Los Angelitos Bakery

I have been going to this bakery for many years...about 30 years but not sure if it's the same family. They have always had delicious Mexican bread, pastries, and cakes...now they have added tamales (if you're lucky enough to get them). Great for a quick trip when you need milk or eggs, but you get to treat yourself too.

I ordered customized soccer conchitas for my son’s birthday, and was told this place was the best way to go. I saw their instagram and their past work so I decided to place and order, I sent them a picture of exactly how I wanted them. And the results were extremely disappointing! Not just how horrible they looked but also how they tasted. Even people at the party told me I should’ve ordered at our local bakery, instead of traveling 1hr. It was just very disappointing, and embarrassing even bringing out the concha’s, I needed up having to throw those away and get sweet bread from another store.

I’ve been ordering from angelitos bakery custom cakes for a couple years now and my family and I are always amazed how beautiful our cakes come out and not only beautiful, but so delicious!!! Angelitos bakery never disappoints! Always get what I asked for for! Not to mention the amazing customer service! You won’t regret coming to this bakery!

Nice people, but not sure if hygienic when they make their bread. Grabbed a couple of pumpkin empanadas for 2 days straight since the flavor was great, but on the second day, unfortunately had unbearable stomach ache after eating. Might be food poisoning.

Ordered a birthday cake. The cake looked like a 3 year old made it. Asked for a discount or have them fix it. For some odd reason, they saw nothing wrong with it ( see pictures below). All she was able to offer was a $5 discount out of $70. There was no apology. I hoped the cake tasted better than what it looked like. She assured me it will ...I arrived home and the cake completely came apart. It was the worst cake of my life!!! 3 inches of cake with 2cm of strawberries with more thick cream and another 3 inches on cake on top. Cake was chewy and in some areas dry. First time and definitely Never going back. If you are a cake lover and expect high quality this is not the place for you. No matter what area you are in, a cake should always be done well. Anyway, Definitely not worth the money nor the wait. No one ate it. ...

Let me say that I was looking forwardvto their tamales verdes this morning but was disappointed. The masa is dry . So sad to see that they no longer have the delicious tamales as they did before. And the conchas. Lost their signature flavor of Los Angelitos. When I take them home in the mornong they are soft but by the night they hardener. Please owners bring. Back the flavor that made Angelitos unique. PS. I had to fry my tamal in order to eat it look at the picture and tell me if you see pieces of chicken or moist salsa as back in the day. 😭😭😭😢

I have been ordering cakes from Los Angelitos for the past 2 years and not once have I been disappointed!! The flavors are so fresh and the designs are so detailed!! I send a picture and the outcome is beyond what I expect!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

On my first visit I ordered a birthday cake for my brother and I was so clear I wanted it just like the picture nothing more nothing less... It was supposed to be a tres leches cake with 🍓 and 🍌 in between the layer's the cake was nasty for it's price of 100$ so not worth it milk had to be added smh, It had more frosting then anything, look at the pictures you can clearly see the thickness and the bread so uneven, the 🍌 were not even fresh they were old.. How embarrassing to see the guest leaving the cake on the table to be thrown away. I also purchased bread now that was delicious nothing compared to the cake.. I wish I could've seen the reviews on the cakes before I ordered one

My family and I loved the cake it was a last minute order and I went to 6 other bakeries that couldn't accommodate me I was about to give up found them and they were the best did everything I asked for I really appreciate the. the service was great very respectful I recommend this bakery to slot of people

I absolutely was amazing with the work of this place! I was desperately looking for a bakery who would make a last minute cake as it was my Mothers birthday and the last Bakery went MIA on me. Los Angelitos Bakery's customer service was amazing. Nice and great people! They were able to make my idea of this cake come to life! It went so good with the theme I had. The cake itself was so tasty! My whole family loved it! I will definitely be recommending this Bakery and I will definitely be coming back for the many birthdays I have planned!

I got to say I am extremely disappointed with there customer service at this place, literally just got out the place trying to purchase a cake and let me say their customer service NEEDS improvement. I walked in and it took them awhile to acknowledge me, guy gets the cake I choice, writes "Happy Birthday Michael" I had to ask him to see it just incase the name was misspelled, then another customer walks in with their cake in hands saying something was wrong with the cake, he stops helping me and tells me his coworker was going to finish taking my order all she needed to do is charge me, she doesn't acknowledge me at all I'm trying to get her attention, at that time another customer walks in grabs bread she acknowledges them and asks them if they were ready, she starts charging them and I ask her hey are you not going to finish helping me, she then tells me the guy is helping and I say no he said you were going to finish helping at this point I'm irritated because of me standing their wasting my time. I told her forget it I don't want the cake anymore and walk out. It saddens me to see small business not probably train their staff or the staff not giving af. I suggest having some type of meeting to train they staff on how to properly give the best service they can and to have communication within themselves. Maybe have people that are on the floor to greet n acknowledge people I'm sorry I left the cake there but I felt like if I stayed the situation would of been escalated

I recently went in for a cake tasting for my upcoming wedding, and Deanna was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as she walked me through their offerings. The quality of both the bread and the cake was outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. I parked on the street, and it was clear that the neighborhood loves this spot, with customers coming in and out the entire time I was there.

