"Hidden in a strip mall and overshadowed by the large car wash on the other end of the parking lot, Los Chilaquiles Mexican Grill stands as a reasonably priced lunch in the industrial section of Torrance. Los Chilaquiles serves a spot-on version of its namesake dish with full customizability." - Eater Staff

Google
We loved our chilaquiles, very good variety and they are delicious, it’s clean and the guys are very nice and polite, freshly made juice and aguas frescas, I enjoyed it a lot, will definitely come back.

Google
I loveddd my plate! I had the chilaquiles with shredded beef and over easy eggs to top it off and chose the green poblano sauce, omg... they really satiated my craving for mexican food 👌🏻

Google
Los Chilaquiles has the best chilaquiles I have tasted outside of the homemade ones me and my family make. They have a variety of Mexican food, toppings, sides, & salsas, but we always get the chilaquiles because they are delicious. The staff are great, quick, and give suggestions if you ask. Prices are fair and food is good quality and authentic. My only complaint is that the seating area is too warm, but they have seating outside which tends to be shaded and fresh. Absolutely love this place.

Google
We randomly picked this place because we wanted Mexican food but with breakfast I come to find out that there was not a lot of breakfast options but after I selected the level of spiciness that I wanted along with some carnitas and some over medium eggs this plate was to die for. This location is in a very random shopping location which I would never have turned my head to look but I'm glad we made this choice because any other chilaquiles that I eat I will always compare it to that first dish I tried here. I'm from El Paso Texas and this is the closest to homemade Mexican food that you're going to eat in this side of California.

Google
Chilaquiles is their specialty. It's a bit pricy, but worth the money. Very filling. Different types of toppings and meat to choose from!

Hiram Rios

Google
Great food, amazing variety of sauces to put on your chilaquiles, great service, food was hot. Lux chilaquiles, slightly pricy but the portions were way better than Chipotle would ever be. Wish they had more locations and a nicer restaurant.

Carmen Richardson

Google
Chef Carmen here. OMG, Absolutely Outstanding. My 1st time here & I have No Complaints. Amazing Customer Service, Delicious & Fresh Food, Served Fast with a Smile. You miss this, you will not be happy with yourself in the morning. Check them out. A Hidden Gem. I will be back, Again & Again.

Google
The employees made me feel welcomed and honestly the food was really good. 10/10

Yelp
Four Stars because of price to value. As noted before me here you get your basic Chilaquiles' very well done and you can customize your order crispy or non crispy spicey and simple or very complex with the salad bar approach to add ons and condiments. I ordered the basic Green verde mild sauce version added rice refried beans and 2 fried eggs it was 20 bucks. My personal all time fave is chilaquiles at Pacos Tacos in Artesia. But they changed chef and it went from a moist green verde almost baked to a crispy almost nacho preparation. Whis is the style at most other places i eat. I have to say the staff was very friendly and accomodating and the product came out JUST the way I wanted it. It was good. But warning this place is almost ALA CART and what most would consider basics for a combo add up to a 20 dollar order for what other places charge 12. You can get your chilaquiles fix here the secret is to be very specific on texture, prep, sides spice level. You can get your dream dish here but for a price.

Nat R.

Yelp
Food is so delicious and staff is friendly and quick, i always get the chilaquiles with asada and egg

Tae K.

Yelp
Good food and fast service. Saw it on help and came cause I was near by. Chilaquiles are crispy and flavorful. You have options on what type of sauce you can choose. Never seen that before. Rancheras sauce is super good.

Louis P.

Yelp
Gotta say OmI avoided this place for a while when it opened years ago. But the chilaquiles are legit. Its an assembly line type of spot, choose item, protein, Toppings Chipotle style. The 4 stars is for Chilaquiles and the Nachos. Soooo good. Usually get barbacoa or pulled pork. Pro Tio: Ask for both salsas for the chilquiles youll get contrast in flavor.

Anahi R.

Yelp
They have very good customer service but the food is disgusting, ordered red chilaquiles with carne asada it tasted very nasty, they where cold and I ordered them in the restaurant for dine in, taste like fast food and it's definitely not worth the price $22 dollars, never coming back.

ruth c.

Yelp
It's known for its chilaquiles and green sauce with carnitas. That's good just not served temperature hot enough. Chicken enchiladas are ok chicken is too dry.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Huge portions, fresh ingredients, friendly staff, convenient locations, different fresh juices daily

Andrea V.

Yelp
First off, this place is very pricey for the quality of what you receive. It's basically a Chipotle style spot for chilaquiles (as indicated by the name of the restaurant). It was $40 for two chilaquiles plates, including the rice and beans on the side. It was already decided that this is not a place worth returning to. I think if the food had been heated, I would have probably rated it average.

