"Forget Texas, getaway to Miami on the Southside. The Lorenzo’s in-ground pool is massive, and they host sip and swim events on most weekends for which you can reserve cabanas. The Relativity Pool Bar serves up all the drinks you’d expect — margs, spritzes, the usual. Day passes start at $30 for adults — this is not a kid-friendly spot." - Courtney E. Smith

We stayed here during a getaway weekend in Dallas. This was a really nice hotel in a great location. It was a 5 minute drive to downtown, uptown, and Deep Ellum and a 15 minute drive to Arlington. The rooms were quirky and the bed very comfortable. The pool was great for relaxing by when you didn't want to be out. Despite the hotel being very busy, the rooms were quiet except for street noise, and housekeeping did an excellent job. While the bar was reasonably priced for the area, I didn't care for the drinks, and the breakfast taco stand was not worth the price. I would definitely stay again.

To be honest, this isn't my type of hotel. I love art, but this feels more like a place to host a weirdly interesting/cool/dark/art deco, mask on "find this painting,"and "find this crazy room" candles everywhere type of feel. Very different. Think Beetlejuice, maybe? I wish I'd gotten the ladies' name at the front desk who was very, very helpful to us. Thank you to her! The other gentleman, not so much. The room was clean and gave a great view of the parking lot (which was great because it's completely open and the part of town is not the best), as well as a nice view of Downtown. The pool area looked cool, although we dusky didn't take a dip this trip. The gym had everything you need, so no qualms there. Do know that once on your floor, your room can be directly in front of the elevators, which I don't believe I've come across before. That felt very odd walking to the door while others on the elevator looked directly at you. We did not try the restaurant nor room service only because of prior reservations elsewhere. Overall, for me, the hotel feels so closed. It isn't open like others I've experienced, and the area is definitely not walkable. As much as i love Tina Turner, art, and although we had no issues with the room, this hotel isn't in an area i would like to stay again on a visit.

Stayed here after a Ranger game because I wanted to be close to downtown Dallas. Parking was not free. I had to pay twenty-one dollars for the night. When I came in the front attendant was very nice and friendly. The incidental fee was seventy-seven dollars, which is fully refundable so long as you do not destroy your room. I dropped my stuff off and I noticed that it had a strong pungent smell of old inside of my room. Something I can only describe as the smell of "Goodwill". Not something I imagined for the price point of this hotel. I also could not find any lights on the ceiling. The only light source came from two small bedside lamps and one giant floor lamp which did not produce very much light. I used the restroom around 9pm and noticed that It would not flush. Water started overflowing so I made a call to the front desk who was very apologetic and sent someone up immediately to fix it.I left that night so did not have to interact with anyone, but when I came back it was fixed. I decided to check out the hotel pool on the first floor. At the time of arrival there was an attendant at the door who informed us that the DJ and bar outside would be ending soon but that the pool would remain open. That worker deserves a raise! She was absolutely welcoming and helpful with the amount of questions I had about the pool. The pool was very nice, and sadly I did not get to enjoy the DJ since I had arrived near the end of the set. I really did enjoy the location, because it was close enough to downtown that the Uber rides were not outrageous nor the time. That night I did notice that my room did not get very cold even though I did place the AC down to the lowest setting.I did not eat at the restaurant, but it seemed nice. The overall vibe of the hotel was cool. There is interesting artwork to look at everywhere, and mostly everything has an artist name beside it, and a little bit of history over the piece. The gym was more than adequate. Over all It was a decent hotel with a good location and friendly staff but I just don't agree with paying so much money (300 dollars a night) for such a subpar hotel with a almost unbearable room smell.

Slightly bonkers decor, but a great place to stay. Staff are lovely and friendly. Nice pool area although next to the highway so a little noisy but to be honest it wasn’t an issue for us.||Room is generous size and super comfy beds. Water pressure in shower could be better but again not a real issue. The quirky deco does add to the charm and you feel you are staying in a unique hotel.||We didn’t have a car so used Uber to go downtown and cost was about $10-15 each way and wait just a few minutes.||Would stay here again if we were to visit Dallas.

