Where to Eat Near Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium Before (or After) a Show

"Open for more than 20 years, Los Chorros does pupusas incredibly well. With ample indoor seating, diners can order pupusas with chicharron, loroco, or plenty of other options. Also on the menu are savory or sweet empanadas with plantain, milk custard, and sugar." - Mona Holmes

For the price, it's okay. The pros are self service curtido y salsa, and nice staff. The wife loved their bean and cheese pupusas, which is rare since she's not big on beans. The cheese is really good, very flavorful, but imo not worth the price tag. They have to pay for their remodels somehow, right?

Google
When I think about eating pupusas ... I always choose Los Chorros ... the best always ... and the chicharrón con yuca not to mention … the best

Krys W

Google
Customer service is on point! Very friendly and professional staff. My food was pretty good. Freshly made so I did have a small wait time which was worth the wait to me. I do wish the cheese and jalapeño pupusa was more spicy. It was too mild for me. So if you like extra spicy all for it. Beer on draft.... always a plus.

Jesenia Alatorre

Google
We stopped by Los Chorros for dinner before a concert, and it was perfect! The pupusas were delicious, the caldo de res tasted just like my grandma's homemade caldo, and the horchata was the best I've had in years. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Google
Omg I come from OC to this place because these pupusas,I'm telling you, are AMAZING!!! And they're still delish for leftovers. They pack those pupusas and it's worth the drive every time!! & It's so cute inside too! & Don't forget the horchata omg!!

Karelia Jauregui

Google
You can enjoy a fresh homemade salvadorian food in this place. I recommend the pupusas and beef pastelitos it is delicious. I am giving 4 starts only because the waiting to have your food ready is too long.

Christy Martinez

Google
The best pupusas around. They're a bit pricy but they are big and the portions inside are good too. You can get as much or as little curtido and sauce as well, they are not stingy with it. The chicharron and yucca are bomb and so are the platanos con todo 🤤🤤🤤

Luis Quintanilla

Google
Best pupusas I've ever had and the horchata is delicious! Service is great and served fast. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tried them for the first time last week. Pros: Family owned business with really nice staff. Parking, ample seating, menu had decent options, they've got restrooms available, I think pupusas are made fresh as you can see someone working on them in the back. Let downs: it's a sit down restaurant but you've got to stand in line to order, get your number and then you can sit, so when I went there was a bit of a line. They keep the condiments in a bar area with temperature control that's super cold. When I went to add the curtido & salsa to my pupusas it was a contrast in temperature and it just didn't mesh well. The condiments were also bland. The pupusas lacked flavor and weren't as filled as I'd hoped for the price. Had a craving for pupusas that wasn't satisfied after my visit. Quality of pupusas left a lot to be desired in my opinion. They also have drinks available like Ensenada and horchata. They're kind of expensive in my opinion and no refills on your drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
Have been going here for a couple of years and the taste of the food has definitely changed. The pupusas are not as flavorful as before, the salsa and shredded cabbage were very bland.

Yelp
I've been coming here for ages and the food never disappoints, but when I walked in, there was country music playing. Really, guys?! I love country music just as much as the next guy, but I've never been to a Texas BBQ place that was playing cumbias. Just saying, the vibe was waaaayyyyy off. Almost makes me not want to come back.

Gina A.

Yelp
Came to have dinner long wait for our food, finally 45 minutes after we get our food by parts not all together. I get my gallina plate but no soup or tortillas, my husband food never came till 10 minutes after ... I have to get up and ask for my soup and tortillas all this food was cold .... No extra napkins , horrible service ,cold food and expensive!!! They are so worried of the to go orders they leave you waiting for ever to get cold food and not all together!!!!!

Yelp
I've been coming to this place for a while because the food is genuinely good--authentic flavors that keep me coming back. However, the customer service continues to be a huge disappointment, especially over the phone. There's a girl who usually answers--her name might be Marissa--and unfortunately, she always sounds annoyed, like she's being bothered just by answering a call. She has a bad attitude, treats customers with little to no courtesy, and on top of that, acts like she doesn't understand or speak Spanish... at a Salvadoran restaurant. That's honestly hard to understand and feels completely out of place. This is the second time I've had an unpleasant experience with her, and it makes what should be a simple order feel frustrating. I try to be patient because the food is worth it, but the poor customer service really drags down the overall experience. I hope management takes a closer look at how the front-line staff are representing their business--it makes a big difference.

Yelp
I wish I can give them zero stars! I placed an order through Uber Eats. Everything arrived on time, but when I checked my order the Fried plantains were soaked in oil and undercooked at the same time, I called so I can exchange them or get my money back but more an exchange I really was craving the sweet plantains. Ana answered the phone took my number and promised to have their manager call me back. 5 hours later I called back and Ana again said: He is busy but he'll call you. I am still waiting for their call.

