"A solid, no-B.S. sports bar with a menu full of pictures (so you can just point at a burger if team has you feeling depressed), and Sunday specials like $15 buckets of beer and $5 margaritas. They also have Sunday night karaoke if you want to celebrate a big win." - kat hong, james montgomery

One of my absolute favorite restaurants for Mexican food in Burbank! They serve incredibly delicious and authentic dishes, all prepared with a lot of love and fresh, high-quality ingredients. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Whether it’s tacos, burritos, or the fantastic salsas – everything is perfectly seasoned and simply a delight. And the best part: the prices are absolutely fair and very reasonable for the outstanding quality you get. If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican cuisine, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

Google
A Happy Hour favorite. I absolutely love the nachos. They're always so full of flavor and COMPLETELY LOADED. The margarita hits the spot & the house bean dip is FIRE too. 🙌🔥

I visited Los Amigos in Burbank on Cinco de Mayo, so as expected, it was very busy. Despite the crowd, the staff remained friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent throughout the night. The food was flavorful, especially the steak, but the portion size was on the smaller side, and the grilled vegetables were slightly overcooked. One of the standout positives was the bar; the cocktails were strong and generously poured, which definitely added to the festive vibe. Parking, however, was a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead if you’re visiting during a busy time. Overall, it’s a great spot with a fun atmosphere and just a few areas that could be improved.

Google
Here’s a restaurant that has been around for a while, and deservingly so. Friendly staff that take good care of their customers and really decent food. Fresh and flavorful. Good for families and couples, or even solos that prefer sitting by the bar for a drink and catch some ball game. There is patio dining space, and a parking lot too

Fantastic! Went here for Ciñco de Mayo based off a friend’s recommendation. Everything was delicious! Their service is fast and the drinks are strong! They also have a really good set of lunch specials. I’m going back again soon!

Google
Dined here twice while staying nearby. Everyone on this trip agreed Los Amigos was #1 out of everywhere we ate. •Service 5/5: they never let our ice water run out, promptly served salsa, warm refried beans, and chips. •Portions & Pricing 5/5: huge servings, easily shareable. Prices are fair given the excellent quality and quantity! •Tostada 5/5: exceptional flavor, refreshing, not heavy, yet filling, the best tostada/taco salad I’ve ever had! Loaded with fresh crisp lettuce, guacamole, pico de galo, sour cream, excellent refried beans, perfectly seasoned shredded chicken, and I’m not sure what kind of cheese was on it, but it was excellent! •Mahi Mahi 4/5: my friend ordered this, said fish was cooked perfectly, and steamed veggies were great sides. •Diana’s Mole 4.5/5: my friend said the mole was unlike anything they’d had before (in a great way). A unique dish worth trying! •Combo #6 Two Soft Steak Tacos 4.75/5: two loaded tacos, side of rice and beans, and the most incredible Corn Pudding. Two of us shared. Personally, I preferred the chicken to the steak, but it was still great! That Corn Pudding though, it’s a MUST try, I’d never tasted anything like it before, outstanding. •Classic Margarita 5/5: $7 Margarita Monday! My friend said it’s one of the best margaritas they’ve had, it must’ve been - they got two! •Martini 5/5: my friend loved this. Strong, great flavor with a kick of jalapeño. •Carnitas 4.25/5: my friend said the pork was flavorful, came with lots of veggies, and great sides. I’d love to come back to this area just so I could eat here again, so yep, I highly recommend eating here!

Google
What a fantastic meal. My whole family loved their meal. The corn cake is to die for. Portions size is amazing and price is so good. I wish I lived closer and could make regular visits. Staff is also so helpful and friendly.

Yelp
FOOD: 5 stars SERVICE : 5 stars Ambience/Vibe : 5 stars Hostess with attitude: 0 stars Food is great and the setting and atmosphere in the restaurant is cool once you get past the host and to your table.

Yelp
Hands down the Mexican food around. Finally a restaurant that's not afraid to Season their food. Carnitas are fantastic and the arroz con pollo is my favorite. Not to mention their margaritas ..... perfecto You get 3 of these from your neighborhood Italian ! Honorable mention The entire staff is friendly. They truly go above and beyond. Like every last one of them.

Yelp
As it turns out, lunch was so hearty that a full meal wasn't in the cards. However, it was Taco Tuesday and for $2ea, it was a good way to try these guys out. I had a steak, chicken and carnitas taco. Now I live in Seattle and most Mexican reviews there start with, "This is the best Mexican food I've had north of Los Angeles". Th bar is set and this is it. However, I wasn't impressed with these tacos. The meat was dry, everything could have used salt and the hot sauce that I was warned about was laughable. I know that sounds bad, but I can certainly say it wasn't good. I found it all below average and I'm glad I didn't spend $20 to find it out. The place was packed so clearly locals like it, but I was underwhelmed. The best part was the bean dip, if was full of flavor and had an unexpected kick. If you didn't know, now you know. Really nice folks, I just wasn't impressed with the food.

