Los Cabos Seafood Bar and Mexican Grill

We were seated in the rear of the restaurant, which looks like it was added on. There were pools of water on the floor that no one seemed concerned about, and the atmosphere was dark. The waitress brought out our food, and we didn't talk to her again until we asked for togo boxes. She never asked how the food and drinks were or if we needed anything else. Then our bill was incorrect and had to be redone. I'm glad that the food and drinks were good and that it wasn't a total disappointment, because there was a party of six and two of the women thought it was cute to laugh and cackle at the top of their lungs. It was so annoying! Based on the food, I'd probably try them again and hope for a better experience.

Food is always good, drinks are good. It's a tad loud but overall always an enjoyable time. I drag my handsome friend to this restaurant as much as I can to have an amazing meal.

From the moment we walked in, the experience at Los Cabos was top-notch. We were greeted and seated right away — no wait, no hassle. The service was fantastic, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. The food? Hands down the best Mexican cuisine in the area — fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Every bite was a win. The atmosphere has something for everyone. There's a comfortable indoor dining space, bar seating for those who want to catch the game or skip the table vibe, and a covered porch out front for a more laid-back feel. I love that they offer options like that — it makes the space work for different moods. In my Gen X-er voice, I love that they didn’t strip away the old Pizza Hut bones — they embraced it and made it their own, with great updates like the bar in the center and a design that fits their vibe perfectly. Our only note: the main indoor area does get pretty loud, especially during busy times. Voices carry, and it can be a little overwhelming if you're sensitive to noise. But honestly, that’s a small trade-off for everything else this place gets right. Great food. Great people. Great vibe. We’ll definitely be back.

I went around 2pm for a late lunch and was taken care of right away. Everything I ordered was good with plenty of food to take home if I wanted to, but I was hungry so, no leftovers for me. The lady that took care of me was very attentive & nice. I’ll definitely take my daughter with me next time…

Very good food. My brother ordered the beef birria tacos, and I ordered the salmon. My brother enjoyed the tacos, saying they were well seasoned and flavourful. My meal was also very good. Broccoli was well seasoned, rice was fluffy, and the salmon was savory and juicy. We both very much enjoyed this meal.

Food 5/5: the birria tacos and salsa and chips are delicious. The blue Hawaii is strong too. They have corona on tap which is nice. Service 5/5: our waitress did a good job tending to us. Atmosphere 5/5: no complaints. It's a restaurant.

This place is wonderful! I can tell that the seafood is really fresh and everything we ate was wonderful. My kids loved the burria tacos and I had ceviche with flour tortillas and a side of queso fundito. It was all great. The flour tortillas tasted freshly made and I have basically no bad things to point out. The service was good but there was a slight language barrier but she was clearly trying her very best and worked hard to make our experience positive. I dont know my servers name but she was clearly about 4 months pregnant and i felt so bad that she was on her feet! The only thing that could have been better were the tostadas/chips. They didnt taste super fresh but were still good although I prefer the thinner chips and they were a bit heavy in my opinion. Either way I would go back, in fact I tried to today but they are closed on Mondays so thats something to keep in mind.

I have been here a few times. The first visit was excellent service was fast and often, drinks were good. The last few times the service has been very unwelcoming to my family. As I can here the same waitress being helpful with the orders and even asked if they wanted water. Not us, we sat there for at least 10 minutes before being asked about drinks, and was never offered water. The food we ordered came cold. I had a supreme burrito and my wife had street tacos. The burrito and the street tacos were cold. Tacos were only meat and lettuce, there was no other veggies or cheese. And if that was extra, it was never offered. The beans that came with the tacos were also cold. We didn't see our waitress again until we were done with food and drinks. I don't understand why we were treated differently but each visit we still leave a tip. I don't recommend this resturant based off the treatment to my family and myself but others may have a different experience.

The food is excellent. They give you large portions. The server was very friendly, she returned to the table several times to check on us. She filled our coffee without even asking. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the restaurant is very clean. We add breakfast. We will definitely return. The next time we are going to eat dinner here.

