Nice taqueria, good place to grab a fresh and tasty burrito. Not 5 stars because there's no chairs and no restrooms, yet the prices are just as high as at nicer taquerias.

Great spot for a quick bite. Never fails to produce a tasty burrito with great additions. I love getting a jumbo spicy steak with the cilantro lime rice and all the other toppings. It's been a weekly staple for my food rotation and I look forward to one of those tasty rolled up packages of goodness every time!

WPTaco niight. Don't skimp on the cheese like I did, you'll lose all flavor. Go somewhere else for flavor.

Delicious and affordable. You can't really go wrong with that combo. Had a spicy chicken burrito with rice, beans, cheese, guac, sour cream, their chipotle cream, and some veggies and it was great! Looking forward to my next one!

My family and I are here almost weekly. The food is always top notch and never disappoints. Definitely the best burritos around. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Their food is ok but they consistently mess up your order. I started ordering through Doordash but picking it up so I can check it before I go home to make sure it’s right. Today I decided to trust them and place the order for delivery since I have Covid. I waited almost an hour. It’s late on a Friday so that’s not their problem but once the food finally got here my bowl had sour cream on it. I have a dairy allergy so I couldn’t even pick at it. Even when you go back to tell them something is wrong they all have to congregate and look at the receipt and the bowl like they don’t believe you. It’s very awkward. Anyway I don’t recommend unless it’s for pickup and you have time for them to remake your order.

Got spot. I usually get a loaded jumbo burrito. My son likes a regular with just cheese, grilled chicken and lettuce. The guy making it always says, that's all? Yup, that's it. Then he stacks my son's with chicken. The grilled chicken here is very tasty 👌 Try the chips n guac.

Classic, fresh Tex-Mex with a slight Central American spin, I think (but a, not expert). I’ve missed this kind of reliably tasty, always fresh burrito joint ever since I lived in L.A. Their carnitas and seafood are my favorites, but you really can’t lose on their small but substantial menu. Small menus often predict high quality ingredients and cooking, and that’s true of Los Amigos! I could eat their corn salsa or mango salsa plain, by the bucket, and be pleased as Punch with the meal. For tacos, burritos, and plates (basically deconstructed tacos/burritos), Los Amigos is awesome.

The only place I'll ever order a burrito. I ended up moving out of Boston an hour away and I make the trip a couple times a month, or when I can, because I have yet to find a burrito near me that even comes close. Also, this location in particular is the best imo. Their burritos are consistent, juicy, and fresh. The tortilla is one of the best parts Their service is quick and easy. Their churros are also the best I can find because they include the dulce de leche in the middle. Surprisingly, that's uncommon...at least in the places I've been. I just love Los Amigos so much

Tried it for first time recently. Probably wouldn't go again. It was 80% rice, the fried plantains were hard and cold, and the other included items were too minimal. A big jumbo burrito without meat should have more than a sprinkling of pinto beans and 3 slices of hard fried plantains. And, it was barely room temperature.

Having gone to the Boston College dominating 7-1 win over Providence College last night we got the Los Amigos Taqueria taco promotion. I have never tried this chain before so figured we should try a new taco place. We went to the West Roxbury location which is a small storefront with no parking and no seating, but the location is sunny, efficient, and clean. The chicken tacos with cheese and pickled onion that my son had through the promotion were the best tacos he had ever had. He loves tacos so this is quite high praise. I had a classic size chicken burrito which comes with rice, lettuce, cheese, salsa, beans, sour cream if desired and salsa roja. The burrito was flavorful, balanced with the right spice level and right acidity. The onions were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful given that I had not been here before. I lived in LA for years and this is easily the best burrito I've had in Boston! My son asked if we could go back. Oh we will!

We have been ordering burritos from Los Amigos for years. They are perfectly good burritos - not exceptional but until recently a perfectly good burrito for the price. However, our recent order I noted immediately that the burritos are smaller. The price for a "10 inch" burrito has increased, and the 10" burrito measures in at 6". No longer such a reasonable deal.

