"Lord Hobo’s Woburn taproom considers itself a “family-friendly community establishment” — kids are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times and must be prevented from running, climbing on furniture, and blocking walkways. The food menu includes pizzas, sandwiches, poutine, and more. Reservations encouraged but not required, and dogs are not allowed at this time. Lord Hobo is currently offering indoor and outdoor seating, as well as takeout (food, beer, and merch)." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

"Speaking of doughnuts, north shore icon Kane’s Donuts recently teamed up with Woburn-based Lord Hobo Brewing Company on a particularly tempting confection. Made with Kane’s sticky bun glaze and a reduction made from Lord Hobo’s Godmother Imperial Stout, the Godmother Donut is on offer through the end of January 2021. It joins a short but growing list of collaborations between local breweries and doughnut shops. (Who could forget the Harpoon/Dunkin’ jelly doughnut IPA?)" - Terrence Doyle

Thank you Lord Hobo Brewing Woburn for the magical memories you facilitated for Cynthia Leaton & Yohan Rosario this past weekend in October. It was stunningly beautiful & the crew, especially Grace Kelly, were amazing, courteous and hit a home run!!! What a fantastic and rustic local wedding scene.

10! Great beer! Great burgers and the atmosphere and bartenders were friendly and helpful! The beer is absolutely delicious and for beer drinkers that means a lot. The stout was like a dessert! Can’t wait to go back next year- I live in California and will be on business there in 2024!

Brussels sprouts ❤️ French fries 😋 food portions are big and food is good. Beer worth trying, many European choices

Google
5 Stars for the name, logo, and artwork alone. Lol. Stopped in by chance while traveling and so glad we did... The space is massive. 2 sides in an L shape with plenty of tables and bar space. Smaller but functional outdoor patio. They tap a large selection of beers, that kinda run the gamut on style and flavor profiles. I did a flight and everything tasted spot on. Highly recommended.

Google
Huge space - inside and on the patio. Great beers and pizza. A big variety of year-round beers and also quite a few limited-release options.

Great environment. What Stopped by here on the way to Manchester. Got here at around 12 when it was opened. I like the options they have for vegan. I was able to veganize half of a pizza to share. I did the veggies pizza veganized. I’m not a pizza person but I was able to enjoy this pizza. The crust was thin and crispy. Also got the Brussels sprouts veganized, it was a little too sweet for me. The fries were good. I enjoyed a beer as well, there was a big selection. Environment I like the big space of this place. There are plenty of seats available. The bar seating has bag hooks and also charging outlets. Niceness of the staff The servers were all very friendly. They keep checking up on me to make sure there was nothing else I needed. Overall I had a good time. Dollar It was reasonable for the food I got. Yes? I would stop by here again.

Google
Have long history with this place, as I often visited before they could even sell their beer - they didn’t have a license at first so had to give samples away to build a following. So that was good. But then recently went to their sister site in Cambridge where they charged me $11 for each beer (plus tips), probably to make up for all my free tastings. Still not worth it, though. Today I stopped by the actual brewery in Woburn, and while pleased to see they finally added food other than pizza to their menu (which at $23 for a small, I wasn’t going to buy), I was not at all thrilled with other options. Tried the wings, which definitely needed extra sauce to taste good, but I really resented having to pay 50 cents for slightly more than a full teaspoon of pretty boring sauces. I won’t order food here again. Ever. The beer, though, at least the Galactic Vagabond, was exceptional. Most of my circle of friends have grown way past their Boom Sauce, which used to be our staple, but their newish ones have never urged me to order a second. I did this one. One final note to describe something that has bothered me from the very beginning of this place - even when the beer was free - is the crowd in attendance has never been my crowd. So many other breweries have a very diverse clientele - but not Lord Hobo in Woburn . They have never had variety. Hard to say why, although as soon as you walk in you would understand, but I’ve been here maybe 50+ times, and I have NEVER felt at home and comfortable in this place. Nonetheless, I like their new more open to the outdoor space and may try them once again when the weather is more conducive to outdoor seating.