The best bakery in town hands down I've been ordering my cakes here for 15+ years now always great customer service and detail on the cakes you can always count on them for any special event or special occasion or just because thank you again los angelitos bakery for making it very memorable for me and my family

I was part of a Día Del Los Muertos event at my school and we placed a large order for pan de muerto. We only received half of our order and when asked for our refund they told us they weren't sure if they could do that and that we would have to wait to talk to the manager in the morning. We understand that mistakes get made and that's okay. Our problem is that this company didn't take responsibility and didn't even try to make it right. We have been ordering pan for our events from here for two year. It might be time to look for a different company.

This is my second year ordering a custom cake from Los Angelitos. First time was for my baby shower, second time was to celebrate my baby's 1st bday! They always come through, payment options are amazing and they delivered to us. The cakes are always a hit, friends and family always ask to take some home but also for their business info. I def recommend they will always be honest and give you amazing cakes.

I love this place!!! The staff is amazing and very resourceful, I've gotten 6-7 custom cakes and they never disappoint! Flavor is best in class but the service keeps me coming back! Thank you Los Angelitos Bakery!!!!

I was really disappointed with the tres leches cake. It was much too sweet, almost overwhelmingly so, and surprisingly dry for a tres leches. Unfortunately, it just wasn't enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend buying a 3 leches cake here!

I placed a large order of conchas for a wedding and i liked that they were able to individualy wrap them in cellophane bags.

To start, I want say I have a great experience with the staff designing my mom's 80th birthday cake. All my guests including the birthday gal loved the design as well as the flavors. The cake was moist, flavorful and delicious. Look forward to having future cakes from Los Angelitos.

I ordered my daughter 2nd Birthday cake from this amazing bakery. When I went in to place the order the staff was very helpful and they did an amazing job helping me with my cake as well as an order of 50 mini pan dulce, their mini concha's are delicious.

Came in here for the first time today and so glad I did. I was craving a jalapeño and cheese Bolillo and ended up buying so many other pastries to try! I hear their cakes are really good too! Cute family owned business so make sure you go support! They have coffees as well and so many sweets to try! Staff was all really nice as well Found street parking out front.

The bakery has it all! We stopped by and were helped immediately. We ordered my father in laws bday cake and the lady who helped us Sandra was super helpful she was showing us examples and spent a good deal of time with us. She walked us thru the whole process and made sure we were happy with the options.

10/10 Absolutely Perfect! We ordered a 3 tier cake and heart-shaped conchas as guest favors from this bakery, and everything turned out absolutely gorgeous! The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were just as amazing as everything looked. Guests couldn't stop raving about the conchas they were such a unique and thoughtful touch, and everyone loved them. The delivery process was also seamless. The delivery person was so kind, professional, and handled everything with care. It made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend this bakery from taste to presentation to service, everything was top-notch.

Customer service is great and the pastries are good too. I just didn't like the baptism cake I ordered. The cake was too sweet more than normal. I don't recommend ordering the cakes unless you like super sweet sugary cakes.

Our reception venue hosted a tasting day for several couples, and Los Angelitos Bakery absolutely stood out. Not only are their cakes great, but they were the only vendor to circle the room and greet the couples. They followed up after the event to see if we had any questions and invited us to schedule a more personalized tasting. We booked with them for our wedding cake, marble cake with fresh flowers, and I'm so glad we did! Our cake looked and tasted amazing, and they were so incredibly helpful every step of the way. I haven't been able to come here in so long. I was intruded to this bakery and its yummies several years ago. I really like the variety of sweet breads that they have, but I also really like their French style rolls, boltllos. They are not only inexpensive but when you take 'em home and toast 'em, they are so flaky and crispy on the outside but soft and pillowy on the inside. Their prices are so reasonable. I like that you can help yourself with a tray and tongs, similar to 85 degrees. It's more fun that way. The young man who was helping to run the store wasn't the most talkative but he was very nice as he explained why he was gonna bag things up the way that he was. My other half also asked about a stuffed bolillo that was on the counter. He asked what they were stuffed with and the young man explained it so nicely. The hubby had to have one. He ate it excitedly the next day before he went to go bowling. He kept on telling me how tasty it was and how he wished that he could have had it the day of but after having come from a hearty bunch, there just wasn't enough room. SO Delish. free parking out front.

This bakery has so much delicious bread goodies and cakes and flan. They sell other products like coffee and drinks and believe packaged snacks like chips. They do have electronic payment and were cordial and professional. Nothing but good things to say.