I want to thank Los Amigos Taqueria in West Roxbury for great customer service. I had by accident placed an order on Door Dash at the Brookline location, thinking it would remember where I usually order (West Roxbury), but I was near Brookline at the time and I guess Door Dash automatically ordered from the place I was close to. When I got to the West Roxbury location, I realized my mistake and tried to get a refund from Door Dash. But they wouldn't allow it because they said they were already making the order. Thankfully, the staff at Los Amigos were kind and made it for me there and did not recharge me. Thanks again for the great customer service. Also, thanks for making orders in a timely manner, and I enjoy your the steak burritos and love the plantains!

I got a shrimp burrito and it was all rice and beans 2 shrimp! 2!!!! The chips are hard good guacamole.

A solid go to for a burrito usually. Decent ingredients and fast for a good price. Not a lot of spice, and they messed up my order for no cheese, even though it is an option they offer in all caps on their site.

The Los Amigos on Centre Street can't fulfill an order correctly, just like it can't keep its kitchen clean. For years I have ordered from Los Amigos, and yet every time they mess up our order, charging for items that I don't receive, and adding items I never asked for. It is clear that the management and employees at Los Amigos do not care at all about the happiness of their customers, and frankly, other Mexican resturants in the area, such as Yucatan, Mi Finca, and Chilacates are far more likely to get my next business. I'm sure other Boston residents agree. Step it up, Los Amigos: we have other places where we can eat if you keep messing up

I've ordered food from this restaurant a few times and I'm honestly never impressed with it. Yesterday will probably be my last time spending money here. I wanted fish tacos and the fish they use is tilapia which is a red flag. I also ordered chips and guacamole. The chips had a weird after taste and the guacamole tastes like the stuff you get pre-made at the grocery store. I left it in the fridge overnight and it didn't go bad at all. Even Chipotle guac goes bad overnight. Definitely a sign it's full of preservatives and likely not made in house. The tacos were pretty messy and the flavor just wasn't there. Not worth the money.

This place is bomb.com. I ordered a shrimp and spicy steak burrito and I'm drooling thinking of how good it was. I've been to one of the other locations, and I love the consistency in how good the food is. I paid about $13 for my burrito, and was stuffed! Also- love how the employees were all wearing gloves and had a 3 customer inside the establishment policy! (I'm really into public health if you can tell ) Can't wait to go back!

Shrimp Taco very good. Grilled Tilapia Taco very good. Carnitas Taco very good. Chicken Taco Very good. Overall very good. Devoured and will devour again.

Sampled the chicken burrito & quesadilla. The food isn't bad but it doesn't compare to Chipotle. The quesadilla was the hightlight, nicely toasted tortilla, melted cheese and chicken cooked just right. The burrito is where they lose a star, realistically 1 & a half stars. The rice was absolutely mush and had no flavor and horrible consistency. The prices were in line with what I'd expect for the area. Online ordering was easy and efficient. Overall it wasn't bad, but I would chose other places over this one.

This is a hit or miss. Sometimes you food is good and sometimes you get horrible food. Tonight was a horrible food night. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. The chicken was burnt and the bowl was full of liquid. I ordered a salad bowl not a soup. I think this is my last order with them, to be truthful if you buy the ingredients you can make a better salad bowl at home. It amazes me how restaurants can accept your money in return for trash. If I pay for food I expect it to be as good as if I made it from home.

This Los Amigos location is THE WORST!!! I have been a loyal customer for years and never have I experienced such bad food and awful service. Today I placed a pickup order through Caviar for a burrito and burrito bowl. I took two bites of the bowl and was disgusted. The bowl was 75% rice, had a tiny bit of guacamole and sour cream (literally 1 teaspoon of guac and sour cream and I paid extra for both!!), the two bites of chipotle chicken I had was all fat (barf) and there were, not kidding, TWELVE black beans in the bowl. And yes, I'm petty like that and counted. I agree with the review below mine - skip Los Amigos until they get their act together. I called both the West Roxbury and Newton locations multiple times and they never answered the phone. So sad to see this place go downhill, they used to be great. Spend your money elsewhere supporting a better local business.