It takes a lot for me to leave a review, good or bad. My advice: stay far, FAR away from this place. Expensive, poor service, and lackluster quality of food. I to-go ordered chicken and beef fajitas for 1, steak & shrimp quesadilla meal, a large queso, 8oz guacamole, and an (extra) 8oz salsa & chips. The fajita order had two pieces of beef, and was otherwise chicken. The cheese was melted under the foil and stuck to it. The charro beans tasted like ranch style beans from a can. The beef in the quesadilla was mostly fat and gristle, nearly inedible. And as far as the shrimp in the quesadilla, there was ONE piece on ONE quesadilla triangle. The order had absolutely no salsa included. The queso was smaller than the guacamole, so not sure how it was considered a "large queso"..? So, wanna hear some good about this place now? The guacamole was on point and very tasty. The (small) queso was also pretty decent. Due to the quality of the food, and the lack of attention to detail when filling our online to-go order, I will not be going back and cannot recommend this place as a good choice.

Not impressed at all - they forgot 3 drinks and 2 deserts. Dinner should not take 2 hours to complete. It was extremely stressful waiting so long and made for a really irritating and awkward date- the octopus and avocado was dry. Not even sure how that's possible....

The drinks were amazing! Get the margaritas! The Ceviche camerrones were great! Would recommend!

Excellent chips and salsa. Taco Tuesday, at 5:30 pm. Dead, great service. Tiny hole in the wall which is way underused during the week. Friday and Saturday are the busy nights, but please enjoy during the week. We ordered the Chimichanga and Chalupa. Our server, Hazel was awesome. Our meals wear filled with delicious accessories like lettuce, sour cream and meat. I am very impressed. Not top of the line flavor, but good all the same.

Great food but went there at the wrong time unfortunately. Because it was so busy, it was loud and I didn't get the service I needed. They usually post their specials on their social media pages, check them out before showing up.

So I'm still sitting in the restaurant right now but I just finished everything. The service was fantastic. The food is probably one of the best Mexican spots I been to and I've ate at a lot of places. Someone said the food doesn't match the price well let me tell you it sure as hell does. Enchilada plate for 11.99 come on now. Chips and salsa made in house and they are great. The salsa has a some but not much kick to it so yall people out there with weak genetics I suggest you don't try. Oh I also forgot to say this place is really busy right now and the food still came out quickly. Hope yall give it a try and enjoy!

If you're from Texas you'll like this place but if you're from outside Texas looking for a good mariscos place. I do not recommend very little food portions and not worth the price

I was a little disappointed with my Togo orders. I had fajita beef plate and the refried beans were really dry and the rice didn't have flavor. The area was nice with a sports bar. I ate tortilla soup while waiting on my Togo order. The soup was great with good flavor and spice. The service was good.

Food was really good, service was also good. Restaurant was clean and smelled good when we walked in.

Now that's good eatin!!! Dining at Los Cabos is always a fresh, unique and flavorful experience! Great heat in their complimentary house made chips and salsa! Saturday's are a favorite with their awesome DJ spittin' fire late into the night! They have an expansive, authentic, mouth watering menu featuring some of the best seafood to be found anywhere in Texas! The staff are friendly, professional and attentive which makes for a fun and delicious dining experience every time! P.S. thei BEAUTIFUL delicious cocktails really shouldn't go without mention! I have re-discovered a fabulous local favorite!!!

Pretty cool restaurant where Pizza Hut used to be at. When I walked in, it brought me back to how the inside of this place was for years when it was Pizza Hut. We were greeted and seated immediately. We sat inside, but saw the cool patio after we were seated. They have fans out there for those who were worried about the heat like I was. The chips and salsa were good! Very thick chips and a salsa with a kick! Yum. We started with the half dozen oysters and I ordered the shrimp borrachos. The entrees came out right after the appetizer was brought out to us. Oopsy..did not have time to even taste the oysters yet when it arrived. Not complaining since the entree was nice and hot. The other reviews were right when they said the food came out quick. The shrimp borrachos (Camarones Borrachos) plate was good. Wish it had more jalapeños since the menu described this dish having jalapeños. I didn't see any in the sauce. I just love spicy food so thought it could use the kick. The cilantro lime rice was pretty good. The flavor was ok and the rice was moist. My dish came with seasoned vegetables. Overall the food wasn't bad. I noticed they serve paella here. May have to come back to try that or one of the molcajetes.

