"The operation that debuted last fall is run by chef-owner Shawn Phillips and is described as a serious, high-caliber project. Phillips' pedigree includes having "cooked at the French Laundry, Saison, and Atelier Crenn, to name a few." The project is busy this summer: the chef is taking over Tal Palo in Los Altos on June 7, 14, 21, and 28, and will cook in the city at Birba on June 8, 15, 22, and 29.
