Los Arcos Kitchen & Cantina-North

I was told to try this place when I traveled to Rochester Mayo Hospital ,and we were definitely not disappointed! Service was on point and the food was delicious! This restaurant was clean with a huge bar area . The staff was very friendly and attentive.We will definitely be back .

Los Arcos Kitchen and Cantina-North exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was delicious, served quickly, and piping hot. Our server was exceptional—she checked in on us multiple times, made sure we had everything we needed, and even brought us extra chips and napkins without us having to ask. Her attentiveness and professionalism truly stood out. We left feeling so happy we chose this spot. Highly recommend for great food and outstanding service!

Great staff and food was wonderful. Huge servings, so I had plenty for lunch today. Very yummy steak band chicken fajitas.

I have always been seated very promptly here. I appreciate that the menu has different sections. This makes it easier when you are deciding what to get. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The bathroom is located in the back corner of the restaurant. It is clean and well-maintained. They bring you chips and salsa while you are waiting for your meal.

This was the best Mexican food I've ever had! I ordered the chicken fajitas, chips, queso, salsa, and they brought out black bean dip (fantastic!), and my mom ordered the chicken and cheese enchiladas. We both couldn't stop expressing our awe of how good it was! And piping hot! We were immediately seated and our waiters were extremely attentive (checked on us 4-6 times) and fast. Everything was spacious, they seated us away from others which I appreciated since I'm recovering from heart surgery, and the music was a pleasant level. You don't have to shout to hold a conversation. The art is pretty, it has good lighting, and is very clean. The only thing that doesn't make sense is the fabric choice on the booth benches. You can't slide. At all. But we're definitely making it a tradition to stop when we go to/from the Mayo Clinic. It was sooooooo GOOD! 10/10. Update three months later: still phenomenal on all counts! It's now our tradition to stop here for lunch! Shout out to our waiter, Eugenio!

Stopped at Los arcos for dinner while visiting Rochester Minnesota and I was very impressed with the entire experience. I ordered the chili pork Verde which was one of the best I've ever had and tried the new Corona sun breeze witch was very good but will definitely be trying their Margaritas on my next visit plus our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere had a fun vibe with many of the customers laughing and talking amongst each other so if you're looking for a delicious Mexican meal while visiting Rochester I would highly recommend Los arcos.

Me and my wife went there. It used to be Baker Square where we went a lot. The atmosphere is great. There’s a lot of servers and the service was exceptional and fast. We got the rice scallop shrimp plate and it’s a large portion. Very good. Also, they give you plenty of chips and salsa and bean dip. Also we got a fantastic dessert. Chocolate layer cake . The server was exceptional and very friendly.

My wife and I recently had dinner at this restaurant and came away satisfied. The atmosphere is laid back with plenty of room for customers. There is also a full service bar. The food was good, although the battered walleye I ordered was a bit overcooked. We felt the prices may be a bit high for a no-frills restaurant and because most of the Mexican food items (rice, beans, peppers) we were served are fairly inexpensive when compared to entrees at non-Mexican restaurants. This restaurant has a happy hour when in-house margaritas are discounted and the flavors we ordered were very good. The server we had was very friendly and our food was served in a short amount of time. We will probably patronize this restaurant again.

Los Arcos food and drinks always delivers! The margaritas are strong and tasty and they have a bunch of flavors to choose from. Happy hour goes until 6 on weekdays and is a great value. The food is also great - the complimentary chips, salsa, and black bean dip is delightful. This time we split the Ranchero quesadilla with steak which was soooo good! The restaurant is plenty big to serve large and small groups alike. The new booth seating is comfortable and clean. Service is generally good. Our server was a bit scattered but super sweet. Everyone else who works there is also welcoming. Would recommend Los Arcos!!!

Birthday celebration at Los Arcos! First time and won't be our last. I ordered my reliable steak fajitas. My hubby ordered the burrito California. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with warm chips paired with a classic salsa and a surprisingly tasty black bean dip - nice touch! The portions here? Massive. Seriously, come hungry or plan for leftovers. The fajita, wow - what a veggie medley! Mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, onions - each cooked to perfection! Delicious, satisfying, and yes... nap-inducing. Can someone say nap time? The ambiance? Well, I wouldn't say there was one. It's basically Baker's Square, with a Mexican flare. The restaurant itself looks worn, but, that's okay! Service was mediocre - but not terrible. We had a large group and our food was quick!

Overall the food was great as always, except one small thing, the mozzarella sticks were so hard we couldn't bite them. The service was wonderful. The dining area at this location definitely seemed more spacious than the south one.

If a 6 star rating was possible, I would give them it. Great atmosphere (but nothing fancy), fantastic service, reasonable prices and wonderful food. I had the 3 cheese enchiladas with steak pieces on top, along with black refried beans & Mexican rice. My wife had the combination plate of chili relano & tostada (along with the same sides as I had). Very authentic Mexican food and very delicious. Our food was delivered within 10 minutes! We stayed for dessert, both getting the flan, which was the best we've ever had! Too bad we don't live in Rochester, otherwise, this would ALWAYS be my go to for Mexican food.

Amazing food and service. Nice comfortable roomy booths. The portions size was very generous, you may need a take out box. Wait staff was attentive and was very observant and helpful. Came back multiple times to see if we needed anything at all. The price was reasonable for meals we had. And when they said big burrito, they were not kidding

The Mexican burger is a must it's my favorite my wife loves the fajitas the customer service is always friendly

Great Mexican food in Rochester. Love their salsa taquera, absolutely delicious. Service is fantastic, food comes out fast, and the servers are kind, and great at presenting the food. I also love their food truck. They cater large parties with their food truck and their tacos made in the food truck are delicious!

This is the BEST Mexican food in all Rochester! It is delicious and the portions are huge. We won't eat at any other Mexican restaurant.

Lovely place! Ample seating, pleasant ambiance, clean and airy. The food was amazing, the waitress was absolutely great and we enjoyed a bit of a banter with her about how the salsa, the queso, and the black bean dip were like tres pecados. The salsa, dip, and queso are indeed yummy and sinfully great. The entrees were incredible - enough rice and beans for a crowd, so if you're dining alone, do yourself a favor and ask for a baby portion of rice and beans. The regular serving is enougnt three or four people to share. Great selection of drinks as well. We will definitely return to this restaurant any time we are in Rochester.

I have been eating at Lost archos for over 5 years now and I have nothing bad to say about this place. My highlights would be their table side guacamole and their Texas nachos. I am a nachos enthusiast and have tried every nacho option in Rochester. Los archos gets my winner for consistency, customisability and flavor. Their nachos are smokey and they do not skimp on the cheese and toppings. Reference my picture to see for yourselves. These nachos are loaded! They have perfected the art of getting that perfect char flavor and have some of the best carnitas (pork) chunky, fatty, smally and juicy. The best way to get their pork is by ordering their large platters that Include it or subbing it for steak. But all their dishes are great.

I've been here three times since I've been in Rochester for treatment. It's wonderful every time we go. I only wish I were allowed to have one of the margaritas.

Food quality-excellent. Atmosphere- very good and comfortable. Service-superior. Price - very reasonable for the quantity and quality.

I have visited this place at least three times. This visit was uneventful. The chicken in my Burro Matzalan was bland and chewy. The dish was void of any flavor. A companion chicken faitias entree was about the same, devoid of any taste. Brought this fact to the server who apologized and not much more. I think the quality does not fit with the pricing. A step up from Taco Bell.
