"With a number of locations across town, Los Gorditos is well loved for its quick and friendly counter service, affordable prices, and wide range of options that includes a full vegetarian and vegan menu. This extends to the breakfast burrito menu, at least for vegetarians, with a massive burrito stuffed with scrambled eggs, beans, cheese, potato, rice, sour cream, and a choice of meat or meat-substitute, including bacon, chorizo, soyrizo, and soy curls." - Alex Frane

Such high quality ingredients and diverse options!! I really appreciate the enormous vegan menu and inclusion of tofu. I got a tofu burrito and it made my sensitive stomach very happy - I often can’t deal with the processed fake meat options. Every bite was delicious and nourishing (and the portions are substantial). This food is prepared with a lot of love. Thank you for the amazing food and service 🙏🏻 we will be back!!!

Google
I ordered a burrito Carne Asada and Shrimp with no rice and no beans and no cheese no sour cream, just cilantro, onion, and avocado. They made it wrong but they fixed it. The meat didn’t have no flavor the shrimp they have no flavor no it was just a bland burrito, yuck yuck yuck I wasted my money. They need to add more seasoning to that meat put some lime and some garlic and onions powders some salt 🌶️ don’t make it spicy tho and some seasonings and stuff. They need to hook it up but other than that yeah Nasty I won’t go back 😩😩

Google
They simply never disappoint. This time I got the vegan empanadas rellenos with soyrizo, and watermelon agua fresca. It took me ages to choose just one dish from the impressive vegan menu. I’m gluten-sensitive too and there’s lots to choose from. The empanadas were crispy and hot, and the salsas so flavourful and fresh, and the drink tied it all together. I would eat here daily if I lived in Portland! It’s always a necessary stop when I’m in town.

I love me some good Mexican Food and this place hits the spot. Very authentic, took my order quick, food took about 10 minutes but well worth the wait, came out fresh. Had the chicken Enchiladas and was very satisfied. Too busy stuffing my face to even take a decent picture, but so good!

Google
I think I may have just had my best burrito yet... and I'm a burrito snob. Soy curl fajita burrito was so delicious; the texture and flavor reminded me of pulled pork so much that I had to double check it was soy curls. Every bite had a perfect mixture ratio of fajita onions and peppers mixed with amazing soy curls and refried beans. I also tried the chipotle and habanero salsas. I normally always go for the Chipotle salsa but I also tried the habanero and it was flavorful and nuanced; not just mouth fire. New favorite spot. The burritos are literally cute little fatties; the name "Los Gorditos" lives up to the lore.

Google
Worst burritos in North America. We ordered two asada burritos with sour cream (Stacy burritos). The burritos were 90% rice, 10% beans, cheese and meat. The tortilla was burnt and the burritos were wrapped in a square shape. Disappointing for people who used to go to los gorditos when it was in its early delicious days. Also somehow it ended up being $36?? To be fair, friends have warned us of its downfall.

Google
I come here every couple of weeks when I'm playing at the game store next door. Food is great and so is the service. I get 2 or 3 tacos and they are very full. This is a good value.

Google
Too spicy for some I have been eating Los gorditos burritos since it was a food cart near Franklin HS. Tonight, I decided to treat my girlfriend's family to my favorite burritos because they only ever eat Chipotle burritos. Well I'm not sure if it was retribution for my large order just before the dinner rush or if the chef was just heavy handed with the sauce but the burritos were definitely more spicy than normal and half of the family had to find other food to eat. I still enjoyed my burrito, but I felt quite bad for feeding my girlfriend's family food that was inedible for them, and I wish that I could take back the tip that I left.

Yelp
I have visited other locations of Los Gorditos, and I was starting to think it was a pretty cool place. But when I visited this one, disaster struck. I ordered a quesadilla, and when I got home, I discovered it was CHOCK FULL of DISGUSTING onions, even though I didn't order them and they aren't listed on the menu. I spat it out. It would have taken about two hours to bring it back and have them remake it, so I just stayed home with my dinner completely ruined by this restaurant. Adding unauthorized additions to food is a great way to buy yourself a wrongful death suit. If the restaurant sees this review, I would like to request a refund.