Ordered ceviche from here on DoorDash several times and pretty disappointed to see that when you order sit down the servings are larger and cheaper. I feel a little jipped on the servings when I can't sit down and go out all the time. Otherwise nothing but good things!! Love the food every time!

Came here solely for the oysters and margaritas. Good lord the oysters were delicious, I am thrilled Los Cabos had them after we were told at another restaurant that oysters were "out of season." I can't wait to go back.

This place serves the best salsa I've had in a long time. I ordered grilled fish tacos and leche flan. The fish was fresh. The leche flan was perfectly sweet! So delicious. My waitress was also very attentive and fast.

The service was great. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The food sucked. Everything was over-cooked and dry to include the rice. The problem is this is Texas and there are 100 other options. Go somewhere else.

Really good food and fast, attentive service. I had the Mariscos Rojo Molcajetes (essentially a large, boiling cauldron of delicious seafood), and I loved every single bite. The rojo sauce had a noticeable kick to it, though it wasn't so strong that my forehead was glistening (which has been known to happen with super spicy foods). We also had the calamari appetizer, and the house made salsa and chips, both of which were thoroughly enjoyed by our entire table. This place is well worth your next food adventure.

Food was exicilant, I Had Beef Fajatas and Wife had a Taco Chicken Salid. Not the first time we have been there. Is actually the 6 time in the last couple months and will be coming back. It is like a SMALL SPORTS place as they hadthe game on each time we were there but The Volumn was Low and the Background Music was Low enough to have a conversation without yelling. All the times we have been there the food was exicilent as I even had my birthday with 12 other friends there and had great service and great food. The Watress and also the Water was great in their service and customer relations. The place was clean and the restrooms were clean and well stocked with needed items. The Menue is really good with very reasonable prices, They also have a good bar with well drinks and a good selection of beers for beer drinkers. YES WE will be going back there and wife has said it is our adopted to go place to relax and have good food. OHHHHHHHHH They actually make their own FLAN and is was great, With whipped cream and chocolate drizzled on it.. You got to try it. They make it daily so please do not be to disappointed if they run out before you get yours if you are a late dinner... lol..

Fabulous food, best margaritas, and over the top amazing service. My friend and I were at Fort Hood for a week and stopped her for dinner our last night. So glad we did. The server was also our bartender and made the food and drinks exactly the way we wanted. I wish this place was closer to home. Chips and salsa and chips and queso were so good I can still taste them. We both had mango margaritas and at end shared a tasty desert. My friend had the salmon which she loved and I had spicy shrimp with cilantro rice!! Yummy!!!

Never do I go out of my way to post a review on anything not even when it's bad service but I had to give recognition to the manager at Los Cabos seafood restaurant, Omar. Not only was a restaurants atmosphere fun the food was delicious and the service was great but to have the manager go around acknowledging his customers making us feel at home with a pleasant welcoming smile my dining experience wonderful!

For rona times, the outside patio is great and is the reason we tried Los Cabos. It is clean and friendly, with a very attentive server. Excellent chips and salsa! The food is good, not great. We had cheese enchiladas and chicken chimichanga , charro beans, extra side of queso. Rice came out cold. Nice side salad. Will be back

Underwhelming for Seafood lovers. Most of the ceviches were finely diced to the point of becoming rubbery chewy seafood. Unfortunately I thought choosing different dishes would have been worth it. Not so much worth the visit, it's terribly overpriced and lacks flavor.

Arrived here at 1030 and was seated. I was first asked if i spoke Spanish when i said no The waitresses face changed as if she didn't have anymore to say. She did proceeded to get someone else to tell me that they're no longer serving food however this restaurant is not closing till 12:00 AM so for them to sit up there and refuse to serve me simply because I didn't speak Spanish and I wasn't Hispanic it's crazy to me I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Came here on Wednesday night 7:30 pm. Seated immediately but decided to eat out on patio. Great drink specials on house margaritas $2.95 each. Had a few! Lucy was our server and was on top of it. We only get to visit our son 1 or 2 times a year who is stationed at Ft Hood but this place is definitely going to be part of our visits. Thanks Lucy!