Yelp
The quality of the food has really gone down ,sad to say. The red sauce tastes, "canned " fair to say maybe it does come from a can and they mix it , idk , but toooo much like the can itself . The slaw that they gave us was not the same flavor from other times , idk if they changed food vendor, are they cutting corners due to inflation? Idk but definitely not the same "los chorros " that I remember. At $5 a pupusa I expect the quality to be consistent, maybe staff changed ? Not sure, pupusas were hot and not bad, but for the price and flavor I might just go try to next spot. I had friends and relatives say it wasn't the same and I agree - not the delicious food I remember
google avatar

Yesenia E.

Yelp
The servers always seemed annoyed. When customers show up the tables are always sticky, and the food is very bland. The pupusas did not have a lot of fillings inside and it was mostly masa. It was impossible to get a server to bring us utensils as well as condiments for our food. I tried to give businesses the benefit of a doubt maybe it was because there was a rush of people I'm not entirely sure however it was not a memorable experience.

Yelp
This place is really good. Good food and good service. The staff are very friendly. I came all the way from Orange County...

Adriana C.

Yelp
Amazing experience!! The restaurant was very clean and customer service was excellent! They were welcoming and friendly. The food was great and loved the self served sauce and curtido bar section! Overall I give 10/10, I'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
My first time trying pupusas and it was delicious. The worker who helped me order was very kind too. Highly recommend you check this place out it's pretty close to lax.
google avatar

Daisy G.

Yelp
Delicious pupusas! Made to order and full of flavor. Staff is very nice and attentive. If dinning in be prepared to wait a while as the food does take some time to come out.

Jose G.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed I haven't been here in years and this place changed for the worse I'm guessing new owners or something because it seems like they now prioritize quantity over quality the menu is now weak it's a salvi restaurant what do you mean you replaced it with Mexican horchata that's cheap and weak they no longer have bean empanadas like what? dude that's a staple in our plates I was going to get food I was disappointed so I was like you know what no but I'll just get a drink and they even managed to get the fruit salad drink wrong...all I'm saying is people will pay if you have authentic good food but at this rate enjoy the couple of bucks you guys got from me I'm out
google avatar

Arnold D.

Yelp
I dislike the fact that you have to repeat over and over again to the cashier about the order you are putting in, crazy thing is even though we had to repeat ourselves and explain to them in a slow way, they also had the audacity to take time with our order and our food that we put in was wrong when the food got to our table( so expensive by the way for only two guest and just 4 pupusas in total and 2 chocolate coffees . Overall, I dislike the entire experience, first time trying a Salvadoran restaurant but because of this restaurant experience, it just might be my last time.

Yelp
I was coming in with high hopes for this spot pictures looked good food looked good so I decided to give it a chance with my coworker this last sunday We ordered a total of 7 pupusas 2 cheese, 2 bean, 1 queso con chicharrón, 1 queso con Loroco, and the one I was most excited about the birria pupusa with consomé. I started with the chicharrón and the loroco pupusa both were ok nothing special, cheese pupusa was good and the bean one was bad very bland no flavor. With high hopes I saved the birria one for last still very warm and consume still piping hot I went in for my first bite only to be very disappointed the birria had very little to no flavor it was very hard to eat it was like they just made a slit in the pupusa and stuffed the meat inside. The meat was dry even after dunking it into the consomé. The birria pupusa is a wonderful idea I just feel like it still needs to be perfected. I really enjoy pupusas so that was a bit of a let down I'm also a fan of pan con pollo which they didn't have on the menu unfortunately. Service was good when picking it up no problems there since it was a mobile order. And the restaurant is actually very nice inside.

Vanessa B.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming here for decades! We usually just get the pupusas revueltas but lately they just haven't been the same. The pupusas used to be a lot bigger and now they're smaller and they're hardly putting anything inside mostly just tastes like masa. This place has changed a lot and not for the better, the service is okay.

Ita S.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I've come here but the pupusas are delicious! a bit pricey, it takes a while to be served if you order take out but other than that it's fine.
google avatar

Steph C.

Yelp
Yes yes yes! This place is bomb. I used to live around the area and this was my place for bomb pupusas and delish food. We had breakfast here yesterday and oh god, it was really good. Everything so flavorful and well prepared. 100% recommended for homemade yummy food.
google avatar

Survival J.