Yelp
Man, this place used to be so good. Has definitely gone down hill. Customer service was good and fast. Burritos are good if you want a huge burrito for $10. I ordered beef in my Stacy burrito and got chicken (my partner ordered a chicken burrito and his order was correct). Kind of a bummer to bite into chicken when you wanted beef. The burrito was okay, not as good as I remember. The salsa is horrible. It's literally water, I didn't take a photo but should have. Very disappointing. Ambiance was weird. Years ago it was always packed, now it was empty and kind of a weird vibe.

. ..

Yelp
Just skip it- stopped in for a quick lunch and every item we ordered tasted off. Unfortunately it was just really bland across the board. With so many decent burrito shops in the neighborhood I see no reason for anybody to come here.

Ab Z.

Yelp
There's been an update in the death metal case at los Gorditos - the volume has been turned down and food prep is in full force. Also, I have to agree, I think carnivores are just sad about the fact that the vegan and vegetarian options are LIT. Beware the portions are larger than the average human head. Delicious, give it a chance, oh and always check a yelpers full page for their attitude if all they leave are negative reviews. Go to Applebee's Karen, you're not helping me find the best burrito in town. No potatoes here for Todd to rate.

Scarlet P.

Yelp
This place is great. They have a typical menu as well as a vegan and vegetarian menu with plenty of options. The prices are unbeatable and they give you sides of salsa along with a large potion of food. There's plenty of space inside and the service is quick. The person that's rang me up each time is really nice as well. Definitely 10/10 :)

Bodie P.

Yelp
What a delicious little place. I stumbled across this place whilest exploring and ordered the shrimp and fish tacos. I highly recommend the shrimp taco expecially. Ir was both crisp and moist. Will definitely recommend this place for a good taco house.

Camille B.

Yelp
After hearing the neighbors rave about this place on NextDoor, I walked 5 minutes in the cold to check it out myself. Hidden under a generous layer of lettuce, onion and tomato were my 3 tacos. Grilled onions were the signature element and base flavor of these tacos, a hidden treasure. Service was friendly, and the red and green sauces were flavorful. Thankful they are open during the pandemic. Bonus points for a clever name!

Yelp
Good Lord-itos! This is honestly my most consistent burrito fave. I can get my regular vegan options but can also bring any friends as they have three menus! One for vegan, veg and meat. They have always been so thoughtful at this specific location and are happy to customize anything you like but the standards are real good. The garbage burrito is an indulgent fave personally in all menu options even! Their chips are good and the salsas are d-lish. Great option and they have locations all across Portland. I frequented this location for over two years but now will have to try the Division soon as I'm closer to them. Happy burrittoing out there! Oh they also do lots of other yummy things besides 'rittos... but just so you know, the 'rittos are goooood.

Gabby K.

Yelp
I'd say the burritos here are pretty good, but inconsistent...how would I know this from coming here once? We ordered two garbage burritos and one had double the meat. I really enjoyed mine, especially while I had the orange salsa, which was great, but I didn't get enough. The meat(s) weren't the best I've had, but the burrito as a whole was enjoyable. My partner could not finish his and I took a bite and there was a lot of meat, so it was really heavy. I actually preferred the balance of my burrito better. Overall good, but there probably should have been a bit less meat in his and a bit more in mine and a lot more orange sauce!

Uey R.

Yelp
Needed dinner in this neighborhood and decided to give this place a shot. I ordered fish tacos and chips and salsa. Chips and salsa were embarrassing. I had to ask the waitress if they mixed up the salsa with a cooking sauce. The salsa was all liquid, like a watered down red sauce (look at the photo). It was horrible lol, especially for he price. Fish tacos weren't bad but it was scolding hot. I can be patient though. Overall atmosphere, staff, and that dang salsa lead me towards a 2 Star :-/...