Yelp
I have been coming here and had nothing but rave experiences but recently went here for Cinco de Mayo hoping to get some good deals on margaritas and appetizers while in Happy Hour. We got there early and it was packed. Unfortunately without us knowing they bait and switched us and that particular Monday they killed both the happy hour menu and the Margarita Monday specials. wtf?! I love this place and I see how a margarita special will kill your liquor sales but the happy hour menu? I live on being able to go there and get some appetizers plus an entree and some beer until 7pm for a better price. Felt a bit deceived and wasn't happy with how things went that day. I'll keep coming back but always beware that this restaurant will bait and switch you to make extra money by not fulfilling their specials (some days or holidays). I did appreciate the mariachi band that was there. Was nice.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp. It got really great reviews and I now know why. We went on taco Tuesday. They offer four different types of tacos, Carne Asada, chicken, Carnitas and El Pastor. We tried all of them. They were all very good, but I have to say my favorite was the ElPastor. It was moist and the flavor combinations danced, delightfully in my mouth. The chips and salsa were also delicious but if I had to say Suggest one appetizer you must get it's the in-house guacamole. You can specify the spice which we opted for medium. It was perfect, absolutely fresh and delicious. Definitely got the urge to lick the bowl clean on that one! The service was great even though they were super busy. We joined the waitlist on Yelp and did not have to wait at all once we arrived. Parking is a bit tricky. There's a lot across the street but it fills up quickly. There's also street parking. We really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely go back if we are in the Burbank area.

Ellie J.

Yelp
Lovely store. Fixed my very delicate necklace so quickly. The woman at the front desk whose name I unfortunately did not catch was so sweet. I'm not from the area but will definitely be telling my family who are local to come to this store for all their jewelry fixing needs.

Yelp
The food and drinks are good. The staff is friendly. Its been consistent for years and the prices aren't astronomical. What's not to like? Its our fave local Mexican spot.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday night is a hidden summer time gem. Great food at a great price. Stop by and grab yourself some food.

Yelp
You can never go wrong eating at Los Amigos! A great spot for an easy lunch or dinner. Both the food and drinks are consistently good, and all items are great across the board. They also have lollipops when you leave which is always a fun treat! The staff are all extremely friendly and the food comes out quickly. I prefer to sit on the inside opposed to the patio since it is on the street, however either option is good. Can get loud at times when there is karaoke but that is the fun of it! Small parking lot however there is street parking available too.

Yelp
Our first visit, it was a hopping busy Friday night and we were welcomed as if we were regulars. I was so impressed with the friendliness and great service from start to finish. Our family ordered the Molcajete, Mahi Mahi, and Enchilada plate. Everything was DELICIOUS. Chips and salsa were great and they kept refilling for us. We enjoyed dining outside on the patio. This place is quite festive. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Meeting a friend here. Ordered a mexican coffee which is delicious. Complementary bean dip, salsa and chips. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Quick service. Sunday games on. Makes for a nice Sunday afternoon. 5 Stars

Yelp
I highly recommend Los Amigos Bar & Grill. We've driven past it for years and were always impressed by the lively crowd and friendly atmosphere palpable from the street. We were pleasantly surprised when they accepted reservations, especially when nearby Mexican staples do not. We've had extremely long waits at the competition in Toluca Lake --never again now that we've dined at Los Amigos Bar & Grill. We're hoping to visit again soon and are even inspired to try our hand at karaoke. We've picked our songs already. We were seated immediately on a busy Friday evening and delicious food followed. The chicken fajitas and the enchilada verde were both tasty. The guacamole was fresh and plentiful. The beer and wine were just right. Great local spot!

Yelp
Really sad that the last visit as we sat on the patio, the music was blasting at the table. As once before I'd asked the head waitor we know to please turn it down. I see the people next to me straining over trying to make conversation at their table. And this time,he gave me a sour look and refused to turn it down. I guess He doesn't care about losing a customer who came almost every month..also I did not order their beloved chile relleno, and we had the beef tostada, the meat was red and mushy. Inedible. I told the waiter ,and he didn't even comment as he walked off. I won't be back..Rude.

Yelp
LOOK AT YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY!!!! They scam on happy hour and don't know what they are charging for.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
It was very busy on the Friday night. Large restaurant with a lively and good enough ambiance. Food was average, the fajitas were nothing to write home about. Flautas were not great, a little soggy on the outside and cold on the inside.
google avatar

Tami M.