Google
Very surprised by the size and caliber of this brewery. It's huge and looks great inside. I thought LH just made a few beers, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a long list of other beers to choose from. You can get a flight of 6 for $22 which is reasonable and there was plenty of choices. Definitely worth the trip if you haven't been there.

Yelp
I'm glad they hosted a race here, otherwise I may not have found myself here. I really loved how cleaned everything looked inside the brewery (bathrooms, bar room, etc.). So lots of points to that. They also have very good designs for their cans like the Mekong Mist and 6.17 NEIPA. I wished they had a red and dark blue color long sleeve, similar to the 6.17. First visit: tried the 6.17, which was hoppy and NEIPA Second visit: surprise me, got the Echoes, which turned out to be another NEIPA, but slightly higher ABV. I hope to find my drink here eventually, maybe I'll try food here next time as well. There was a food truck during the race.

Yelp
I am always looking for a local , close by brewery when I'm in a different city! I'm a big IPA fan so this place was it! HUGE space indoors and they also have an outdoor patio. They also served food which was a plus! My bartender gave me a little souvenir of a shot glass that I absolutely love & will remember! Definitely recommend & will come back again when I'm around the neighborhood!

Yelp
Lord Hobo is a really fun brewery with a great variety of drinks. It was the perfect spot to gather with colleagues after work, and we all had a blast. The space is large, so it easily accommodated our group, and it seemed like everyone else was having a great time too. We ordered truffle fries and a sausage pizza, which were decent and good enough for a drinking night, but the real standout here is the atmosphere and vibe. It's a great place for a casual gathering

Madison N.

Yelp
I love Lord Hobo in Woburn! From the start, might be weird but they have a great parking lot. Never a stress, you will find parking in the lot of on the street! Inside it's super lively and a cute brewery. Two bars, three different seating sections and different vibes. A more dark and cozy section, a more light section near the pizza and an outdoor patio. For drinks, they rotate drinks and you will find something on the menu. I love ciders and sours and I always can find something to enjoy. I love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders or sometimes I sit outside and read. Great place and great people.... AND great beer.

LaShawnda B.

Yelp
I used to love this place. It's a great local brewery with awesome staff. They have mice.

Barry L.

Yelp
When at a brewery- you drink beer So that's what we did- my guest and I had a few different beers including: 617 IPA, Galatic Vagabond, Boomsauce, Banger #8, Bodacious Vagabond- For an appetizer we ordered the bone in wings with sweet chili glaze and side of ranch an extra .50 ? Not sure at $12.00 you would think you would receive either blue cheese or ranch ‍ My guest ordered the Hobo burger which he said was great I opted for the chicken pesto pizza -an excellent choice - Pulled rotisserie chicken, sliced tomatoes, aged provolone, nut-free pesto If you are reading this you like beer So go ahead and get yourself inside and enjoy a draft or few and a bite to eat You won't be disappointed I'll be back

Yelp
Finally I got a Lord Hobo beer experience and as I often am I am very grateful that the opportunity arose for to happen! Steve and I had two beers from Lord Hobo. We had their Pickle Beer. I haven't had a pickle beer in a long time and so it sounded good to take a crack at. The pickle flavor I thought wasn't super strong in the flavor and almost saw it as more of an accompanied flavor but that was OK. I had pretty strong flavored pickle beers in the past... not that I am complaining about either. Flavor features to find with this beer is of course dill, a briney flavor, citrus and some sourness. It's a light beer which I typically enjoy those. The other beer was a stout, J.P. Licks Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Stout was the exact name. I do have to say I have had a voracious appetite for dark beers in the winter of 2024 and I am glad I snatched up this fine stout. Flavors to look for is chocolate, mint along with a smooth body. This stout is a little bit lighter than some which wasn't a problem for me. I was just in dark beer mode and how heavy the beer was wasn't a huge factor for me. Again, super glad I finally got to try Lord Hobo and we both really liked the beers we had!

Curt H.

Yelp
Nice layout Plenty of parking Great selection of their own beer Great pizza and super service

Rich Y.