Let's be clear. I got a 5-star burrito from here. The only reason for 4 stars is because the line of in-person people had to wait for several minutes, without acknowledgment, while the men behind the counter filled multiple online orders. I agree with what someone else posted - maybe they should have a 2nd station in the back for orders that were called in or GrubHub, Uber Eats, etc. There was one woman in front of me and it was at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged her presence and took her order. I had to wait too. And the next person... There's gotta be a better way! Anyway, once I was able to order, I got 2 large burritos to go. Both with melted cheese, spicy steak, black beans, rice, pico de gallo, hot sauce, lettuce, shredded cheese and guacamole. The burritos were filled to the brim and the spicy steak had so much frickin' flavor! It took me two sittings to eat my large burrito. Dinner and breakfast, yes, ma'am! I was a little disappointed that they didn't have horchata when I went there, but oh, well. The burrito was fantastic. I'll give 5 stairs when they fix their ordering system (please don't make in-person people wait in a line outside while you fulfill literally 10 other orders - I know you're busy, but maybe a little back and forth...). I'll be back for that spicy steak though. Count on it.

Dirty or disgusting food server!!! the Young guy was using his phone as I walking in Saturday night November 5th He then proceed to put my order together however he didn't change his gloves after touching/handling his dirty phone and he grabbed the lettuces with his dirty hands/gloves..( it defeats the purpose to use glove if he's touching he's phone) I wonder how is in back of the kitchen where is hard to see, dirty bastards

So three years later....ordered in line 2 burritos. Let's keep it simple and hope for the best. Nope! Missing and wrong ingredients in both. They got the jalapeños right 'cause when they labeled them wrong my wife got a big surprise! Good thing she doesn't have a food allergy!

The worst customer service I've seen in the West Roxbury area of the city of Boston. You would think if it's the first time you visit a restaurant establishment the employees at the front counter would pay attention to the customers entering the restaurant. Myself and my family literally look at the employees at the front counter and they look at myself and my family and didn't even acknowledge us until I spoke up. In conclusion, I would like to meet the owner of this establishment so that this never happens to another customer or customers. The food was good but the one star was because of the terrible customer service.

The consistency with their excellent food along with consistent awful horrible rude customer service. But despite the service, I still go back and recommend to all my friends and family.

Such poor service. Placed an order to pickup a jumbo burrito, wasn't even ready by my pickup time. The woman at the front made me go through their iPad to find my order, and once I found it (mind you it was received on their end over 15 min ago in the system since I can see everything) the cook asked me what I ordered exactly because the ticket didn't print out all of the ingredients I ordered for my burrito. To top it all off, they weren't in the slightest way apologetic about the situation, they gave me burnt ingredients as well. I've been coming to this place for years, putting the poor service aside because the food was genuinely delicious and worth it, but it has finally come to a point where it is no longer worth it.

I usually order the burrito which is decent. Decided to try the salad. The steak was ok but this is a poor excuse for a salad. The slivers of lettuce became a withered watery soup. So disappointed.

Ordered from here a few weeks ago. Chicken burrito was excellent. Tonight was the total opposite. We ordered two chicken burritos (one with spicy salsa). So, I get home with them and one burrito is steak. My wife only eats eat chicken and can't handle spicy. I tried the beef one anyway and it was not good steak. Very cheap meat. The chicken burrito had pieces of chicken that had a pink hue. I couldn't tell if it was undercooked or that was the style of chicken this time - in any case, I pulled them all out one by one. They weren't great pieces of chicken anyway and were rubbery. The biggest issue is they don't have a phone number (or at least one that they answer) so now I have to dispute this on my credit card because we didn't get what we paid for. Would not go back again.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but l was super in the mood for Mexican so I looked it up on Yelp and popped in. The definition of a hole-in-the-wall. I got a burrito bowl with chicken, rice, corn salsa cheese and lettuce. There's about a million options available between the menu board and specials, but you really can't go wrong. At the first bite, you could tell every ingredient was incredibly fresh and high-quality. The chips were not salty enough for me, but that's the mark of an authentic Mexican restaurant, in my experience. Saltier chips come from the Tex-Mex places (generally, not as a rule) so I added some salt. Not much else to say besides go see for yourself! You won't be disappointed.

We have ordered from here a few times. The food is delicious and the customer service is great! They have a meatless burrito that I love. My husband and son very much enjoyed the burrito with chicken. Salsa and guacamole are both incredibly yummy. Worth trying. We'll continue to order from Los Amigos.

This place is AMAZING!! Oh my God I'm in love. I've only been coming here for the last month and I am addicted. I order several times a week. The ingredients are so fresh!! The food is always hot, has great portions, and is made fast. Run here!!