Visited this place for lunch. I'm from Deep South Texas so I know what good Mexican food and food Mexican seafood tastes like. I ordered the Mojarra and the camarones coco. The camarones coco had a good flavor and would eat these again. The fried mojarra was just ok. I have tried this Mojarra in south Texas and it didn't have the flavor I'm used to. Overall, I would say this place is 3 stars. It's a good place to eat if you have that craving for Mexican seafood and can't get any further south in Texas to try the best down there.

My husband, 2 children, and myself went here for dinner. I was a little worried because of some reviews I read about long wait times. We did not experience this at all! We were seated immediately, our server was attentive and helpful, and food came quickly. My husband had Enchiladas De Cangrejo and I had Capeado De Camaron. My husband thought his meal was just okay. Some bites were good and others he didn't like at all. The bite I tried I thought was really good. My tacos were by far the best thing I have eaten in Killeen!!!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because the tables seemed a little close together. Had it been full I would have felt like we were on top of the tables next to us. Overall, we WILL be back again!

Best option for mexican seafood in Killeen in my opinion. Good size parking lot and patio available for outdoor seating. The food seemed fresh and tasted great, portion sizes are generous as well and they are reasonably priced. Complimentary chips and salsa on your visit.

If you're a person that knows and appreciates good food, I'd ignore the good reviews and judge for yourself. People here in this only care about getting a LOT of food, not the taste, appearance, or quality so I've come to learn to not trust anyone with food recommendations. That being said....The server was nice and the margaritas were strong. I ordered the beef fajitas for my entree. The beef wasn't very flavorful and tasted a little old, plus the tortillas were tough. Maybe it was an off night but I'll just stick to drinks, chips and queso if I ever go again. It's not bad but it's not 5 stars.

This is probably my favorite happy hour spot in town. Good margaritas, and the food is killer. Salsa is the perfect amount of spice! I've never had bad service the multiple times I've been here. I even left my card once and they found me on Facebook and let me know lol. I appreciated the effort to get it back to me.

I always really try and give restaurants a chance. It was good but not great . I guess it is a hit or miss. The Food / seasoning is Mediocre , over sauce everything , lacked flavors In certain things was expecting more of flavor, was luke warm when served not hot. The Server was extra nice and most Of the Time attentive for most part . Maybe will give another try on another evening .

This is an excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. The shrimp tacos (Capeado de Camearon) are my absolute favorite. My family had their [out-of-this-world] fajitas! Their homemade salsa is delicious. Their service is also excellent and they even have live music. If I could give this place ten stars I would.

Ordered on GrubHub. Carne asada fries were very dry, very little meat or cheese, and they did not come with guacamole as it said on the menu. Ordered a Michelada and when the driver got to the restaurant, they told her it's only the mix, no alcohol. They should tell you that on the menu.

Do not recommend! Blood on my plate from someone in the kitchen cut themselves. Order was wrong three times. Awful service!

I initially wanted to rate 1. This place got 2 stars for the delicious food. What I didn't like was the huge portion of fajitas they gave me with 2 little flour tortillas. This is the first mexican restaurant I have been to that is stingy with tortillas. I had to eat most of my meal with a knife and fork. I could have just ordered a steak if I wanted to do that. The server said they recently decided to reduce the number of tortillas they offer but said I could purchase more at $.40 each. Are you freaking crazy? I also ordered a margarita with a sugar rim. I got one with salt. No attention to detail. The photo is how much food I had left after I used my two tortillas.

They hosted our office holiday party here. They were so helpful assisting with the preparation and set up for this party. They made this process so easy a seemless. When I tell you my people and I had so much fun!!! The food and service were exceptional.. This is not my first time at this establishment and it will definitely not be my last. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

The young man who was our waiter was attentive, but it couldn't make up for the poor food. We ordered queso with our tortilla chips and never got it, which wasn't a big deal since it wasn't on our bill. Yet, the main course didn't improve the experience. My supreme burrito was missing half of its ingredients. It was solely the tortilla, lettuce, and chicken. No beans, no avocado, no tomatoes. I was pretty disappointed. It was covered in the queso at least, but the queso itself tasted like melted kraft cheese. I was pretty disappointed since I had fond memories of this place from over a year ago. Their alcohol is also expensive for the area.

Good food. Good service. Covered outdoor patio seating. There is no sugar free tea. Lots of seafood and fish items. Where are the shrimp enchiladas and fish tacos?
