Great environment, friendly staff, and excellent location! I ordered the chilaquiles with a side of bacon and it was tasty. Would order it again but next time I’d order it extra spicy. I love how everything on the menu doesn’t break the bank and I also loved the drag performances. I can’t wait to come back with friends and do the bottomless mimosas.

If you are in a hurry, don’t go here. The servers take your order and disappear because they know the kitchen is slow. They don’t even come and check on you until food the arrives an hour later. Even simple guac and chips for appetizer takes forever. They give you chips and supposed to be salsa, I guess, but that looks like a tomato soup. Not worth time and money,

I really wanted to like this place, the Castro is starved for new places, but it was disappointing. I got a reservation for Brunch for 6 at 11 - it took over an hour to get our food. We saw the workers actually get food out if a car and bring it to the kitchen and then our food came out 30 minutes after. The menu is strange as it has no Salvadoran food. The food was also sad portions, menu said my eggs came with potatoes and it was one potato cut in half. Im not sure if the mimosas had any alcohol in them - it was a meme of brunch. The servers were good tho!

New place in the Castro, just opened. I had 12 oysters for $22 (what a deal!) and home-made papusas. Oysters were fresh, so were papusas and had a nice chat with Luis, the owner. Plus, excellent location with big windows to people watch (and the Castro is perfect for it). I understand that they just opened and not everything is perfect. But, I loved my oysters, loved my papusas and loved chatting with Luis! will come here again!

Five stars at least! I went in because I heard beautiful music and lovely performers, they were really welcoming. The food was excellent, as were the margaritas. A recent reviewer said "they should hire someone who makes proper Mexican food" but actually, this is cuisine of El Salvador, and it is delicious! I can't wait to return to the USA to visit this establishment again.

Very friendly staff and we really liked the food! This is a place for a good meal at a decent price, but it offers better food in a smaller portion over a large pile of mediocre food. There is a good selection of Papusas! I will be coming back during regular non-brunch hours to try some more. They do have $25 bottomless mimosas for brunch.