Jose R.

Yelp
Food was great, the chilaquiles were spicy and the salsa had good flavor. I appreciate my plate being made to order and the carnitas were good carnitas. Seemed like a mom and pop shop with the vibe. The service was amazing and it seemed like they were having fun. Will come back whenever I'm around. Saw someone complain about chilaquiles being soggy tortilla chips down in the reviews. That's what happens when you put salsa on chips.....they're not nachos. They're chilaquiles

Kay C.

Yelp
Service: fast. Everyone is very nice and quick. It will be a wait during lunchtime Space: there are usually places to sit inside or outside Price : $$ - a little pricier than other places I usually get chilaquilies here. The serving size is good if you're hungry but the price is a little higher than some other places. They have a handful of different sauces to choose from and the portions for add-ons are smaller than I expected. Delicious, overall. I only come here every so often because of the cost. Docking one star because of the price and there are a lot of small portion add-ons that jack the price up extremely quickly (beans, rice , etc). :(

Angela L.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place bit left with disappointment. First of all, it's $25 bucks for chilaquiles w eggs and pico de gallo? Got the poblano salsa and it was bland....no flavor... looks amazing but didnt taste amazing unfortunately

Cord C.

Yelp
Wish I could give more stars!!! Tastes just like my grandmas cooking!!! Great service and fast

Name Is P.

Yelp
I was recommended to Los Chilaquiles , man oh man! The best! I get the habanero spicy green chilaquiles with carnitas and refried beans , fire!! I'm picky with refried beans but theirs are good! They have good flavor. I eat half of it in the morning and the other half at night lol it's a good amount of food.

Richard B.

Yelp
Absolutely remarkable! These remind me of the chilaquiles back in my hometown of zapopan! Extremely cool concept on being able to build your own chilaquiles! Come by! You wont be disappointed

Ivan S.

Yelp
We placed an order for breakfast and got a steak burrito and 2 chilaquiles rojos. Although they had a good flavor, there were a few missing ingredients. My chilaquiles were missing black beans, salsa and cheese. They were a bit dry. I ordered two eggs and it looks like it only had 1 (see photo).

Maricela M.

Yelp
This restaurant is famous for the Chilaquiles, but they charge you for everything meat, eggs etc... this time We saw that they have Menudo Saturday and Sundays I love Menudo so this time we my family and me decided to try Menudo they ask if I wanted a small one or a large one we went for a Large one... wow very disappointed. It was more water/juice then meat and hominy 2 spoons and the meat was gone the hominy was not cook was hard. if you want to stop by the portion is very very sad.. for the price not worth it

Janessa P.

Yelp
Really disappointed. I work around the corner, ordered the carnitas nachos.. charged me $20 for it?? All I got was extra cheese & cotija.. you're telling me that it costs almost $7 for those extra?? It was really dry, also thought it was going to be better cheese but no, it was super dry! The place is big though and it had lots of open seating. The customer service was extremely nice. I didn't want to be a Karen and didn't bother asking, as I had only 30 minutes for lunch.. took it and left.

B.L. N.

Yelp
The prices listed are incorrect. Regular plain chilaquiles without meat or eggs are about $13 with eggs $17 with steak like $22 Is it worth it? The variety of sauces is attractive. However the can't cook the meat with the chilaquiles. They put the chips in a pan. Sauce it up a bit then top everything. So idk. Definitely not a bad place everything taste great. But for the price. Not sure., if I can afford it tbh. $22 for soggy tortilla chips. Be realistic.

Sarah R.

Yelp
Always great service and best spot with chilaquiles. Great variety of sauces and protein toppings.

Ariana S.

Yelp
Love coming here! Food is great and so is the service!!!! I've only tried the mild and green chilaquiles..

Greg H.

Yelp
Great food served fast and fresh. The Chilaquiles offer a lot of options, and they are all worth trying.

Eric C.

Yelp
Outstanding chilaquiles made to order! The salsas were terrific and the chips perfectly crispy!

Anarosa M.

Yelp
Came to buy some chilaquiles and its 1:40 and apparently it's closed. The workers are saying it's closed when the hours show at 2pm. A bit disappointed

Lea N.

Yelp
The carnitas taco plate was good but they only give one tortilla per taco, and they're thin. So as you would imagine the taco fell apart as soon as i picked it up. Ended up looking like a chilaquiles plate. Two tortillas is a standard

Des R.