I ordered an 8-inch confetti cake with whipped cream from Los Angelitos Bakery, specifically requesting it to be low on sweetness. Unfortunately, the cake completely missed the mark. When we cut into it, the edges were burnt, the texture was soggy (resembling a tres leches cake, which I explicitly asked to avoid), and it was overly sweet--exactly the opposite of what I requested. I paid $85 for this cake, which is far more expensive than similar-sized cakes at other bakeries, where the quality is much better. This cake was not worth the price, and I will not be ordering from here again.

I got my daughter's first birthday cake here and it was amazing! It came out better than the inspo picture and it was so delicious! The ladies that helped me were so nice.

I celebrated my 50th birthday at Luminarias and had a beautiful custom cake by Los Angelitos Bakery that made the day perfect! I worked with Deanna on the design and flavors for each tier. When I told her I wanted to do something special for my aunt who would be celebrating her birthday 2 days before mine, she happily agrred. For the biggest fan, Los Angelitos delivered individually wrapped Kobe conchas with the cake! They truly are a family owned business with a focus on family! Thank you Los Angelitos, and especially Deanna!

This is the worst place ever very unsanitary they need to be inspected by health department, their customer service is pure disappointment so rude and incompetent, also overly sweet and flavorless pure sugar!!!

I wish I can give no stars, I called, woked up early so they can tell me they have no tamales. They really need to teach those ladys to have a better attitude I understand it's early but you don't have to be a total B when im asking a simple question.

The best bakery! This is the second custom cake I ordered. The red velvet was so yummy. Previously ordered a custom bad bunny tiramisu cake. Highly recommend!

Their flan is sooo good. Custardy, creamy, and thick rather than jello-y. And the top where it's usually like a thin brown layer was crispy and you can tell they burned the sugar.

Have been to this bakery multiple times. I just love their bread because it's delicious and so soft. First found out about them because of their concha bouquet for Valentine's Day. Their rosca de reyes is also delicious and a very affordable price. What I love about their bakery is that they always allow pre orders and are so flexible and organized with their pre orders that my pick ups have always gone so smoothly. There's only street parking available but you can always park in the plaza parking lot next door. I always do since I'm always quick. Just be careful not to get towed.

We placed an order for a birthday cake for my toddler daughter. We ordered a 1 tier chocolate cake and it was delicious and looked beautiful. My daughter loved her birthday cake!

Honestly loved this bakery This is the only bakery I ever got my cakes from They're honestly really good, but the customer service is really shit. The owner, Angel and the owner Diana refused to help me with an order that they messed up on I paid over $$200 for a two tear cake for my sons. Fourth birthday. And they gave me a ginormous cake. Pictures for reference. ( mind you the cake we got was to big to fit in the back seat of my car Had to put it in the trunk )

I came here for my sisters graduation cake and couldn't have asked for a better cake. The tres leches was amazing and perfectly moist. On top of that, the design for the "Fight on" (her school's saying) was beautiful written! I cannot recommend this place enough. The people there are amazing to deal with too. I found the help very useful when ordering the cake.

Had a great experience. Easy ordering. I asked for a white cake and it tasted very cinnamon-y almost like a concha/mexican bread but in a cake.

I REALLY wanted to like this place and support a bakery in my home town. Biggest red flag should have been the flies chillin on the baked items like the pan dulce or the bolios that people kept coming in to purchase despite the added protein. *ahem* Anyway, I came here to order a cake for my homegirls baby girls first b day. I was over the moon and excited to get her a beautiful cake. I was very specific with the girl who took my order who was really helpful and very detailed with what I asked for and included pictures for them as well. I was scheduled to pick up the cake mid day, and it was to be transported by me a few miles away. By the time it got to its destination it was FALLING APART. Sliding and the frosting was melting like a whore in church. I was HUMILIATED and didn't know what to say to my homegirl. As you can see in the picture we literally Mickey Moused the cake as best we could and it still looked like shit. I didn't even want to serve it to the guests and I felt helpless and felt like I ruined baby girls first b day. Now before the owner comes at me with the whole we cant control the climate and what not, the cake was put in the fridge prior to being staged for photos. It wasn't even on the table 20 minutes when it was falling apart again. So even after we jerry rigged it the first time, it started falling apart again. 275 for a melted awful mess... You'd think that I would have learned from this experience but I didn't. And said hey let me try this again. My nephews b day was coming up and it was supposed to be horror themed. I sent my sister here and pre paid the cake. Paid extra for edible images. I guess they couldn't do it after all, never contacted us, and took the liberty of half asking the cake with card stock images. Guess we eating card stock cake lol. The cake was really plain and def not worth 155. If they couldn't do the edible images they should have let us know before hand and we would have gladly picked another cake. I let the associates know at the bakery that it was bad business practice to do that and whoever they were texting told them to tell me "card stock is extra and we didn't charge you for it" thanks I guess? Anyway, if you like bolios with flies and facilities with fly droppings and fly strips everywhere, swamp cooled sweaty walls, and freezers that look like the condensers haven't been serviced since I was born down the street in 1986, this is the place for you.

