La Table de La Bastide

The setting is truly special, worth the journey. The service was excellent and not too formal. The food was very enjoyable, and was a nice way to get introduced to Provencal food from a new perspective. The focus on fresh produce and with dishes seeming to have a rustic, regional inspiration was a nice departure from our other meals on the trip. Who knew a dish of green beans could be so delicious. If I had one suggestion, it was that the lime Baba was too intense in acidity. Which was a shame as the cake and cream were delicious but getting overpowered. I wanted to eat it all but couldn't, and I usually love sour flavours. Perhaps allowing diners to control the amount of the strong lime syrup would be a good compromise? Still a truly memorable experience

such a great experience, the food, the service, the ambiance couldnt have been better. the waiters were very friendly yet very professional. the food was perfect. ive been to the hotel 7 years ago its even better than I remember, will definetly be back. the complementary bread and asparagus were great. they prepare the beef tartare and mille feuille next to the table which adds a little "show" to the experience and to tailor the taste to what you prefer. 100% feel they match the expectation for the price you pay for.

Disappointing Experience — Not Worth the Hype or the Price I had very high expectations for La Table de la Bastide, especially given the positive reviews and the €200 bill for two. Unfortunately, this was the worst meal I had during my three-week trip through Europe. The first course, a caviar and lemon pasta, was overwhelmingly acidic and completely unbalanced. But the true disappointment came with the main courses. The sea bass was utterly bland, lacking any seasoning or depth of flavor. The lamb was even worse — overly salty, with a mushy texture that reminded me of a fast food cheeseburger patty. Visually and texturally, it was unappetizing. My wife and I could barely manage a single bite of each dish. At this price point, the quality and execution were shockingly poor. The only redeeming aspect was the view — which, while beautiful, did not come close to compensating for the subpar dining experience. Save your money and enjoy the scenery elsewhere.

Stunning place to eat, beautiful atmosphere. Food was delicious. The menu was really appreciated and the staff is very kind.

My wife and stayed in Gordes for the week and ending up eating here three times. It was our favorite restaurant of the whole trip! The service was outstanding and everyone was so kind and accommodating. As for the food, having gone three times we were able to try almost everything on the menu. Each dish was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully presented! They also had a great wine selection. If you go anytime soon and they have the sea bass, lamb or Dover sole on the menu, I highly recommend!

It was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The hosts were very welcoming and genuinely kind (not just polite for the sake of it). The food tasted so good, like a home-cooked New Year’s meal! The ambiance was beautiful, with lovely decor and an amazing view. Overall, it's a 5 out of 5 for me.

The most beautiful restaurant with awesome views of the countryside. The waiters were so attentive and knowledgeable of food and wines! The food was exquisite, with good size portions and well worth the price! A once in a lifetime experience and well with the trip to Gordes Tre Bien 🇫🇷

They reserved the best table for solo traveler like me. Professional staff served me attentively. Chefs are wizard who magic local ingredients into fantastic cuisine.