Yelp
Clean, quiet and spacious enough for Wheelchair seating. Walk or roll right up to the service counter, Menus are there and labelled for yoy: Vegan, Vegetarian. Or Meat. Choose a bevvy from the cooler if you like. Sorry we saw no alcohol. Hit Saraveza after for a featured fancy draft or sometjong from Sara's decent Cooler selection. I always find a bargain IIPA then regret not getting a Barrel Aged draft. So sometimrs o do both, alone or not. For both, no pressure for anything. #72 bus. Bike racks are near. Back to Gorditas! We dropped in on a hot evening for a cheap bite when we both boycitted cooking. And we couldn't use the GroupOn i compelled Dale to buy by starting at my Ebates link, so he could get 10$ in addition to my $25 Referral Bonus. Our plan was to get 2 Meditranean Dinners for $10, then enjoy our Rebates. Well since Mandi is closed Mondays, we skipped across the street. Glad we did! Shared a meaty! Garbage Burrito for $8.50 and had the wonderful Fish Taco. Great meal and an amazing deal. We'll be back...maybe it will even keep us from trying Mandi's again. Here's where to get your extra Rebate, just sign up from my link...then click thru to your Cafe or Retail deal and buy your deal. https://go.ebat.es/yhLN7WvpgX - cheers!

Yelp
This is the better Gordito's location to sit down and eat. You get what you pay for here. It's simple, but for a vegan, it's affordable for a substantial amount of food. The vegan soy curl fajita burrito is delicious. It truly hits the spot. I only took off a star because the sauces that are out buffet style never look really clean or appealing, and I love hot sauce so it's disappointing to second guess whether I should grab some or not. Sometimes the service is lackluster, but it seems like they hired a new person who's much friendlier. Otherwise, it's pretty clean here, never too busy, and way better than the SE location.

Tara R.

Yelp
After reading through some of the reviews and not having tried the previous locations, I figured I would give this place a try. I arrived around lunch time, and thought for sure this place would be packed and overly loud. Turns out, I was wrong on both accounts. They were steady busy, no huge line, and the noise was non-existent. I grabbed a menu right away and noticed it was counter service, which is cool. They have multiple menus, vegan, vegetarian, and meat. A little odd to have three separate menus, but whatever. Ordered three carnitas tacos, because I love me some pork! I usually get a horchata to drink while out for Mexican, but alas, they do not serve it. What a shame. After paying for my tacos, which came to less than five dollars, I grabbed my water and some sauces from the salsa bar and sat down. I wasn't waiting more than five minutes before my food came out. Three overly full carnitas tacos with a light dusting of onions and cilantro. They do not skimp on the meat filling, which is very much appreciated! The meat was flavorful, and juicy. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Came in to order, dude in front of cash register was on his phone and bouncing his head to death metal. I looked over the menu and waited for him to acknowledge me. Without looking up from his phone, he goes, "my ears work." Should've walked out right then but I've been going to los Gorditos since 2010 and their food is pretty delicious in a gut-buster kind of way. Anyway. Kick this guy to the curb. Is he trying to alienate customers?

Naya L.

Yelp
BEST SOYRIZO TACOS!!!...(and very economically priced)..salsas and sides are always tasty, nice and fresh.

Riley H.

Yelp
So delicious and good price for the amount of food you get! Each location is also consistent with the quality/contents of the menu items which I like. Ideal for vegans or meat eaters!

Brittany B.

Yelp
Okay. I do NOT understand how Los Gorditos could have 3 stars. So as I'm spiraling down the less than stellar reviews, I'm noticing a common trend: they're carnivores and not stoked on the customer service. I'm vegetarian, so I can't say much about the meat menu... but I legitimately fall in love every single time I get the soycurl fajita burrito. It's set the bar so high that I don't think I could live in a city without an LG nearby. Boyfriend feels the same about the vegan garbage burrito. As far as service, I've never had an issue at this location. Calling it in or ordering there, it's usually ready in 10 minutes. The only complaint I can possibly think of is the lack of a water station - not worth knocking off a star. TLDR; sorry carnivores, for once in your life the veg options are better than yours.

