Remember the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover", well here it fits. The location is in a small plaza that looks to be old or just a bit outdated. Dnt let that stop you from trying this Taco spot! Keep it short lol the food was great,atmosphere is chill,I like the music variety playing while you dine. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I had the quesabirrias and some tacos de lengua. They were 🔥. Definitely will be back to El Homies taco and try some other things on the 24" menu. They do have taco Tuesdays and also have an app you can order food from.

Let’s just start off saying the food was good. BUT, they barely add any extras. I had open gorditas, which came with a side of tomato and lettuce which they barely put any of. Not even half a lime was given. By the time I finished one Gordita I was already out of lime and halfway thru the lettuce and tomato . Finance order Birria tacos, that barely came with any broth. A small styrofoam container. Like literally an extra small container which is shocking considering their birria is like 17$! And it literally comes with nothing! Hard to enjoy ur meal when ur running out of everything! Also only gave us ONE red sauce and ONE green sauce for the entire meal. Was running out after the first Gordita. Picture is the lime that came with the meal and the tiny cup for broth.

Guys come check this place out! Delicious well seasoned tacos. If you come on Tuesdays they have a special. Very affordable and great attentive staff!! I got variety chicken,chorizo, ground beef,steak and birria.

Stopped in for some good tacos before we had back to Pennsylvania, where we only have Taco Bell. We look forward to authentic Mexican food every year that we visit and this place didn’t disappoint. The owner and service staff up front took great care of me, and even took our long drive in consideration when adding an extra treat which was such a fun surprise ! Thank you for amazing food and such kindness!

Steak tacos were Good. Chicken tacos were not good. Chicken soaked into the tortillas. They also forgot to give me my chips with the salsa.

The food was AMAZING! I highly recommend the shredded beef tacos! As well as their salsa available on the table great flavor! Plus $1.50 Tacos on Tuesday! A deal you CANNOT beat!

Every Mexican restaurant is different. Sometimes in subtle ways, sometimes in not so subtle ways. I found Los Homies to be great for my pallet! The meats are seasoned well and tender. The greens and tomatoes are fresh crispy and cut just right. The flour based elements of the meal are flavorful and soft or crispy just like they should be. The green hit sauce was the way I like it as well. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was happy! Give them a try when you are having Mexican food cravings and it is likely you will be happy you did.

Ordered corn tortillas for my birria but I got flour instead, which I can't even have. So I called the restaurant and the person who answered told me "flour is better". I had to ask twice for them to remake them with corn tortillas. When I went to pick it up they got mad that I didn't bring the flour ones back... What are they gonna do? Serve it to someone else? It's a shame bc the food is normally good.

Last night, I was craving some tacos, so I decided to check out Los Homies Taqueria. This taco shop is located off 49th St N in Pinellas Park. I walked in for the first time and found them to be quite busy. The restaurant was nearly full. I was greeted and seated immediately. They brought over some chips and salsa. Salsa was better than expected. I knew I wanted some birria, so I ordered the quesabirria platter. The food came out in good time and looked great. These tacos were bigger than expected and quite filling. The beef was well seasoned and they were generous with the cheese. The consume had good flavor as well. It was a tasty meal. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to the taqueria. The food was good, service was quick & friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. I look forward to a second visit in the near future.

We haven't found time to sit down and dine at Los Homies yet, but I recently ordered vegetarian tamales (bean & cheese and green chile & cheese) after reading about them on social media and the tamales were absolutely delicious! The staff members were friendly & accommodating, both when I ordered and when I picked up the tamales. I appreciate how labor-intensive tamales are to make and I couldn't appreciate Los Homies and their hardworking staff more. I highly recommend.