Yelp
I love patio dining here! On a cool summer night or a warm fall night, it's a total vibe! Great food all around- I have never had a bad meal here in the years I have been coming. Very consistently friendly and attentive service- their staff is always so sweet and welcoming The quesadilla is awesome- don't skip it! App for the table or large enough to be a meal. Their rice is also out of this world, I love getting extra to go and having it at work the next day
google avatar

Daniel R.

Yelp
As I was begging to eat my meal the waitress decided to sit a couple with an impactful odor of marijuana (weed). My wife and I did not enjoy our meals. The staff needs to be careful when sitting parties in such close proximity.

Yelp
I used to work in the area for a few years and would pass by Los Amigos and always wanted to try it. Well I finally did. For me its just the basic mexican restaurant. Comparable spots like Presidente or Los Toros. This was on a Friday night which they wre kind of packed but not overflowing. The service was there but not as attentive as you'd need it to be. Also I ordered a tortilla soup that came with the main entrees. Kind of threw me into a rush or eating so that the food wouldnt get too cold. The michelada was aight. Spicy lemony and flavorful. Was on par with a general Michelada youd find anywhere. Tortilla soup was good. Very light and used chicken breast. Lots of veggies. Everything came together in this soup. The taco enchiladas combo is indeed a lot of food. THe tacos are good but were not consistent with the amount of meat inside that tacos. One had little while the other had a lot more. Both were kind of falling apart when I started eating them. The enchilada was good. The sauce was a bit unique with a deep chile flavor combined with cinnamon and cloves I believe. Im not sure if I liked it a lot. The beans are meh. Im usually a fan of beans but not these. Kind of remind me of canned beans that sat. THe rice was really good. Good amount and good flavor.

Yelp
Los amigos is a blend of your neighborhood Mexican restaurant and sports bar - generous food portions and bustling with regulars. We got the chicken quesadilla, tortilla soup, and chicken mole for dinner. We also got complimentary chips, salsa, and beans. The food was not the most authentic but still very good, and the service was fantastic. Also helpful that parking is easy in their free lot across the street.

Yelp
What a Gem in the middle of Burbank. Food was Great, flavorful and tasty. Drinks were great and potent. Plenty of parking. Service was very attentive and on Time. Ambiance was a little noisy, but enjoyable. Great value. Will return soon.

Yelp
The mocajete was really good and fed both my wife and I. The Service was prompt and friendly. Great Mexican spot in Burbank with an old school Mexican Restaurant ambiance. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
This was a fun place for a last minute birthday party for a league bowling friend of ours. We all ate, drank, celebrated and were merry. It was a lot of fun. There isn't much parking in back but there is some if you are lucky enough to snag a spot. Our server was very sweet and was hustling his bottom off for us. We made sure to tip him well though too. Chips were fresh and the salsa was just enough heat. Everything we ordered was tasty. I liked that there was a taco special going on. that encouraged us to eat more. The tacos were small but they were more tasty and flavorful than I expected. This is a tiny hole in the wall place that has its regulars and some exceptional long time patrons. I'd like to come here again to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Street parking is available, free, and all around and didn't struggle to find a spot. The music in the restaurant itself was too loud to be able to carry on a conversation. Service was good and the waitress attentive despite the fact that it was a busy night. The first waiter brought out chips, salsa, and bean dip. The salsa overall was bland. It tasted like it was made with no salt added tomato sauce and it had a bit of a kick. I ordered combo #1 which included 1 enchilada, 1 crispy taco, refried beans, and rice. I decided on shredded beef for my protein. The beef itself was bland, the enchilada sauce thick, almost like a mole sauce. The crispy taco was nothing special, especially because the beef was bland. The beans were the best tasting item in the plate. They were kind enough to proved me with a sample tasting of their mole sauce. I was told it would be sweet and spicy but it was chocolaty. While I know chocolate is part of mole, it was too heavy handed for my taste. I do not intend on returning.

Yelp
A quick stop for lunch before heading to the airport. Overall I'd give a 4/5. The service was great, as my server was very attentive and the most polite! They start you off with chips, salsa & beans, which I always look forward to when I come to a Mexican restaurant. The salsa was great, with a little kick but not too much. The beans were okay, I felt like the flavor was on the mild side. I had the tortilla soup for an appetizer and this easily was a 4.5/5. I feel like it's made a little differently than I've had previously, as this had a lot more veggies in it but the flavor was great. My entree was a chicken tamale (option for chicken or beef) with a cheese enchilada. I'd give it a 3/5. The tamale was good, but the enchilada was just okay. I felt like the cheese was too hard & the black beans lacked in flavor. Overall, I'd come back and try something different. The fajitas looked great!