Yelp
I endolgue the " revuelta" better than the chicharron with beans. Popusas aren't oily, just the right taste AND prep. If you order the cheese only eat that one 1st
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Order steak & eggs and chorizo & eggs. There were only about 4 tables being used and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The steak was very salty. The chorizo and eggs were excellent.
google avatar

Katrina C.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now. The restaurant is a vibe, it's modern and inviting. It is pricey, so heads up. Pupusas are practically $5.00 each. The food is decent, but I've definitely had better elsewhere. The wait is generally very long, but today was relatively fast (for dine-in). We later ordered a to-go order (for 1 pupusa) and we waited 10-15 minutes or more. *Rolling eyes I hate that they don't serve empanadas anymore. Those were bomb. The customer service is mediocre. The women are a little dry, and more concerned with taking other orders, rather than attending to the customers in front of them. The men, are friendly and attentive. Maybe there's a bias here, lol. The parking situation is a problem. It's in a very small strip mall, and there's hardly any parking. I'll probably keep coming until I find something better.

Martha M.

Yelp
Tenía mucho tiempo de no comer en este restaurante, me encantaba su refresco de fruta, pero hoy muy malo, solo tenía manzanas, que triste que estén bajando de calidad.
google avatar

Nelson S.

Yelp
Service it's good and food the best, but this is my second time I ordered the same thing two hours ahead of time, and food it's never ready on time second time!!!
google avatar

Anthony M.

Yelp
The pupusas were good and the price was good also...my only thing is that they need a english menu it was all spanish...and i can not read in spanish wish i could though.

Jose M.

Yelp
5 pupusas and 2 small horchatas for $42.50 super expensive I couldn't believe it and you still have to serve your own stuff from the bar hehe this was a really bad experience Horchata wasn't even done correctly it was from a fountain. Not coming back and not recommended. Service was ok but fir the price I thought we would be at least be offered drinking water but it was a really bad experience.
google avatar

Marlon P.

Yelp
Kept me on hold for 9 minutes, restrooms were super dirty, when I got my food it was greasy (seems like the pupusas were refried) and the service was horrible. I don't recommend this place, horrible and will not return.
google avatar

Alicia S.

Yelp
Tonight I was in the mood for Venezuelan empanadas but had no luck finding any so, I opted for pupusas instead. I'm so glad I did! Los Chorros has AMAZING pupusas. Now, I'll be honest, I went simple just ordering cheese but I was not disappointed at all. Let's start from the beginning. When I first got here there were only a couple people eating. You order at the counter. I prefer ordering at the table but this is probably more efficient so I'll take it. I had coffee that is apparently brewed with cinnamon. Tasty! Next they brought me some coleslaw thing. Wasn't expecting that and it wasn't my favorite thing but since I didn't actually know it was coming, I'll just ignore it. I ordered fries because they said they were real fries. They sure were. They were fresh cut fries instead of processed junk. Very good! Now the pupusas. Let's say, despite how good the fries tasted, I wish I wouldn't have ordered them. The pupusas were huge! I ordered two but should've only eaten one. However, they were too good to only eat one so now I'm stuffed! Everything about it was great. There was so much cheese. The taste was amazing. I will come back here for sure and I recommend it. Oh and by the time I left, the place was filling up pretty nicely.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
Los Chorros is a little modern restaurant. Pupusas were flavorful and the agua frescas as well. The pupusas were bigger than expect, had to take some to go. If you're nearby and wanting authentic Salvadoran food you definitely need to stop by

Leslie E.

Yelp
This iconic Salvadoran spot has changed drastically. From being the best salvadorean spot in Inglewood it's loosing its touch. Just recently I ordered pupusas and pupusas were drenched in oil. The staff did exchanged them for other items but the pupusas don't taste the same anymore. I also asked for other items such as tamales, and antojitos. They removed them from the menu. It's now looks like a fast food place.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Best Salvadoran food I've ever tasted! This place is a hidden gem. I couldn't stop ranting and raving about this place it was seriously that good. Not only is the food delicious, but it was super clean inside, and the customer service was excellent. Stop stalling and go try this place, you won't regret it! I just went there yesterday and I think I'm going back tomorrow to take some other family members. We just found a new favorite spot!

Drew Z.

Yelp
Place is not the same. Quality is not the greatest and service here is somewhat ok sometimes they're nice sometime not so. Revueltas are not like I'm used to idk it's just different from what it was before.
google avatar

Rebeca S.

Yelp
Doesn't look like much but they have the fluffiest and juicy pupusas I have EVER tried. The food tastes fresh and the curtido is cut fresh. They no longer have waiters. You walk in take a menu and order at the register, they hand you a number and you sit. I don't like this because if you need anything you have to stick yourself in to ask but the food has surpassed all expectations that I forgive this. BEST FLUFFY PUPUSAS. Message to the owner: Would love to see the presentation of the food be as nice as before. The chicarrón con yucca plate looked plain, although delicious. Also, maybe have someone walk through the tables ask if they customers if they need anything. Best authentic Salvadoran food!

