I love eating here but recommend you avoid buying menudo on Sundays. They only serve it on the weekends and you can clearly tell the difference between Saturday and Sundays quality. The menudo is my favorite but it's so watered down Sundays and has ZERO flavor. I have been buying it for years and it's my favorite menudo in town but time after time I am disappointed. No flavor, no body.. But if you get it on Saturdays, it's the best! Great customer service and clean, easy to access location.

My second time at this location. The Menudo is so good, it makes you wanna smack Tía! The service for pick up has been easy. The place was nice and clean.

I'm a regular at Velasco but they don't have fish tacos. Los Arbolitos has the best, freshest fish tacos. Great portions and all the employees are so nice and accommodating. Burritos and burgers are terrific too!

Brother said the asada torta was great...as far as the nachos, had to eat it with a fork but that's a good thing. Totally hit the spot and couldn't even finish a half order. Super expensive on the prices..nachos were like 13$ for a half order as an example but it was totally worth it. Will definitely come back again to try their house micheladas

I love this place so much I really only order from here when I'm craving Mexican food! It's been a little hit and miss lately, but when it's a hit! It's a HIT! The asada is always the best, but they do have many other selections of meat to choose from, great combos, burgers "old fashioned" grandmas kind of cooking! The fries are always the best! Crinkle cut style and ask for extra crispy! I always get a regular asada burrito with extra green sauce. I normally would say one hot sauce is hotter than the other, but lately; they're both fire! In Delicious regards and also fire for your mouth, belly, and bottom end lol. You gotta also try the Al Pastor! Amazing flavored Pork, completely opposite of the asada yet so similar. Need Dessert. Churro.. Donut! Soft, cinnamon, churrolicious flavors from start to finish. Yes I made that up, but it definitely fits when you take that first bite. Great place to come throughout the week. They do have delivery through DoorDash and could be through others as well. Busy on the weekends. They have menudo only on Sat and Sun "I believe." It's amazing! Especially without the meat. Broth needs to be used to top off your tacos and bites of your burrito. Trust me. I didn't become a Yelper because I don't like food. Lol.

I busted all over my kids because of there pozole The service was really good , I forgot my wallet at my house and the server let me pay in a different way it was pleasantly satisfying the food was delicious the pozole and taco was so duolingo .

Best Mexican food around !!! The staff is wonderful and checks up if you need anything else. Every time I come in here I always get the best quality food for a very reasonable price and such amazing customer service. Normally when I stop at other places they are super expensive with very too little food however coming at this place you get very low price food for amazing quality. Always leave a tip because of how wonderful this place is !!! Only wish more people knew about this location!!! I love sitting down and eating since you can dine in or outside and they place music aswell.

I had a really really bad and ugly experience in this restaurant. First, the cashier was new but also very rude, the looks and the faces she made, made me lose my appetite. Also to add she forgot to give us our drinks and we never got them. Don't recommend!!!!

The sign says one price and your receipt show's another. It clearly says Burrito any meat, beans , rice then your receipt says $1.20 extra and some other charges for the most common meat. Not that I'm been petty. But your suppose to trust the Business. That's pretty deceitful. Check your receipts .

Had some take out for my lunch break a suggestion from a co- worker , for $10.00 you would expect this ceviche tostada to be decently portioned with enough to fill you as this is what a typical tostada in the area priced at $10 Would be. .I couldn't be more wrong, infant Portion of ceviche with about 3 shrimp the size of a cashew .. 1 tostada. I'm Absolutely starving and down $10.99. Cheers Yelp family.

Best food ever and I always stop when I'm in town visiting my storage unit. Great cheeseburger combo and their cabeza tacos and TORTILLAS are great.

Los Arbolitos is a hidden gem. Great home style food and very reasonably priced. Don't miss the homemade Chili Rellenos and tortillas!

Absolutely delicious! My in laws rave about this place and I had it for the first time today. We ordered for pick up and everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. I had the chili verde supreme burrito and it was great on its own but adding the green sauce took it to the next level. I highly recommend!

We love this place. Best taco, beans and salsa. They are the nicest workers and the place is so very clean.

Hidden gem of Visalia. Chicken enchiladas are amazing. I always add green salsa with mine. Not in the mood for Mexican? Order thier ranch hand burger.

Great people and great food. They flavor everything just right. I think they have the best manudo around and the fish tacos are phenomenal. Dont forget to try the barria, its pretty damn good to. Fyi they have homemade tortillas.