Shalaura J.

Yelp
Easy to order, no long wait in line or for the food to arrive. I ordered the regular vegan taco and vegan burrito with no onions and I enjoyed both. The employees were nice and helpful. All over a great experience and I will be returning in the future.

Kemi A.

Yelp
Delicious tacos! Went here before an event and got some fish tacos which were devine! And I'm in love with their sauces which range from mild to HOT. The price can't be beat!

Zak W.

Yelp
I've come here so often now that I just have to give them 5-stars. First, the food is amazing. Like I said before they have some of the best enchiladas in Portland. I've had many types of burritos, tacos, and enchilada from this place and all are wonderful. What I love most about their food is the serving sizes and they give you sooo much meat with your meal. Come'on most place skimp on meats so much. They usually only give you a scoop of chicken (I'm looking at you Chipotle!), but no, no not Los Gorditos! This is the only location I've been to so I can only speak on this one. But the food is super tasty and fills me up something wonderful and the prices are great. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Also, they have this orange looking spicy sauce that I absolutely love. It's spicy but actually taste good as well. Try it! Also, the customer service here is always impeccable. Our non-profit frequents here often and they've catered some events for us, they are so awesome to work with. They've even given us some free burritos and given a discount because we order so much food. Overall, Friendly? Yes. Quick? Yes. Affordable? Yes! You can't beat that.

Ana M.

Yelp
A Taqueria Los Gorditos in my neighborhood? The good Lord in heaven has answered my prayers. Los Gorditos has long been a favorite of mine. Move over NoPo Mexican, there is a new sheriff in town. This location has the same great menu as the others with lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well as hearty meats! I'm partial to the burritos. I recently got a bean rice and cheese burrito with onions and cilantro that was fantastic. They grill the tortilla which is clutch in my opinion for putting together a serious, legit burrito. Minus two star for messing up my order a few times. My hope is that this was a slip up and they rise back to their excellence they so rightly deserve. Staff is a major downfall of this location. I have watched staff chat in lieu of making food/taking orders. Food sits in the window for extended periods of time. That grilled burrito I mentioned that is so clutch - only done about 50% of the time, and I'm ordering the same thing. Burritos are made at half size every once in awhile. Consistent quality control is just not happening. Clearly still working out the logistical kinks for this location. Part of the magic of Los Gorditos is the salsa bar and this location is no different. They have a handful of salsa items, pickled goodies, cilantro and onions and limes to go hog wild with your food garnishing as you see fit. A far as Taquerias go in general, Los Gorditos Norte is very clean and welcoming. Lots of tables to hang out and enjoy your food. They take cards and cash - for awhile other locations were cash only but never fear my card only carrying friends, they got you. If your in NoPo and are in need of some authentic delicious Mexican food I have a hunch Los Gorditos will not disappoint.

Hei-Lee S.

Yelp
Looking for a quick bite to eat? It was a rainy day & I was craving some authentic tacos. I'm staying at an Airbnb near by and ended up finding this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered two chicken tacos ($1.50 each) and although they were small, I enjoyed them. The tortillas were fresh and warm, the chicken was fresh & juicy and the mild salsa was delicious! These probably won't fill you for dinner but if your just a lil hungry, Los Gorditos will satisfy your hunger for the moment.

Brittany H.

Yelp
Coming from California, I know good Mexican food. When I asked around for a good Mexican restaurant, I quickly came to realize they're weren't many to choose from. Then came Los Gorditos and my world changed! Los Gorditos offers reasonable prices, wonderful food, and vegan options! Need I say more? The vegan nachos are incredibly scrumptious. The soy chorizo and soy curls are amazing and each nicely compliment any burrito. The portions are huge and prices are very reasonable. Give Los Gorditos a try - great food at a great price is really hard to beat.

Alaina R.