Emmanuel ..

Yelp
It has good pupusas and good service an ambiance feel to eat . Old school feel with a bit of modern touch .
google avatar

Dahlin D.

Yelp
I waited 25 minutes for my food but saw other people with the same order, which they ordered after me btw, get their order first. I will not be returning
google avatar

Karla C.

Yelp
Good service, authentic Salvadoran food, excellent customer service... Chicharrones (fried pork meet) delicious!!! Floors, tables, counters and restrooms are super clean. Really good job Los chorros.... The best
google avatar

Karen P.

Yelp
sooooo good!!!! one of the best pupusas! after moving here i was looking to find a new pupusa spot and this is definitely it
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
The pupusas were okay; not tasty but also not the worst I've ever had. What was terrible was the plátanos fritos, so don't order that here. They were so dry!

Juan Z.

Yelp
Showed up 15 minutes before closing and they welcomed us with open arms and the pupusas were also great we had the chicharon con queso
google avatar

Jenny J.

Yelp
Love this place! Pupusas are well done and they always give enough curtido for the pupusas. The pupusas are a great portion size and always taste fresh. Their quesadillas are delicious and moist. Every time I work in Inglewood it's a MUST stop type of place. The music is and environment are great and I like that it's a family oriented type of restaurant. The ensalada drink is refreshing and you can tell the fruits are freshly cut.

Niko D.

Yelp
The pupusas were so good! The service was great and friendly! Will be returning! The restaurant itself was nice, spacious, and clean.

Angelina M.

Yelp
Los Chorros just keeps getting worse. I've been coming here for over 20 years and after they tore down the original look and gentrified it, the quality of service has suffered and the food is unpredictable. I do not eat inside given the atmosphere change and usually just order pick up or a food delivery. At first the pupusas suffered then the dishes and now, my all time favorite, caldo de res is trash. It was basically vegetable broth with nothing but fat and it cost 16.99$ this is the second time they do this. Do not recommend. The restaurant is so hit and miss now that it just isn't even worth it.
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
Luck up on this place. As I was driving pass I saw Churros (so I thought) and thought they were selling desserts but they actually sell Mexican food and are known for their pupusas. If you're ever passing through Inglewood or close to LAX you must stop by this great place. Not only do they have the best pupusas their plantains are by far the best I've ever had! The service was excellent and they were very pleasant. Stop by you will not be disappointed.

Mariel M.

Yelp
pésimo el servicio de las meseras Mal encaradas todo el tiempo y hablamos para una orden a recojer con 30 min de anticipación y todavía no estaba lista
google avatar

D I.

Yelp
Pupusas are good, we has cheese, cheese with loroco and revuelta We love ensalada drink. But we ask for a michelada this time. Never ask for a michelada again it was salty

Daisy C.

Yelp
Hi I have visited this charming Salvadorean Restaurant in the City of Inglewood a couple of times , I recommend to visit , the ambience is family friendly , no reservations required, the place spacious, clean , service is fast , authentic cuisine you will like it
google avatar

M M.

Yelp
Customer service hasn't changed. Employees look mad. Guy on register didn't thank us for coming party of 4. He saw me walk towards the restroom, didn't even offer to explain they have a new system for the door and need a code. Lady brought our food out and told us we have to get up and get the salsa and curtido. All of this and want us to tip before we get our food? Really ! The food quality has also dropped. Have to look for another pupusa spot. I can see the owner doesn't care by all the 1 star comments. You can also hear the yelling and arguing of the cooks. Save your hard earned money n time. Oh and there's card fee .75
google avatar

Chantal L.

Yelp
They completely changed their menu, for the worse. My husband and I have been coming to Los Chorros for over a decade and while the ordering process was really hard in the beginning, once they renovated their place and got new employees it was amazing, until today. They updated their menu and now have the pupusas already made, meaning any customizations can't be done. I always have added jalapeños to mine and now it can't be done. My husband would always order only chicharon (no cheese) because he's lactose intolerant and now they've taken chicharon pupusas off the menu, every pupusa has cheese added to it. If you're lactose intolerant or have a dairy allergy, you won't be able to eat any of the pupusas here. It's extremely disappointing but they lost 2 customers and unfortunately we won't be back.

Melissa T.

Yelp
Definitely a great place to get pupusas and their meats are very tender and delicious. Service is very nice and attending. A great place to take the family for something different.
