Amazing tortillas! I’m from Texas, and these are some of the best corn tortillas I’ve ever had. They make everything fresh, and great flavors all around. Loved the quesataco (taco with melted cheese on bottom) and the chips and salsa. I’ll be excited for them to add in some more vegetarian options. Very authentic flavors and great service!

Delicious tacos!! I got the carne asada quesataco, pollo asada taco and the taco if the week (pork). I also liked the spicy sauce and the portions were big. It’s a small taco shop, but the staff were nice and the food was ready quick. I would go back and try some other things on the menu.

Ordered 3 tacos, one steak, one chicken, one pork, each plain with only cheese. Generous portions and good flavor. Friendly helpful staff. Definitely coming back.

Had the quesataco Al pastor and the Barbacoa (weekly special) as well as chips and guacamole. The food was great. Definitely among the best tacos in DC. I will be coming back!

A delicious taco experience at Cinco Tacos. They have recognizable Mexican taco options with emphasis on flavor. The prices are somewhat reasonable given the portions. There is seating inside the restaurant, however limited. The tacos are delicious and with the various sauces they offer, flavorful. For the Florida Avenue / U Street Corridor, this taco shop is a good simple food alternative in the area which is otherwise oversaturated with bottom tier pizza options. The customer service was good and order fulfillment was pretty quick; however, I can imagine how busy this place can get on a booming weekend along the Florida Avenue / U Street Corridor. Street parking is available albeit limited. Overall a good experience here. I will try them again when In the area.

So this is a cute taco shop. They have street tacos, nachos, quesadillas, etc. I enjoyed the carne asada tacos and nachos. It was all very good. The staff was friendly and prompt. I recommend this spot for sure.

I went here after a late night out. Thought I'd get a couple beef tacos to go and eat when I got home. I got two carne asada and they weren't great. They were pretty bland tacos on taste and a disappointment.

Months ago, I had delicious tacos from here. Wanting to get another taste of Los Cincos, I came during their hours just to find out that they were closed. I can't count the amount of times I've come here and they were closed -- very disappointing. This place might be inspired by Los Tacos in NYC.

The cutest little taco spot!! Small on the inside, with a cute bar with 4 stools. Be prepared to take them to go!! Overall the service was quick and great! Lety was such a sweetheart. She took time to answer my questions and made recommendations. I got two quesotacos, 1 chicken, 1 steak. Both were delicious. The steak is a bit on the drier side, but with the pico and green sauce, you couldn't really tell. I washed it down with a Jarritos. I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was a steady crowd. I can see this being a crowd fav when U street is busy!!

decent tacos, convenient location, open late, food is quick. none of the meats stood out, but of what we tried - would rank them as al pastor, then steak, then chicken. chicken and steak were on the drier side and you definitely need salsa especially if you go with corn tortillas. But the flour tortillas were better here. tacos are $4, more if you add pico de gallo, +0.75 if you go with the asada. the chips and guac at $5.25 is a small cup of guac. the salsas are decent. they had burrito and quesadilla specials, I wanna say they were around $12.

Came here after I read the reviews and it did not disappoint! Very simple and straightforward with friendly service. We sat at a small bar for four people. I ordered Al Pastor QuesaTacos, Pollo Asado Tacos, and Nopal Taco. The QuesaTacos were phenomenal. The Pollo Asado Tacos (pictured) were delicious and highly recommended. The Nopal Taco was a little bit slimey and too spicy for my tastebuds so I was unable to enjoy it. But overall, very quick and affordable!

The tacos are really good for DC and solid if you're accustomed to Californian tacos. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite.

Los Cinco Tacos has been opened since last week, and this late night spot offers tacos (carne asada, pollo asado, al pastor, and nopal) topped with cilantro & white onion and quesatacos (carne asada, pollo asado, and el pastor) topped with pico de gallo. They also have 'especial de la semana', so be sure to inquire the staff. Side offerings are chips and salsa and chips with guacamole. We tried: +the carne asada tacos +the pollo asado tacos +the carne asada quesatacos +and, the pollo asado quesatacos For drinks, we tried the housemade horchata. Everything is supposedly made in-house, and the recipes used are actually from Chef Jose's grandmother - very sweet! Staff were efficient and friendly! +horchata +open late!

Great tacos! beef and chicken have a naturally smokey flavor from the grill. Chucks are perfect. Service was friendly. The ambiance is a taco place ambiance, you eat standing and you can order while you eat.

Cutest street taco shop! They have cute little cola accessories all across the store! Also a clean island to sit down and eat. Came here for a bite and was greeted with so much respect and kindness . Good price for being in D.C. Food was so yummy too! I am DEFINITELY coming back here and I'll be brining in some friends with me! Sucks that it's only open a few times a week, but that makes it even more precious! Also workers were so sweet, kind and compassionate.

Delicious tacos. Especially liked the "quesatacos" which have melted cheese on the tortilla (underneath the other toppings). Chicken was my favorite but also tried steak and pork which were tasty as well. Only a little bit of seating indoors so best for a quick meal alone or takeout. Will definitely be back!

This are the best tacos I've had in all of DC. True authentic Mexican cuisine! I have no photos to add because the tacos were gone immediately. Will be recommending to everyone and for sure will be coming back!

These are the best tacos that I've had in DC. They rival what I've tried out West, in San Diego. I never leave reviews, but I had to for how good these were.

I've never left a yelp review, but I have to for this place. I'm from California and the tacos here are GOOD! They also have burritos and quesadillas now and they are ~chefs kiss~