Yelp
Great brewery to visit. There selection of beers covers a wide range and includes a great number of varieties. I would say they offer more variety than most breweries I have visited. There food selection is solid. Good appetizers, tasty pizza and a good list of sandwiches. When I went, they had a large crowd but service was easy and fast. This place is a distance for me. I was on the North Shore for the day. I have tried there beer many times in different places around my area. I am so glad I convinced my crew to swing by and check this place out!

J J.

Yelp
Just over advertised. Brought my friend in for the first time and the bartender seemed to be in a bad mood. We tested a couple of beers. Picked one and he said debit or credit?...Gave him our debit card and he never came back with it....(???))) Hello!!! Where is our debit card? "oh we do this with all our customers. We hide in in the shelf until they check out and then we check them out" (ok) We asked why??? "because everyone sneaks out of my bar without paying""....ok...We drank the beers which were less than ok fast as possible, checked out and got out debit card from these people and left Rubber!!!.. ...Oh Lord...so you as a customer aren't trusted as soon as you walk in and they take your credit or debit card from you which I believe is not legal and don't give it back to you unless you tell them your leaving!!!! What??

Melissa M.

Yelp
Very large space but oh my goodness why do breweries insist on chairs without backs! So uncomfortable and definitely keeps me from wanting to stay: maybe their point. They have some great beers on tap. Large variety. We really enjoyed the pickle beer, Woloho, and bodacious vagabond.

Chad J.

Yelp
Was busy and popping on a Friday night. Lots of big tables, big place with plenty of seats. Tried several beers which were great plus they had a live band.

Yelp
We ordered through the QR code on our table and the order never went through. Why the 5 stars? The staff was great in fixing the problem. Technology is not always perfect but it's how we deal with those snafu's and the team at Lord Hobo put the customer first.

Greg S.

Yelp
This is hard for me. Nothing really wrong with the place but a lot for me personally not to like about the place. Headed there on a recommendation. Easy to find, easy to park, no wait on Saturday night at 7 ish. All good things By biggest beef is it's self service Walk in seat yourself Open up the menu on you phone and order your food Have to stand in line at the bar for a beer You need to get your own plasticware, condiments and room temperature water Yes they bring your food and eventually grab your plate, but there is almost zero interactions Next is the price $8.50 before tip for a pint? $22 for a 18 oz flight? Granted they have a $4 canned beer option, so not everything is warped You tip before when you order. Is 20% fair when I do half the work? Food is reasonably priced post Covid Wing we're under cooked in my wife's opinion and she mentioned a well done option in the ordering app......that a 1st for me Overall not what I expected and hard pressed to return.

Yelp
Excellent beer choices and flights of 6!! Fun atmosphere and good food. Pizza is great!

Hilary M.

Yelp
We went to a private event at Lord Hobo and it was really good. The beer (we had the house Lager) was tasty. They did a wonderful job catering the event with food and kept everything clean and hot. It's a really big place and they have outdoor areas too. Enjoy it.

Jessica W.

Yelp
I stopped by with two friends on a Sunday afternoon. We sat in the outdoor patio area and ordered the Poutine fries and the margarita pizza along with some beers and one of the hard cidars on tap. The drinks were great, but the food wasn't as great. The fries were a disappointment and slightly cold. The pizza was just alright. I might would give this place a second try based on the atmophere and the drinks.

Meg C.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night around 6 and it was packed! It was still easy to grab a seat and the wait to get a beer from the bar was short. Beer & Food - I tried a strawberry lager and a hazy IPA, both were very good. The strawberry lager wasn't too sweet and had pleasant sour notes. We ordered brussel sprouts, wings and truffle fries, all of it was good but the brussel sprouts were like candy, roasted in a bacon vinaigrette that had honey or something sweet and they were addicting! We originally tried ordering from their QR code system but it didn't work, maybe it was overwhelmed with orders, so we ordered from the bar, no biggie. My only real complaint is that it was very loud, as the space is basically one giant L shaped room with glass garage doors and no sound dampening. I had to yell across the table to talk to my friend. This probably won't be as much of an issue once the weather is nicer and they can open the garage doors, so I'll be back soon.

Michelle S.