Screw Los Amigos. They use ChowNow whose policy is call the restaurant if you make a mistake or want to cancel an order (can't do it online). Accidentally ordered pickup and wanted to cancel and reorder but.... Los Amigos NEVER EVER EVER picks up the phone. Not ever under any circumstances. Do you jobs. ChowNow should kick them off.

This place is a mess, it is a wonder that the staff have knowledge to know how to open the door to get to work. I live right around the corner, so this was my neighborhood burrito place. Three times now they have not had my order ready for an online order. The staff make seem like it's your fault that they use a faulty online system. The staff have no system in place to handle when the online system messes up or crashes. Staff are completely inept. Thankfully there is another Mexican place Yucatan Tacos right down the street. Adios Los Amigos.

Let's get straight to the food I got the grilled steak burrito it came with lettuce chipotle Crema cheese tomatoes rice beans, I couldn't put it down (OMG) I love flavors and this was a great combination of fresh flavors it was delicious. The shrimp taco was okay, the flavors were good as well. They give you some nice thick shrimp on it, but the corn tortilla fell apart (I'm sure this was mostly due to travel, I ordered through Ubereats) The Churro: it's all my son keeps talking about!! That was a nice sweet ending to the meal Should you eat here? YES!! Get the steak burrito

Ordered lunch for pick up and I didn't get my side of fried yuca in my takeout bag that I paid for. I guess my fault for not checking it in the store ‍ picture posted if halfway through eating the burrito and I'm still looking for my sour cream and lettuce and salsa. Definitely not even close to enough. All I can taste it the rice. Makes it seem like a cheap burrito. Taste is bland as well as the burrito bowl we ordered. Won't come back. Will look for more authentic Mexican place.

Meh. First time. Ordered a large Pinto bean and cheese. I like that they are using Maria and Ricardo's tortilla and the beans had a nice subtle smoky flavor. Burrito was 80+% yellow rice. Skimped on all other ingredients. Salsa verde was just hot (which is good) but no tomatillo or cilantro flavor. Cheese flavor or creaminess doesn't come through. Over priced at almost $10...you are much better off at El Pelon!

I've ordered for them 3 or 4 times now and every time I get my order they are not what I ordered, cooked wrong and never put add-ons that are requested. They are also alway cold and a mess. Unfortunately it's not worth it to eat here.

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla via Uber eats very excited for it to arrive. It did arrive in a timely manner however, the quesadilla came in a burrito form which I wasn't too happy about. Not sure if that's how they make their quesadillas or mine just happen to become a burrito. It was okay. Not good enough for me to order from there again.

Finally, I was able to get in there and the line wasn't out the door and down the street! I had a spicy steak burrito to go and it was epic! Adding mango salsa and chipotle crema is a must... I do understand the long lines and the wait is justified. Such good food!

Food is delicious! Fresh and tasty. Mexican is my Favorite so I am alway quick to compare. Top spot in Boston for quick bite to eat.

Up till now, I was (still am) a big fan of El Pelon, then upon the insisting recommendations of a bona fide Colombian, I went to Los Amigos and ordered my usual benchmark: The Holy Carne Asada Burrito. The flavors were really good and well balanced, with a definitive freshness kick, moist inside, with just right balance between the ingredients. I asked for spicy, so spicy it was without being overwhelming hot. The few negatives for Los Amigos in West Rox are: - Finding parking spot in that street is a fluffing nightmare. - The shop is tiny, it's almost take-out only: 4 seats facing the window, over a 1 foot wide counter. - The decor, if anyone cares, is limited to a Los Amigos poster and a large soda machine. That being said, I came for a burrito, and I wasn't disappointed: it was a puta de madre de burrito! and I will definitively come back.

This location sucks. Ordered 1 shrimp and 1 vegetarian quesadilla (see receipt photo) and the "veggie quesadilla" was loaded with Pork! Seriously? I am A vegetarian so this mess up ruined my entire meal, could not eat it. No response from restaurant when I called. Unacceptable!

