered before we even got our own meal there's no excuse for none of it ! so I think This more than just a gift card, they either offer an apology or someway make this up because they got away with basically getting paid for something that we didn't get.

Ms C.

Yelp
Horrible!!!! Idk what else to say oh wait I do ! First thing first the service was horrible upon walk in so we just sat at the bar . The bartender instantly got mad and ask "oh y'all just gone sit here?" Then it was like everyone was being seated at the bar and no other servers were present this was the worst steakhouse house EVER !!! -MIAMI FLORIDA REVIEW

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Not good with the sitting situation really ridiculous people with the same party amount as me they come in and get sat right away just so ridiculous last time they will have me coming in or they fix it or just lose clients.

Yelp
I went in earlier today for an after church meal... My waiters name was David he was very nice until he chose to show his true colors.. After I had eaten I asked for dessert and at that time a couple had just been seated in a booth behind me. I ordered the Molten Lava dessert and there was a server who brought it out the back. She was confused as to which table she should take it to. So I never said anything just to see what would happen. She yelled to the back to confirm if she was going to the right table. I heard David's voice guide her to the table of the couple which had just been seated. They didn't even have drinks yet. Then as he was bringing their drinks out he walked past my table and said she gave my dessert to them on accident. "REALLY". All I can say is thank God for Jesus. This was very obvious and yet I still tipped the young man well and didn't make a fuss. Respect is due to an animal which is less human than you or I, but I have to acknowledge the fact that the south still lives. I want you all to be aware of his behavior and that sometime people camouflage their intentions with a smile and an apology. I am very disappointed in this behavior and am a frequent patron of this establishment but I have spent my last dime in this location. Be aware "

Michael R.

Yelp
My wife and I went out for our anniversary on Sunday evening around seven. When we entered the restaurant there was no hostess or greeter, after about five minutes a young hostess appeared and after another five minutes we were seated outdoors, as we had requested. We made our way to the veranda and we're greeted by other diners who offered to share their antiseptic wipes as they explained that the staff didn't even bother to clean the tables. After a short wait a server appeared and took our beverage order. Fifteen minutes later our drinks were delivered and our dinner order was placed, two steaks and baked potatoes, side salads with an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. The salads were delivered and then after a bit someone appeared with our steaks and said that they were out of potatoes. We were prompted to request another "side". Twenty minutes later after another inquiry the Sides appeared. Meanwhile the steaks were over cooked and seemed to have been cooked on a dirty grill as they were coated with burnt carbon debris . Still no appetizers. No offer of dessert was made and it took over thirty five minutes to get the check.... The server was pleasant but obviously overwhelmed and lacking management support. She volunteered that she had three tables inside as well as two tables outside. During our visit we witnessed other diners complain about the food preparation and slow service..,,#WTF Valdosta

Yelp
Ask for Amarei. Easy and enjoyable pit stop from Florida to Georgia. The host was a sweetheart which set the tone for the experience first then we were greeted by Amarei. Amarei was energetic and an absolute sweetheart. We enjoyed our experience with her and will definitely come back specifically to dine with Amarei. My boyfriend and I are passing through on our way back to Atlanta from Florida. The food was delicious but the service topped it for us!

Yelp
This place is a mess!!! As a server/bartender for 12 years in Miami and ft lauderdale I am just shocked at how bad everything is here! Total team effort from this longhorn crew! Too much to spend anymore time on, I've been irate the entire meal, it's like our server has no concept of table management or anything else..

Yelp
Despite a recent less that great review, (a 'B', from the Department of Health on mandatory display by the reception desk), the restaurant wasn't too bad. It's a typical western chain steakhouse, complete with the nasal country music soundtrack. The service was good. Unfortunately for me they don't stock non-alcoholic beer. But, overall, the experience made for a pleasant repast during a 17 hour road trip. I started with potato and bacon soup. It was nice. The bread was excellent and my wife had a lettuce wedge. Nice also, but she pointed out that size-wise, it was a lot less than a wedge. We both had a sirloin. They were nicely cooked and tasty. The broccoli was fabulous, the fries were nice and the deep fried onion wasn't a patch on Outback's Bloomin' Onion. Otherwise, the food was very good...and there was plenty of it. The restrooms were quite clean and I would return unless there was an Outback in the same block...But it is important for me to disclose here that I'm an Aussie, so there is a degree of bias. Longhorne in this location would be a solid four stars but for a lingering concern about the poor health report. It must be said however, that a less than stellar health report is not unusual, on occasion, for even better restaurants.