Stayed here during a conference and service was great. I dined at the on-site restaurant and highly recommend the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza. 😋 the art deco theme was really enjoyable as well as the pool cabanas. I would encourage that table canopies/shades be out during the daylight. I couldn't enjoy my time outside because Texas heat was 103 and humid with no shade protection. Also, although the room had a fridge there are no microwaves on property. I found that rather 😞 disappointing

I checked in on line and told them I would be there by 4:00 pm. We arrived at 4:20 pm and our room was not ready. When we got in our room it was hot! You would think they could have turned the air on since they knew we were coming. The hotel is pretty dated. They charge you for EVERYTHING. It was $20 a night to park. After spending over $1200 for three nights, paying for parking is a bit ridiculous. The rules for the pool were posted and then they told us no inflatables. This was not on the website or on the rules posted at the pool. Wasted $50 buying inflatables. The bar was open at the pool only on Saturday. Drinks were $16 each. The “live DJ” was a joke! She spent most of her time hanging out at the bar. She complained constantly about the WiFi. The refrigerator in the room did not work. The air conditioner did not keep the room cool. There was only one handicap spot and it was blocked off with a pylon. My husband is handicapped and needs a handicap spot. The shower has no water pressure. The beds slide around on the base. The toilet paper would not stay on the holder, it kept falling in the floor. On a positive note, the location was great. It’s literally close to everything.

The room was awesome! Really cool setup! It was a great location. The staff could've been a little friendlier, but they weren't bad or anything for the most part. Just seemed a little stress or something. It was quiet, cozy, and was by basically everything. They provided us with free breakfast vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. And the breakfast was phenomenal! They had awesome art all over the place. We'd really love to stay here again the next time we're in Dallas.

The rooms were cute, the hotel seemed clean and maybe needed a little paint here and there. The hotel, however, is in a sketchy area with homeless "cities" on two sides. The clientele that this hotel draws is less than desirable unless you are ok with people half naked at the pool, shooting Only Fans videos. Don't take your young kids here.

Yelp
Absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Lorenzo Hotel in Downtown Dallas! The staff were very friendly and overly accommodating. Came to town for a wedding in Downtown Dallas. I was about to get an early check-in. Which was very helpful traveling with a 6-month old. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel has been updated and I LOVED the large mirrors in the hallways and the room. Lots and lots of mirrors throughout the hotel. Room service was very fast. The food was so-so. But the service was lightening speed!! I was also able to get a late check-out as I had a late flight. Very happy that the hotel was able to accommodate these arrangements. The hotel location is not right in the heart of downtown, but it is a 4 minute or $7 uber drive from everything downtown. I enjoyed the hotel's location, as it was quiet and kinda away from everything. Would highly recommend the Lorenzo.

Yelp
There was so much. Air conditioning never got sufficiently cold and was loud. They had a DJ pool party that had MAYBE 7 people show up and they mainly sunned themselves, however they played the music very loud for several hours which made resting very hard. The pet area had several dog droppings left behind, part owner issue but they could have checked it more frequently. Elevators smelled of urine No complimentary breakfast like other Hilton properties.

Yelp
Whomever designed the Lorenzo Hotel in downtown Dallas needs a medal. If you're an art person, this hotel is for you. It's sooooo unique and creative. I'm in love! From its funky design to its vibrant atmosphere, every corner of this hotel is a visual overload. Example. The carpet in my room was manufactured by the Shaw Carpet company quoting Hamlet's Soliloquy! "To be or not to be -- that is the question:" Pretty cool eh? It's got 237 rooms and a convenient restaurant. Situated in the heart of downtown Dallas, The Lorenzo is perfectly positioned for exploring the city's food and entertainment scene. So stylish! Be a cool kid. Stay here!

Yelp
First to review? Must be first as a Hilton Tapestry property because I know this hotel has been here for a long time. Legend has it that this is the property where Tina Turner escaped from Ike when she escaped his rein of terror. Tonight on my drive to Dallas, it showed up as close in my Hilton app and voilà.... less than $200 on this Thursday / Friday, so here I stay! Is this three, four or five stars.... Since I have the honor of first review 5 stars! The hotel has exceptional art throughout.. For anyone who enjoys art this is a bonus at Lorenzo. The way this property was renovated. You can tell someone put a lot of time and effort and thought into it. Congratulations to Help for investing in this property. Easy parking $20 overnight- pay online *see also below Funky style - not exactly what I need for my zooms in the morning, but you're welcome departure from the norm. Pool, restaurant, bar, check. Ate breakfast and dinner at the lobby restaurant Hamilton and both were good. Good coffee, good bar, & friendly staff. Rooms - nice rooms with big windows and some have views. Decor and beds will not be for everybody. Not too loud even though right on top of I35 Neon, shag carpet, art, check A few areas for improvement The parking payment system is unusual. You have to login to a website to pay $20 online for overnight parking. I suspect this is the honor system because I can't imagine someone's out there checking every license plate. However the parking lot is nice and very close to the front door and better than most full service hotel. The taco place in front of the hotel needs friendlier staff, or some training. Early in the morning, you have to go outside the hotel to get coffee because the taco place opens earlier than the restaurant the hotel. One thing, business travelers want especially is coffee in the morning. With that said the hotel has really good coffee and a friendly staff in the restaurant and food. They just need someone to be there early to serve coffee.