So I ordered here tonight and the food was so bad that it reminded me that I needed to write a great review for La Taqueria near by. I'm a Mexican American and I would rather eat Taco Bell than give this place another try. The tortillas are out of a bag, the cheese looks like it belongs on a sandwich and the employees always just seem like you are inconveniencing them. I've been here twice and both times have been a flop. It's a shame because it's down the road from me but it's just not worth it. Keep your money and drive to Roslindale or Dedham for La Taqueria. Once you do you won't be back to Los Amigos. I'll finish this with take a look at my photo. The rice has 0 flavor is stale and a burrito is not a soup. Soggy imitation tortillas is not where it's at. If the owner is Mexican or Latinx I say to you "Have more pride in our culture and do better. Bostonians deserve better."

The food is excellent! Everything is fresh and portions are large. The bowls are enough for 2 meals and their fried plantains are bomb!

How many other places actually have coconut shrimp as an add-in option for your burrito? Daresay...I may even be cuckoo for it? It's a great and affordable little place to grab a burrito. I've ordered there in person and everything comes out fairly quickly unless you walk in at peak lunch time. You can also order online and pick up too if you need to save time! The cilantro rice is a delight and I love that they have a wheat tortilla option for their burritos. At about $10 for a regular burrito in West Rox, it makes a filling and flavor-packed lunch. Good luck finding a parking spot on Centre Street though! :P

The guy at the cash register was relatively quiet, but the gentlemen out back in the open kitchen were laughing and talking as they worked. Parking wasn't bad - street parking is a 2 hour limit Monday-Friday, and I found a spot across the street. The businesses on this block seem to be on the small side, with minimal space to relax at inside. Los Amigos had a row of counter seats along the window, and a patio table set out front. I went with the fish taco - 2 for $7 ($7.49 after tax). It arrived hot in a styrofoam take-out container lined with aluminium foil. Good thing too since the salsa didn't have the juices strained from it. I nudged aside the shredded lettuce and salsa to get a gander of the fish - a sizeable, yet thin fillet. I have no idea why they cut their limes into these half segments which make it tough to get the juices out, but I did what I could and manhandled these double tortilla-ed bundles into my mouth. The tortillas ripped here and there along the way, and the juices dripped through my fingers as salsa and lettuce dropped onto the foil. Two were a good sized portion for lunch, but they were a bit on the spicy side for me. I considered their liquid offerings, but wasn't sure if any, except maybe their new horchata, could cool my tongue, but I wasn't feeling it that day.

I drive by this location when going to the grocery store and thought I would give this place a try. Was I disappointed. Waited in line for several minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Two male employees were making to-go orders and no one even bothered to say "hi, we will be right with you." A women employee came out from the back and also didn't acknowledge me. I moved over to where she was by the cash register and asked if I could order some tacos. She directed me back to the two gentlemen that ignored me the first time. Finally, I was asked what I wanted. I ordered two tacos, one carne asada and one al pastor. Both tacos were topped with pico de gallo that was fermented and going bad. I will never go back. If you have cameras, you should see how long I waited for before placing my order.

Still coming to this place at least once a week and realized my last review was written over 4 years ago, lol. Still the best burrito I've ever had. People have definitely caught on to the craze and the line is usually out the door during busy times. Highly recommend downloading their app for quick pick-up and easy customization. Pro-tip: add chipotle crema!!

The worst! Customer service awful, food not much better. Al pastor is not a soup. Tortillas are gummy, why? Hot sauce is weak. Gross.

I always enjoy their food. I've found that I often have a hard time placing orders online and getting ahold of them on the phone. In person I've never had any issues.

This place rocks, my order was prepared super fast and placed on a table ready to be picked up. I like this method instead of having to wait inline. Compared to other places this place gave me a good amount of food for my dollar Very elegant and welcoming spot. They serve large portions and for inexpensive rates. I liked the menu a lot and the waiters were super affable and chatty. Highly recommended.

A small taqueria in the heart of Roslindale. There isnt a lot of room to sit, but this place has excellent food quick service. The prices are reasonable as well! Food: I got the Al Pastor plato, a little salty but very savory and freshly cooked meat. Comes on a plastic plate with beans, rice, salad, and cheese. 8/10 Service: Very fast and friendly service. 9/10 Atmosphere: Very small space, only about four to five seats, but its a great place to grab and go! 7/10

OK so I have to see it I really love this place the food is delicious. A little annoyed tonight as I ordered a steak bowl which came without steak. It was still really good but I was anticipating the steak. Then when I tried to call it kept clicking me over to voicemail which was full or a fax machine. WTH.