Yelp
Parking: Tons of street parking available around this location. I went on a busy Friday, and was able to find parking fairly quick, literally 2 blocks over. So I imagine if you come during other times, you should be okay with finding parking. Seating: When we arrived we were able to be seated, with no problem. They have plenty of seating indoor, and outdoor regardless the number in your party. We had about 10 in our party for this particular time Food: Food was delicious, no complaints on quality or taste. Food came out really timely as well. Vast menu offers plenty of selections to choose from. Drinks: They serve a full bar, perfect for Happy Hour. Friday nights: They offer Karaoke, so don't come shy, come willing to sing, and have fun. Service: Super friendly from the moment we first walked in, and even the staff that assisted us throughout the evening. Recommendation: Absolutely, especially if you're looking for a Karaoke evening with family and/or friends.

Yelp
First time here. Best relleno around. Beer cold. Serviceis very good. Corn on plate nice touch. Only found street parking. Probably won't be back but you should try it.

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday. We were around 20 people who all arrived at separate times. Great service, food was really good. The chips will fill you up for sure. Must get the cheese dip and the guac. The staff even sung happy birthday when they brought out the cakes we brought! Lovely vibes

Yelp
10/10 stars. This place takes the win for overall customer experience in the Burbank area. It's welcoming and a great setting. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Our waitress Diana was a darling! She helped us with drink recommendations, offered us the guacamole as an appetizer which was perfection. The asada was cooked medium and perfect but my gf's chile verde pork took the top prize!
google avatar

Vlad G.

Yelp
Very fun and authentic Mexican restaurant in an unexpected location with free chips and strong drinks. Large portions of food to booth. The staff is very friendly. Southwestern/mexican themed and very casual.

Yelp
Excellent Mexican food in the heart of Burbank. We were welcomed and greeted right away by our server who was an older gentleman who also took good care of us, very friendly and welcoming. Food was great and came out quick, starting with the chips and salsa, crispy and the sauce was spicy. We had hard shell taco combo a la carte and they were delicious and extremely generous portions of meat. We also had the carne and shrimp were extremely tender and juicy and filled with flavors. For the ambience it was a very home feeling Mexican themed decor, great background music as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Curt B.

Yelp
Los Amigos is exactly what it sounds like because these guys are your friends. Everyone is super nice AND they have karoke sometimes. Not to brag but I did a killer version of I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Steven Aerosmith and they have me free chips and salsa with my purchase! The food is great, I'd recommend all of it.
google avatar

Shakira M.

Yelp
The ambiance at night is lovely, you can't ever go wrong with the service here. You are treated like family here, the food is superb, I personally like to order the steak picado, fajitas, or the nachos. If you're looking for a spot to go with friends, you should stop by on karaoke night, it's a blast!
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
The food here is great I love the corn cake service needs to improve and tell why is the Mexican coke $7.00 man if I would of known that was the price I would of canceled my order and I'm looking at the receipt and I was charged 6.99 for bar subtotal omg never eaten here again
google avatar

Sheeny A.

Yelp
This place is sooo good!! I usually get their chicken enchiladas and it is delicious! It comes with this creamy sweet corn mash thing that is to DIE FOR. I went back and bought a separate order of it to take home! So addicting! Also their tamales are homemade and fresh which I love and can taste it fresh, it isn't commercialized. The vibe is cute in there and the staff is great!

Yelp
Been coming here for years, lived the happy hour. It used to be taco Tuesday, tacos were $1 and margaritas were $5. Today, tacos are $1.99 and margaritas are $7. Walking in, you get seated right away usually as there is ample seating between inside and the patio. They come to get a drink order from you and bring chips, beans and salsa to the table. We like going on Taco Tuesday, just great value. Tacos are loaded with meat and I recommend the carne asada as they have plenty of flavor from the marinade. You can also code from carnitas or chicken for your proteins, or mix and match. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Just a nice little spot, especially for happy hour and Taco Tuesday

Vinay D.

Yelp
Great service, good food and drinks, and did I mention great service!! Their dedicated parking lot across the street was beneficial as parking in the area isn't always easy.

Otto D.

Yelp
Best service and staff around. Always make us feel welcome. We love the tortilla soup, the table side guac, and the fish tacos!

Yelp
We LOVE this place. Food is always great and friendly service. The tortilla soup is one of our favorites and all their food tastes fresh.