Yelp
food was delicious, the two men working were very rude , one got my sauce for my chilaquiles wrong and when i told him it was the wrong sauce he told me they tasted the same (i wanted red he gave me green) , he got an attitude because i wanted the sauce i asked for and had to remake the sauce and tortilla chips , he proceeded to make my food with an attitude. Now to the other man he was nice at first i asked for utensils for my 1 year old he gave them to me , we ate and when i asked him for a to go box he didnt hear me at first i said excuse me he said what and didnt even hand me the to go box he placed it on the food window for me to grab and rolled his eyes after i said thank you. Also i noticed every other guest that walked in they greeted with smiles. The food was good but service was horrible. And they weren't even busy to say there attitudes contributed to the way they treated me.

Peter M.

Yelp
Pretty good tasting food not authentic Mexican to my liking but tasteful. Service was fast and friendly. A bit pricey if you add eggs, but who's not gauging the public? I'd recommend this place

Bryant N.

Yelp
Shhh this is one of my favorite burrito places Summary: Don't wait, go go go Each time I am any where near this place I will get my chicken burrito. It only makes me sad that it more than hour away from my home and that they close at 3pm. I always order without rice and with black beans. Their salsa is good and I always go with their salsa verde. This item is also great cold. Usually I order 3 or more burritos (mustn't forget my significant other). They even have an app so you can order ahead. Last time round I order 10 burritos through the app and they made it in less than 30 minutes even during lunch hour. What I appreciated was that they handled both mobile and in-person order at the same time. They have enough staffing to handle all the orders which is always great and means you won't be waiting forever for you meal. Sigh.... I miss my burritos but I guess it is an excuse to go back for more.

Miguel V.

Yelp
Simple, fast, effective, good taste, and classic ingredients. I came on a Tuesday morning without any expectations just wanted to try something different. They are doing it right. I got the carnitas chilaquiles with salsa verde spicy. The carnitas had a good taste homemade. The salsa was just spicy enough to feel the heat but not to much were you can't enjoy it. The chips are crunchy and not saggy and they had black beans with the powder white cheese. Its like a subway for chilaquiles with fresh ingredients. A little on the pricey side i paid $22 with a drink but I enjoyed the meal. Will come back to try other sauces.

Jorge C.

Yelp
Excellent customer service!!! The guys here are awesome!! They are so detailed and amigable.

Karma ..

Yelp
Amazing... The shredded beef morita chilaquiles... Dear gawd. I'm so obsessed with this place... If you love spicy, add some of the habanero sauce.

Marianet T.

Yelp
Ok so I was skeptical about this place because I did not expect it to be this good. When I saw the set up I thought it was a great concept, like a chilaquiles bar. I picked the green chilaquiles with carnitas and a side of rice. There are different options for the sauce for the chilaquiles so I am definitely going back to try them all. This is a fast way to serve authentic Mexican food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great and friendly service.

Marc F.

Yelp
Real appreciative that they let me order 15 minutes before closing. Ordered carne asada chilaquiles with medium salsa. Perfect snack while meeting up with a few friends at Monkish brewery around the corner

Bruce H.

Yelp
I found this little place thanks to Yelp and glad I did. I had the chilaquiles with barbacoa and my wife a carnes asada burrito. The burrito was not that great but the chilaquiles were on point. They were spicy, the meat was tender and with flavor. We also had a cucumber/lemon drink that was absolutely awesome. The staff was friendly as well. I would definitely recommend, especially if you are in the mood for chilaquiles.

Ariel G.

Yelp
The medium green poblano Chilaquiles are my absolute favorite here ! Sometimes I'll just get them plain with the sauce and then hook them up at home ! so fire !!!

Ruben B.

Yelp
I had the Chilaquiles and they were delicious. The salsa is on point the chips they use are perfect. It was my first time there and will definitely not be my last. The service is great and people are friendly very clean place.

Terry P.

Yelp
Located in a shared lot with 7-Eleven at the entrance to the parking lot. We found this place on Yelp while looking for burritos in the area. It is similar to chipotle style where you customize what you want. We ordered one carnitas burrito and one shredded beef burrito, both wet with two different medium spicy salsas. The burritos were both delicious and hefty with all the toppings. Meat was well flavored, toppings (and chips) were fresh, and salsas/pico were good. Friendly and quick service. Definitely fulfilled our burrito craving.

Tina N.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place but the food was disappointing. I ordered the steak enchiladas with Spanish rice and the rice was so dry and flavorless. The enchiladas itself was okay. It came with a decent amount of steak but it also lacked flavoring. Maybe the enchiladas is the wrong thing to order here and everyone should stick to the chilaquiles. I have yet to try their chilaquiles but I'm hoping it's not as bland as their rice. I was also disappointed the meal doesn't come with some free chips and salsa like most restaurants do. The meal itself was already expensive plus they charge you extra for rice but no free chips and salsa?? Come on y'all.