Yelp
Always good. I miss this location being open and hope it reopens when they can bounce back from the pandemic

K K.

Yelp
Los Gorditos is my Mexican comfort food fix when I'm in NE Portland. My favorites are either the soy curl mulita or just a classic burrito. The staff is friendly, my food always comes out quick but not suspiciously quick and they've got a great salsa bar selection. Even though I am a meat eater, I have never gotten meat here.. for some reason the soy curls call me when I walk in the door. Every now and then my food will be a little too salty but it's nothing bad enough to keep me away. Los Gorditos has been helping me recover from hangovers ever since they joined this quadrant and for that I am thankful.

Robert M.

Yelp
Terrible and rude. The lady who took my order got off the phone say "fuck those customers blah blah bitches" I was like that's how you take orders. Thankful she was sorta nice to me I guess. But overall rude and terrible. Haven't even tried the burrito

Erica K.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with this place. First of all, I'm stoked they have separate menus for meat, vegetarian, and vegan options. For vegans they have things like soyrizo, soycurls, tofu, and vegan cheese. Score. And the food is pretty delicious. The staff is friendly. That being said, the service is very slow. Everyone waits 20-30 minutes for their food. 25 minutes for one burrito? Ouch. Additionally, they almost always mess up something with my order. Every time I've gone (maybe 6 times), I've ordered vegan cheese on my burrito. I've only actually gotten it once. Or, I'll order the burrito that doesn't have fajita veggies in it, but they'll throw em in there anyway. What's the deal? All in all, I'll keep going back. And I maintain the hope that they'll improve over time. By all means, get your Mex fix at Los Gorditos - just know what you're walking in to.

Elena H.

Yelp
I been coming here for about 3 years now. Usually, it would hit the spot with the quality and the price. Today, I am sad to report that the quality is no longer there. I ordered an asada burrito to go, paid and left. When I got home the quality of the meat was not great. It was chewy and loaded with fat greasy small chunks. I just couldn't finish it after a couple of bites. I hope that this was just a one-time occurrence. I haven't decided if I'll go back.

Veronica B.

Yelp
I come here every time I do not have time to cook for my family. The prices are reasonable, their food is consistently hot, adequately seasoned and with plenty of whatever protein I order, albeit chicken or shrimp. I don't usually order red meat but when I see my husband's red meat mess of a platter it's usually greasy. He doesn't seem to mind the grease, though. The staff is always friendly to me. There's a gentlemen who works there who is reserved, quiet and not much of a talker but I don't think he's trying to be a jerk. There's someone whose name I think is Stacy who is always friendly. She's "to the point," gets her job done and so I'm so always left feeling as if Ive had an efficient yet pleasant experience. I don't give them 5 stars because it's not a 5 star type of restaurant but it gets the job done every time!

Nyla H.

Yelp
The soycurl fajita burrito vegetarian is the best thing I have ever tasted and I'm not even vegetarian! That is delicious and that alone is the reason to come here, irreplaceable

Lisa N.

Yelp
Do not recommend. This first time I went the wait was incredibly long. They are clearly understaffed and food tends to sit for a long time in the window. Our food was cold by the time it was at our table. I tried to give this place another chance and had the same issue as well as food poisoning for the entire next day. All fixable issues with proper staffing and food handling, but I won't be back again to find out if that happens.

Levi P.

Yelp
No!! Chile relleno burrito is like a grease trap from the stove wrapped up with half a cup of sour cream! The paper bag leaked grease all over the car. Veggie burrito had a bunch of good veggies but was somehow devoid of flavor. No salsa or anything included. Also it took about 20 minutes for two burritos to go.

Ash R.

Yelp
I love their vegetarian burrito!! Favorite burrito in the city.

Shannon M.