I thought this place would be pretty good considering your Mexican aesthetic food I tried Taco Bell the other day and was very disappointed thinking that this may be better order three tacos beef shredded blue-loaded tacos they were tiny they had three Shields around each one they were so saturated with fat and grease what a disappointment I was $13 for three tacos I will never ever go there again I don't understand somebody can claim their authentic Mexican and give you such greasy soft nasty tacos I gave them the benefit of the doubt I will never ever eat there again I truly wish they would drain the fat before they put it in your taco

My review is on chicken street tacos. Being from So California where there tons of taco trucks I was looking for that same taste. This was a total disappointment. Chicken had absolutely no taste. Just taste like boil chicken out the pot and then dried out. I even tried putting the green and red hot sauce, that didn't help. Maybe the pork and beef taco might taste a little better. But I don't suggest the chicken tacos at all. Please go somewhere else. And if anyone knows of a authentic place that serves street tacos let me know

So I've been here twice, I saw some friends post about it awhile ago and then it caught my eye driving past the unassuming strip mall by the sonic. I had the Chile relleno which was pretty good, but not my favorite and not filled with much cheese. And the enchilada lunch special which I actually really didn't enjoy at all unfortunately. The rice and beans are pretty basic.. nothing noteworthy but they serve complimentary chips and salsa and the salsa is very fresh, I mix a little of their green hot sauce in cause I'm spicy. The tacos are REALLY good here though, the tortillas are like a little thick and chewy..so good! The staff is attentive and nice and I like the vibes inside. They do have awesome lunch special prices and definitely worth checking out on Tuesdays with $1.50 tacos.

This place was better when it was in the food truck. Everything was at least always hot. The restaurant seems mismanaged and everyone not working together. The Birria is nasty when the young guy is cooking. It was much better when the spanish mother was cooking the food like how she was in the food truck. We were waiting tonight an extra 15-20 minutes for our order which is no problem but our tacos should have been hot and fresh instead of cold and soggy. I think running a full restaurant is too much for them and they need a stronger team working together and communicating. Also now even grosser, yelp has that they have 21 food safety violations.

Excellent street tacos! Coming from so.cal., hard to find really good tacos in FL. This place may top my list. Not the best location but most good tacos come from hole in the wall places..lol. Been here twice. Had the chicken, pastor, Carne asada, and birria. All excellent with great flavor. Perfectly cooked Tortillas. Their green and red hot sauces are really good too. Guacamole was just ok. Can't beat their $1.50 Taco Tuesdays!!

Food is pretty decent to good. The service however is very slow even when more than half the place is empty. Honestly, I'm not sure why it takes so long lol like 45 mins we waited one time and 30 another kinda annoying lol. But the tacos are cheap. The sour face one server has is the worst, we hate when she's our server. We love Karla, both of them and hope it's either or but one seems to not work there anymore. Anyways, not a terrible place. But not the best best either. But I'll still eat here lol

Just reviewing the birria...because birria is the next big thing in mexican food The Birria tacos were HUGE! Maybe too big. I prefer my birria tacos crispy, then dip them in the consome. What threw me off was the lettuce in the tacos...it just doesn't belong. Should be meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro. They weren't bad, just 3 stars for me.

This place is so slept on! Absolutely phenomenal!! Every time we go here, we get something different and it never disappoints

Upon arrival was no atmosphere Almost seemed like we were interfering with them as the mocked the Gringo patrons oh yes I'm fluent in Spanish Food all tasted the same No chips or salsa No gracias!!!

We've been eating here since they were a food truck, came into the brick location and they have sure upped their game! The food was top notch. Perfect portion sizes and the right amount of flavor. The service was pleasant and efficient. It's a very clean location, bright and welcoming.

Ordered the birria quesadillas and they were ehh. If you're looking for accurate and good birria quesadillas I'd shy away from here. Gave it a 3 star as the service was not bad however I just personally did not vibe with the taste as a taste guy.

Food was great! I ordered street tacos to go. They held up really good, I live about 20 mins away. I also ordered the nachos trio (the one with all the dips). I was a bit bummed because the queso seemed like store bought. If you like guacamole it was delicious. I'll go back and order more things.

Came for taco Tuesday and a great deal for simple street tacos, BUT ordered two aguas de piña that were the same price as our 8 tacos!! 5.99 EACH for aguas de fruta!! This is no bueno homie!!