The only bakery I visit when I'm in LA! BEST CONCHAS EVERRRR! No one compares. I've been coming here for over 15 years and they have never let me down! Their cakes are sooo delicious and I hate this word but MOIST! They've done graduation cakes for me, birthday cakes and also bridal shower cakes. Any event I have, I order cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and so much more. Always delicious! They always do their best to accommodate. I also love that it's a mini store inside too I can pick up everything at once! Highly recommend to anyone who wants good bread or cakes!!!

Came here on a whim. And what a nice treat it was. They have so much variety of pan dulce. Their concha was soft and airy. Their jalapeño cream cheese bread was really good. And the prices were good. Coming back for sure.

We came here a while back and the conchas were so delicious and fluffy like omg! The lady was so nice and sweet, and the place just feels like grandmas house or like a bakery you would see in the corner of your house lol. The bread here is so cheap! I absolutely love this place!

Well found this place on TikTok and wanted to support small businesses. I am not from the area but, was willing to drive. Unfortunately I didn't place an order ahead of time, but winged it anyways. I just wanted to buy whatever I could find as a walk-in. Luckily it wasn't busy, but boy oh boy only one cashier??? With 2 people in front of me it took like 20min just to check out? If it wasn't because I came from a far I would've just left. The cashier Disappeared to the back for like 10 minutes? Doesn't tell the line or I'll be right back oh I need to get something??? I don't know if the owner knows you guys are becoming famous?? You need more staff especially one that communicates?!! Too bad so sad I will be back conchas were good. Just not worth the drive for me. (Oh and on top of that looks like they also had phone orders or in line orders people were also waiting) Cashier wasn't very pleasant either. Looks like I am not the only one with issues by reading the other reviews.

I found this bakery on IG and quickly did a pre-order for these Vday items because on their pictures they looked cute. However, at pickup I noticed they don't look the same at all. I told the person if they had any that resembled more like their pictures because these looked nothing like it and she said she'd try and find me the best ones. She did explain that when they go in the oven they lose their shape. But if that's the case then why post something different on pictures. If more effort is being made for the samples, the same effort should be made for what you are actually going to give your customers. I appreciate them trying to find "better" ones for me but next time don't advertise what you can't produce . I've inserted a collage of the pictures they advertised and pictures of what I received for comparison.

I met the owner she seems nice. It was rocky getting my ordered catered though. I called the bakery twice and have received two sets of information and have asked twice for the owner to call me and she texted right away the second time I called. I will keep you posted but as of now this is a great bakery with great items that can improve when it comes to catering orders

I live around the corner and I usually got the bolillos there but every time they have a different shape if you want to do a torta you're lucky if you get the perfect bolillo

Got a whole box of Heart Shaped Conchitas ! And yes that is glitter on top ! Absolutely warm delicious & reasonably priced ! The batch is fresh out of the oven by the time you have come pick up your preorder ! The workers were the absolute sweetest they could be your own family ! They also double ask you if you like the specific shade of chosen color which blew me away ! Never saw another bakery do this ! Oh and if you arrive a bit ahead of time like I did, fear not, there's lots of things to look at and smell ! Or make yourself un cafecito at their coffee station. You can tell the culture is rich in the bakery ! Will definitely come back for another occasion !

I stopped by this bakery as I had heard great things about it. I bought $15 dollars worth of conchas and no doubt we're they delicious. They are soft, sweet and great size for children. Unlike your regular conchas its clear that they are made with love. They have a great variation of Mexican bread both plain and colorful. I purchased their "Yelp $15 for $10" and when I attempted to used the deal, the lady didn't know much about what I had purchased. She called the owner and the owner informed her that it was only towards "pan", which wasn't notation on the purchase through Yelp. I spent 10 minutes explaining to the cashier how it worked and despite that she didn't seemed to had trust me and asked for my details in case the purchase through yelp didn't work. Not a biggy, but I do feel like they should know what products they have to offer and how to apply them. I also found it crazy that they charge $1 for the box to carry your bread out in. Covid-19: the bakery does attempt to limit the propagation of covid, and asks that everyone properly wears their mask. Ironically the same cashier wasn't wearing hers properly lol I do not want to take away from the quality of the bread but these were just a few things that really caught my attention throughout my experience.

Good bread, great service. Take cash if you don't want to pay .50 more timó use your debit card. When I visit my in laws I make time to come and get some bread. I haven't tried their cakes but their mil ojas is my favorite. Worth the 30 min drive