F N.

Yelp
Personally I work too hard to go into a restaurant and just be ignored while people make eye contact with you and try to pretend like you're not there. I will not be spending my money at this location or any other location if they're not able to provide customer service along with food.

Lily C.

Yelp
The places is called chilequiles, get the chilequiles. Like Chipotle in set up but with way more salsa options. They make every order in a pan individually, eggs cooked fresh to order too. We got them loaded with steak, eggs, guac, rice and beans and it was a nice meal to split for two. The salsa red Morita was flavorful with a little kick. Looks like they have coffee now. Kinda wish it was open later cause I'd eat this all day

Kathy T.

Yelp
How is this place not a successful million-dollar chain? From their prices to their portions to their service. I thought this place was amazing! They're set up in a build-your-own-dish kind of way. Start off at the end, tell 'em what you want, and then you can pick and choose what basic toppings you'd like to have or not have. I had their Cheese Enchiladas with Rice and Beans ($8) topped with everything except onions. They roll the enchiladas right in front of you, top it with cheese, and then plop it in a little mini oven. The plate itself was very filling (it can be pretty heavy food though) and piping hot, super tasty with melted cheesy-goodness! My friend had the Chilaquiles with Steak and Egg (about $9.25 I think). It was amazing! Their green sauce is sooo good. They cut up the tortillas and fry them up on a pan right behind the counter. Can't get any fresher than that, right in front of your eyes. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. Service was awesome. I will definitely be back!

Sandra A.

Yelp
Fist time trying this place and it's a great place for some good Chilaquiles. Sauce are spicy just how I like it. Staff are super friendly overall great experience. Recommend 100%.

Jasmine L.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint. The chilaquiles hit the spot. I ordered the green mild with shredded beef and rice. The steak was really good as well and the carnitas. I sampled the chicken but wasn't a fan of It. Would recommend this place for anyone especially if you're in town !

Mandie J.

Yelp
Yum!! Read about them on Eater as best chilaquiles. I live nearby, love chilaquiles & hadn't been. What was I thinking?! Like chipotle, but chilaquiles. They fry the chips fresh & saute up with your choice of salsa & toppings. Gotta highly recommend the Morita & Poblana with eggs over easy & carnitas, will definitely try others. Glad to have another awesome food find close to home!

Anette J.

Yelp
Ordered through yelp but was never notified of my order being ready so by the time I picked it up, my order had been sitting there for a while. They offered to remake it which only took a few mins. Thank you for being considerate and thank you for the amazing chilaquiles. They're amazing

Tammy N.

Yelp
Bomb. And I'm not even Mexican so I'm not sure if my review counts for much. I know you don't typically add pico de gallo but I do to make it more refreshing. Def gotta add the egg and go with the habanero sauce, which does creep up on you and get spicy. But it's a good sweat!! I know traditionally most people prefer the red sauce but I love acidity in my food so green sauce FTW always. Side note this place is located near a manual car wash business in case anyone was wondering.

Kristen B.

Yelp
I ordered for pickup from here after driving by many times and using the car wash facility in the same shopping center. My order was ready on time and the staff were really friendly. I got the chicken chilaquiles with beans and guac and medium spice salsa - SO GOOD. I would definitely stop in here again to check out additional items on the menu!

Chris R.

Yelp
Three stars because of the super friendly staff, otherwise MEH. I don't know if it was just a one off day but everything was salty, the chicken had a bunch of chopped cartilage and fat pieces. And although prices have gone up everywhere, for what I got, it's too much. No plans to eat there again, sorry!

Sierra I.

Yelp
The food here is really good. It's kind of like a build your own plate which is really cool. I love having that level of customization. The place was very chill and had a very casual vibe. I could definitely see myself sitting inside and eating there. The online ordering is very convenient too. I will def be ordering again.

Grace L.

Yelp
I always come here when I'm craving some Chilaquiles, and it always hits the spot! I love the spicy green sauce which has quite a kick to it, the medium sauce isn't too shabby either. I usually go without any meat toppings, since it's a hit or missing sometimes with the meat being dry. They don't skimp on the toppings here. Limited parking in small lot, which gets busy during lunch hours. Service is always quick, I'm always in and out within 5 minutes if not a few minutes more - I've always gotten takeout here. The nachos are also pretty good here, quantity size is huge and I find it hard to finish in one sitting! Minus one star for the hit/miss quality of meat (I've gotten chicken and beef here before) and the short hours (they're not open for dinner booo)

Gina F.

Yelp
This should not even be a restaurant first the hours are ridiculous! Then it's way overpriced . You have two guys there that clearly can not cook, playing house .