I feel awful writing this because I've never left a bad review but unfortunately I went to eat there for the first time last night and it was just not good at all. When I got the food it didn't look appetizing at all but I was still excited to try it. Honestly I'm not sure if it was because we got there close to closing time or what because I see other reviews saying the food was good but all the food I got literally didn't taste like ANYTHING. My friend and I were so confused because we didn't understand how all that food that seemed to look well seasoned just had NO flavor. We mentioned that it literally tasted like if someone made some yummy food and then rinsed all of the flavor out. I really hope that maybe it was just that batch or the time I went because it was so disappointing

Small place, understaffed, located in what used to be an old dry cleaners. Everything is new although the booths have mismeasured tables and they look odd protruding out about 18 inches past the bench seats. The food was good, service slow but it was busy, noticed several people leave after not being served. Would really help if you spoke Spanish. Extensive menu but not familiar with a lot of the items.

My husband was too polite to post this so I'll do it. I don't know how they managed to do it, but the ONLY flavor our food had was salt. Just salt.

Food truck on 49th in Pinellas Park. Nex to the Sonic. My daughter and I tried the steak and the pork taco's. They were delicious! Meat seasoned nicely. Side of red (hot) sauce or green. Onions were grilled and on top, fresh cilantro. Lime on the side. 2.50 a taco. When I opened container I was disappointed at how small they looked. After eating them I was over it. The corn tortillas were hot, almost burned my fingers. Nah, not really. But hot. And plenty of meat. We will definitely be back there! They did not seem real busy. People should check it out.

Some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The rice and beans were cold and probably not homemade. The Charo beans were full of scrap meat I wouldn't feed to my dog. The carne asada wasn't flavored. The guacamole was just lime and salt. The salsa tasted store bought. Overall the best part of the meal was the Hershey kiss that came with the check.

The tacos are always good. Haven't been to their restaurant since it's opened but I did always go to their food truck spot and when they were setup at the fair.

Such an amazing spot. My server was Karla, she was really friendly and had bubbly energy! 10/10 best service ever Can't wait to come again!!

A few things. They should just fire the girls who work the checkout counter. They messed up the order and we got the wrong meat. When I arrived, they handed me the food without verifying if I paid, which I didn't pay yet. I had to re-check the order and saw they missed an item. On top of it, the tacos are meh. Senior taco is the spot and is not far from this place. Won't be back.

I think other taco spots in the area are going to have a problem... These guys are amazing. I've always had a great experience I even go and get 20 or 30 tacos to go for my employees and they all come out perfect in the sauce. it's got a nice kick to it as well, keep up the good work. Was really looking forward to trying this place but after an hour of no drinks and all food orders being wrong, we told them we were fed up and walked out. Kind of a cluster f**k with service. All tables filled with dirty dishes and wait staff were pretty clueless to customer service. Maybe they need to just get oriented to running a restaurant business compared to a food truck.

Our experience was horrific at best, We were there about 6:45. All table/ booths were not cleaned, we squeezed in a semi clean area. Young man came out for our order, ordered drinks, Guac, & our dinners. Waited 50 minutes, still had O of our order. No drinks, Guac or signs thats we even existed, other were getting thing that came in after we ordered. Finally, my lady got an order of something she didn't order, still no drinks, guac & my order lagging. She sent hers back and said she was done not to make it rite. My food came out, the chimichanga arrive, had no rice or beans as menu described. Still no drinks or Guac! We left after informing our waiter. Told him nothing was correct. We left very disappointed as were excited that they came from a food truck & understood the food to be great? service needs alot of work, nothing came out of kitchen correct. Never got our drinks or Guac after waiting for over an hour. I would wait till the learning curve is complete before even thinking about going there!

Good food very small space. I was not very comfortable with the buffet layout. No covers with a lot of people serving themselves.

If you are looking for top notch tacos you should come to this authentic Mexican restraint would highly recommend and the service was amazing I had happen to talk to the chef and told him his food was amazing and such a nice crowd

Best street tacos we have had since moving to Florida from Texas. We had the pastor and asada tacos which were both great. Tortillas were amazing and service was friendly and fast!

Best ever tacos! We had the pork, beef and steak tacos and loved every bite! Can't wait to return!

Their tacos are consistent and good, their enchilada is good and they have an amazing green sauce. The only bad thing about them is that their burrito is gross.