Yelp
On the way home from the grocery store, where we bought a lot of ingredients for vegan tacos, we stopped at Los Gorditos just 3 blocks from home for some Vegan tacos. Upon entering, we were greeted with silence by the staff member behind the counter who seemed to be contemplating his existence at the time. We sat strategically to avoid nose picking 4 years olds and yuckie douches that were loud talkers. The salsa bar had pickled, spicy carrots, yet they seem to have forgotten to add the pickle and the spicy. The food came promptly, and without too much flavor. We realized that we could have just driven three more blocked for a much more tasty vegan meal... But HEY- the Mexican Coke was good!

Nate R.

Yelp
Coronavirus got me like "5 stars for anywhere who has food." But Los Gorditos even got 5 stars from my pre-covid19 privileged perspective.

Josh P.

Yelp
Vegan Mexican food at its finest! Seriously. Best Mexican food in Portland. Hands. Down.

The J.

Yelp
Dear Los Gorditos Norte, you need to hire an extra person at this location. I eat out a lot, and I see this situation sometimes, and then I don't see the restaurant a year later. I want to see you a year later. Great food (I'm a meat eater-- I had a chimichanga with carne asada--it was delicious), people want to eat it, unfortunately there's not enough staff to pump it out in a reasonable time frame. I was very happy with my meal, and the smell of everyone else's meal here, but 2hrs before closing, I don't like to hear that you've run out of the essential ingredient to your namesake dish and a handful of other dishes. I don't want to wait 25 minutes for a side of rice. I don't want to have to compete with the people ordering on the phone to get my order in. The woman at the counter was busting her ass to help in the kitchen, get orders in, and answer the phone--all the while totally keeping a pleasant demeanor. Unfortunately, everyone waiting for their order looked all-but-defeated by their wait. This is the sort of food that takes time, I get that, but I felt like what I experienced tonight, and what I've been told is not an unusual circumstance, had everything to do with lack of staff. It's not the worst fix to have to make Los Gorditos Norte...

Robert R.

Yelp
The food is disgusting, but cheap and close to PCC and just promising enough that you keep trying it and hoping it's better the next time, sort of like the slices at sizzle pie after 10pm. Everything is too salty and too greasy, the salsas are bad, and I get a stomachache every time I eat here. They have a lot of vegan options, which is super cool...but most of those are also gross. For some reason, a lot of people seem to love eating here, but they are either outright wrong or trying to punish their bodies. If you care about vegan Mexican food, go to Nutri Taco or Santeria. If you actually just want that weird portland style refried bean burrito they do here but have it be less gross, go to la sirenita or king burrito or something.

Dylan B.

Yelp
This is a really hard review for me to write. I had been SO looking forward to a Los Gorditos in my neighborhood as soon as I found out they were opening. I've spent many sunny summer afternoons on the Apex patio, drinking amazing beers and chowing down on their mouth watering burritos. This new location, however, bears little resemblance to the greatness that is their SE 12th location. The chicken burrito wasn't necessarily bad, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about. The bland meat was only made palatable by an absurd amount of sauce. Veggie burrito was also not too special. Way too much lettuce and not enough flavor. The real disappointment for me was the soycurl burrito. I have no idea what the hell they did to this thing, but it felt like there was just as much cooking oil in here as there was real ingredients. As much as I hate wasting food I had to give up on it towards the end, as I really felt like I was going to vomit from all that grease. My plate had a pool of oil on it nearly an eighth inch thick by the end. The service wasn't that great. I noticed that they started putting the chairs up and flipped the open sign well before their posted time of 9pm. If the employees want to get out of there earlier, change the closing time, don't just close up while people still might be trying to come in. Due to their proximity to my house I will absolutely be back here again. I really really want to like this place, and if the food and service improves I will absolutely update this review.

Lana N.

Yelp
Came here after my class for some tacos. It took a while for me and my friends to get our food. The tacos I got was pretty good. After a couple bites I found three pieces of bone in my al pastor tacos. My friends also found some leaves in their burritos. Don't think I would ever come back.

Cassius M.

