"Comfortably installed in what used to be the fine dining restaurant, L'Orangerie is a real treat, indulging diners with an array of options. The most emblematic dishes and recipes of the father of nouvelle cuisine, the late Michel Guérard, are present and correct. Alternatively, you can get your teeth into fine cuts of meat from the Landesdépartement(Blonde d'Aquitaine and Bazadaise beef, local poultry etc) cooked over an open fire. Finally, there are starters that combine classics and brasserie dishes (house-smoked salmon, horseradish cream and toast; avocado "cocktail" and large Palamós prawns). An establishment that combines nostalgia and a sense of wellbeing, as epitomised by the pigeon pie with foie gras and sour cherries (served here since 1983) or the appetising dessert trolley." - Michelin Inspector

The most beautiful setting, lovely terrace amongst flowers and shade in a beautiful park. Only tried coffee and croissant here but both were fresh and good. Service was friendly and efficient. They also have a bar and do food (burrata, salads etc) but I didn't try it. The music playlist here is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We had a nice rest break at the L'Orangerie within the Public Garden of Bordeaux recently after a walk through the park, enjoying glasses of wine. Service was friendly and as timely. Prices reasonable, wine served was decent. Very much enjoyed the garden environs. It was a simple stop at a park cafe and expectations were met.

We just stopped by and loved the café. Very friendly service and great coffee. Dogs inside allowed. We will come back.

Dreadfully slow service, tourists are ignored while locals are served immediately. We waited 40 minutes for a drink and eventually wrong drinks arrived. Food was good. Beautiful location. Dine with caution unless you enjoy being ignored and slow service.

Great Venue with a good outdoor space. Service was great. Didn't eat so not sure about the food. Really relaxed and never felt rushed to leave. Simply enjoyed the Sun with great company and weather.

We were refused with our Child to eat a Crêpe with Sugar in the sun. This is was only allowed in the shadow. The attidude of the waiter was clear: we do not want Families with small Kids. Very unpleasant!

I don’t mind the slow pace of a cafe; but being purposefully ignored while 6-7 others tables are taken care of. Most of which came in after we asked twice to order again. we then finally tried to ask a different wait staff she was told not to wait on us. So we sat for 30 minutes without drinks and being purposefully ignored-not a great business model