Amazing food. I usually love getting the chili verde burrito here. It's the best chili verde I've had in town. And I've gone looking for some good ones. Price is good, no complaints there. Staff is friendly.

I kind of don't want to review how great the Barria is, a little worried it will sell out! They have the best Birria I have ever tasted that came from a restaurant. It's like my grandma made it! Comes with fresh homemade tortillas! What's else can I say!

Birria tacos are best in Visalia. Every taco truck in town is fronting like they are making Consume and Birria, but u can tell 80% of it's just basic soggy tacos and Broth to dip. Not this place!

This is one of our favorite Mexican places in Visalia, the fish tacos are fantastic and the menudo/pozole is very good! The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Also the queso Birria is delicious.

very good food. they have great lunch specials and they are priced right. my favorite thing to get here is the carne asada fries combo. it hits the spot every time and the service is always friendly here.

I had a Supreme Burrito with Carnitas. It was pretty good. Overall it was a delicious and you can taste how fresh their product is. I regretted ordering carnitas, because it was kind of oily and oil was dripping out of the burrito, which was the only negative thing about it. Even though it is carnitas, it shouldn't be that oily. Other than that food was good.

Best fish tacos in town, I was sold on them when I saw them being brought out on homemade corn tortillas. 10/10 recommend.

Salsa needed a little bit of salt, good flavor on the red one. I ordered a Chile Relleno plate and it was soo undercooked I couldn't even cut it with my knife. The Chile was hard to chew as it was not cooked. The rice had a lot dry pieces like if it was rice from the day before or it was Not covered. My husband said the chilaquiles were good and meat was tender. The horchata was really good! I would give this place another try without ordering the Chile Relleno or Rice. Staff was friendly!

Come and Support this locally owned business. Dine inside or out. Food is incredible, home made tortillas is a plus! The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is extremely clean. Don't forget to try the churro donuts! They're warm and crispy just like a churro! Overall great place!

Okay, after sampling Menudo from a dozen other places in Visalia; Id have to say this is my favorite, a lot better than the place in Tulare that allegedly has the best in the county. In my opinion, the best soups have to have great broth...think about it, Chicken Noodle, Pho, Caldo de Res...and Menudo is no different. I think the broth is one of the best. It is light, very flavorful, not too greasy, and add a tablespoon of the red salsa and its perfect! Give it a try. Oh, and the 2 young dudes that work there are really friendly and funny. Ive quit searching for consistently good menudo, Ill just come here. Steve

Good Food Homemade Tortillas food is pricey but worth it my only complaint is the cost of the drinks they cost a fortune!! 1.25 for a can pepsi!! But overall food is worth the price

Great tacos for a very reasonable price. I had the asada and lengua tacos both made on homemade corn tortillas and with beans used as a garnish. Three of us ate for under $20.

I come here all the time. The food is great and fresh, the service is friendly, and the place is almost spotless.

Portions are decent but they are extremely Over priced and now they charge a dollar for a refill on your small drink! I paid 11 dollars for a burrito and a small soda. :/ Won't be coming back

Always Fresh Los Arbolitos authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Indoors and enjoying some outside patio time!!!

Went there for some lunch today. I had the fish tacos which were really good. The corn tortilla is hand made, soft and warm. The fish tasted clean and fresh and the breading was just right. The fish did not seem oily at all. The creamy sauce tied it all together. It was a very mild sauce that had great flavor. I'm not going to say they are the best fish tacos ever but they are the best in the area.

All I have to say, is it's all about the home made tortillas. Good quality food. Not too greasy like some Mexican food can be.

This place is great. It's CLEAN, the service is fast, the guy that takes your order is always super friendly, and the food is good. Another yelper wrote that this place is a little pricey... I disagree (although I see his point about a can of Pepsi being $1.25). I usually get a bean and cheese burrito, my husband gets a meat burrito or tacos and we both eat for under $10 (and usually we have leftovers). If you're looking for some quick and tasty (Americanized) Mexican food, this place does the trick.

Excellent! The food was inexpensive , but fresh and tasty; the quality and presentation that of a more expensive sit-down restaurant. We had a cheese quesadilla (served with guacamole and sour cream), a bean and cheese burrito, shrimp and chips, and the enchilada dinner combo. The only problem is that we are on a road trip and won't be back in Visalia anytime soon!

Best Mexican restaurant in Visalia, may not be fancy but the food is amazing. My kids love this place!