Yelp
This is a great gem outside the city. With COVID we're always trying to find things to do and this makes for a great day or evening activity. I have been twice now in the last month. I like the beers there however they might have a slightly more limited menu due to COVID. If you went before this whole thing you might be used to the beer flights but now there is 1 curated flight or you can order a 2oz beer (max 2). For wise it's bar food but it's all pretty good. Honestly I think the only item I could take or leave was the Buffalo chicken pizza. It wasn't amazing but everything else has been really good! We ordered the pretzels, sweet chili wings extra crispy, truffle parm fries and the roast beef sliders. Hint: bring games for extra entertainment!

Tina D.

Yelp
We tried their beer at Ales and Tales at the Stone Zoo so decide to give the restaurant a try. Everything is self serve: seat yourself, order food through a QR code( they do bring it the table for you), go the bar for your drinks, get your own water, plates, utensils, condiments, napkins, take out containers. Everything is disposable, except the beer glasses. Ironically, they use paper napkins made from 100% composted materials but use disposable plastic utensils, water cups, and condiment containers. The food was fine but nothing special. I'm not likely to go back on my own, but if friends wanted to meet there I wouldn't say no.

Patrick A.

Yelp
Don't come after 9:30 even though they're open until 10:00. Last call is apparently a half hour before closing. Now I understand their reputation as THE joke of craft beer in the northeast. BOOMSAUCE!!!

Chris T.

Yelp
No clue about the beer or place but just wanted to let people know dogs are not allowed here. Just good info to have

Taylor H.

Yelp
Lord Hobo is the lord of brewery's. We first had their beer at a beer festival and we were hooked. We typically get the sampler pack when at the liquor store but it was a real treat to get to visit this place in person. They have an amazing section of seasonal brews as well as some cool signage that illustrates what seasonal selections come when. Their swag at the store was very hard to pass up. Now the best part, the food! I had a crispy chicken sandwich while my boyfriend got a burger. All great food to be paired with beer.

Ken W.

Yelp
Third time now that my wife ordered a plain burger medium rare, and the third time they messed it up . This time after they brought the replacement burger, it was a hockey puck . Two bites and left it . No questions from the staff about why hardly anything was eaten. I don't like making a big deal about it , as I don't want them to think I'm a scammer that wants a free meal....but I can't go here anymore

S O.

Yelp
Don't go for the food (terrible) and certainly not for the service. After waiting for what seemed like forever, we had to clean our own table with paper towels and hand sanitizer. And was ignored at the bar for over 10 minutes by 2 different bar tenders. Come to think of it, don't for for the beer selection either, unless you love IPAs. The wooden beams are nice. They probably would have tasted better than the chicken fingers.

Jerry C.

Yelp
Friday night visit- the place was packed and could not have been any louder. It's a contemporary brewpub with all of the usual design attributes- high ceilings, lots of high table seating with long tables, order food at the bar and food at the kitchen window. Really nice looking inside. Liked: Great selection of beers and the two IPAs (Glorious and 617) I tried were better than average. Food selection- a nice selection of apps,, bowls, pizza and snacks Didn't Like: Noise. Impossible to converse without shouting. Maybe that's why it was so noisy. Value: This place is pricey. A light as air cheese pizza was $20 But they must be doing something right judging by the crowds. Will try it again some time.

Laz M.

Yelp
We had beer and chicken fingers on the patio. Excellent beer, good food + overall a good time! So many dogs out there hanging with their humans, woof!

Tess H.

Yelp
Had a great experience until the last 15 mins before leaving. One of the waitstaff felt the need to make an aggressive remark to myself and my one year old. It was rude and uncalled for, totally inappropriate and disappointing. Needless to say, it's not a place I'll be returning with my friends, nor will I recommend to others. If y'all have such a probably with people bringing kids to your brewery/"restaurant ", maybe don't offer a kids menu and high chairs?

Sravani D.

