"This is the debut of the burger pop-up from Portland artist Lorenzo de Alicante, who is entering the now extremely competitive smash burger league in Portland. Lo's little hit of heat in the burger's special sauce may set it ahead of the pack, however. Either way, My People’s Market will be the first place to try it." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Amazing burgers! Best smash burger I've ever had. The person who took our order threw in some spicy honey sauce and it was sooo good. We ate outside nice atmosphere.

Went here today and I must say it was a damn good collection of flavors and textures. I'm a burger connoisseur and critical on one thing and one thing only, that everything tastes good. The smash burger, sauce and pickles were on point. The waffle fries were perfectly crisp and salted. Hot tip= *You must get the hot honey sauce for the fries! Level ⬆️ 100% reccomend and will be back. 9.5 out of 10 My only critique if I had to have one would be maybe a couple other burger options, like a western bacon burger, banh mi burger, etc.

Google
Amazing, best burger I’ve ever had. 2 meals was a total of $30 and it was well worth that.

I had this burger for burger week at Creepy’s and was in heaven. Had no idea there was a truck right near me. Had the impossible lo’s burger with caramelized onion jam….drool. 10/10

Google
I recently got recommended this new Food Truck and it has become my favourite Burger Place. Smash Burgers are $7 for the most basic one with others going up to around $14, which is an awesome price. Not only are they cheap though, they are also just REALLY good. I come back often whenever I crave a burger. 5/5

Went here for lunch today. Lorenzo, the owner, was at the grill. His house made sauce will change your life. The burger was so good it made me angry. This place is a jewel in N. Portland. Man what a good burger. Hot tip: dip the waffle fries in the sauce. You'll thank me for it. Highly recommended and ridiculously good prices.

Google
Sort of the ultimate Smashburger. The burger is very affordable but pretty thin so either get two burgers or double the Patty. The seasoned waffle fries are a huge portion and pretty good if you like seasoned fries. There's a nice beer cart next door. Also next time I might order the option where they Grill it with shaved onion

Google
No joke, Lo’s has the best smash burger I’ve had in years and it’s not close. I never leave reviews but a place like this is special so here we are. The dude who runs she shop really just gets it. Crispy edges on the burger, and the sauce and pickles and American cheese. Just absolutely nails it. Melt in your mouth bun. Waffle fries are elite too. Plus they have a few different options including one with a chili oil of sorts that is fire. Just can’t say enough about how money this place is.

Yelp
It's a yessss for me. I added the caramelized onion jam and the crispy fried shallots....and a Oaxaca cheese skirt. SO GOOD. Go here.

Yelp
I feel like the Williams food cart pods are still under the radar and a little hard to find unless you're looking for a place and Lo's Burgers is no different. It's in a newer pod area and there's just a sign near the entrance to let you know they are in the back of the area. They seem fairly newer but I enjoyed that they had a covered tent that they pump hot air into during the colder days. As for the burgers? Who doesn't love a good smash burger especially when they have twists on your favorites like the Oklahoma burger with plenty of onions. I'd recommend getting double patty if you're hungrier and want a more filling burger. Don't skimp on their fries either since they were fried to perfection! Great pairing with the melty cheese of the burgers and their sauces. Don't skimp on getting some extra ones on the side.

Yelp
unintentionally tried this little hidden gem. smelt the food & watched someone walked out from the side of the building with a bag of food, so I'd say our noses guided us here. first, the guy taking our order was so nice & helpful. we were indecisive, but he was patient with us & told us about some items on the menu. we ended up going with the esquites, waffles fries, Macha & Baddy burger. the Macha burger was spicyyy but in a good way. the patty was cooked perfect with slight char & melted cheese. the esquites(corn) was good but a little watery for my liking. the waffle fries were cooked perfectly. i docked 1 star because my burger was super greasy. maybe from the spicy sauce? my partner had the Baddy burger & he liked it as well. there's a tent with a heater in there so you don't get too cold while you wait for your food. it's hidden behind a building, but just keep going all the way to the back & you'll see them

Yelp
Best smash burger I've ever had. Got it the "Lo's way". The pickles are a nice added touch. Burger was charred perfectly. Waffle fries with the burger sauce = perfection!

Yelp
I had this burger for burger week at creepy's and didn't realize there's a truck on Williams. It was just as good as I remember. SO glad there's one near me. 10/10

Yelp
Food was amazing! The person taking orders was super cool and brought food out to heated tint. I went at night so it was super cold. I was lucky to be near heater. This place is tho! Gotta try!

Yelp
Three hours into a tattoo session, and the only thing keeping me going was scrolling through photos of Lo's Burgers. That was my first stop when I got out and it did not disappoint. I was able to call in the order ahead of time (two impossible smash burgers, one regular smash burger, a big bag and a side of waffle fries, hot honey special sauce and Lo's sauce), which was ready in 15 minutes. I easily found a 15 minute parking spot a few steps away from the food cart pod entrance. The person who rang me up (who I believe I also talked to on the phone) was super nice and informed me they accidentally made the meat burger a double, which my husband was not upset about. They have a chill little covered seating areas shared by a few food carts. Prices were very reasonable. You do pay extra for the sauce, but they gave us a ton! I go nuts on condiments and it was more than I could finish. The big bag of fries were perfectly cooked and so huge, it was more than enough to share for two people. The veggie burger was possibly the best I've had in Portland! Crispy on the edge and soft in the center, with pickles, Lo's sauce, and a buttery bun. Some places overcomplicate the veggie burgers or overdo the toppings, but I think Lo's does it right - they keep it simple and let the burger speak for itself. Couldn't recommend this place enough. We will 100% be back.