Yelp
The food was great, the service was horrible. I Ordered extra sour cream in my burrito and got none, I went to get a side of sour cream and paid for it. After 5 minutes I go back to the counter and ask for my sour cream because he still hadn't brought it out. No response other than "oh!" He runs to the kitchen and grabs some. The whole time his coworker who was counting out his tips was cursing and telling people to call the management and complain because he didn't have proper change. If there are two employees, it wouldn't be hard to solve the problem yourself. Take money to a bank and get some change, it's a Monday before 5 o clock and banks are open. Don't curse out your employer and inconvenience your customers with a bad attitude

henry m.

Yelp
It's a good salty quick fix, but there are a couple people in particular who provide the worst fucking customer service.

Lily L.

Yelp
I love this place so much, but I am only giving it 4 stars because ordering through postmates or something similar is terrible. They won't follow the special instructions. If you're like me and you need hot sauce for your burrito, you better go there and get it yourself. The fish burrito is my favorite thing on the menu. I never would have thought to order one, because it sounds gross, but I am eternally grateful to my classmate who turned me onto them. It's my favorite burrito in Portland.

Baker S.

Yelp
This place is almost awesome. Everything I have had is fresh and tasty. My rating would be 3.5 if I could. Here's my beef: They use poor cuts of meat. The last deschebrada burrito I had was so fatty, I had to pick a majority of the meat out of my burrito (or my mouth.) The next time I tried the carne asada instead, and it was very chewy with a lot of gristle. Again, I picked out almost all the meat. I am so glad I was eating alone! I know I can be a bit picky and squeamish about meat, but my last two trips really bummed me out. On the plus side, they have a good variety of sauces, and the prices are reasonable. I bet if you order vegetarian this place is legit.

Abby V.

Yelp
Favorite vegan mexican! Get the tacototes with soy curls. Really though all their stuff is good.

MacKenzie C.

Yelp
But portions for the price. The staff made one of the orders chimichanga style when it wasn't an option. It was great! Good food, great seating, nice community area. I will be back.

Benjamin A.

Yelp
Our favorite vegan Mexican food in Portland. The in house salsas are great. They are quick and the food is consistent.

Russel C.

Yelp
It's great to have another Los Gorditos in town...especially that isn't as crazy crowded, and no chance of getting stuck waiting for a train while dying of hunger. This one has the usual great salsa bar, though it would be nice if they had some reusable bowls for salsa like the Pearl location...the paper boat just doesn't do justice. The squeeze bottles are ok for some of the salsas, but a few are too chunky for them and just get messy. I love that this one has a ton of fresh cilantro, limes, jalapeños, and onion on the salsa bar... We came a couple of days after this location opened and it was great, as always. We came again for Valentines Day dinner (my wife picked, yes I am that lucky!) and it was as we expect. Fantastic selection of vegetarian options, this meat eater usually goes for the veg garbage burrito...because I can't ever pick just 1 "meat".

Yelp
This is our go to vegan burrito place! They have an entire vegan menu in addition to vegetarian and meat menu. Woooo! I just get rice bean and avocado burrito every time and it's sooo delicious! I think is only $4....i love how they flat top cook the burrito so it's extra hot and browned. Salsas are yum. Sometimes there's a line for rush lunch times but they are overall a fast enough kitchen. My only critique is that it's a little dirty, sometimes they run out of avo, and they should have a water station so it's quick to refill your own water. Thanks for 100 delicious burritos and we will keep coming back for sure.

Yelp
Went here before class when I was starving and in need of a decent burrito to get me through the rest of my Monday. I ordered a basic veggie burrito. Guy upsells me on adding extra avocado and fajita veggies which adds an extra dollar to the total. Later I'm eating my burrito on the way to class and realize there are no fajita veggies. Also, the worst part is that there were literally 3 tomato tops, the part with the stem you cut off that gets thrown away. 3 of those in my burrito. I love vegetables but I don't think anyone wants to eat those. Anyways, super let down disappointment at a time when I was really depending on them. I almost went back to get a refund but would have been late my class. Lesson learned. I won't be going back to this lame, weak taco shop ever.