Yelp
This is a hidden cool hangout place for beer lovers in Woburn. Surprising how I never knew this one existed all these years!!! They recently opened up a restaurant section. The place overall has got a very cool vibe. My first thoughts.... This place is not for the lazy folks. Its self service, which means you need to be in line for your beer and then in a separate line for the food! Coming to their beer,I happened to order cider beer and I thought the angry orchard is better and more flavorful. My husband had a flight and mentioned he thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Don't get your hopes high on the restaurant part as they have a very limited menu.

Russell W.

Yelp
This place was just redone recently, and it is beautiful...but you'll see that in the newer pictures. Here are the notes from my recent visit. Beer - Some great beers here, including numerous special releases or variations that aren't available in stores. The non-stout selection is pretty IPA heavy, and generally all high on the ABV scale (As a result, many were sweet). A lot of them tasted a bit too much alike, but I suppose that isn't necessarily a bad thing when they're good, and I also didnt try anywhere near everything. Venue /Feel - The venue us huge, and parking is a little tight, but we still found a spot relatively easily considering how packed it was. They have a ton of seating, food available regularly (pizza and wings as examples, but there's more. Note: the parmesan truffle wings were delicious!), a gift shop, and the bathrooms are nice as well. The bar kept up well with the massive number of people. My only dislike would be two things that they can't really do that much about...it was very loud, and the size of the place certainly doesn't give you a support local, small business feel. Who can go? All ages! They're very kid friendly...there was a LOT of kids. They are apparently dog friendly, but I would leave your dog home at busy times. It was PACKED when we were there, so the opportunity for a stepped on tail seems quite high.

Alan N.

Yelp
This is an excellent place to hang out on the weekend. Not only do they have good beers, they have pizza and boardgames. Both my friend and I got a flight of beer to try and sample. We played scramble, trouble, battleship and many more. It's a great and beautiful space for catching up with friends or just hanging out. I was a big fan of their sours. Delicious.

Brian O.

Yelp
An awesome local brewery!! Great staff, great beer and great food. Always enjoy a visit to Lord Hobo.

Sean B.

Yelp
Just got the big Mac pizza. I gotta tell you It was garbage. Worst pizza I've ever had by far ,it used to be really good. It was dry nothing on it terrible. $23 - I will never go back to this place again. Leonardo's in Woburn is so much better.Friday night place was empty -Go figure .

Melissa J.

Yelp
I had heard good things about Lord Hobo. I am not a big beer drinker but was open to trying something new. It was a Tuesday night around 8pm and we had a large party, 6 adults/ 6 kids. They accommodated us at a long skinny table. Our server seemed nice, did a great job, and the food was ok. Overall, I enjoyed my beer choice as well. At the end of our dinner we had to go looking for our server to bring us the check. He came to the table with a tablet and rattled off an astronomical bill amount. It was uncomfortable and awkward because he just stood there with his tablet and asked how we would like to pay. We eat out a lot and never have I felt weird when a bill was brought to the table but the server standing there with his tablet was uncomfortable. It was very unprofessional to give us a total without actually giving us a bill. We asked if this total included gratuity and he said "No!" Although there were 12 of us, we know we can often have an expensive bill but for what we ordered, we were all a little baffled. We finally asked for a print out itemized bill and after looking it over we noticed that there were 3 expensive beverages on our tab that were never ordered by us and once we asked for the paper receipt and he returned with it the server said "oh yeah, the tip is already included!" With the tip already included, this explained more to us why the bill was so high! It was a little sketchy as he didn't appear to be "new to the job" or a rookie in the least. He adjusted our bill and took off the items that were not ours. As our group was talking and preparing to pay the bill, one of our group members said this happened to him not too long ago when he was there with friends. Extra items were added to the bill and they were never given a paper itemized bill until they asked. This friend did speak up and said something to our server. He told him he did a great job but also explained that this happened to him once before and now he has an uneasy feeling that this happens often when patrons are not paying attention and just offer up their credit card. Hopefully, this hasn't happened to others but note to self... always ask for an itemized bill. It's unfortunate that we just can't 'trust' but had we not questioned the gratuity being included and asked for an itemized bill, we would have overpaid beyond what we should have. I just wanted to mention this because it was a fun place but no one wants to be bamboozled and if you want a good reputation then keep honest with your patrons. I would be willing to give it another shot but I will be very mindful when we settle up at the end of the night.