There wasn't a long wait, the waiter extremely nice and the food was good. My boyfriend had the steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus with the pinto nior. I had the fried shrimp, sweet potato, and Mac & cheese with the moscato. Both were very delicious.

Yelp
This is the first time I have had any complaint with my favorite restaurant Long Horn, in Valdosta Ga, the food was horrible, and was cold and it took nearly 45 minutes to arrive at our table. My Disappointment was/is too great to measure. I am not sure if I will ever go back. Question !! how can you serve cold roasted Brussels sprouts and cold short back ribs.

Yelp
Im not a chain guy, but wanted something healthy and it looked like choices were limited in the area and I am passing through quickly. Don't be in a hurry to eat, but the food was good. Had the grilled chicken and strawberry salad. Little heavy on the dressing, but taste was great! And a FREE sample shot of Makers 46!!! Could not go wrong with that. Bartender was very nice.

Yelp
We went to eat at the LongHorns in Valdosta, Ga, yesterday. The food is always very good. But yesterday my husband and I were very offended as one of the staff was wearing a mask with BLM on the front in big letters! We just don't think that's appropriate to wear there. It was almost like she was daring us to say anything by the look in her eyes. We won't go back for a long time. Thanks for listening!

Yelp
If I could give zero stars to this dump, I would. We're trying to stick to low carb and steak houses are good for that. As this one was the only one we could find open, we broke our usual rule of avoiding chains because we were hungry and it was available. We were greeted by the hostesses immediately and seated. 5 stars for the hostesses. We immediately noticed that the restaurant had a bad odor, almost like a body odor. We should have left then, but, again, we were hungry. After several minutes, our server greeted us with a smile and took our orders. 5 stars for her efforts. It took a long time for our food to arrive, but it was lunch time and they were busy, so no big deal there. Our food eventually came, and it looked really delicious and we were ready to dig in...until A BUG crawled around my baked potato and across my plate!! Like, an earwig pincher bug about an inch long. I have worked in restaurants and know that they all have bugs and I've even seen them inside restaurants and have not been fazed by them. But NEVER have I had one ON MY PLATE straight from the kitchen. We flagged down the closest server and showed her. She, of course, was horrified, as were we. We both lost our appetite and left. So much for lunch.

Yelp
I frequent this establishment for their steaks and grilled chicken. Hands down the best steak in town, and the grilled chicken is fantastic! Quality of food is important but service is equally important in my opinion. Only twice in my life have I ever not tipped a waitstaff. Once was here.. the other at crystal river seafood. I have served for many years and bartended a few of those. I do have a high standard set for how I feel I should be treated at a restaurant when I am the one dining in. I do my best to treat my customers the way I would want to be treated when I dine out. Unfortunately one of the waitresses at Longhorn fell well below that standard. However I am not on here to share that experience but the one I had tonight. I called earlier today and made a reservation with a special request. I was having a surprise birthday dinner for my significant other and didn't want him to know that it was not going to be just him and I but a few of his friends also. Brett was extremely helpful and was all for helping me make the night special. When we arrived later that night a new manager was on duty (Tony) and he was just as helpful and nice. The night was a success thanks to the managers and our server! (If she sees this I am so sorry I never catch your name, but I look for you every time we come in.) btw our first date was at longhorn and I do believe that she was our server.

Yelp
Told us 40-50 minute wait time. Over an hour later checked in with them to be told another 30 minutes. After nearly two hours of waiting they told us they could split our party into two to get us in; then a few minutes later as our party came into the restaurant they told us even if they split us it would be another 30 minute wait. Left. Terrible experience.

Yelp
Fantastic prime rib that was cooked to perfection! Attention meat lovers & seafood lovers, this is the place to go if you are craving a phenomenal dinner and bring your appetite with you! Exceptionally talented chefs prepare your meal exactly how you like it! The focus on the side dishes of vegetables, etc are as equally catered to your liking presenting a sumptuous work of art for your gastronomic tastebuds. Enjoy. I did. And I will again... PS. A full bar is also available.

Yelp
What a Father's Day. We came here and the wait was short but sat down at 840 pm finally got the drink order waters at 900. Then ordered the longhorn but guess what don't have that cut don't have prime rib no corn and several other items. Will never come here again hello Texas Roadhouse. Oh, and my steak ended up coming out raw. Talked to the manager, didn't have much to offer other than not paying for anything.