Yelp

Yelp
I love Los Amigos! Really great service, very high quality food. Complementary chips, salsa and bean dip! The margaritas.....they're so good. Come for Happy Hour! And karaoke on the weekends!

Yelp
Hello, I recently stumbled upon this restaurant on a late night while in town. I will say, I appreciate it being open later than most restaurants. Food, it's more a Tex-Mex style of Mexican food, not so much authentic. I got the trout, veggies, and white rice. My whole dish tasted bland. However, I was looking for something on the lighter side so I guess. My bf got the chicken fajitas and his dish was better than mine. The grilled chicken was seasoned nicely and the veggies were good. We got a slice of flan, and surprisingly, it was pretty good. It had a smooth creamy texture to it, and the caramel wasn't too sweet. Oh and service was good too. Very attentive and respectful. Would I come back? Honestly yeah, but I would stick at the bar section for the karaoke. Ole boy was going hard to Pitbull, and shoot, give me 5 margaritas and I'll be doing the same thing. DALE

Yelp
First time we went to celebrate a friend's birthday it was a nice place had really good vibes people were friendly they had karaoke night so that was pretty cool , a lot of people there can really sing very cool experience. We had some drinks our server was nice kept coming over to make sure we were good . Definitely recommend this place it was fun we were there on a Friday will be going back soon .

Yelp
I hate logging on yelp to give a one star but this place is so bad i wished i had an alert. If i only scrolled down more to get a sense of what a lot of you already know: The food is beyond bland, rice is hard, salsa cheap with no flavor, drinks weak and margarita mix - just comes out of can. There is no real fruit anywhere here (the whole point of a margarita by the way!) The burger tasted like there was residue cleaner still on some of the lettuce. The mole had no actually chocolate taste and zero flavor. Our daughters chicken nuggets passable but i'll bet they were just frozen like everything else. Yes, we can tell! You are not fooling anyone! What happen here? The employees are friendly the vibe is right. Its lively and fun. I would imagine for this place to get this kind of hype the last few decades at one point the food was probably exceptional otherwise it would have closed down long ago. Is this a direct result of a rock and hard place? Did the recession, then inflation increase their costs so much in return they bought cheaper and cheaper ingredients? till everything on the menu is so baseline it all has that "bland" of taste. There is literally a 2, 3 waiters/servers to a table going on here. All friendly and super great! But no offense i would rather just walk up to the counter and get it myself if it meant better food quality vs less employees. It really is that bad folks. You are paying for the name and vibe. A drink and plate is 30-40 each person. And in these unsure times with jobs and the economy crashing- for that price i better get a dam good high quality mexican food. Any taco truck worth their salt would beat this place. Sure there is a happy hour and maybe that's where all the good food and deals lies. I won't come back to try it though. Yuck!

Yelp
Spotted this place after googling the 10 best Mexican restaurants. On my first visit had the salmon. Ate absolutely everything on the plate. The fish was delicious. It was seasoned beautifully and wasn't dry or oily. 10 out of 10 on this dish. The second visit I had the pollo dorado which is a large dish which comes with about 1/2 lb of chicken breast grilled. It's accompanied with a chile relleno rice and I substituted salad for beans. It's a large dish. Absolutely delicious. All of the food was nice and hot and presented nicely. The service is exceptional. We were seated in the bar area and waited about 3 minutes before we had a server taking our order. I recommend Los Amigos for its excellent service and outstanding food flavor.

Maggie M.

Yelp
I can't believe I drove by Los Amigos so many times, but never tried it. Their food is so good. The ingredients are tasty and fresh. I often hear that there are so many good Mexican restaurants in the Valley. But, I have only found a few. Los Amigos is the only one that I like in my neighborhood other than El Carpintero. However, Los Amigos has a lot of options on the menu. It also has good pricing. I love the patio. Oh yeah, the service is also great.

Yelp
This is a fun and solid spot in Burbank. Great patio, spacious inside, and they even have a parking lot which makes it nice and easy to go to. I was given a gift card by a family member. I will say, the gift card system is not ideal and I do not recommend trying them this way. The employees were very confused about the gift card, most of them were not even aware the restaurant offered gift cards, and we got conflicting information about how to use it based on who we talked to. We were told by one employee that we would be able to use the gift card in the restaurant, but once we arrived and sat down, we were told the gift card was take-out only. Despite this frustrating bump, the staff was very kind and the service was attentive. I would come here for the great happy hour deals and to enjoy a few plates. Food rundown: Chicken quesadilla - wasn't my favorite, would probably skip this next time. Nachos with shredded beef -- loved these. Steak and carnitas tacos -- liked these too, nice and loaded. If you sit down to eat, you also get chips and salsa as well as a bean dip.