Yelp
What a disappointment. They really lost that chill vibe that made them special. After a long day of working with my dog I searched for a dog friendly restaurant near me and they were at the top of the search engine list. I was super psyched as I was in Woburn, familiar with their beers and excited to take a break, offer my pup some water and leg stretching and relax with a beer. NOPE! I was met by the most unfriendly hostest imaginable. Apparently a bunch of facial rings makes you too cool to be affable. Turns out they don't allow dogs on their patio because they serve a full menu now? Huh? Other restaurants allow for dogs on the patio, but whatever fine. I'm reasonable, I know Covid protocols are making people tense. So I asked if I could sit in the far back of the patio, PLENTY OF OPEN SEATS, without my dog so I could be near my car and provide water to him and monitor the open windows. NOPE! I was coldly told there were no available tables out there, and I could be put on the waitlist. SO at this point you'd think I'd be done. I near was but I had to use the bathroom so I asked if I could at least do that. NOPE! Customers only. I will not be returning to Lord Hobo ever again, I will not be buying their products, and I will not support their product in anyway. Treat your customers better, hire a new hostess, and remove that you're a dog friendly establishment. Allowing dogs under tents in your back parking lot when you want to does not make you dog friendly. Huge disappointment. Thank goodness there are a million other brew pubs with better beer and nicer staff. FYI it's not November lose the mustaches guys.

Yelp
The beer is good and that is why they are getting 2 stars. We looked on the website and the menu had a lot of food options. I also had to make a reservation which i am OK with doing. Problem is we got to Lord Hobo and the waitress told us there was no food options except for pizza. I mentioned the manager should update the website so we knew about this limitation. She gave me an attitude when I made the suggestion. As we sat there, we saw pretzels and salads come out. That is definitelymore than pizza and asked the waitress. She said yea we have those and did not offer an explanation. I get it, the restaurant is short staffed, but communication could still be updated. My wife also mentioned that all the employees looked angry. get a new job if you are not happy. Dont go here. You can go to plenty if good restaurants and get lord hobo beer with your meal.

kris s.

Yelp
Been going to LH fromtheir very start. Always a preferred option for my family when visiting from DC or when my wife and I are in the area.

Cathleen C.

Yelp
Lord hobooooooo. Dogs should be welcome on the outdoor patio. Picturing a big bowl of water and shady spots for pups to chill while we enjoy a Boom Sauce....would make it a happier place

Maestro L.

Yelp
Cheese burger pizza lacked flavor but cooked well. Customer service needs help. We asked to be seated inside they put us out side in that god awful concrete jungle they call a patio. The kicker is that the inside remained pretty much empty during our entire visit. The "seater" with a shaved side head didn't care a less. Won't be coming back here.

Jason P.

Yelp
Great night at Lord Hobo. Great place to hang out with a small group. Pours were great and the chocolate brownie was amazing. Highly recommend

Jeff M.

Yelp
Thank you LHBC, for moving to Woburn and helping to keep my property taxes low! If it wasn't for Yelp, I don't know how I would even find such a place as a local unless I was driving around some random streets looking for such a business. If you snake through a residential area into some random business parks, you'll eventually find it but good luck doing so without a GPS. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate about 20 cars but it has never been super packed when I have been here on the weekend. The location as others have mentioned, is an old marble factory that has been repurposed into a beer factory, much to the delight of many. You walk in and it is a very wide open space as a bank of taps greets you on the left with a giant Lord Hobo sign along the back wall. There are kegs to sit on and barrels to set your FREE SAMPLES down upon. I love that it is dog friendly, they even offer up toys for your dog and a water bowl, great little added bonus for someone who likes to take his dog wherever he can. They also have cool games like a giant jenga to play so you can spend time here sampling and doing other things. And of course you can buy 4-6 packs along with fill up your growler. They'd practically get a perfect review if they offered tours of the brewery also. You come to expect this in the age of local microbrews. Maybe there are laws against it that I don't understand but I am genuinely interested in learning about their brewing processes. Also, some articles have reported that they would be building a kitchen which hasn't happened yet. They do offer take-out menus on the wall so you can get some delivery to the tasting hall itself but it would be nice if they could offer up some amazing pairings with their craft selections.

