First of all, this place is a gold mine. Came here for lunch with someone who swore this spot had some of the best local Mexican food around, and I didn't hesitate for a second. From the moment the chips and salsa hit the table, I knew I was in trouble in the best way possible. It tasted like something your grandmother makes without measuring anything, just cooking straight from memory and love.
I was told to try the menudo. Normally, that's a dish I approach with caution because it can be a little much for me, but she swore by it. One spoonful in and I wanted to walk straight into the back and hug whoever made it. No exaggeration. The flavors were deep, balanced, and comforting. You can taste the patience, the experience, and the passion it takes to make a dish like that the right way.
The service was just as memorable as the food. Warm, welcoming, and genuine. You can tell this is a family affair, the kind of place where everyone cares about what comes out of the kitchen and how you're treated at the table.
Los Asaderos Mexican Restaurant is the kind of spot that reminds you why local places matter. I'm already planning a return because there's no way I'm leaving this menu unexplored. This is comfort food done with heart, and it shows in every bite.