Yelp
Loved this environment. Very industrial looking. They have an outdoor area too if you would rather sit out there. It's still open in the winter. Definitely make a reservation for the weekends. Food was amazing and beer was delicious. Prices were not bad at all! Definitely be back!

Yelp
Pictures and descriptions did not match my family's experience. Poor service and unfriendly attitude.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon with a buddy to grab a beer and some wings. It was 3:45 PM and there were only two other people sitting at the bar. We were told we couldn't be served until 4:00 PM. I asked why the two guys next to us were getting pints and tastes poured for them before 4:00? "Because they work here" I was told. So we sat there and watched these guys next to us guzzle beer until our timeout was over. Awkward way to treat new customers to the Lord Hobo Brand.

Yelp
Came here last night and was pleasantly surprised! While Lord Hobo's Cambridge location has more of a dive bar feel, this location is well lit and feels clean and polished with plenty of seating options. They also have an huge variety of beers to choose from. We ordered the peach gose and meat and potatoes (about $8 each). Both were great. The gose was everything I wanted in a sour - light, refreshing, and pleasantly tart. The meat and potatoes was strong and very hearty, as promised by it's name. I would definitely swing back by here if I was in the Woburn area again.

Yelp
Hobo's beer is great. No doubt. And their brewery in Woburn is worth the trip, overall. We recently visited on a warm night. They had the garage doors open, which really tie the outdoor space into their indoor seating area and bar. Big TVs were showing the game. And it wasn't super crowded. They have an interesting system for ordering. Beer is ordered from the bar and you can start a tab. If you want food, you have to scan a QR code from your table and order through your phone. You pay (including tip) at the time you order. I'm sure this system helps reduce the number of servers they need, but it does make it difficult to order apps / entrees / dessert in succession. We ordered everything at once, and dessert came out first... And the food was just ok. The pizza was kind of terrible. Super thin crust that was cooked too long, the sauce was off, and the "fresh" mozzarella was not so great. But we enjoyed the truffle fries and meatball sliders. The ricotta balls for dessert were pretty bland. They were like goo-balls with cinnamon and honey drizzled on top. When I come to visit again, it will be to focus on beer and some apps. (We saw the brussels sprouts and wings go by our table and they looked great!)

Yelp
BEER REVIEW It was a sunny Saturday in Boston when a friend brought up an interesting idea. What if a group of us got out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Boston, headed to a town outside the city, and explored the bars in that neighborhood? We could call it...Tiny Town Takeover, or T Cubed for short. Yes, my friends and I read an article in the Boston Globe questioning if Woburn was the next Brooklyn. The author said they weren't quite ready to esteem Woburn with that title yet but that it still had a few cool bars to check out so Woburn became our location for Tiny Town Takeover and Lord Hobo became our first stop! https://www.bostonglobe.com/lifestyle/travel/2018/04/18/how-woburn-got-its-groove-back/3Cve463Ax9ddW7X7hZQQGK/story.html We had all been to the Lord Hobo restaurant in Cambridge but were much more impressed with the Woburn location. It smacks of a classic brew hall with long wooden tables, tons of drink options, and food available to order. This place was busy on an early Saturday afternoon with folks ranging in age from just out of college to our parents' age (60s). We all ordered flights from the extensive flight menu (you choose by highlighting the beers you want). Costing only $16-$18 (depending on which beers you choose), you get to try 6 of their different beers which is a nice opportunity to see what you want a full pint of. And the flights themselves look pretty dang cool as well. Other little things I loved: they had sparkling water on tap and they are dog-friendly! This place also has board games for you to use and is kid-friendly. While this was our first stop on Tiny Town Takeover, we could have happily spent the whole day here. Good work Lord Hobo!

Yelp
Wide variety of tasty beers. Nice facility with large spacious bar/restaurant. Delicious pizza. Service was quick, no wait. However, no small talk from the staff. No one asked us how the beer and pizza was or if we needed anything.
